There was a soundless explosion high in orbit above the planet a moment before the Zephyr materialised in orbit. Nemo was in his quarters and he was awoken by the ships AI. The Jedi Master was not a very good pilot, in fact he was quite terrible and let the AI pilot the ship most of the time.
"Master, we have arrived at our destination."
The strange metallic voice echoed around the room as the lights came on. The Jedi Master stirred from his sleep and rolled the covers off the bed. He stood and quickly slipped into his traditional robes before addressing the AI.
"Take us into standard orbit and scan the system, I'd like to know what's going on."
"Immediately Master."
The small Jedi ship settled into a standard orbit as the sensors began their passive and active scans of the system, not out of the ordinary for a ship that had just entered orbit. Nemo was making his way to the cockpit, it would only take him a minute or so until he was there.

The Imperial forces that be noted the ship almost as soon as it dropped out of hyperspace. Its IFF read Republic, and a single Republic warship was not something to ignore.
Republic shuttle care to explain your presence in our system, you have ten seconds to comply or you will be fired upon.
As if to prove the point those guns in orbit 144 to be specific locked onto the ship and warmed up their plasma generators.

Nemo was now looking over the sensor readings for the system. He had not been anywhere is quite a while that was this hostile towards the Republic.
"Master, we have been hailed and targeted by several orbital gun-emplacements."
"Are there any enemy ships in orbit?"
"Negative Master, I cannot currently detect any enemy warships."
Nemo took this as his cue to take manual control of the Zephyr and increase speed towards the planet. Assuming the enemy would soon open fire he had also powered his shields and plotted evasive manoeuvres into his course. The Jedi's aim was to get into the planets atmosphere as quickly as possible.

Nisk had been meditating in his quarters on the lower aft section of the Cruiser, when there was a sudden increase in speed. He opened an eye to see that the room was gradually tilting; as if the ship was veering to miss something.
"Oh, that can't be good." The Shadow mused to himself, the ship continuing to accelerate under his feet. He'd been in this situation before; drop out of hyperspace, think you're good enough to get onto a planet without being questioned, then having an armada on your tail. It was an age old story, but recently since the end of the Holy War. The tensions between the Jedi, Republic, and the Empire had been contentious...being an Imperial Knight world, well, it was safe to say now that their "views" were different than that of the Republic. The Cruiser's subsequent arrival was being dealt with as any invader would, it seemed.
"Nemo!" Nisk yelled into his wrist communicator as he ran at a full sprint down the main corridor which ran up the spine of the ship. "Damn it!" He cursed, hearing nothing but the silence of a dead feed. What was Nemo doing? What was Nemo thinking? The Shadow asked himself, allowing his frustration to aid his body to go faster. Bulkhead after bulkhead passed him until he had to slow down for the bridge's blastdoors to open.
"Why are we maneuvering like we're going to be fired upon?" Nisk asked coolly knowing he probably wasn't going to like the answer from his fellow Jedi.

Nemo was sat at the front of the cockpit in the pilots chair which was somewhere he usually tried to avoid sitting. However with not a huge amount to hit up here in orbit so he didn't feel too badly about it. The Jedi Master turned his head briefly as he heard Nisk enter the cockpit.
"Good Morning Nisk, I trust you rested well while we were in hyperspace? It seems as if you've answered your own question when you think about it, maybe you should take a seat and strap in. I'd suggest the tactical station!"
Nemo pointed to the station directly to his left that controlled the primary and secondary weapons systems for the ship as he continued his manoeuvres.

Well that was unexpected.
On their own the orbital gun emplacements couldn't harm the Zypher much. Its power output was close to that of your average starfighter. However 144 starfighters can sure pack a punch on any ship. As the Republic shuttle began to manuver; which for a large ship would still leave it pretty vulnerable, the guns fired. Not all at once mind you, but near enough to it that it looked amazing. Planet side it would like there was a really bright new star in orbit, that was also green. Up in space though was were the real action was, as the ship continued to move the unmanned turrets corrected their course, much like any satellite would by using microthrusters they tracked the vessel while firing once every ten seconds.
I guess you could say the ship was lucky though. Normally by now the guns down on Aaragu would have fired. Except during a nasty rebellion someone had ordered them destroyed, they were nearing completion of a replacement T-65w but until then they had relied on space superiority. Which they did not have because all the fleets were being recalled to Kuat.
Trying again a voice appared on the comms. This one the curt voice of a man in the military, his sharp brisk talk that of someone used to giving orders. A general perhaps. It doesnt matter.
Explain your actions, if you do not stop your tactical manoeuvring we will consider this an act of war and you will be destroyed. You do not want to be the flashpoint for a second galactic war do you?
not trusting in an answer a coded message was sent out to an outgoing vessel.
Crouching Tiger change your heading to bearing 789.653 and board that vessel by any means.

