Location: Sulphis System | Planet of Arrakan | Kearleonis (capital city) A resounding bell tone sounded from a quaint chapel in the heart of Kearleonis, the signal for the end of service at the Church of Kithnarrock. Two bottle-nosed duor wearing bronze helmets and holding aloft deadly blaster spears in their folded flippers stood watch outside. The two sentinels of the faith pulled open the doors to place of worship to allow the days congregation to depart. Duor and their simple minded servants, the Battrach, vacated the chapel until only the High Priest remained. High Priest Fli'ppa remained at a raised dais before a gilded altar, garbed in flowing ceremonial robes of office that billowed around his torpedo shaped body.Something has changed. He could feel it, an unnatural disturbance in the great eternal sea that connected all living things in the galaxy. The delphinoid hadn't felt a presence such as that since those Imperial heretics took Kithnarrock from them, casting all of Arrakan into the dark times, a fate they were only just beginning to recover from. The High Priest swam through the open chapel doors, pausing at the threshold to regard the two sentinels. Something has happened. Remain at your posts until I return. Both bronze helmed duor nodded in conditioned subservience.Fli'ppa kicked it into high gear, pumping his tail as he cruised through the waters of Kearleonis like a guided missile, picking up speed as he traversed hidden tunnels and secret water ways. Within minutes he was free of the city, swimming fast and hard towards the stormy surface of the planet. He used echolocation clicks to scan the terrain ahead, but mostly he trusted that inner sense that pulled at the back of his mind, guiding him unseen to whatever strange presence he had felt.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemThe coral island upon which Shaxad stood upon sat in an eye of calm surrounded some miles off by the storm that raged just beyond the calm. He was draped in a zyed-cloth robe, courtesy of Vaxhu, as he stood recovering his strength and adjusting to this new form he was forced to suffer. Not that he was going to complain, it was an upgrade from an imprisonment in eternal sleep.
But now that he was awake, there was much work to be done. The Dominion which C'thyl had ruled over and provided an army from had disappeared. Which meant that a new follower base was required. New adherents would be needed, and Arrakan would provide that new source of power.
Like Mon Calamari, he would just have to cultivate the right followers through which to spread his message. He merely had to wait

Fli'ppa could feel the currents of the great eternal sea flowing throughout every fibre of his genetically superior form, lending his physical frame unfathomable speed, propelling him like a heat seeking torpedo towards the disturbance he had felt. His path brought him towards the surface, rising higher and higher until the rays of Arrakan Prime cut through the water and blinded his vision, as though he were ascending to the next plane of existence to join Kithnarrock in the afterlife. Such thoughts stirred a stewing hatred he kept close to his heart at all times.
The Imperials, genetically inferior human scum, had taken the creator from them many moons ago. Those finless land-walkers had come with their war machines and murdered the Leviathan deity of Arrakan, casting the entire world into the days of darkness. That offense had never been forgiven, instilling in High Priest Fli'ppa's generation a rage that even the deepest depths could not expunge. Unbeknownst to the rest of the galaxy, the Duor had not let their despair make them idle. They had been preparing for their revenge ever since.
Water erupted in a great geyser as the grey skinned Duor broke the surface and shot into the air, executing a perfect backflip, before splashing back down beneath the surface. Slowly he rose, his tail fin raising his expertly gene-crafted form from the depths so that he could turn his bottle-nosed snout towards one of the coral islands the surface dwellers used to descend to the capital city of Kearleonis. Dark green woven robes of seaweed hung from his shimmering body, swaying in the ocean breeze as the High Priest focused his attention on a solitary figure standing alone on the island.
Another land-walker? Fury swelled in Fli'ppa breast, allowing the Duor to tap further into the depths of the great sea to wield its power as his own. Focusing his mind, he seized the cylindrical shaped tube of coral tucked into a clam-pouch on his side in a telekinetic grip, before pulling it free with a single thought. The coral spun in the air before him, before he caught it between his teeth and pressed his tongue to a protrusion on its pearl white surface. Doing so revealed the piece of coral to actually be a greatsaber, as a angry reddish-orange energy blade extended out to two and half meters in length, held horizontally in his mouth as it hissed violently.
