Folding her hands in front of her face, her elbows resting on the arm of the chair, Ice pursed her lips while listening to Ja'Sean explain that they may likely need to meet again later on to finalize the arrangement. He stated his belief that they needed more to join the cause, a strength in numbers sort of thing. He apparently had more places, planets and governments, in mind that he needed to visit as well. Raising an eyebrow, Ice couldn't say she disagreed with the idea. Maybe if Honoghr had had more allies in the past then maybe a few of the past attacks would've never happened, or at the very least wouldn't have been as devastating as they were.
Nodding her head in agreement, she smiled politely when he said he would take his leave to continue with his uniting endeavors and in the mean time he would leave her means of contacting him. "Of course I agree that strength in numbers will be beneficial to everyone involved, or soon to be involved, and I'm glad that you still considered Honoghr even though Adieumus is gone....and I will also give you means to contact me if need be."Reaching into the desk, she took out a small holocard with a secured commlink frequency on it. Standing up she handed the card to him then folded her arms across her chest. "It has been a pleasure to meet you Mr. Raddekh and I'm happy that this meeting has been productive. Until we meet again, that is a private secured comm frequency should you need it." She smiled again gesturing toward the card before giving a polite respectful bow to Ja'Sean. Jae took the card and connected it to his own personal comms device. Within a couple seconds, the devices transferred encryption keys, to ensure that any communications they sent would be understood by both, and illegible to all others. Encryption cyphers use by both parties were different, and Jae made sure of it for many reasons. However, he had made sure that there was at least one cypher he'd be willing to share with friends and allies for diplomatic communications. He handed back the card, with his link on it for Ice to use when she needed.Honoghr was to be considered in spite of Adieumus presence, or lack there of. He spoke highly of you, personally, and you all have among the most reputable medical groups in the known galaxy. Even my own doctors admire, talented as they are. Duty does call, however, and I must, once again, set to task. My regards to all of your staff, and the Jedi. The stay was pleasant. With a warm smile, he bowed slightly, more nodding from the neck, as he turned and made a brisk exit for his fighter.

Ja'Sean had taken the card and added the information to his own comm device before handing it back to Ice with his own comm link encryption added to it for her to use if needed. She couldn't help but feel a certain sense of pride when he said that Honoghr had been been considered with or without Adieumus' presence since Adi had spoken highly of her in the past. Ja'Sean had also complemented the RDMC and it's staff, acknowledging that it was one of the best medical centers in the known galaxy. Nodding in agreement, she gave a short bow and thanked him again before he took his leave the door swishing softly behind him when he left the office.
After sitting back down in her chair and taking a drink of the now luke-warm caf, the holoscreen beeped with an incoming message from the reception desk. With a deep sigh, Ice pushed a button on the console and read the message. Apparently there was a Yuuzhan Vong, by the name of Shedo Anor wishing to speak with her. 'A Yuuzhan Vong? What the hell is a Yuuzhan Vong doing on Honoghr to begin with, and what does he want?' She wondered silently, her eyes narrowing a bit as she re-read the message and typed a quick response to Betsy at the reception desk. The question of what a Vong was doing on the planet, and what he wanted, was about to be answered....

With his Chiss Guards close by, Shedo continued on his way towards Ice's office, still trying to get used to the sterile environment that was the RDMC. He stopped outside the door leading into Ice's office, before one of the Chiss guards pushed the buzzer button to let Ice know that they had arrived, since Shedo still cringed a little when he had to interact with machinery. Perhaps one day he might feel somewhat more comfortable around all of this, but until then, he would just have to smile and bear it