A small communications shuttle - a non-descript shuttle of little known class or model, but composed essentially of antenna and transceivers - dropped out of hyperspace with an actinic blue flash, into Aargau's space. A rich banking world, the world was of little use to the Quincy beyond the fact it was located in the Deep Core. It's small crew primed communications equipment, cycling through several standard bands - their communications officers double checking the ships systems before giving the go-ahead to their superior officers. "This is the communications shuttle COMS1 to local space and authorities - we are conducting a communications test, and have no interest or further business in your system. Please tolerate our presence, and we shall leave as quickly as possible. Thank you." After waiting an appropriate amount of time for responses - co-ordinating with local authorities and other entities, the ship began its operations.
The ship began its operations as set out by the Quincy Directorate, broadcasting a high frequency communication pulse along Subspace and holonet bands. The entire process took roughly three hours - cycling the same pulse along each band at three hundred bands every tenth of a second - broadcasting across the entirety of the comm bandwidth in three three hours. When the ship was done, it oriented briefly, and, as silently as it came, it left.

Aargau, the jewel of the Deep Core. Its status as a former Imperial capital attracted business and tourism, ensuring that the bank's coffers were rich with those who came to see the building where the ambitions of their Emperor first began. As a result, its traffic above the planet was rather heavy.

Emerging from hyperspace, the Valahia made its approach towards the planet. Even now, so many years after the First Order began and the capital moved from Muunilinst to Coruscant, this world continued to see heavy traffic all because it was where the order gained its initial start, even if by ambition only. Historical places always seemed to attract tourists and those deeply loyal to the Emperor and his goals.
From the bridge, Xoia watched as they made their approach, the world growing larger before her. However, her attention was directed away when the comms officer spoke up as orbital control hailed them. Turning, the woman made her way over to the comms to answer the questions that were asked. Aargau Orbital Control, the is the Valahia. We are seeking to establish ourselves in orbit for a time to undergo some routine training maneuvers for my pilots and my troopers. Transmitting clearance codes now. She then nodded to the officer who began the transmission upload.
A few minutes as the ship came to a halt a short way away from the Golan III stations. They weren't about to push any of their luck. They were a newly created unit and ship so it was unclear if their codes and registration had been updated within the databanks or if that information had been received by all First Order fleets and planetary controls. Before long, though, the sound of reconnection came through as the voice on the other side spoke again.
Valahia, we have received your transmission and have granted approval for your ship to reside in orbit to practice your maneuvers. We are uploading coordinates now for ground and spacial positions to give you the room you need while remaining clear of traffic and civilians.
Xoia gave a sigh of relief that all went through smoothly and that they had a place where they could work. Copy that, Orbital Control. Moving to designated coordinates now. It was but a few moments before the ship began to move and turned away from the planet to head to its assigned position. She then looked to the coom officer. "Contact Lieutenant-Commanders Erass, Brin, and Ondarr as well as the Death Troopers and have them report to the hangar bay fully geared and ready for deployment in the next twenty minutes" Upon receiving confirmation from the officer, Xoia turned and head out to change into her flight suit.