<< Who dares intrude on sacred Arrakan? >> He projected his furious thoughts at the shadowy Shaxad, his telepathy accompanied by echo-locational clicks. << Off-worlders are no longer welcome here. Not since your kind took the great Kithnarrock from us and cast our world into the dark times. >>
He wasn't sure why he was wasting time with words. Better to run this strange figure through with his lightclub and be done with it; yet, there something about them that felt...familiar? It made him hesitate.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemAs he sensed the approaching presence of the Duor, Shaxad had taken several steps down the coral to the waters edge. He came to a stop when the surface was breached and the lightsaber wielding Duor challenged him. His dark gaze fell upon the Delphinidae creature as his hands remained devoid of a weapon. He could feel the flowing currents of the darkside indicating that this being was important. The Duor, from what he could remember, had once worshipped a Leviathan beast known as Kithnarrock. Something he could use to his advantage.
He took several steps forward, wading into the calm of the ocean as his zyed-cloth robes submerged up to his waist but no further. He funnelled the flow of the Force into the water, creating under water platforms upon which he could walk as he stepped away from the shoreIntrude?! No... I am no intruder. Arrakan is my home, little one. They may have taken you from me once, BUT I HAVE RETURNED! You dare raise your blade against Kithnarrock?! What is your name, so that I can ensure your memory is erased from those whom are faithful...It might have seemed an unfair fight against him, but Shaxad did not require a blade to win a fight. The Force was powerful enough a weapon to turn Legions into dust

Ki..Kith...Kithnarrock? The delphinoid telepathically projected, his jaw slackening to the point where the coral lightsaber hilt held between his teeth fell from his mouth, boiling the water as it fell towards the depths below. High Priest Fli'ppa was stunned with disbelief, and yet...he could feel a great swell of the eternal sea contained within this being that walked the surface of the water before him, a power he hadn't felt since the Leviathan creator of the Duor still walked among them. And he had just blasphemed against him. Trepidation gave way to guilt, mingling with just an appropriate amount of fear as the High Priest of the Church of Kithnarrock came face to face with the deity he worshipped so fervently.
How was this possible? He didn't want to believe, not after the heartache and years of suffering, yet the proof was plain to see. Yes, this form was different than the giant squid like Leviathan of Kithnarrock's previous form, but there were unmistakable similarities as well.
Forgive me! Projected the despairing Duor, his risen torpedo body falling back to the surface of the water until his belly slapped the brine and his bottle nose prostrated itself in a zealous display of piety. Great Kithnarrock, creator of Arrakan and master of the sea, this lowly vessel before you is known as Fli'ppa, High Priest of your temple in blessed Kearleonis. I beg you, my lord, forgive your devoted servant for not immediately recognizing you. These years of darkness have smothered all hope from your children. I did not want to believe...but here you are, returned.
To show his sincerity, the delphinoid rolled over onto his back, submerging his blow hole and exposing his belly to this new avatar of Kithnarrock. Should he choose to strike him down for his insolence, he would accept his fate.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemAs the hilt dropped from the Duor's mouth, Shaxad barely regarded it as he reached out with the flick of a wrist and took hold of it. He drew the hilt through the water and up into his left hand as the High Priest hurried to introduce himself and plead for forgiveness. As the behemoth of the deep, such a relic now belonged to him as he examined the craftsmanship. His focus was not torn from the weapon until the Duor rolled over upon his back and exposed his stomach.
Even without having to torture such information out, he now knew just a bit more about those whom would be his future faithful.
He took several steps forward to bring himself up alongside the delphinoid. He turned the hilt in his hand for a moment, as if preparing to activate the blade and strike the High Priest down. But instead, he extended his right hand out and laid it to rest upon the Duor's stomachMy Chosen, you have proven worthy of my gift... My forgiveness is not easily earned Little One, but you have shown regret for your actions. If even the most faithful of my followers could make such a mistake, it would be unjust to strike you down...As he removed his hand from Fli'ppa's stomach, he lowered his other hand and offered the saber hilt backI have much work yet left to be done. The outsiders must pay for the trespass they committed against me... But first we must unite our people High Priest. Arrakan must stand as one. Will you aide me and prove your devotion? Cleanse the galaxy of non-believers and heretics...

