Already mildly inebriated, Sarazen probably didn't need anymore alcohol, but he was never one to look a gift bissop in the jaws. He reached out and took the offered beverage, taking a sip of fruity hard liquor and savouring the way it burned the inside of his throat on its way down, less potent than sparkbee honey but with a greater burn to it. He smacked his thin lips, crooked teeth clacking together, then handed the bottle back.
"Not bad at all." While it was frowned upon by his superiors during the course of his involvement in the war, the Intendant had sampled more than his fair share of infidel spirits, though he never had the pleasure of trying tihaar. Domain Yin hadn't been directly involved in the attack on Mandalore. Wet-work and espionage was their specialty, neither of which were wanted by the warrior caste who were all too happy to indulge in a straight on battle with the T-visored warriors. He sat back, considering Zotu's words about Force users. "The warrior caste always respected the Jedi, as they seemed worthy warriors themselves. Myself, well, my domain took a somewhat different stance. After the war we aligned ourselves with a shadow group known only as the Organization, whose sole goal was the eradication of all Force users. I've read the history of this galaxy. A great many of its major conflicts were fought between one faction of Force user against another. It has caused quite a bit of damage. I failed to see the irony, given that my own people destroyed our home galaxy without even sharing a connection to the Force. I like to think my understanding has evolved a bit since then. From my more recent and certainly more educated point of view, the Force really is no different than any other tool, like dovin basals or an amphistaff. In the wrong hands, such things can always be used towards ill effect."
They were beginning to close in on the settlement, a few nautical knots away by this point. The former Executor slipped his legs over the dilating opening of the hatch sphincter near the centre of the vangaaks back. "Come on, let's get inside. We need to descend from here. You'll see why shortly." He then slipped into the hole and dropped a few feet to the hard veiny coral floor below.