Within a few moments of sending her reply to Betsy, the beeping of the office door alerted Ice to the arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong. She had been standing by the window overlooking the gardens of the RDMC, caf mug in hand, when the door sounded. Turning, she looked at the holomonitor on her desk and saw that Shedo was flanked by two of Becca's Chiss guards. Raising an eyebrow, she moved over to the desk and studied the images for a moment then pressed a button on the console allowing the door opened with a gentle swish so the trio could enter the room.
"Welcome, gentlemen." She spoke politely with a short bow to all three of them. She knew why the guards were with him, and didn't question their presence. It was always better to be safe than sorry and she was thankful that Becca and Wilhelm paid excellent attention to details in their security protocols. Carefully setting the mug on the edge of her desk, she met Shedo's gaze with a half smile.
"I'm Ice Matango. Its good to meet you, Shedo. May I call you Shedo, or is there another name you would like me to address you by?" She paused for a moment to give him time to answer, and to gather her own thoughts, before continuing on. "I'm afraid I know very little of your people except what I've read in history holos and books, and we all know how unreliable those sources can be sometimes. If I say or do anything that offends you then please, by all means, let me know about it."
Her tone was polite and level as she held his gaze, finding it intriguing, and maybe a bit unsettling, that she couldn't sense him through the Force. She had heard the stories that the species couldn't be sensed using the Force but having never met one face to face before, she found the sensation of it a little odd. She didn't think he was here to harm anyone. If he had been, surly he would've tried something by now - though being stripped down to his basic essential clothing, and with no weaponry to speak of, she highly doubted he was here to cause trouble. She would hear him out, but before she did she felt it was prudent to give him a little insight about herself first.
"I am no politician and I'm not always the most well spoken kind of person, but I do try to be honest in my words and deeds. I'm not hard to get along with as long as people are upfront about their intentions.
With that said, what brings you to Honoghr?" She asked with a genuine curiosity that could be seen in her face and heard in her words.

The Chiss Guards had taken up positions on either side of the door just inside of the office, giving a quick salute to Ice as she greeted them, whilst Shedo gave a low, formal bow to Ice in response, before taking a seat in front of her desk. He gave a polite shake of his head as she asked if he had a prefered name that she should call him by, after all, now was not the time for formality Shedo is perfectly acceptable... He then listened intently as she continued on, noting her distrust of history books and her honest wish to not offend him due to her lack of experience with the Yuuzhan Vong. He gave a curt nod as she explained her situation and made it clear what her expectations were, which were reasonable enough considering the situation they were in Politics is indeed not my realm of expertise either, it is a sullied craft for those whom wish to hide behind false pretenses. Truth is a commodity far more valuable than any precious gem this galaxy could ever produce. To that end, I shall delay my explanation no longer: Unlike many of my people, I do not view conquest as the sole path forward. As such, I am here to seek a place to call home and offer my services to others. I know that history hasn't exactly paved a path for trust, and I have little to offer in assurance other than my word, but, perhaps that is enough?

Having sat down in her chair again, with Shedo taking the chair opposite of her, Ice nodded with a smile when he said that calling him by name was acceptable. While he continued speaking, she listened with great interest to what he had to say about politics, the truth, and finally, his reason for being on Honoghr. Silently, she weighed the pros and cons of allowing Shedo to make his home on the planet. The one major con was the fact that he was a Yuuzhan Vong, and even now years after the Yuuzhan Vong War, some people still didn't trust them all that much. Ice, however, was an optimist at heart and was almost always willing to give people a chance to prove their worth. From what she could tell by Shedo's voice and expressions he was being honest and he was willing to provide his services for the people. He didn't think conquest was a way to succeed either, which earned him a measure of respect in Ice's eyes also. She had seen her share of warmongers wanting to conquer others just for the sake of doing it, just to prove they were stronger, and it annoyed the hell out of her. Just because you can do something doesn't always mean you should.
She stowed all of those thoughts in the back of her mind, when he finished speaking, and leaned forward to rest her forearms on the desk as she folded her hands in front of her. "I think we can agree on politics and politicians."
She said with a small chuckle before sitting up a little straighter in her chair and resumed speaking. "I also appreciate your honesty and don't see a reason why you can't make your home here. We have become a melting pot of sorts over the years and many people from different backgrounds and species have come to Honoghr for a fresh start, even some of the Noghri people have returned. The population is nowhere near the ten million inhabitants it once was, before the Trihexalophine1138 poisoning and the Empires interference, but it's been slowly growing and rebuilding over the last century or so."
She paused for a moment, her distaste for that bit of history flashing across her face for a few seconds before disappearing. Meeting Shedos gaze again, she leaned back in her chair a little with a friendly smile. "Thanks to the efforts of Leia Organa Solo and the New Republic in relocating the Noghri people then, and the endeavors of a highly skilled scientific community nowadays....the Clean Lands have been expanding at a slow, but steady rate. In fact, the founder of the RDMC, Dr. Nadia Matrineou, led some of the more recent environmental improvements before her presumed death a few years ago."
Ice knew she was probably giving him an unneeded history lesson, but she felt it prudent that he be informed of the planet that he had chosen to settle on and build a life for himself. That and the fact that she was quite proud, though she rarely showed it outwardly, of the strides that had been made by the doctors and scientist, from then and now, to make Honoghr a livable planet again.
"I believe that your people may have even had a hand in reversing some of the damage done by the THX 1138 poisoning and the Empire, inadvertently of course, but they did invade the planet during the Yuuzhan Vong War and may have possibly terraformed a small portion of the damaged areas. The last bit about the possible terraforming isn't in any history holo to speak of, though reports over the years of patches of lush poison free jungles have been confirmed in some areas outside of the 'clean zones'."
Smiling, with perhaps a bit of embarrassment of being so long winded in her speech, she leaned forward with her forearms on the desk again.
"I'm sorry for going on and on about Honoghr. Most of what I've told you can be found in the history archives anyway, if you wish to look, or you can just ask someone. Now, before I forget....I know that the Yuuzhan Vong tend to look down on technology, and I can respect that, but what exactly is your area of expertise?"