Fli'ppa's jet black duor eyes widened in genuine shock. Truly the great and noble Kithnarrock was as merciful as he was wise. Upon seeing the creator of all Arrakan offer the High Priest his great-saber back, the delphinoid didn't hesitate to accept, drawing the coral hilt from Shaxad's hand with a telekinetic tug. The coral tube flipped end over end in the air, until it finally dropped straight into the clamshell pouch on his...hip? Unclear. The High Priest patted it secured in place with a slap of his left flipper, then rose out of the water, seeming to dance across its surface as his tail fin swished back and forth. The seaweed robed duor performed another backflip for good measure, expressing his joy with echo-locational clicks.
Nothing would please me more, mighty Kithnarrock. He telepathically projected, bobbing his head up and down. The joy of this miracle ebbing as he was reminded of what the land loving scum had taken from him and all of Arrakan. For what they have done... He grit his teeth tight enough to draw a single bead of salty blood that ran down the length of his torpedo shaped frame. ...there can be no forgiveness.
He was curious why the Creator had chosen to return to his people in this much smaller form, but the High Priest was not so foolish as to question the will of his god. His eyes drifted downwards, beneath the brine and down into the watery depths below, towards the capital of Kearleonis. The others, they must be told. When word spread of Kithnarrock's return, it would unite the duor as never before, perhaps even compel them to action. After all, they had not be idle in these days of darkness. Fli'ppa, like most of the genetically superior duor, had filled his heart with darkness and kept his flippers busy.
They had been preparing all this time. Slipping down into the water until only his bottle nosed head protruded, Fli'ppa motioned to the ocean depths. There is something you must see.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemThe minds of those most devoted were the easiest to fool into believing what ever story you required. Just as the Deep Ones had called upon and corrupted Prophet C'thyl, so too now would Shaxad do the same to High Priest Fli'ppa. Kithnarrock would become just another name by which he was knownYour devotion is a shining example for all of the Duor...Shaxad allowed the water platform supporting his current position to lower down, the water swallowing his cloak up and then rising up above his head as he looked down toward where Kearleonis should be. With his current form being born primarily of the Quarren race, he could exist just as easily above water as he could beneath itShow me, My Chosen, what ever it is...Gathering the Force toward his form, he waited until Fli'ppa motioned toward their destination before launching himself with the directed power of the Force.
Vaxhu, meanwhile, remained upon the surface as he tended to the Manta-class Infiltrator. He sorted through some supplies whilst also working on figuring out what might be missing for once Shaxad returned and began work on his armour and weapon

Shaxad's incredible speed caught the delphinoid by surprise, quickly launching him into a rapid flurry of of echolocational clicks as he struggled to keep sight of the returned Lord of Arrakan. The High priest was forced to marshal his hate, bubbling inside his blubber like a cauldron of caustic acid, then using it to enhance his duor physique. No one could match the duor in terms of speed beneath the surface of the water, except it seemed, Kithnarrock himself. Mimicking two torpedoes fired from a submarine, they sped deep beneath the waves, down into the dark depths where the light of Arrakan Prime could not penetrate. A great rent in the oceans crust, like the ripped open wound of the planet after giving birth to a titan (perhaps Kithnarrock itself), spread out before them as they descended into a geothermic chasm set beside the great city of Kearleonis. Those depths were far from uninhabited. Others of Fli'ppa's kinfolk could be found in every dark corner, equipped with welding goggles and plasma torches as they pieced together the durasteel bones of metallic skeletons belonging to warships. Brawny battrachs sharpened the lethal edge of blaster spears on grindstones, absent sparks perhaps, but still echoing throughout the surrounding water as metallic filings were shaved from gleaming blades. Since the time of your... Hmmm, how to describe the parting of Arrakan from its deity? It surely wasn't death or destruction, for here he appeared before him, returned in presence even if possessing an altered form. Exile then? ...banishment, your servants have been preparing for the day where we might take our revenge. Preparing for war was more like