There was no response. After days of Lex jumping down her throat, contesting every plan, Lishra had half expected him to reject the idea. "…Really?" She raised her eyebrows down at the Umbaran. "You've shot down every other good idea I've had the past week. I'm about to free climb a giant tree in the middle of a bog and NOW you're not gonna fight me?" He looked darkly amused, but she couldn't really tell from this angle. Lex crossed his arms, gave a tiny shrug, and looked at her pointedly.
She almost smiled in relief at the lack of resistance. Almost. "Alright, then! Up I go." Lishra grabbed at a loose vine hanging from the canopy above, tied it around her waist, made sure Lex's borrowed slugthrower pistol was secure (he'd probably kill her if something happened to it), and craned her neck upwards. Red-orange darkness swallowed the top of the tree. Beating wings whooshed somewhere above.
Lishra started climbing.
Time sort of phased out for her. When you're scaling something big and unpredictable, especially in the dark, your focus narrows and everything else is blocked out. It's just your feet, your hands, your body, the vines. Once or twice, she had to backtrack and find different routes when she hit a dead end. Once or twice, she had to stop and listen in mild anxiety to the screeches and rustlings of whatever was slowly following her up the tree. Once or twice, she wished she'd brought her water bottle with her.
Making it to the canopy was only half the job. Now she had to navigate the outstretched limbs and branches, find a way through the thick foliage covering them, and keep her balance as she pushed her way through the leaves. The air was different up here, not as still, and the light filtering through the treetops that never made it to the bottom bathed the branches in an eerie glow. The limbs were very wide, almost flat, covered in a blood-colored moss. Lishra stepped carefully, pausing only to pull her hair back into a bun. It was sticking to her face in curled clumps, and slapping it out of the way all the time was dangerous. Finally, after finding a solid spot, she closed her eyes, held her breath, and poked her head through the canopy.
It was… stunning, in an outlandish way. Her vision filled with every possible hue of orange and red as far as she could see. The forest stretched forever from west to east with a clearly visible dark line of bog running through the middle, but it wasn't flat. It was full of ups and downs, hills covered in trees roiling through the woodland like waves on an ocean. Lishra turned slowly. To her north (or what she thought was north, anyway), the trees stopped a ways off, and out of the forest rose a host of mountains. They sloped up steadily, fairly bare and fairly high, but their tops were completely flat. No vegetation. Instead…what looked like strange rock formations stuck up from the plateaus like massive snaggle-teeth, clustered thickly in some places. She couldn't see beyond that. To the south, a decent ways from where the swamp started, there was ocean, and beach. And scattered all around her were the massive crash impacts of various ships, some billowing with smoke, others not. She tried to distinguish, tried to spot The Ballistic, but it was too hard at this distance. A newly born sunrise glimmered hopefully just over the horizon. She watched it rise slowly, washing everything in bright orange. But the light seemed dull after a few moments, and she realized as she looked down that the faint red-orange fog rose from the leaves as the sunlight hit them. But she'd seen all she needed to see.
It was time to fill Lex in.
Ducking back under the canopy, Lishra felt accomplished as she cautiously made her way back down the flat limbs. She'd seen where the ships had crashed. They could investigate and go from there. Double-checking the vine around her waist, she moved towards the edge of the last widest limb and peered down. Visibility ran dry after just twenty feet. Frowning, she thought about going back up and tearing down a few of the leaves so there was light to climb by, but as the sun rose and the heat increased, the moss became very slippery. "Probably best not to break my neck," she mumbled.
Something whooshed straight up from the darkness below, nearly shaving her face off. Lishra threw herself backwards just in time, landing on her back as she whipped out the slugthrower pistol. Air beat above her, and she barely had time to process the vast outline of wings against the brightening red leaves before the creature landed in front of her. She trained her pistol on it. Its body wasn't much bigger than her, dark grey and thorny, almost like splintered bone and rather insect-like in shape, but the leather wingspan was frightening, as were the layers of spike teeth. It stood on the edge of the limb, back to the bog, facing her with glimmering eyes. For a moment, nothing happened. Creature looked at girl, girl looked at creature in total silence. The hammering of her heart and the blood rushing through her ears was almost deafening.
As abruptly as it had suddenly appeared, the beast flung its winds wide in a threatening manner, opened its boney jaws, and let out a shriek that pierced every corner of the bog and surrounding forest.
Lishra fired four shots into its chest.
It screamed again, staggered backwards, its wings twitching…and then it fell over the edge and straight down. It took her a moment to recover, frozen in fear, stunned by shock. Everything was silent, like the planet was waiting for something.
It was the echoing screech from the other side of the bog that finally snapped her out of it. Pistol in one hand, Lishra crawled to the edge, grabbed a vine, and scampered back down the tree as fast as she could.