Shedo was glad when she mentioned he would be allowed to stay on Honoghr, before listening to her short history lesson regarding the planet's sickness and slow recovery thanks to the efforts of the New Republic in it's time and now the RDMC. It was quite clear indeed that she felt pride for her home world, all things considered. He maintained his smile, even as she mentioned his people's involvement in Honoghr and the reports of the terraformed sites outside of the clean zones. He gave a nod as she asked her next question, causing him to pause for a moment as he tried to figure out how best to relate his position in the common tongue Do not be sorry, pride in one's home and past in such a situation is an admirable trait, and considering what has been achieved here, it is understandable. Undoubtedly for you and your people, it is a good thing my people did not retain a hold of this world, lest it had been placed under the control of a Dhuryam and used to produce more creatures of war... That aside, I would be most interested in examining these spots, if you would allow me, to ensure nothing unsavoury was left behind that could pose a threat to unwary travellers. As to my area of expertise, it is a difficult concept to describe in your tongue, but I will explain it as best I can. Amongst my people, I am known as a Shaper. Our role is to create and, well, shape all living organisms that the Yuuzhan Vong use. It's kind of like the concept that your people call DNA splicing, but mixed with creating living things for just about any use one could imagine, from replacement organs, anywhere to trash disposal, beasts of war, or even the mighty worldships. So, in some respects, all areas are my expertise...

Ice smiled slightly, silently contemplating his request to look over the sites where the presumed terraforming took place and the explanation of his specialties. She listened, nodding interestedly when he described what a shaper was and what they could do. After he finished, Ice gazed at him thoughtfully while tapping a fingernail a few times on the smooth surface of the desk before folding her hands in front of her.
"Of course you may inspect those areas where the newer parts of the jungles are growing. I don't think the scientists have found anything your people might have left behind, but to be on the safe side we can have them walk you through those zones whenever you're ready."
She paused momentarily, taking a sip of caf from the mug that she'd placed on her desk before Shedo's arrival. Setting the mug down again, and meeting his gaze, she continued. "If everything's okay in those zones, is it possible to expand them?" She asked with genuine curiosity. She knew that a handful of the Yuuzhan Vong had tried to help rebuild and repair some of the damage done by their peoples invasions on some of the planets and wondered if Shedo could possibly do the same for Honoghr. If he could then that would greatly help the scientists in their present and future endeavors in promoting more plant growth and ridding the soil, in some of the still affected areas, of the remnants of the THX 1138 agent.......