it. Some of the forming shapes were reminiscent of MonCal designs, though with a clear Arrakan flare and twist. Corvettes, cruisers, the makings of a marauder fleet to turn the tides of hyperspace red with landwalker blood. A pair of angry submersible TIEs roared past them like hungry piranha after a savory morsel of meat, causing the High Priest to tumble end over end until he managed to correct himself, finally slowing to a stop beside Shaxad as they overlooked the underwater industry. The quarren-esque person accompanying the High Priest drew the notice of dark eyed duor and dimwitted but dedicated battrachs. Several swam up to greet them, more came to investigate and perhaps threaten, failing to recognizing the great Leviathan in their presence just as Fli'ppa initially had. The High Priest's right flipper swept out in a fascist salute, silencing them with a motion. Turning to his deity, the delphinoid beseeched the Creator for understanding. Please, speak to them, Lord. And they will understand as I have. I know it.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemAs they dove deeper and the darkness enveloped them, Shaxad's own eyes adjusted so that he could see in the spectrum of light best suited for the depths. He brought himself to a stop then as they arrived to their destination in what appeared to be a deep ocean shipyard operation. It seemed like the most faithful of Kithnarrock had been spending some time preparing to enact their vengeance. A process that their small numbers had meant was taking them a long time. But something that he was certain would soon change. With his presence here as the great creator returned, more would swarm to the cause. But these zealots, they would be rewarded first and foremost.
He remained unmoved as they surveyed the shipyards and the TIE Fighters zoomed by, his power over the ocean allowing him to create a bubble of calm that the turbulence splashed against and around until it died out. His focus, instead, was upon the gathering crowd of Duor and Battrach. When prompted by Fli'ppa, he extended his arms out to the side in a welcoming gesture whilst his voice rang out beneath the ocean clearlyFear not, my children, for I bear no grudge against those whom do not recognize me. Instead, take heart, for today the dark days of sacred Arrakan are over! I, Kithnarrock, have returned! Reborn into the physical realm once more! But in my absence, I have not sat idle. Once before, I was foolish enough to give aide and shelter Jedi and Rebels, vainly believing that when our hour of need came they would be there to support us! But instead, they abandoned us when the Empire attacked! My first mortal form was destroyed and none of our supposed allies were anywhere to be found! The light failed us! Failed you! But you never lost faith in me! I was forced to wait and sleep whilst my power recovered enough, and I stand before you once more, an Avatar of my greater power! He brought his hands together and interlaced his fingersYou have been my most faithful followers, and your sacrifices shall be rewarded greatly! The Age of the Duor is about to begin! Those whom are not of Arrakan shall be destroyed! Vengeance shall be gotten for those that betrayed us! Let it be know that I have returned! He gathered the Force to himself, his anger and hate intensifying as he spoke, until he let out a shock wave from where he floated in the ocean. A beacon, so to speak, to let Arrakan know that its master was here

Any disbelief quickly dissolved in the face of the unleashed Force fury rippling from the vision of Kithnarrock's tentacle clad form, causing a quick exchange of glances between the duor while the dimwitted battrachs bowed their beaked turtle heads in a clear display of subservient submission. It started slowly at first, just a couple echo-locational clicks at the beginning, but the chant was soon picked up and became a chorus that could be heard clean across the ocean.Eie-eeee-eeeeeeeeeeeheee! Kithnarrock! Kithnarrock! Kithnarrock! Thought projections deafened the mental mindscape of the dutiful duor as they collectively telepathically expressed their own obeisance to the Leviathan Lord reborn. High Priest Fli'ppa was equally awed, though he was not as easily swept up in the chanting, his thoughts racing like a firaxan shark after a scurrying selkath. The Creator's return could be the spark needed to ignite the passions of the duor and reunite them as a people in shared cause. More so, this avatar of Kithnarrock shared the darkness that had taken hold of their delphinoid hearts after the betrayal and destruction wrought by those land-based scum. He needed to take hold of this momentum and swim with it as far as his flippers would take him. Channeling the bitterness that