Darkness was all that greeted Arkan on arrival on this new planet. I suppose 'arrival' was a rather strong word as he was lucky to have survived the crash. Xim was a very skilled pilot but there was only so much he could do when the entire ship lost power inside the gravity well of a planet. Even so he had used the back up systems that were mechanically driven in an attempt to slow their descent. His results were 'mixed' to say the least.
The Firespray was now a smoking wreck at the end of a fairly long impact crator. Inside was just as much of a mess, Xim lay unconscious in what remained of the cockpit with the main view screen having being mostly reduced to shattered remains on the floor. The ship was wedged at a thirty degree angle from how it would normally land, although it had flipped and spun into this position. In the passenger compartment Arkan was still strapped to his seat in a rather unique position. He was trapped within his own armoured suit. What had protected him for years was now threatening to kill him. He sat in his seat, crash restraints still fitted, leaning over to his right despite the ship being tilted off to his left. Inside his suit the Captain was unconscious, which was a benefit as there was no power and so his air-filtration system had powered down. With no new oxygen being pumped in and no carbon dioxide being pumped out, his life expectancy could now be measured in minutes.
Eldo slowly awoke groaning from the pain in his head. He had managed to fully fit his restraints on the descent but his head had taken a battering and a small trickle of blood ran from his left temple. He blinked repeatedly as his eyes adjusted to the low light level in the ship. Soon his sharp, Echani eyes began to interpret his surroundings and a picture emerged. Sirca had been thrown from his seat and lay towards the rear of the ship. Adom was dead, there was no doubt. He had been unable to fully secure himself during the descent and he lay bloody and battered in the centre of the passenger compartment. The other two, Graal and Baz had been in the cargo bay during the descent and out of sight of Eldo.
The Black Guard unstrapped himself from his chair and slowly stood looking in the direction of the Captain. He slowly stood and before approaching Arkan tried to turn the emergency lights on. He found that both the control panels near him were out of power. One of them was smashed to bits but the other showed very little sign of crash damage. Puzzled, Eldo checked his personal equipment, blaster first! None of it was working, his blaster was out of power, his scanner and his multi-function light source. He then began to check the rest of the ship and he found that nothing had power, nothing at all. Whatever had killed the ships electrics had killed everything onboard too.
He had not even realised that his armour was still intact and he had being slowly making his way around the ship ready for combat. This was something he could do without right now and began to remove his chest plate when he heard a noise from behind him. Spinning and pointing his useless blaster towards the door he found himself very close to pulling the trigger as Graal stumbled in. Of course his blaster would have done nothing but it was habit.
“Where's Baz?” Eldo said while lowering his weapon.
“He's checking the rest of the equipment in the cargo bay. Everything's lost power back there, is there anything working in here?”
“No, everything is dead and I don't think it's all because of the crash.”
“The ship lost power first then everything on board, where's the Captain?” Graal said as he was obviously looking around the rather dark ship. His eyes might not have adjusted as well.
“He's over there on that seat, strapped in safe and sound. I've not checked his vitals yet as his suit is in the way but knowing the Captain, he'll be fine!”
“Does his suit have power?”
Graal asked the question out of mere curiosity but Eldo realised that he had not checked and that mistake could prove fatal. Eldo rushed over to Arkan and unstrapped him as quickly as he could. Graal had had the same realisation and quickly began to help his comrade remove the Captain's armoured suit. Neither of the pirates had seen the Captain's face before, none of his crew had except for Xim. Xim had been with Arkan on Iridonia and helps rescue him from the corrupt ruler after he had been captured. The two of them eventually managed to remove all of the suit from their Captain and he soon lay wearing only his armour weave bodyglove. Eldo checked their leaders vital signs and confirmed that he was alive. It was then that Baz walked in.
“Is he ok?”
“He is now Baz, he would have suffocated if we had left him in his suit much longer.” Eldo elaborated on his sudden rush.
“Oh Sithspit! So everything has lost power and I have no idea why. We have a little bit of food and water but we will need to find more very soon.”
“Ok Baz, go outside and try and find some high ground nearby. We need to know what's going on around here. Graal, you gather all the weapons you can that don't require power, all the blades and bayonets. We'll need them, probably sooner than necessary. I'll check on Xim and hope that the Captain wake up soon.”
The Bloodrage Pirates knew their place and set about their tasks ignoring the body of their dead comrades, instead picking their bodies for weapons. The pirates were a unique group.