Shedo leaned back a little into his seat and steepled his fingers as he considered the woman's proposal with regards to expanding the area's, provided they were indeed found to be free of any harmful biots. He knew of one method to do so, which had come to be know as the Ossus Project, which involved certain terraforming techniques, that would help repair the damage to the planet, assuming that it too didn't end up getting sabotaged. Although, he highly doubted there were any Yuuzhan Vong for a good many systems that had the ability to do so Provided the area's are indeed free of hostile elements, then it would be possible to expand them. Undoubtedly you have heard of the Ossus Project yes? A similar thing could be performed here, though, without the less than desirable sabotaging that happened. Assuming all things went well, Honoghr could be fully healed in about six months, maybe more. Though, understandably, I wont be able to commit to anything until after the survey...

"Yes, I have heard of the Ossus Project. I know that it was ultimately a success until the machinations of the Sith and their sabotage of the project."Ice, although the tone of her own voice didn't show it, tried to not get her hopes up at his words when he confirmed that he could do what she had asked. She knew if there was even the slightest chance that Honoghr could be completely rejuvenated then she had to take it. To finish what Leia Organa, and many years later, Nadia Matrineou and the other scientists had started on Honoghr could mean a new and better change for the planet and it's people if all of the THX agent could be removed.
Leaning forward in her chair a bit, Ice met Shedos gaze. "I know you give no guarantees, Shedo, and I'm not asking for any. I just want this planet to have the chance, even if it's just a slight one, to heal more than it already has. To give the people a hope for bigger and better things to come."

Shedo was well aware of those responsible for the Ossus Project's ultimate failure, which wouldn't be an issue on Honoghr, since there was a strong Jedi presence here from what he knew, and there were no other Yuuzhan Vong that knew of his intention to settle here, so their bases were covered. If he was entirely honest with himself, the Yuuzhan Vong Shaper found some amusement in the idea that he could bring some hope to the people of Honoghr, despite his people's history of causing pain and suffering And I shall give you hope, as best I can. If there is nothing else, then perhaps I should get to work? After all, there is much to be done, and I will need to setup an... arboretum, I believe the word is, to get myself properly setup here...

"Thank you." Ice replied with complete sincerity, and a smile, as she stood up from the chair, never losing eye contact with Shedo.
"There's nothing that I can think of right off hand. Though, you're right, there is much to do. We can talk again, later on, after you're settled in. There's space in the eastern wing of the hospital for your arboretum. Or if you prefer, there's buildings on the outskirts of the city that would be suitable. Anything you need will be at your disposal, just let me know and I'll get it."
There was a spark of excitement in Ice's eyes which was gone in an instant as soon as she folded her arms across her chest and reordered her thoughts. She had to keep in mind that the project might not work out, even with meticulous planning, and that Shedo might not be able to restore the whole planet. "There's no need to rush this project. If it can be done then we need it to be done right....even if it means it takes a little longer than expected. And once again....thank you, Shedo"

Shedo gave a nod of his head, before rising from his own seat as he weighed up the couple options that Ice had presented him with for where he could set himself up. Both locations had their pros and cons, and he would definitely need to tour both locations and weigh up his options before making a decision, but for now he would leave the matter I would never dream of rushing something so important. I will make every effort I can to ensure Honoghr is healed, after all, it is the least I can do to repay you for your kindness. We shall talk again soon, in the meantime I shall have a look around... Shedo then made his way back towards the door and nodded towards the pair of Chiss Guards, who fell in behind him as he left the office. As it stood, they were his only form of transport back up to orbit where his Yorik-et was located, but first he would have a look at the east wing of the RDMC since he was already here

