You insult the work and by association anyone who might enjoy it. This is not the moral high ground you're looking for. Also, the Dresden Files is an American series, and fantasy rather than science fiction. Not sure why you lump it under the same category as Doctor Who.
Of course, one merely needs to look at your own history of recommendations to see that you haven't the foggiest idea at what qualifies as good literature.
