I manage to keep a straight, mildly stern and ever-so slightly disapproving and concerned face as Will, electing to act immediately on my request, enlists Mike's aid in so doing. Smiling with a shake of my head after the dynamic duo have boarded the YT-2400, I linger a moment after the ship has departed, my smile fading as I feel suddenly certain that this was the last time that I will ever see Will or Mike. The certainty fades almost as soon as it surfaces, and as Ashla, when I close my eyes and focus to gently prod Her for any hint that the brief sensation had been a forewarning of some kind, gives me no indication that either of the Corellians is in any danger, I dwell on it no longer.
As I begin to make my way across the hangar to return to the academy's interior, I am notified by a member of the hangar crew that we are about to have a visitor, and so turn around and set out to where Riddick was directed to land his E-wing near to where the transport he is escorting has been directed.

After taking the "scenic route" around the planet, Riddick in his E-Wing and the transport he was escorting made for the base leg of the approach, and called into the academy's own ATC terminal to begin the final leg.
Tower, Baker One Actual. Baker flight is thirty minutes out, flight size of two, both craft are code 1. Requesting clearance to land. How copy?

The academy's ATC terminal replies promptly, having been expecting Riddick's arrival after being contacted by the CDF's planetary traffic control officer, Clearance granted Baker One Actual. After giving Riddick instructions on where his fighter and the transport he escorts can set down, the terminal crew member adds, Master Roma has been informed of your arrival and will be on hand to meet you once you've set down. Welcome back to Corellia, Tower out.
Watching as the hangar crew directs Riddick and the transport he escorts to their landing berths, I make my way over to Riddick's fighter as the hangar crew scurries about to help with any post-flight routines or maintenance that either ship might require, and wait until Riddick exits his fighter to greet him with an informally warm bow, saying, "It is good to see you, as always, Riddick. Canting my head to the side at an inquisitive angle, recalling that Riddick is not often inclined to waste time with idle chatter, I ask with a bemused smile to off-set the shift from greeting to learning what has prompted his visit, To what do we owe this unexpected pleasure?"

After setting down, Riddick disembarks from his fighter, and the handful of lead R&D, engineers and technicians from the transport. Riddick disengages his helm from the rest of his EVA garb, and then removes it as he approaches Serrin.
Raising his hand in a friendly gesture, as is a custom among his people, he addresses her with an equally warm smile. "It does me good to see you again, Serrin Roma." Jae pauses for a moment before he answers her question as to what brought him to Corellia. "I am here with some of the best I have in mechanics and production. With all the racket this First Order has been causing, we have thought it best to try and up our advantage over these over dramatic pissants, starting with what we use, such as fighters, ships, and whatever else have you. We've come to talk with elements friendly to our cause, and that of the Jedi and what remains of the old Republic. I do not suppose you would know who else might wish to lend an ear to our proposals, eh?"

My left lekku swishes to curl around the outside of my hip as, after Riddick has explained what has brought him here, I purse my lips somberly while giving the matter some thought before replying, "Our Grandmaster, Aerandir Calmcacil, would undoubtedly be quite interested in your proposals Riddick. Having become, of late, more involved in my role as an educator, I am less able to address the matter of who among the leadership of the Alliance than others in the Order, and so add, He would also be better able than I to suggest who would be best to speak with among the Alliance and other entities opposed to the First Order."
Imagecaster technology making communication between planets a simple enough matter, I suggest, "Would you like me to see if I can arrange a meeting via imagecaster with Grandmaster Calmcacil while you are here?"