Ice had spent the morning spending time with Lukas, enjoying her sons presence and wide eyed curiosity at the world around him. Each day brought her joy at seeing him explore his surroundings and ask the million and one questions that children usually asked. Eventually, however, she had to go to work as one of the Administrators of the Red Dawn Medical Center. After leaving Lukas in the care of his trusted and capable nanny droid Ursula, she made her way to her office within the RDMC building.
Upon entering her office, she turned on the big holoscreen that was attached to the far wall and adjusted the sound, mainly having it on for background noise while she sat at her desk, fresh cup of mocha caf in hand, and began sorting through some of the invoices for medical supplies. Once that was done Ice finally turned on her datapad to see a few messages, notably one from Diamonte Tuhlute. Having not heard from Monte in some time, she was curious to see what he had to say. Idly swiping a finger over the screen with one hand, while taking a drink from the caf mug with the other, she noticed the message had been addressed to both Ali and herself. Arching an interested eyebrow at that fact, she began to read.Red Dawn Medical Complex Attention: Isis Amarina Matango, Alisha Emilynn Mercotti
To Whom it May Concern,
I wish that I could bring warm greetings to you on this day, to say that I had found someone who has been missing for a very long time. But I presently have noting but leads at the moment. Which is why I have sent this message via coded network.
I have data points that could reveal the whereabouts of the missing master, Jedi-18. However very few people take a combined view of the force as I do to treat the mysticism scientifically, and the Midiclorian coin religiously. and so, I was hoping that if there was any institution in the universe that could take data point such as spectrum analysis of an aura, and Balance of Midichlorian Egress/ingress, it would be the Red Dawn Medical Facility. I would request that you review the attached report and compare it to files in your system, and send back a list of matches to this address.
I am sorry to ask this without offering positive location on where the accused Jedi-18 may be, but I need confirmation that who I am tracking is indeed the missing master that I cannot compromise the mission with a request for authorisation in exchange for a trackable link. If you so choose to assist, I give you my word in honor that when I have found Jedi-18 and it is time to extract him you have Rite of first refusal to form the task force.
As Ever yours
Jedi Master Diamonte Tuhlute Jedi-58.13
Enclosures: Data Analysis 10.11.1520 - 23.16-0 "Jedi 18? Who the hell is that?"She muttered to herself while setting the mug down on the desk and re-reading Montes message. Folding her arms across her chest and sitting back in her chair for a moment, she stared blankly at the holoscreen on the wall while deep in thought. Pursing her lips, she reached, with one hand, for the datapad and read the message yet again and this time more carefully while taking in each word. It was something in the last part of the message, the last paragraph to be exact, that made her pause. Why would Monte give them the Rite of First Refusal to form a task force to extract this Jedi 18? Unless......."Fuck! It can't be him, can it? Not after all this time...." She exclaimed as she tossed the datapad on the desk and stood up while rubbing a hand over her face. Just then the datapad beeped with another message, this time from Alisha. Before Ice could respond the Ali's message she felt her cousins nearing presence, then came the light knock on the door. Leaning over the desk, Ice pressed a button on one of the consoles and the door softly swished open allowing Ali to to enter the room with a concerned look on her face.Meeting Ali's gaze, Ice tilted her head slightly to the side. "Please tell me it's not him, Ali." She implored, though she already knew the answer to the question before Ali could say a word.

Ali folded her arms across her chest with a sigh as she glanced away from Ice momentarily, then meeting her cousins emerald gaze, she spoke softly."All the testing and data we have matches up with what Monte sent. There's a ninety nine point ninety nine percent chance that the person Monte is following is him. So, yes, Ice....Adi is alive. That's what I wanted to talk to you about - that and this...." Ali pulled her own datapad from the pocket of her lab coat and handed it to Ice so she could read the message that Ali had sent to Monte. "This is the message I sent back to Monte in response of my findings." "I didn't know how you wanted to handle the offer of the Rite of First Refusal so I didn't answer Monte on that particular subject. Though, he did send another message after my initial reply." Ali moved to stand next to Ice and swiped a finger across the screen of the datapad and brought up the other message Monte had sent specifically to Ali.Alisha Emilynn Mercotti
Dear Dr. Mercotti,
Thank you for your Rapid analysis and response on the matter relating to my suspicion of the location of Jedi-18. This indeed confirms what I had thought about from the start. I will not however, at present be transmitting my location to coordinate an extraction strike.
My main reasoning is that the time is not yet right. Having read my analysis you saw the aside note that he has been foolishly trying to hide his signature by cutting off his access to the force and trying to radiate as little of an aura as possible. I will not denigrate my memory of him. but that move makes him out to Immature in his logical procedures, and easier to track. I suppose you can appreciate the conundrum that I am in. If I continue to stall, he may realise my identity and run in an attempt of self preservation, however calling for an extraction before the case is built including motivations for going AWOL would only exacerbate the situation with the possibility that his self preservation could end up leaving several of his would be captors in Critical condition, and ending his own life.
I am however, a man of my word. when the case is built, you have the rite of first refusal to send anyone you so choose after Matango before I request aid from the council at large.
As ever Yours
Jedi Master Diamonte Tuhlute Jedi-58.13 "We have no exact co-ordinance on either him or Adi at the moment. I was going to go down to the HAMR labs and see if Felicity could dig up, at the very least, a system from which the messages originated. If we get lucky and find a starting point then you can handle it however you see fit when, and if, Monte contacts one of us again." Ali paused, silently gauging Ice's demeanor as she read and reread the second message from Monte. She could tell by the look on Ice's face that this wasn't exactly the best time to give an opinion on the subject, so she simply waited for her cousin to speak her own thoughts on the matter first.