SHIT Cage yelled as he fought with the stick in his small ship. He was entering orbit, although a better word for it would be freefalling into orbit. As the ship fell he managed to level it out before he slammed into a deep embankment in the side of a hill. For a few moments he was rendered unconscious before finally coming to. Ouch. what the hell my hud it isn't working, well isn't this just freaking great. Cage stood from the pilots chair and pulled the helmet from his head. Dropping it he walked to the back and opened the hatch.
The first thing Cage noticed was the lack of civilization, and the excess of plant life. jungle planet. Great just great. Cage grabbed his blaster pistols and shotgun before sliding the sword into its sheath across his back. Walking towards the edge he attempted to jump out of the hatch and use his jetpack to slow his decent. Instead what he got was a nice ten foot drop onto unsteady ground. What the fu- he broke off his sentence as he hit the ground and rolled down the hill. Standing up and brushing some leaves off his armor he shook his head. What the hell is this place? Wait I wonder.... Cage trailed off aiming his blaster at a tree. Pulling the trigger he didn't even get a click. Son of a BITCH Cage yells throwing his shotgun and blasters at the tree. Ok, well it looks like ill be using good ole iron for this one. Well Mandalorian Iron that is. Cage slid the sword from his back and set off through the jungle.
As Cage slashed his way through underbrush he heard banging like metal on metal. Hacking faster he stopped at the edge of the trees and peered out. What he saw surprised even him, a ruined ship and a woman standing outside it scanning the distance. Well there could be worse things than be stranded on a hostile world with another person I guess. Cage stood out of the brush his blood red and black armor a strong contrast to the light green and approached the woman sheathing his sword. He held his hands out to the sides to signify he meant no harm and called out. Hey I crashed a little way off, do you know where the hell we are? My name is Cage by the way.

He was on his feet before the second shot range out, glaring up through the canopy until he caught sight of... well, something hurtling toward the ground. If he was being honest, it looked a lot like some of the monsters he'd seen prowling coruscant's lowest levels. It hit the "ground" with a squish and shuddered once, then laid still. It took him a good fifteen seconds to decide it was actually dead and he could lower the revolver he'd trained on its head, but even then he didn't holster it. If she kills herself up there... His thought went unfinished as it was interrupted by yet another formerly spacefaring vessel plummeting down from on high, smashing into the planet somewhere north of them. Or what he assumed was north of them.
He was getting ready to scale the tree himself and make sure Lishra wasn't lying half dead on one of the branches when he caught sight of her high above, finally beginning the portion of her descent that took her below the lofty branches. He let out a long breath, and the tightness in his chest he'd failed to notice finally began to ease as he watched her climb down. When she reached the ground, he was crouched over the corpse of the thing she'd shot, examining it for any information about this place and the dangers it might hold. Apart from the screech that had answered this thing's dying call. He was already pretty sure what that was. "Only four rounds this time. You're getting better."

"Only four rounds this time. You're getting better." She shot Lex a scathing look as she joined him, crouching over the animal on the ground, a little out of breath from her rapid descent. "It tried to eat me, it's lucky I didn't empty the whole clip. I'm fine, by the way, thanks for asking. But there are more. Lots more. You heard the answering call." She stood, scanning the bog with her visual map in her mind. "We should get out of here before its friends come looking for it. I saw where the other ships crashed, some of them aren't far, c'mon." She tapped him on the shoulder with the pistol as she sipped from her water canteen. "Let's go socialize," she added with an exaggeratedly sweet, sweet smile and a flutter of her eyelashes. She knew he hated interacting, especially with unknowns. The Firespray was now a smoking wreck at the end of a fairly long impact crator. Inside was just as much of a mess

Pistol out, covered in soot stains and bog dirt, Lishra trudged confidently through the mud, heading North to the nearest ship crash site (that'd be you, Bloodrage Pirates), and obviously expecting Lex to follow her. "The swamp runs like a belt west to east as far as I could see. The beach is behind us, but that's going backwards. There's a freshly crashed vessel just a little ways north. We can stop there, see if anyone is hurt, get some information, and then head for the mountains. If they're nice, they can come along. If not…" She waved the slugthrower in the air. "But I hope it doesn't come to that."

