For Nihriya, I think I'd have to go with someone like Olga Kurylenko

For Phantom, I would pick Jared Padalecki He would need the scars that Phantom has, and then silver hair or bald The runes would need to be added but his structure is the same as Phantom, tall and not a meathead, instead cut and tone

Who is the most charasmatic? I think of Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction, but he's already in Star Wars, if you choose to acknowledge the existence of the prequels (I do not if possible). Morgan Freeman isn't scary enough. Perhaps Jeremy Irons? Yeah, I think he's do, at least for voice.

Do I really have to say? Isn't it obvious? ;-) Shane McGowan? You're thinking of Shane McGowan too? No, Paul Reubens circa Mystery Men. Duh. Could you be farther off?

Well Anson Mount of course for Clark and for Invisus Cliff Simon.
Those of us with stars as avatars kinda already thought about this sort of thing I guess

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. With both hands.
His performance in Oblivion inspired me using the avatar. Feels like a perfect fit.
Also, in the vein of GoT, Peter Dinklage should definitely be Adi. He's the perfect height.

Seros started out as me with Sephiroth-esque hair, believe it or not...then I used Statham's pic to expound on what Seros' body type would be, given his martial prowess... ....since that point, I couldn't get Statham out of my head. I even write him with the accent now. So that's obvious. For Garrek, I can't think of anyone better to use than Paul Walker. (..sorry Frantz. lol) For Serin (my baddie Zabrak acolyte), I'd probably use Cyril Raffaelli, because he's small, wiry and cut, and wicked fast on his feet. EDIT: ..Actually, I just thought of Justin Timberlake without the short cropped hair for Garrek. There Frantz, you can have Paul back.

Orfao is Jet-Li. No one else can be.
Ashrah would be Chopper era Eric Bana, or Eric Bana from Star Trek.
Inks...shit. Um........*insert 10 minutes of thinking* ......Ray Stevenson with proper makeup.

As many of you know from my numerous (like, VERY numerous) avatar changes, I simply cannot find a proper actress for Malora. So far, the only one in mind that I seem to write best with is Megan Fox, which is unfortunate given her utter lack of talent and her bimbo-ditz status. But there it is. She does the 'screw off or pay for it' decently, and her looks (pre plastic surgery, of course) and the tone of her voice are pretty spot on. Haters can shove it. For my main alt, Lishra Elaric , Nina Dobrev is a perfect match. This is odd for me; I've never ever had a character that fit so well with one particular actress or actor. And I have seven other alts that have not made it to the new JvS site yet. This was a fun idea, Dav, thanks for posting it.

Hm. Ade, I can't remember if I read (or replied to) the topic when you posted it a while back. But this is a good question.
As my avatar would suggest, I'm quite partial to Tommy Flanagan. I think he has the right kind of grizzled, veteran face for Fel. However, He wasn't my first inspiration for the character. Many, many years ago, I saw a movie that fundamentally changed the way I look at the world. I thought of it, held it up as the golden standard by which all other (sci-fi) films would be measured, and sought its equal for almost twenty years.
The film was Mad Max 2. Though Fel often does talk quite a lot, I've always looked at Mel Gibson's twenty lines of dialogue as a tour de force. That he carries that film on so little dialogue is astonishing. He is absolutely electric to watch in MM2. Mel Gibson (in that role, and that role alone, c. 1981) is what I think of when I think of Fel. I can't use a Max pic as my avatar (too iconic) but in my mind, Fel is the Man with No Name.

I have to say, if any actor were to take Arcanus/Alpharius' place... It would have to be Michael Fassbender.

Man, I have read over this thread numerous times, trying to think of someone who would fit the personality of Kurayami as well as his physical type. I see alot of people say that they had a vague idea, or even a solid image in mind as to who would represent the character well. After talking with Sinistra though she mentioned Alex Petteyfer, and after looking at him I have to say that other than perhaps his accent, he is quite close, just cut the hair back to an eighth of an inch and there ya go.