Imagecaster technology making communication between planets a simple enough matter, I suggest, "Would you like me to see if I can arrange a meeting via imagecaster with Grandmaster Calmcacil while you are here?" "I would honestly prefer a face-to-face discussion. Even with all our technology and efforts to keep it all from prying eyes, getting face time with a person is still reasonably more secure... and certainly more honest. I would speak with him, and see if he can not get the rest of the posse together and let us settle differences, and how to relegate the First Order to not even a footnote of historia obscura." Clear, by the tone of his voice, that he had no love for anything despotic. The First Order fell well into that category, no matter how rosy the language they used to portray themselves. Conformity only goes so far, and strength was from coming together, combining different aptitudes and abilities in freedom, rather than making everything equally the same under the jackboot of force. Riddick was also well aware that his world's technological standard had drawn the immutable ire of many, as did their fighting style. Sadly, though, some from whom the ire came were on his side of the fence, though that, he thought, was correctable. It did still bring a smile to his face to consider that what he was effectively doing was trying to organize and raise the standards of the republican forces' standards in tech, logistics, combat readiness, and so many other forces enough to not only exasperate the forces of the FO and their friends into reckless action, but diminish them as considerably as possible, as quickly as reasonable. If his world could shoulder a consider brunt of warfare and still come out in the natives' hands, that was worth sharing.

I smile with a nod, realizing that I should have anticipated that Riddick would be more comfortable with a face to face meeting than with an imagecaster conference, "Of course. Pursing my lips in thought, I muse aloud, A pity you had not arrived just a but sooner; I have actually just sent Master Sontir and Mike Frantz to meet with our Grandmaster on Felucia. Arching an eyebrow in thought, I say, Still, your journey need not be entirely in vain, the Corellian Defense Force has ties with the Alliance, so a meeting with one of their leaders to discuss how you and yours might aid in the struggle against the First Order might prove fruitful, hmmm? Nodding, I call to mind the CDF leaders that have worked with our academy in the past and suggest, Admiral Biancardi with the CDF has always proven open minded in the past, Shall I invite her here to the academy to meet with you?"

"If you would, please, and I do not mind waiting for the other masters and grandmasters. I know it is a meeting of short notice, and as such, I am more trying to cultivate interest before I discuss with the others what exactly I intend to set up between alliance worlds, and the few we have in the outer rim alliances. I do, however, thank you for setting things in motion on such short notice."

"Of course, I reply with a smile after Riddick has made his thoughts on my suggestion clear. Gesturing towards the doors leading from the hangar into the academy proper, I begin leading the way towards them while saying, I trust you still remember your way around the academy, so why don't you avail yourself of the opportunity to freshen up or relax after your journey while I reach out to the CDF and our Grandmaster? In fact, I believe the very quarters you occupied when last you were here are available at present."
After accompanying Riddick to the quarters he will have available to him for the duration of his stay, I excuse myself so that I can contact the CDF and Aerandir to extend the invitation for them to come meet with Riddick, letting Riddick know that I will notify of when either or both parties have replied, and remind him that our academy's protocol droid, affectionately known as "Pee", is available to him should he have need of anything in my absence.

"That I do... though it has been a hot minute since I have been here." Riddick looked around, reacquiring his bearings. "I will take it from here, Serrin, and thank you for your help on such short notice." Riddick makes his way to the available quarters after they part ways.

Luon So's hands were still shaking slightly from the anxiety of guiding a ship through Corellian air traffic for the first time, the Punworcca 116-class Interstellar Sloop shaking slightly as she brought it into the hanger and began slowly lowering it down onto the designated landing zone at a painfully slow pace. Wincing in anticipation of the impact, she finally relaxed just in time for the struts of the craft to hit the hanger's surface with surprising force, startling her slightly as her heart jumped in her slender chest. Letting out a breath that she hadn't realized she had been holding, Luon So vowed to spend some time in a flight simulator before actually flying the sloop again so that she would be better prepared for the experience. Rising from the pilot's chair, she cinched the previous pilot's belt and holster tight around her waist, the leather still hanging loosely on her hips as she slide the Westar-34 Blaster Pistol into place and snapped the security strap over it. She then grabbed the now mostly bloodless Force Pike from where she had leaned it against one wall after cleaning it and, using the eight foot long weapon as a walking stick, opened the hatch and stepped out onto the ramp before looking around the hanger as the bustling ground crew. She wasn't exactly sure where to go from here, but hopefully the Corellian PTC had sent word ahead of her and if she was lucky someone from the Academy might meet her shortly. For now she simply stood on the ramp of the sloop, looking thoroughly lost and out of place in the Academy's hanger.