Outwardly, Ice showed no emotion on her face though inwardly she was feeling more than a little annoyed, angered, frustrated, and somewhat saddened. She knew she couldn't hide the feelings from Ali, someone who knew her better than she knew herself sometimes, so she didn't even try. Instead, she pursed her lips and faced Ali when her cousin paused in her speech.
"Having Felicity look into the origins of the message is a good idea. As for the Rite of First Refusal....we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Chances are that Monte has already sent a message to the Council, as thorough as he is. This..." Ice held up the datapad, wiggling it in the air between them, "...was most likely more about getting confirmation of who he was trailing, and out of politeness more than anything." She handed the device back to Ali then folded her arms across her chest as she caught her lower lip between her teeth, looking thoughtful for a moment.
Rubbing a hand over her forehead, Ice met Ali's questioning gaze. "Right now I have other things to worry about other than a wayward ex-husband who disappeared like a bantha fart in the wind." Signing, Ice leaned against her desk as she ran a hand over her braided hair while calming herself. Taking a deep breath and letting it out again, she continued. "Unless Adieumus is causing an exorbitant amount trouble, or he tries to set foot on Honoghr again, then I really don't want, or need, to know what the hell he's doing. He made his choices long ago....and I made mine...."
She stated with a certain conviction in her voice as she held Ali's gaze. Ali smiled warmly while nodding, once, in agreement and understanding. Moving forward a bit, she hugged Ice close, and spoke with a level tone.
"I know, Icicle, and you are not alone in this. Whatever you decide to do about any future news Monte brings us, know that I will stand beside you and support your decisions." Ali stood back with a slight smile, her hands still on Ice's shoulders.
"Now, let me bring those messages to Felicity and see if she can work her geeky holocomputer magic on them. In the mean time....promise me that you won't dwell on this too much, okay, chérie? It's not good for you, or Lukas, if you do. He may be young but he can still sense when you're upset, or worried, about something."
Giving Ice another quick, but affectionate hug to which Ice returned, Ali turned on her heel and left the office. Smiling slightly at Ali's retreating back until the office door swished closed effectively cutting off the view of her cousin, Ice let out an exasperated breath before sitting down at her desk and closing her eyes for a few moments, concentrating on clearing her mind of the negative thoughts. After doing so, she decided that any work related activity could wait until later. Standing up again, she gathered up a few items from the desk and stuffed them into a small knapsack before shutting off the holoscreen on the wall and walking out of the room. As the door swished closed behind her all security protocols took effect to ensure that the office was locked down until her return.......

[ Mirian Santiro | Office of Ice Matango | Red Dawn Medical Center | Honoghr ]
Mirian wasn't quite sure what to expect when she entered, but the title of princess set off alarm bells in her head. Generally, princesses were bad news, based on lore. If you met a princess, there was a high likelihood you would fall into adventure after adventure, whether you wanted it or not. Being a generally legitimate transporter of goods and people, adventure was not something a peaceful captain would want, because adventures usually involved blasters, and if you were particularly unlucky, lightsabers. All these thoughts went into the young woman's mind as she paused before the threshold to the offices of this princess. She fussed with her hair and outfit, trying to make herself look neater, and then without any permission tried to straighten out Juuma's clothes, but paused. Upon inspection, she realized there was really no helping the Gungan. That was how he was going to look.
Han Der seemed quite all right, as far as Jawas went. That left...
She entered the office and paused between curtseying and bowing to just waving out of panic, "GOOD TO MEET YOU PRINCESS MATANGO!"
Coughing, she blushed and then lowered her voice, "Good to meet you, princess Matango."