Baz was half way up the nearest tree when he heard the shots. Four slug thrower rounds fired somewhere off in the distance. It was most definitely a slug-thrower, their sound was very distinctive and Baz had been shot at by them in the past. He continued up the tree to where he had a better view of the crash site. The sun was rising and he could see the swampy terrain that the Firespray had come down in surrounded by jungle for as far as he could see. Behind him he could see yet more swampland but he could see the beginning of a mountain range in the distance.
Baz was not the only one who heard the slug-thrower rounds go off. Arkan quickly awoke and stood up with far too much urgency. His head began to pound but he was at least conscious. He looked around the ship which was beginning to become a lot clearer thanks to the rising sun. He quickly located and identified the dead bodies on the floor and puzzled slightly over his lack of armour. There was no power of any kind and every piece of his armour was inoperative. He did not like this situation. Graal returned from the cargo bay with an impressive amount of blades strapped to himself. He was shocked to see his Captain awake but quickly began to explain the situation.
“Cap'n, I've gathered all the blades I can and Baz is outside keeping watch. Eldo is up front checking on Xim. I don't think he's in a good way.”
“Tell me, did you hear those sounds just now?” He saw that he hadn't due to Graal's look of confusion. “Someone just fired a slug-thrower at least twice just now. I assume our blasters are out of juice but it appears that the more primitive slug-throwers still work. Have we got any in the back?”
“I don't think so Cap'n but I'll go and check.”
As Graal rushed off back to forage for weapons as Arkan walked through to the cockpit. Eldo was checking Xim's vital signs when the Captain walked in, grabbed Xim's slug-thrower and his holster and then left. Eldo was slightly confused, he didn't even have time to speak before Xim awoke. The Executioner was highly trained in the deadly arts and having some of his weaponary removed had stirred his animalistic brain.
“Move Eldo, I have work to do!”
Eldo was still confused and shocked as Xim unbuckled himself and swiftly moved from the cockpit. He sometimes thought the Captain and his Executioners were a different species sometimes. Xim was soon outside of the downed ship and seeing the swampy conditions shed most of his heavy armour that would weigh him down. He then stood slightly behind and to the right of Arkan who had strapped the holster and its contents to his waist.
“Move to the east, stay out of sight and wait for my command.”
Xim didn't even register acknowledgement, he just rushed off into the jungle moving towards the rising sun. If a compass was unavailable then any good scout would use the planets closest star to determine direction. Xim still had his slug-thrower rifle in hand but quickly slung that over his shoulder. Arkan planned to use the Executioner as his ace in the hole, his back up plan if things went south. No telling what kind of criminals had ended up crashing on this rock!

"You go ahead. I'm not walking into a trap with no idea what might be waiting for us." He'd been nearly killed too many times to let that happen again, and he preferred staying in the shadows anyway. Like many of his species, he had a knack for remaining unseen in spite of his pale skin. Maybe that had something to do with their psychic talents, or maybe it was just a predator's instinct, but he could pretty well vanish anywhere a shadow was present, and here beneath the thick canopy of the swamp trees, there was more than enough shadow to go around as he stalked through the foliage after Lishra.