Corellian PTC had indeed sent word ahead about their visitor. Since Jared happened to be on "meet and greet" duty today he arrived just after the mystery ship landed. Having no idea who was landing it didn't take long for the 34 year old Jedi Knight to find the very lost and out of place Kaminoan. Armed and wary looking he could feel ripples of unease and uncertainty coming off of her in droves. There was a history here, and not a pleasant one if he was to guess. Putting that all aside however he approaches the newcomer and offers a short bow and a wide smile that reaches the whole way to his emerald green eyes, he really did enjoy meeting new and interesting people after all. My name is Jared Flint, I heard you were looking for Jedi Aide, what can the Order do to help you?

As she was greeted by Jared Luon So bowed in a typical show of Kaminoan graciousness and respect, although there was a slight wobbliness to the motion due to her having not yet performed such a gesture on her new prosthetic legs. Straightening back up with the barest hints of a smile, she spoke. "Thank you for your time Master Flint. My name is Luon So; I recently fled my homeworld to avoid execution due to my genetic...abnormalities and was only able to escape death by drawing on what little I know of the Force to overpower my guards and reach one of the ships on a nearby landing pad. I no longer have a home to return to, and know little in the way of skills outside of genetics and cloning which serve little purpose outside of a fairly specific field. If the Order is willing, I should like to study with the Jedi so as to better understand my gifts and hopefully acquire skills with which I can survive on my own away from my people. I hate to ask so much of the order, and with nothing to offer in terms of compensation, but I fear that the Administrators may seek to return me to Tipoca City against my will to face execution and I don't know who else to turn to..." Her voice was calm and all but devoid of emotion, as was typical of her kind, yet a storm of fear, frustration, anger, and uncertainty raged about her in the Force unrestrained by the untrained Force user. An attentive observer might also notice how tightly she gripped the shaft of her Force Pike, an uncharacteristic tell of her emotional state for a Kaminoan even if it appeared subtle to those of other cultures.

Despite the Kaminoan's calm words the Jedi Knight could clearly feel the underlying emotions emanating from her through the force. It was good she had come when he did, those sort of emotions could quickly lead someone down a very dark path. Returning her bow with a somber expression he nods at the completion of her tale. A mandate of the Order is to help people such as yourself find their path. We aren't in any of this for the money. He chuckles slightly. So there is no need to worry about compensation and you would not be the first to claim asylum among us. Now for your knowledge and talents I feel like you might be a natural with the healing arts, although I would understand if you wanted to start off with something farther from your memories of home. He leaves the last statement open, allowing her to make her own choice on that front. The Academy of Corellia and it's association with the Five World's Medical Center on Selonia had produced some of the finest Jedi Healers the Jedi Order had seen and it would certainly play to her strengths, but not everyone wanted memories of their past life, especially if it was as troubled as her journey seemed to be. In any case the Order, and certainly Jared himself, wasn't in the habit of forcing people down a certain path. They were guides along the path, and hopefully they could help this troubled soul with her journey through the Force.

Luon So nodded, the faint smile still on her face as she spoke, her grip on the force pike relaxing slightly as it became clear that she had found sanctuary. "Thank you none the less for your kindness and generosity Master Flint. My kind are not the most outgoing of races and I am well aware of the fact that many find our emotional coldness to be...unsettling, to say the least. I am not accustomed to receiving such favorable treatment without having done something to merit it. As for your suggestion, I must admit that I have very little in the way of practical medical knowledge; I specialized in the shaping and manipulation of DNA, and while I could certainly identify all sorts of information from a mere sample or string together the genetic sequences of entire new species little of what I know has direct applications to actual medicine." There was almost a faint sense of pride in how she spoke of her skills; an intonation formed by years of dedication to a craft and the success that came with such specialization. "None the less, I do agree that such a path would likely make the most sense for me. The medical arts are the closest branch of knowledge to my specialty, and perhaps if I knew more about medicine and how the body's reconstructive functions work I could find a way to remedy genetic abnormalities such as bacta allergies. I do have one request, however..." She paused for a moment to decide on how to best phrase her request. "...I don't just want to study the healer's arts. I want to be able to defend myself properly should I find myself in such a situation again. My escape was...messy and it was only due to the fact that my captors were unaware of my connection to the Force that I succeeded. I want to be prepared next time..."