encircled his spirit like an ensnaring sea-snake, the High Priest plucked a blaster-spear from the hands of a nearby battrach with a telekinetic tug, wrapping his right flipper around it before descending towards a protruding rock. He banged the butt end of the haft on the stone, eliciting a resonate clang, a tone of the ocean deep.Throw open the doors of the Coral Palace of Kearleonis! His mind cried with the fires of holy wrath. The King, our Creator...our God, has returned! Heed His words and obey! Prepare thy-selves for war!Every brutish battrach present banged their blaster spears on whatever stone surface they could find, some even using their armoured chests as a sounding board, causing ripples in the deep waters as bubbles rose towards the surface. The duor spun and twirled in an exultant undersea ballet, their collective hate manifesting into reality in the form of geothermic vents roaring with released gas, as the chant reached a crescendo.Fli'ppa floated to his Lord's side, bottle nose bowed in reverent display. Arrakan is your to command, Lord, but there is something else you should know. His black eyes seemed to light in those dark depths, as he turned his attention deeper into the underwater trench, towards the ocean's very bottom. The trident you forged...it remains. We have been safeguarding it ever since you were taken from us. None dared to draw it from its coral plinth. Even at that range, it was possible to sense the Force imbued relic, an object of the Light at odds with the darkness that had settled into the spirit of Arrakan.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemAs expected, and hoped, his little speech had garnered the reaction he had been hoping for. He let the currents of the Force wash over him as they were stirred up by the chaos of those gathered here to listen and work. Word would spread across Arrakan like a fire upon Kashyyyk. More would soon be drawn to their cause, something Fli'ppa seemed to sense as well as he took up a weapon and ordered the doors to the Coral Palace be thrown open. A Palace would be a perfect base of operations from which he could command his new Legions of followers and direct a war.
His focus was drawn back to the present as Fli'ppa addressed him, speaking of a trident that Kithnarrock had once forged years ago. Indeed, he sensed it more than saw it in the dark depths of the ocean. There was an aura about it which seemed much at odds with that which surrounded it. A rather literal spear of light in an ocean of growing darkness that would spread to encompass the whole world. His gaze remained upon that point of light in the darkest depthsLet us go on and retrieve my spear then...There were many amongst the Darkside that would fear approaching an object so obviously bathed in the Light. But Shaxad was not afraid. The Light was strong, yes. But the Darkside was far more powerful, especially when wielded such as him.
He shot down through the depths, the shadows wrapping him like a cloak as he descended further still until at last arriving upon the floor of the Ocean. His sight adjusted once more to allow him better vision down here. Showing off the many coloured splendour that were these depths. Colours that filled the spectrum of light beyond the physical range made it possibloe to see as if he were standing upon the surface once more. Plants and life that thrived in these forbidden depths stretched as far as the eye could see, and there, upon the plinth as mentioned, stood the Trident of Kithnarrock.
It stood resplendant in gold, reflecting the light that struck it.
Shaxad strode across the Ocean floor, his gaze and focus entirely upon the weapon he was soon to take up as he gathered the Darkside to his right hand. As he closed upon the Trident, the water started to flow with great speed whist the water between his hand and the haft of the Trident started to boil. Shaxad reached his hand further out, encircling the haft as the water, and then air, boiled and turned to Steam.
As his hand ensnared the haft, tendrils of Darkside energy wrapped around the golden metal and pierced it to the core. Gold quickly started melting away, revealing the cold silver metal underneath, which definitely had not been there before. As more of its new form was revealed, the differences became more stark as new designs sprouted to life and formed solidly to shape. The Trident stopped fighting the hand that wielded it as the last remnants of the old golden trident were whisked away on the currents, leaving Shaxad with a weapon of his own command and design. He pulled the weapon free of its plinth before turning and tapping the pointed butt end against the stone, sounding out a loud echo of metal against stoneHigh Prophet... it is time to reclaim my Throne...