"Of course you're not," she mumbled, kicking aside a particularly bushy clump of vegetation in her path. Lishra had tried his whole stealthy, melt-into-the-shadows thing. She'd tried hard. But despite Lex's blunt training and every effort on her part, subtlety just wasn't in the petite brunette's physical (or mental) makeup. So, they'd worked out an alternative method. She took the front line, boldly out in the open, and he slunk invisibly through the shadows behind and around her, waiting for something to take his bait. It had worked for them, so far.
By the time they neared the swamps edge, Lishra was very ready to leave the mud and the sticky air behind. She'd taken her hair down, which made the hot air worse to bear, but offered some kind of relief from the constant swarms of micro-gnats that attacked her neck and shoulders. Smoke from the nearest crashed vessel billowed farther ahead, but she could hear no activity. The foliage was still too thick. Lishra looked around her, trying to spot Lex in the gloom. He was there, she could feel him watching her, but she couldn't see him. Good. Xim was soon outside of the downed ship and seeing the swampy conditions shed most of his heavy armour that would weigh him down. For a minute, she wondered if she should creep in quietly, see if she could see anything first, but decided against it. Wiping the sweat from her free hand on her tank top, she took a breath and followed the long burn-line gash the vessel had left in the ground from its impact, making as much noise as she could. Better to announce yourself that to startle an animal in unfamiliar territory. At the last minute as she pushed through the thick ferns surrounding the crash site, she tucked the slugthrower pistol into her makeshift belt. Not that she looked especially threatening with it in her hand, but better safe than sorry. Lifting a wide red leaf out of her way, Lishra stumbled out from the forest in full view, eyes peeled.
It looked like a Firespray class, but she was more interested in the single man standing in the swamp outside of it (Arkan). The young woman tried to quash the rising unease in her gut as she smiled in friendly fashion. "I…saw your ship crash, mine went down further back in the swamp." She took another small step forward, hands open at her sides in peaceful gesture. "My name's Lishra…Do you know what's going on here? None of my tech works, my ship just lost power mid-air."

He knew the rest of this team would know what to do so he began the elaborate lie.
“Good morning Lishra, at least I assume it is morning. I'm Icarus and this was my ship!”
Arkan said gesturing to the smoking wreck that indeed used to be his Firespray. Although it used to belong to a certain Mandalorian, the name of whom he could not remember. The Captain began to walk slowly over to Lishra as he spoke.
“We lost power too shortly after being pulled from hyperspace. Have you got anything to work?”

“We lost power too shortly after being pulled from hyperspace. Have you got anything to work?” She stayed where she was, shifting her feet a little to peer around Icarus curiously. "No, my comms is dead, blaster is useless, even the emergency lighting is out. It makes no sense. Until we figure out why, looks like no one's going anywhere..." Lishra turned her gaze back to Icarus, her usually shrewd brown eyes picking up nothing useful as she studied him. But there was something sharp about him, like the glint of a blade's edge. Everything else was a mystery, which meant either he was as he said, or he was hiding something. Lishra understood. Giving everything away to a stranger on an alien planet wasn't smart. In fact, she was mentally kicking herself for using her real name, given the price on her head. The man didn't look like a bounty hunter, but the best ones never did.
Smoke inhalation must slow the brain down. Lex was probably cursing her name from the shadows. "There are others, too. A few crashes on the beach, a couple farther north. I had a decent view from the treetops, this swamp wraps around the landscape like a belt as far as I could see." She resisted the urge to look for Lex, instead taking a swig from her water bottle. "We wer-..I was headed north. I was tracking a ship that had crashed here; I have a friend aboard, it's important I find her." It wasn't a very smooth recovery, and she had a lie on hold, ready to come out and gloss over the 'we'. But maybe she could get away with it if she just kept going. "If I can get up those mountains, get a better look around, maybe I can start figuring this place out. I wouldn't stay here too long, though." Lishra gestured behind her. "Some kind of flying creature attacked me up in the trees back there. I took care of it, but it has friends."

Arkan paused to consider the young woman's proposal. Without stating it, she was offering to work with Arkan to find her friend and then hopefully a way off this rock. It was something he could not consider turning down in the current situation.
“We should probably get moving then, we don't know what those creatures are capable of. A couple of my colleagues survived and are gathering up what supplies haven't been destroyed in the crash. I'll get them out here then we can head north.”
The Captain turned away and walked back into the wreckage where Graal was gathering up weapons and other supplies. He had assembled several packs to carry them and split the food, water and weapons between them. On his was into the wreck, Arkan caught Baz's eye, he was still three quarters of the way up a nearby tree and had heard most of the conversation. Arkan gestured and Baz began to climb down to join them. Once they were all inside the wrecked Firespray he briefed them of his cover name and instructed them to use their own names, none of them were well know criminals. They then put on their backpacks and exited towards Lishra.
“Lishra, these are my shipmates, Baz, Graal and Eldo. We've gathered as much as we can from our ship and you are welcome to share our food and water. Though we don't have very much of either! What type of ship was your friend travelling in?”