The human Knight pulled out a datapad with a smile and offered it out to Luon So. Before we go too far though I would like to point out tat there is no need to Call me master. I have not earned that title and am just a Knight, so Jared will do fine. Gesturing with the datapad he continues. This is a standard set of information we give to anyone who comes here to train. It has a room assignment for you, as well as helpful information about where things are and what is available to you. Included in it is a comm code to reach me, I'll be your liaison for the first week or so if there is anything you need don't hesitate to call, day or night. As I'm sure you can understand we don't have very many Kaminoan visitors here so if there are any modification you need to your quarters to make them more livable just let us know. We aren't a luxury suite or anything, but we would prefer you at least be relatively comfortable. He chuckles a little again before switching to a more serious tone. As for your request that can also be arranged. I am in fact one of our combat instructors and would happily work with you on lightsaber combat or even He gestures at her weapon. That pike if you would prefer. A hint of pride creeps through his voice as he talks about combat training as that is his specialty but at the same time is concerned about going too in depth in the ways of violence given her past and the untrained nature of her powers. That sort of aggression could have a negative effect on her training, but with proper training it might also make her more comfortable with her situation. It was a fine line to walk and he hoped that he was up for the challenge. For now though it would probably be best for you to get settled. I am sure you could use a safe rest about now. Tommorrow if you get the chance go down to the infirmary, I'll tell Master Hedreghar to expect you. He'll be your instructor in the art of healing, just as I will be for your combat training for now. Eventually we'll want to pair you up with someone to help with your general training in the ways of the force but for now the Master and I will do our best to guide you along.

Having handled the request from orbital control to permit a shuttle escort to the academy, Jedi Knight Hyatt Ashton naturally enough felt as though welcoming the visitor upon landing was in order.
Tall and broad shouldered with a boxer's muscular build that even his loose fitting tunic and hooded outer robe cannot quite conceal, Hyatt reaches up to gather his long mane of blonde hair into a ponytail as he enters the academy hangar, his blue eyes searching for a member of the crew to ask which landing berth the visitor will be escorted to, and once he has learned the location sets out for it.
Possessed of a cheerful, regal, leonine face, Hyatt moves with a feline grace despite his size, and soon arrives at the landing bay the visitor will be directed to, and clasps his hands behind his back as he patiently awaits the visitor's arrival.

Luon So nodded her head slightly in acknowledgement of Jared's correction regarding his title. "My apologies Knight Flint; I was unaware of the distinction. I shall be sure to remember that." Taking the datapad, she flipped it on and began skimming the information it contained out of the bottom edge of her vision as she continued her conversation with Jared, a skill honed by years of experience interacting with others while she worked on her projects. "Thank you; if I require any accommodations or adjustments to my living quarters I shall be sure to notify you. As for weapons training..." Glancing at her pike as the conversation shifted, she continued. "...While I carry this weapon I have no experience with it. I think that it would be best if I tried a variety of weapons under your guidance to find one which is best suited to me. I do enjoy the reach provided by such a weapon, but there is still much that I do not know about war and I do not wish to jump to any conclusions. For now, however, I must agree with you; recent weeks have been tiring, and I should like to begin my training with a properly rested mind and body. Thank you again for your assistance Knight Flint." With that Luon So gave another bow before taking her leave of the hanger and following the directions on the datapad towards her new living quarters.