Making her way into hangar bay, Xoia stood tall when she stopped at the entrance, helmet under her left arm as she glanced around. From where she stood, she saw all those she requested present and standing a bit apart from each other if only to better determine the groups. However that was but an easy task since the attire a pilot wore was different from a Death Trooper, despite the black coloration.
Moving forward, she first made her way to the group of the Death Troopers, approaching the woman that stood in front of the group. "Captain C'baoth, it is a pleasure to meet you face to face. I've heard of some of your exploits outside of the files I've received. Very impressive. You most certainly are deserving of the position granted to you. Hopefully, we are able to utilize you and your team's abilities regularly enough to keep them sharp."
The scarlet-haired woman saluted as Xoia spoke. They may have both been ranked as captain, but between the Stormtrooper corps and the First Order Navy, Xoia's was a much higher rank.
"It is a pleasure to be here, Captain Reyes. It was a bit disheartening at first to be assigned to such a small patrol ship. However, fully understanding what our job fills me with pride. My men and I will not let you down."
Xoia nodded. "I have faith that you and your men will seek to accomplish your tasks in the quickest, most effective manner. I will also ensure your team gets plenty of time on the ground to undergo training procedures to keep you all from getting rusty. In fact, we will begin now." She handed a datapad to the captain as she went on. "Have your team board the shuttle and head for the coordinates listed. Begin your training exercises and ensure all tactical data is uploaded in this pad so you and I can review later. My team and I will not be joining you this time around as I will be working with them in starfighter formations."
C'baoth took the datapad and gave a nod.
"Understood, ma'am. We will head down there at once. I'll show you what makes our team one of the best." Stepping away from Xoia, she approached her men. "Alright, listen up. We have our first orders. We will be heading down to the surface to begin training maneuvers to better acquaint ourselves with each other. Let's show Captain Reyes why we are some of the best the First Order has to offer. Load and let's go."
The Death Troopers were quick as the boarded the ship, treating this situation seriously, even as they loaded up. It made Xoia smile that they took their jobs with such dedication. It wasn't even a minute or two before the shuttle lifted off from the hangar bay and departed the Destroyer and headed for their destination on the surface.

As the shuttle carrying the Death Troopers disappeared from sight, Xoia turned her attention to the remaining three that resided nearby. Shifting her helmet, she made her way up to them. As she approached, they saluted her, to which she returned. "At ease. Welcome to Razgriz Squadron. I hope you all have taken the time to look over the craft we will be piloting. I would say its definitely an honor to be brought together for such a duty and to move straight to these crafts. Looking through each of your files, I would say all of us were still ways out of getting a chance to pilot them. So let's make them proud." She looked at each of them before continuing. "I have reviewed each of your records and the training you've all undergone. Impressive to be sure with great dedication to the First Order. However, these files can tell us so much. I look forward to seeing these skills displayed before my eyes. So let's not waste any more time. Lieutenant-Commander Kadel Erass, you will be flying as Razgriz 2. Do you have a callsign you prefer?"
Stepping up and standing to attention, a short-haired, bearded man spoke.
"Yes, ma'am. I wish to be called Vex. I look forward to flying as your wingman."
Xoia nodded as she continued. "Lieutenant-Commander Iayi Brin. You will be flying as Razgriz 3. What about your callsign?"
The only other woman within the group stepped up and stood to attention, her long blonde ponytail flipping behind her with her sharp movements.
"Yes, ma'am. I prefer the moniker Pixy."
Moving to the final person within the group, Xoia's eyes fell upon the dark-skinned human male. "Lieutenant-Commander Vibrek Ondarr, you will be flying as Razgriz 4. Your callsign?"
"You can call me Grimm, ma'am."
Looking among the three, she gave a nod before speaking. "Alright. Vex, Pixy, and Grimm, you all can call me Spitfire." During her review of their files, their callsigns had been noted, each as they had stated. Each of theirs, including her own, had started as a form of insult or joke against them. However, with time, they had all come to own those names and turned their meanings around. Vex had been a talkative person, becoming annoying from time to time, granting him his name. But his skill and dedication turned him into the bane of his enemies. Pixy had received the name from her looks, size, and gender but in time showed how well she could dance across a battlefield as if she was a small fairy. Then came Grimm, someone who always seemed to be down and killing a good time. While friends within his patrol team helped get him out of his funk, he retained the name, making it short for Grim Reaper. Her own had been with her quick outburst to her former flight captain regarding her father. In time, it reflected her flying and fighting style.
She knew they would go far. It was just time for them to mesh as a team and prove themselves to be a force to be reckoned with. "Before we begin, I want to graduate each of you on your promotions. But the work doesn't stop. It's time for each of us to prove that we are worthy of our new positions and ranks. So let's get out there and see how we fly together. Nothing builds a team like practice and maneuvers. Let's hit it."
Each of them acknowledged her words as they put on their helmets and made their way to their ships. Slowly, each of them powered up their craft. After a few minutes, Xoia had each of them report in, verifying they were ready to head out. Once she got the green light, she brought the ship off the ground and began departing the hangar, her team following behind her. In but a few moments, they were clear of the hangar and headed out further into the planet's orbit.