In hyperspace, a corvette-class minelayer dropped out of hyperspace early, putting itself in the midst of deep space. On board, it carried the three relay stations, some fifty non-mass transceivers, and thirteen relay satellites that the Quincy had harvested, modified, and directly programmed over the past year - the components that, in their entirety, would make up the Quincy SpyNet. Placing the satellites, transceivers, and relay stations, however, was slow and grueling work - the corvette had to travel by sublight to exact coordinates, whereupon it released a transceiver, satellite, or relay, and then initiated tuning and orientation procedures. In tuning, the onboard communications officers communicated with the dropped component with the ships onboard communication suite, verifying that it was receiving all frequencies, and even testing encryption algorithms and droid brain logic. If everything checked out, they proceeded to orientation - specific coordinates were given, and the component then oriented towards that position - the corvette then made a short hyperspace jump, followed by a several hour sublight flight to intercept that orientations path. From there, another test of frequencies and protocols was done, before, finally, the corvette made the several hour sublight flight back to the primary space land, jumped back into hyperspace, and then repeated the process - some seventy times.
It would take the better part of three months (one week RL) to set up the entirety of the SpyNet array - meanwhile, the disaster that was the primary Listening post would -hopefully - be resolved by the time the array was put into place. Then again, if something could go wrong...it probably would.

With the Tof accepting Venom as their superior for the time being, it gave both Venom and Valafar a chance to relax and breathe easy for a bit. Once at Iridonia, he expected things to change once the Tof figured out he didn't actually have any treasure for them to plunder. But until then, he could relax.
After ensuring Valafar was in the infirmary and being looked after, Venom wandered to his quarters. Once in side, he locked the door, stripped his clothing off and went for a shower. After a solid twenty or so minute shower, Venom wandered into the main area of his quarters and dressed in clothes found in one of the nightstands. They were made of simple cloth. Nothing fancy, though Venom didn't need fancy at this point, just something comfortable. He washed his robes and tunic and cleaned up the armor pieces, then flopped down on his bunk and immediately passed out from sheer exhaustion.

Aboard the Deadwood, in the Infirmary.
Valafar awakens to find himself laying on a giant bed, he brought his left hand to his face to remove the sleep from his eyes. When he did the touch of his hand was cold and metallic. Valafar looked down at his left arm and noticed that it had been replaced with a cybernetic arm, than he remembered that a giant beast had cut off his left using his own lightsaber. He wondered how he ended up here in what looks like an infirmary, by all logic he should have been killed. Valafar noticed that a giant beast was standing guard at the massive door.
"You beast, how in the hell did i end up here?"
After your friend just about killed the Supreme, the Commandant submitted to his authority, and order us to take you to our Infirmary."
"Whose the Commandant?"
"He would be the one who cut off you arm"
Valafar wanting to discus things over with Venom proceeded to sit up on the bed. His chest still hurt like a son of bitch. He hopped down and walked towards the beast to ask one more question.
"Where is my Brother?"
"He's in his quarters."
Valafar grinned at the fact that these beasts submitted to his clan brother. He walked passed the guard and used the force to sense where Venom was. Valafar proceeded to walk to his clan brother, stopping at different intersections and memorizing its layout they might need it for later. Valafar could tell that he was getting closer to Venom, he stopped once more just to catch his breath. Valafar was just outside of Venom's quarters, he knock on the massive door.
"Brother it's me"
Valafar hoped that Venom would understand why he had attacked the beasts. He also hoped that Venom had a plan, since he didn't.

Venom woke with a start, to the sound of knocking on his door. He glanced up at the chronometer on the wall. He had been sleeping for just over four hours now. He rose from the bed and unlocked the door to find Valafar standing there, wearing a new prosthetic arm.
"Brother, you are awake and moving about. Please, come in. I have no doubt that you have questions."
Venom motioned for Valafar to enter his quarters.

Valafar walked in behind Venom as the massive door closed behind them. He did have a lot of questions. He wanted to know what happened after he was knocked out, Valafar could guess what happened just by talking to the beast guarding the infirmary.
"First brother, let me apologize for attacking the beast. I would like to what happened after my arm was cut off"
While talking to Venom, Valafar extended his cybernetic arm and retracted it a couple of times trying to get use to it. He was also moving his fingers on the arm for the same purpose.