[ Ruubin Tanser | Bridge | Bantha-class assault shuttle, Midnight Seven | Hangar Bay | Jedi Academy | Corellia ] Attn: @kaiyaordo“Control, this is Midnight Seven” said Ruubin Tanser on an open comm to the Jedi Academy's Bay Control, “I'm just going to run a pre-flight test, no launch actual, over.”“Acknowledged, Midnight Seven. Over.” Was the response. Returning to his work, the Alliance veteran began running diagnostics and a pre-launch check of all systems. The primary hyperdrive seemed to be shaky, but the back-up was ready to go at a moment's notice. Still, he ought to have the hyperdrive looked at, unless he wanted to end up in some different timeline again. Many wondered at how his youth was maintained, but he'd simply jumped over several years, an experience he didn't intend to repeat, considering that was about when Ami-Lee had disappeared, and he always couldn't help but wonder if he'd been there, whether she'd be still free and safe from the Empire, then the First Order. Now he had no idea. His stray thoughts were interrupted by an urgent blinking red light on his comm console, indicating a long distance pre-recorded message encrypted for his eyes alone.
He inputted the necessary codes then played the message, and his eyes widened. He recognized the HRD speaking. Gina was Jaime's companion, but she was using codenames, meaning they were active again, but also in great need.“Blast, Jaime, what've you gotten yourself into now?” He made a copy of the message and its intel and shut down the shuttle, flagging down the technicians to have a urgent look at the hyperdrives. The Alliance had a squadron of commandos due to accompany him on a patrol mission and investigate a contested planet. But he needed to help his brother in law too. His best bet was to ask for help directly from the Jedi allies. They had to have someone that they could send with him. He had the feeling that he couldn't do this alone, and not even with the Crimson Commandos.
He didn't have to go far before he saw someone that might be a Jedi, and he approached the person from behind, “Pardon me, ma'am, but could you spare me a moment of your time, please? I have an urgent matter and require immediate assistance.”

Though she and her twin had been apart for quite some time before their all too brief reunion not long ago, the feeling that, now that Ellie has been named allit'alor of Clan Ordo and has taken up residence on Manda'yaim, she is missing one half of herself has yet to leave Kaiya, or to at least lessen. While Ellie never truly left her Mandalorian heritage behind, Kaiya has embraced becoming a Jedi so fully that her people would no doubt now consider her dar'manda; a characterization that, were it not for the fact that to be a Jedi one must leave their past behind.
With the enclave on Endor abandoned, the Jedi Shadows in disarray after the disappearance of Zalor and the attacks on other members of their ranks by an unknown assassin, Kaiya came to Corellia's Jedi temple; at first simply to regroup and regain her sense of equilibrium and purpose now that she walks the path of a Jedi without her twin beside her, and, later, to resume her training to become a Jedi Knight.
While not a requirement, learning to pilot a starfighter is something that Kaiya elected to undertake along with her other training so that, when the time comes for her take on missions for the Order, she will not need to rely on public transportation or pilot droids to get her around the universe. Kaiya has just finished her latest lesson, and is walking towards the doors leading from the hangar to the academy proper when she hears someone speaking from behind her.
Turning, her flight helmet tucked under her left arm, to see who is being asked for help, Kaiya arches an eyebrow when it seems that she is the one being asked for it given that no one else is around to be asked other than her. Pointing at the life support box worn over her flight suit's flak vest, Kaiya asks in a bewildered tone, "Who? Me? Her brows furrow as Kaiya tilts her head to the side at an inquisitive angle, the man addressing her seeming somehow familiar to her, and then straightens her shoulders and tries to sound less baffled and more like a Jedi padawan preparing to face the trials of Knighthood, What kind of assistance is it you require? Her attempt to conduct herself with the dignity and calm resolve she has admired in her Master as well as many other Jedi Knights falters only slightly as Kaiya lifts a hand and, to ensure there is no misunderstanding, says, I have yet to face my Trials, but, she glances around to see if she recognizes any of the academy's Knights or Masters that would probably be more in line with who the man is seeking, if you let me know what you need assistance with, I can point you in the right . . . trailing off, Kaiya suddenly smiles a mildly perplexed smile and asks, Sorry, but have we met before? You just look familiar for some reason."