Rubbery Dour lids widened as Fli'ppa witnessed what he could only describe as a miracle, another among many, the first and foremost being the return of the King. He could hardly hide his shock as the resplendent gold gave way to a far more sinister design, speaking volumes about the difference between the returned Kithnarrock and his previous form. This new avatar of the Creator was not a benevolent god, but a wrathful Lord filled with a fires of vengeance, eager to reclaim what was taken from him. The pious delphinoid descended to the ocean floor and pressed the white of his belly to the slimy sediment at the bottom in another display of obeisance.
Had his ears deceived him? The Creator had not referred to the High Priest by his current position within the Church, but rather addressed him with a new title: High Prophet. Yes! His warm blooded heart beat faster. His years of faith were finally being rewarded. He could see it now, the seas of Arrakan full of the faithful, bowed in pious devotion as he delivered a furious sermon. But first, before that could happen, there was still something standing in their way...
Lord... He used the reverent title of address not as one might refer to a royal noble, but rather in the singular, as in Lord our God. ...Arrakan is with you; however, there is one slight issue you may wish to rectify before delivering your wrath to the stars. The grand city of Kearleonis, in your absence it has been led by a council of dour, democratically elected... Fli'ppa spat the unpleasant flavour of those last two distasteful words from his mouth, which didn't really work underwater but I digress. A foolish notion of course, learned from the Rebel Alliance that turned its traitorous back upon you and Arrakan. Still, as ridiculous as it may seem, these heretics may object to your return. There was no question they had been a thorn in the side of the Church of Kithnarrock over the years, stripping it of much of its power, as they attempted to lead the Duor away from its religious roots to separate church from state. It may be prudent to address these traitors sooner than later.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemThe change in title and position was, in the grand shceme of things, minor but certainly an important distinction. Whereas the role of High Priest set Fl'ippa up as the mediator between mortals and their god, as High Prophet he would be the voice of Shaxad. He would lead, and the others would follow after seeing the gifts bestowed upon those whom swore loyalty to their faith. He reached out and touched the tip of the Duor's nose when the newly raised High Prophet had prostrated himself before Shaxad.
His features remained unchanged and impassive as Fl'ippa spoke then of the democratically elected body that had been charged with leading Arrakan since the death of Kithnarrock and the fall of the Empire. It was, honestly, unsurprising that some of these fools had been taken in by the Rebellions promises of Freedom and Democracy. Despite its overtures of equality and accountability, those within power stood above those that they were supposed to serve as representatives. It was them that would object the loudest, as they sought to claw back and hold onto the power they now held. They would be difficult to distinguish from those that had an earnest interest in Democracy to the common folk, but Shaxad knew their hearts well.A minor inconvenience... But an important matter to deal with... We shall summon them together under the guise of a meeting and offer those wise enough a chance to renounce their power and position back to me. Those that resist... Shall become an example for all about the corruption inherent in Democracy. We shall act in the public eye, so that all can see my return and know that it is true...

It felt like an electrical shock coursed throughout the delphinoid's body when the embodiment of his faith placed his hand upon his unworthy snout. He touched me! The Lord touched me! He swore in that moment that he would never wash his bottle nose again, which would be a difficult oath to keep given that he lived in the ocean and was constantly being washed from a technical standpoint. The physical contact only served to strengthen the duor's resolve and embolden his faith. His aura exuded an awed reverence towards the sinister Shaxad, who in the High Priest's black eyes was everything, his entire reason for existence.
With your leave then, Lord, I shall call a meeting at the Coral Castle in Kearleonis tomorrow at High Noon. That should provide enough time to muster a sizable force of spiked shelled battrach.