Venom seated himself at the table in his room and steeped his fingers. He then replied.
"Do not worry yourself over trivial matters now. What's done is done. You paid the price for your actions. While I say it is a little extreme, you still paid for it. After you were so easily cast aside, I hoisted the leader of these pirates up off the deck through the Force, by the throat. I threatened to slaughter every last one of these pirates if they didn't accept my authority. How long it will last will remain to be seen, however."
Venom yawned. He was still tired, but he would sleep better once he knew he wasn't going to be squished by unhappy pirates with an affinity for squishing things smaller than them.

Valafar decided that it was for the best if he left Venom to rest. He exited the room and proceeded to head to his room where he would rest and drew up plans for a new lightsaber, since his old one is now in the possession of the beast that had cut off his arm. Valafar entered his quarters and removed the simple cloth shirt and laid down on the giant bed. Valafar needed a good rest if the pirates were to try something.

As Valafar left his room, Venom closed the door behind him and locked it. He proceeded to crawl back into the giant bed so get a few more hours sleep. They'd be coming up on the half way part of their journey now, so he wanted to be ready for anything once the arrived at Iridonia.

Imperious-Class Star Destroyer: Elizabeth's Fury. Hyperspace Transition.
The freshly resurrected Zabrak Sith Lord, Xander Savage sat on his elevated command chair on the bridge of his ship. Grand Admiral Jericho stood staunchly beside him. Xander, garbed in a pair of loose fitting combat fatigues, worn drexl leather boots and a red velvet cloak, sat admiring the swirling back drop of hyperspace. He chuckle to himself, causing the Admiral to lean in and ask a question.
"Something amusing you, sire?"
Xander, snapping out of his seemingly trance-like state, sat up straighter and casually glanced around.
"Hm? Oh. Yes and no. It's amusing how being dead can grant one a greater appreciation of the simpler things life has to offer. Take hyperspace travel for instance. Millions upon billions of sentient beings would be cut off from the galaxy as a whole with out it. Trade would stagnate and cease to exist, eventually. Such a seemingly simple creation and without it we would be lost...primitive..."
Jericho merely nodded his head in acknowledgement and continued on with the actual question he wanted to ask.
"May I ask where we are heading, my liege?"
Xander, now admiring the own fingers in a dazed like state, lowered his hand and spoke. Still seemingly dazed.
"Zakuul. Before the betrayal of my son and the collapse of my Empire, I had done a lot of research on the place. It was the home of the Eternal Empire. And it shall be the birthplace of my new Empire. Given how much time has passed, I imagine the Zakuulans have reverted back to a more...primitive state. And with that being the case, primitives are much easier to manipulate than more civilized planets. Since we know very little about the state of the galaxy, we need to tread carefully. We have no idea who owns what, who is allied with whom...galactic politics...very boring. But essential to prosper and expand. And even though the Fury is a formidable vessel, even she won't stand against an entire armada. We need a place to hide from the rest of the galaxy. A place to begin gathering resources while maintaining the notion that Zakuul is still a primitive backwater planet."
Jericho stood up straighter.
"Understood sire. I'll have everything prepared by the time we arrive."
As the Admiral snapped to attention, Xander lazily shifted in his seat and waved the Admiral away, speaking as he did so.
"Dismissed, Admiral. I will entrust the preparations to you. I will summon you again when we arrive in orbit."
Xander's eyes followed the Grand Admiral as he walked off the bridge to take care of their arrival preparations. Xander smirked and summoned the Warden.
"Warden, the information you managed to steal from the Inquisitor, forward it to my personal datapad. I will begin reviewing it now. By the time we arrive, I should have a better grasp on who to lean on and who to avoid..."
The A.I didn't appear before Xander, but acknowledged him regardless.
"Yes, my lord. All data copied from the Pious Inquisitor's databanks has been forwarded to your personal datapad to be reviewed at your leisure."
Xander sighed and reached for the datapad. He hated having to update himself on the current state of the galaxy, but being dead for over five years, things changed. And he needed to be prepared. Past mistakes wouldn't be repeated this time around.
