The heavens opened up, and there was nothing but rain. More rain than I had ever seen before. In an instant, my clothes were soaked. It was alot of fucking rain.
As the mandalorian dropped his shield into his hand and moved his arm to throw, I knew that the time had come. I had been patient until this point, but the Force was urging me on now.
Simultaneously, both of my arms raised up, directed at the mandalorian. The Force was teeming around me, and I was its conduit. As the mandalorian released his shield in my direction, torrents of Force energy erupted from my hands. I could feel the lengths of Force stretching out in the air in front of me, batting away the shield in mid-air as the disc toppled away. It wasn't a Push, but it was a channeling of the Force that stretched forward and cleared anything in it's path.
When I could feel the Force energy expanding towards the mandalorian, I closed my hands in a vice-like grip, telekinetically commanding the Force to wrap around both of the mandalorian's wrists simultaneously. I raised my hands up, in what would be my attempt to grasp the mandalorian by the wrists with as much strength as I could muster, and lift him into the air, effectively taking away his ability to use his hands in any way while he raised up, ten feet, twenty feet, thirty feet into the sky, closer to the heavens and just holding him there in a vice-like grip.
There was a fundamental relationship between the rain that was pouring relentlessly from the sky and one other thing...
Lightning.
My gambit was risky, but I would soon see if it would pay off. If the storm was going to crash down upon us, then I was going to make good use of it by turning the mandalorian into a lightning rod.
It was the mandalorian's choice to wear so much heavy metal armor. And if this worked as it should, it would be his downfall.

The storm broke almost the same instant that Trull released the shield from his hand, and something galvanized inside him. The jetiise loved to use their magic at a distance, stay at a distance, keep their hands clean - even the jetii'kad was a bloodless weapon, one that required no strength to wield. This one had attempted to stay far away from him thus far, yet now had stopped retreating and simply waited. Did he want Trull to charge at him? Perhaps he did. Perhaps the magician had a plan to attack Trull with his magic.
Well, then, Trull would charge - but not how he was expected to charge.
The shield had barely covered three feet before Trull had dived forward and to his left. He landed in a roll, and as he came back to his feet, still carrying Hiro's staff, he charged straight at the man - just as Hiro's arms began to raise.

It seemed as though the mandalorian was trying to throw me off by moving slightly to his left. Who did he think he was... Han Solo as performed by Peter Griffin? It struck me as odd that he had changed his position, because that wouldn't change my attack in the slightest.
He also must not have realized that my arms were already raised before he had even let go of his shield, and the Force was already flowing through me as the disc flew through the air.

Well I am not going to beat around the bush.
Congrats HIRO!
Now for the boring part of my job.
Hiro you did a good job of setting the pace of the duel and controlling it early on forcing Scotrull to come after you. You kept creating distance, stopping for some very nice back and forth banter and forcing your opponent to come to you; not the other way around. Now you did come close to calling a hit but close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades, but keep an eye on that in your future duels. That finishing move, or rather the last post you made was a tough one and it was perfectly executed. Now your comments while extremely amusing from one point of view from another they could be misconstrued as snarky and patronizing. Just food for thought.
Both of you did a great job of staying IC and not really straying from the character you presented from the get go.
Scotrull my only real concern is the way that you stopped on a dime, now yes I understand that Mandos are like the bomb diggity bomb and train like hell in this stuff. Ill use an example, a vehicles breaks dont stop a vehicle right away nor can it turn on the spot while going full speed. Beskar'gam is heavy even if it isnt Beskar and such feats of agility would be hard to do. Now it was not all bad like I said you stayed true to your character and your attacks were well thought out but in the end Hiro out thought you.
Good job and I hope to see you both back in the arenas real soon.
