*As I moved I felt the pull upon the fabric of the force, the energy that resided and flowed in the room and around me was warped and drawn in, essentially sucked up like a hoover. It was a version of drain or absorb like I had not witnessed before and the fact of the matter was that not only was this a power that was beyond my abilities but also I knew it to be a difficult power to control and Master let alone perform whilst in combat. The ease in which my opponent did so was frightening.
He became a blur, his outline became hazy as quite horribly he bent the force to his will, forcing it into his designs, I closed my eyes for they could not serve me now but as a distraction, sense was all I needed, the pooling of the force within exploded now, a crude attempt at congealing the photons of light and then blasting them forth, my free left hand the focal point for the extreme, rapid and slightly rusty use of force flash.
It had notably been some years, several in fact and although the memory of practicing and practicing again the power seemed a lifetime ago; standing before Trelife Rite, a man whose interest in developing and testing the force and pushing its powers and limits was well known to me, at the time I had of course known no better, and Trelife's devotion to what I could only describe as perfection eventually drove him down a darker more clouded path.
Regardless the rudimentary fairly basic application of the power was stored within my brain, the very moment I had used it against Darth Annhilus and later my own Father turned Sith Lord Kiero Rancis, that being some eight years ago, it had not been since that I had called upon this manifestation of the light side.
It was as though my body were not my own, the force accelerating through me, a brief explosion of light, bright to the point where I could see the colour change behind lidded eyes, then the flash had gone.
The performance of the power coincided with a natural movement of my thumb onto the activation stud, causing my weapon to shut down and so pass through where his sword had been, my arm traveled faster then preordained and I twisted and to my right, my right arm drawn under me as I fell to the floor lashing out with my left leg at the backs of his knees.
For now pain did not grip me, but that did not mean I had come out unscathed, only time would tell.*