Speeding along throughout the orbit of Aargau, the four TIE Silencers flew in formation, Xoia pushing the ship's capabilities as she led, thus pushing the capabilities of her team. She was sharp and quick in her movements, shifting her direction, patterns, and flying style constantly. There would be many more training sessions ahead of them as they worked on particular formations and styles of attack and defense. However, now was only a moment to fly together and see just how far they could all go when handling these elite crafts alongside each other. By what she could tell, her three squadmates were holding tight to her movements. Their training in the Force had certainly increased their reflexes and instincts, much like her own. She looked forward to reviewing the flight data that was being recorded.
After an hour or so, Xoia decided they had done enough to work on their skills for the day and turned her ship back towards the Valahia. Slowing down, she opened the comms. Well done, guys. Time to call it for the day. Take some time to reflect on the exercise and review the flight data from everyone once I send it out. Other than that, the rest of the day is yours. With that, the four ships entered the hangar of the stealth destroyer, signaling the day's end.

The night went on as Xoia sat within her quarters, reviewing the flight logs of Razgriz Squadron and the Death Troopers. It certainly was a lot of work, being captain of a vessel. She was so used to just following her orders and doing the little bit required of her. Even being a squad captain didn’t require this level of duty. And here she was, after only a few years, promoted to both captain of a specialized vessel and unit, as well as a squad leader and leader of troops for ground operations she led. It was daunting, now that she completed her first day. Thankfully she chose this path in working with each other to build their trust and capabilities as a team.
As she worked, she received a ping on her personal communicator. Answering, a hologram of Vice-Admiral Lurkan appeared. Quickly standing, she gave the vice-admiral a salute.
At ease, captain. I hope all is going well with your new command.
Relaxing, Xoia nodded. "It is, sir. I’ll admit, being in charge in a bigger challenge than I anticipated, but I am fully up for the challenge. We are currently residing over Aargau working on exercises to fully connect with each other. Despite that, we are standing ready for any tasks required of us. I know we’ll need to depart soon and begin our patrols."
Sounds good. I know you’ll do well. Now on to the reason I’m contacting you. After some discussion, your request has been green lit. We are in the process of shuffling a few orders around to speed up the process, but this new patrol fleet will be in operation soon. I’ll keep you updated.
"Thank you, sir for taking the suggestion to heart. I’m more than certain that this fleet will be a valuable asset to the First Order."
As do I. Lurkan out. With that, the hologram faded and Xoia returned to her work, her confidence and certainty growing.

The days went by, turning into a week in a blink of an eye. Every day the teams underwent different maneuvers as Xoia sought to build her crew's capabilities and trust in one another. And by what she could tell, it was working. Response times were always shrinking as each person grew to understand their role better and better and communication was getting clearer and more precise. She knew that soon she'd feel confident in departing Aargau and handling patrol missions.
Razgriz Squadron flew in their formations within orbit, testing reflexes and response times as they went. The skill her pilots had was definitely something worth crediting and their training in the Force only further aided them. It made their growth much faster. Already they had developed a few maneuvers they could use in battle and had gotten them down well enough. At this point, it was just typical practice.
As they flew, Xoia's comm went off. Activating it, she heard Lieutenant Vilrein.
Captain. Our sensors are picking up a distress signal from a First Order supply convoy. It seems they are being attacked by a small pirate group and the escorts have been taken out in a surprise ambush. Should we intercept?
Lieutenant, upload the coordinates to us, and prepare to make the jump to lightspeed. Let's help our brothers out. It was but a few moments that the coordinates came through and she opened the comms to her pilots. Alright, listen up. We have just received a distress call from a supply convoy that's being attacked by pirates. Upload the coordinates and prepare to make the jump. Their escorts are down so we'll need to hit them hard and fast since we'll have no support. One by one the confirmations came through from her team and the Valahia. Once all was ready, Xoia gave the command and the ships jumped to lightspeed.

Aargau. If it could be grouped with that of Ralltiir, Brentaal IV, and Muunilinst, it could become a purse worlds system to rival that of Cato Neimodia. Still, Aargau was a financial powerhouse behind the Imperial nation and the continued stability of the Galactic Credit. Augmented by rare minerals and precious metals, the Bank of Aargau was a centerpiece for both civilian and military enterprises. In fact, Aargau had a massive stake in Koros Starship Industries and Emerald Heavy Shipworks, two major subsidiaries of Imperial Fleetworks Ltd within the military. Their money helped finance the two ventures, alongside some investment from Ralltiir and Brentaal bankers and merchant clans. Hence why many would see employees, executives, and other personnel of these two companies visiting the world often to deposit money, withdraw, and check on their accounts.