Though it spiritually pained him to break contact with Kinarrock, there was work to be done, and a world to bring into compliance under a god returned.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemVery well. Go forth as my messenger and gather our enemies together...Shaxad waited until Fli’ppa had sped off away to see to the summoning of the council, before rising up from the dark depths back to where the workshops lumbered ever on. His mind reached out to the surface, finding Vaxhu still there and waiting. The new High Prophet would serve well for commanding the Duor, but Vaxhu was indispensable as his right-hand - willing to do anything and everything commanded of him. Vaxhu did not need to be lied to.<< bring the ship down to the depths. I shall have work for you to do here soon. >>Barely a moment passed before Vaxhu’s reply came through.By your command, My Master.Several minutes passed before the Manta-class came plunging down into the depths. A pair of Battrach directed the ship down into a hangar bay that was hidden in a shelf of rock, where Shaxad was floating in wait. The rear doors opened, allowing the humanoid form taken by the Behemoth of the Depths to enter. Vaxhu was soon rifling through his collection of weapons, making his own preparations for the battle ahead. Blood would be spilt, for those ignorant fools that clung to the falsehoods of Democracy were rarely removed from power and position without violence.

The Next Day... At the heart of Kearleonis, the Coral Castle shimmered resplendently as the rays of the Arrakan Prime penetrated the depths and bathed the capital of the water world in light. Peaceful duor swam through the streets, going about their business, though the mood had changed drastically since word had spread that Kithnarrock had returned. Many were skeptical, having yet to lay delphinoid eyes on the Creator returned, though the rumours spread as rapidly as wild fire in the forest of Endor. Everywhere one looked, duor and their battrach man-turtle servants could be seen gossiping about the news, uncertain what to believe, with many holding out hope. None were as excited as the regular parishioners of the Church of Kithnarrock, who desired this outcome since the days of darkness following the Empire's attack that took the great sea Leviathan from them. It was they who High Priest Fli'ppa turned to first, mustering a sizable force of fury eyed zealots armed with blaster-spears and garbed in coral and clam-shell armour, which waited in several loyal households and businesses close to the Castle. In his finest sea-weed robe, Fli'ppa swam into the great hall, stopping shy of a marble plinth crusted in barnacles. He rested his flippers on the dais and bent his bottle nose until it was pointed at a semi-circle of floating duor that made up the Council of Duor. While not officially a member of the council, as a revered member of the clergy of the dominate religion on Arrakan, Fli'ppa was a prominent enough figure to call a meeting of the council. He had done so under the guise of putting forth a proposal. None so far as he knew were aware of the coup waiting to happen. Performing a bow, the delphinoid began to address the council.Respected representatives of Kearleo... Before he could finish, Fli'ppa found himself cut off. << Spare us your words so we might be done with this. Where is he? Hmmm? We've all heard the rumours. >> A rude council member snorted. << Kithnarrock returned, indeed. I'd sooner believe the seas of Arrakan had all dried up. >><< Echo. >> Said another. << You are far too hard on our simple minded priest here. The faithful were always fools to begin with. You can hardly fault him for believing such an absurd notion as the Creator having returned. >><< Agreed. If anything, poor Fli'ppa here should be pitied for his stupidity. He was never the brightest duor, even for a priest. Did you know he received the lowest grades of anyone in his genetic engineering classes? It's sad really. >>The waters around the High Priest began to boil as rage bubbled in his blood.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemAs soon as the sun had started to rise up over the oceans under which Kearleonis was located, Shaxad and Vaxhu had swam up from the depths to a point in the waters above the City. There, they waited patiently as much of the commonfolk milled about their daily lives. But even from this distance, Shaxad could still sense his confederates moving about and making their preparations. However, his focus was soon drawn to the Palace, where the council had gathered and was underway. His grip tightened upon the trident as the fools began trying to mock this whole affair.
Good, let them lull themselves into a false sense of security.