Han had kept a safe distance as he followed Mirian to the Princesses office. He did consider it strange for a Princess to have an office at a Medical Center, but then, the galaxy was a large place and each culture had their own customs and traditions. He just about gave himself a concussion with how hard he facepalmed as Miri panickingly greeted the Princess Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope... Naturally his translator would choose now of all times to mess up. But thankfully it had been uttered quietly enough, that Han was sure no one important had heard him. Gainging some composure, he gave a tip of his hat to the Princess Matango Pleasure to meet you...

Juuma looked quizzically as his new captain attempted to straighten his vest. "Captain mesa finks you issa to worried'".Then Juuma watched as Han and Miri introduced themselves to the lady who was apparently royalty. In all honesty his first instinct was to kidnap the woman, royalty always went for a high price, but alas his new captain had said no piracy so he simply stood at the back of the room his fingers twitching slightly as they often did when he didn't have a weapon in his hands.

When all the pleasantries, and some wary looks from the Gungan, Ice and Mirian got down to the task of talking business. It seemed that Mirian, and her current crew, were legitimate transporters looking for a job. While The Captain explained their situation, Ice listened intently to what she had to say. After the woman was done they both continued to discuss the possibilities of a job for the crew of the Serene Moondancer. By the time the meeting was finished they had agreed that Mirian and her crew would work a couple of runs, at a reasonable but lucrative amount of credits for them, for the RDMC picking up medical supplies and other needed items for the hospital.
A standard official contract had been brought in by Kassidy Payne, from the law firm of Payne, Mildhurt, and Strange, and signed by all parties involved. Once that was done and the appropriate goodbyes were given, Kassidy handed Mirian a physical paper copy of the contract, along with a data stick that held the digital copy, then shook her hand before Mirian turned and somewhat clumsily left the office with her two crew members following close behind. Arching an eyebrow, Kassidy smiled when the door swished closed behind the eclectic trio of transporters then turned back to Ice as she handed her copies of the two versions of the contract also. "They're certainly an interesting group. A Jawa, a Gungan, and a Human...is it just me or does that seem like the beginnings of a bad barroom joke?"Pursing her lips, Ice had a thoughtful look on her face as she accepted the papers and the datastick from Kassidy. Putting those aside in one of the desk drawers for the moment, she stood up from the desk and folded her arms across her chest with a small chuckle and a grin. "Yes, it does seem like the beginnings of a bad joke, but if they're as good as Captain Santiro claims then bad joke or not....it'll all be worth it - for them and for the RDMC.""Indeed, it will be." Kassidy nodded in agreement with Ice while placing the law firms copies of the contracts in her briefcase and closing it before glancing back to the other woman again with a smile. "If there isn't anything else to be done here then I'll get these back to my office and filed within our database for future reference." She stated as she took the briefcase in hand and smiled once more.Returning the smile, Ice walked with the lawyer to the door. "There's nothing else I can think of at the moment and thank you, Kassidy, for bringing the contract over on such short notice. I know you're all busy at the firm so this was greatly appreciated.""It was no problem, Ice. I could have sent one of the interns over with it, but I wasn't doing much of anything except prep work and procrastination anyway. This was the perfect excuse to get me out of my office for a couple of hours...and to possibly see a certain doctor while I'm at it. He owes me a lunch." Kassidy replied with a grin and a wink before walking out of the office toward the turbolift.
Chuckling, with an amused shake of her head, Ice watched the doors to the lift close. She knew the doctor that Kassidy was talking about and had no doubts that the doctor returned the lawyer's apparent admiration and affection. Turning away from the office door as it swished closed again, she walked back over to her desk and sat down once more to finish up the reports she had been working on before the meeting with Mirian had briefly interrupted that task.