Just as the moment was right, he focused the water behind him into a solid surface, off of which he launched himself down. A sonic shockwave rippled out from his point of origin and rocked several buildings in the city when it hit. Shaxad himself, meanwhile, hurtled down and crashed through the massive doors into the Great Hall, landing upon his feet. The impact cracked the marble flooring and caused a small roiling cloud of dust to emanate outwards as the Behemoth rose to his feet and struck the metal butt of the Trident against the ground.SILENCE! Dullards! Heathens! Shams! Traitors! He strode through the hall, striking the Trident upon the floor as he walked, ensuring that all focus amongst those gathered was upon him. He moved up to the dais and stood in front of it, turning to face this so called CouncilSet your gaze upon me and know the truth, that I am Kithnarrock returned! Or perhaps you are the ones too simple minded to understand... A demonstration perhaps...He planted the Trident down with his right hand and raised his left hand out toward the one known as Echo. He focused a sphere of space around the Duor and drained all of the water from that spot, leaving the one known as Echo to suddenly and gracelessly flop upon the marble flooring. The oceans bend to the will of their Master, and I am that Master! I do not look as I once did, true enough. But that is purely because of the Jedi's treachery! Not only did they betray us once, allowing the death of my first body at the hands of the Imperials. But upon my physical rebirth, they sought to put me into a slumber for all eternity! They did not want the rightful Lord of Arrakan to return to his Throne! They knew my anger would be upon them! So they conspired! Not only amongst themselves, but with some of those within these very chambers! He strode over to the edge of the bubble and settled his gaze upon EchoTell me, my child, did you conspire against your own creator? Against your own father?! No... You are too weak for that...He clenched his fist, causing the bubble to collapse and the water to crash down upon Echo. Shaxad's attention turned toward the rest of the councilI am as vengeful as I am loving. Confess your sins, prostrate yourself before me, the true Lord of Arrakan, and all shall be forgiven...

Echo gasped as the water collapsed around him, once more giving him buoyancy so he wasn't floundering like a fish out of water. The delphinoid sputtered and coughed, clearing some of the rushing sea water that went down his blow-hole. On the other side of the councils semi-circular table, two of the duor stared at each other conspiratorially, clearing concerned that they had been found out. While Shaxad was not the real Kithnarrock, he had actually hit upon a hidden nugget of truth that had long been concealed from the rest of the citizens of Kearleonis. Two of the council members had in-fact sold out the original Creator in exchange for lining their own treasure chests with pearls. They nodded at each other, coming to a consensus in that moment, then exploded into motion. The two delphinoids fired through the water like a pair of torpedoes towards the council chamber doors.Seize them! Chirped Fli'ppa, still recovering from the perceived Creator's awesome display of power. Before the delphinoids reached the exit, the doors slammed closed, as a pair of spike shelled battrachs forced them closed from the outside, locking the council in the chamber with their god-returned. The other councilors, still stunned by everything that had happened, gave in to their fear and swam after the two fleeing duor, taking them by either flipper and pressing them to the cracked marble floor before Shaxad. The High Priest, now turned Prophet of the one true Lord, floated next to Shaxad, displaying a bottle-nosed snout full of teeth fixed into an evil duor grin.

Arrakan - Sulphis systemShaxad did not make a move to try prevent the pairs escape, instead trusting in the allies they had amassed outside to stop their flight. And stop it they did as the doors into the chambers came crashing to a close. He then waited patiently as Fli'ppa gave the command which the other Council Members quickly enacted and grabbed their traitorous co-councillors. Shaxad calmly approached the pair and bowed forward a little, getting a better glimpse of the two DuorGuilt always seizes us into rash decisions... It makes us think we can escape punishment for our transgressions. Yes... Your hearts are filled with greed and contempt! I'd ask what the price was to sell your souls, but... We'll see what remains of it soon enough. But before that, judgement must be passed...He raised the trident and spun it around before striking first one Duor and then the Other right into their foreheads. The trident was quick and lethal, ending their lives and causing their bodies to begin to float up as their colleagues let go. Many recoiled in horror at what they saw, but they feared more what would happen to them if they spoke out. Shaxad set the butt of the trident down againFear not, for these two chose to run instead of admitting their sins and asking forgiveness. No harm shall come to you. Beseech my chosen High Prophet for forgiveness over the horrible lies you have spoken of him and then cede power of the Duor people back to their rightful Ruler. I shall reign as God-King once again and bring about a new era of prosperity for the Duor!
