Aboard the Silent Observer
Znalost began to do a bit of light research before he reached Korriban. The Tomb guardians were his goal, if he could capture one then he could bring it back to his laboratory on Iridonia where he could began trying to recreate them. The Blackguard would have the beginnings of its ground forces, a type of soldier whose loyalties could never be question for they would be completely obedient. After reading more information on the myths of Korriban and the Valley of Golg, Znalost was certain that he found a tomb that housed these guardians. Although the exact coordinates for the tomb were not mention in any of his findings, which meant that he would have to follow the stories that were told of the these guardians. It was frustrating to be sure, but if it was the price that must be paid then so be it. Project Lazarus would be a success he was sure of it. Znalost quickly exited out of his research so that he could focus on exiting out of hyperspace as he was getting close to Korriban.

The massive Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer, an instrument of war created by the First Order, entered hyperspace from Iridonia's Orbit, embarking on the first stretch of the journey to Felucia. This gave the crew of the ship, as well as the Sith currently on board, the chance to prepare for the inevitable attack against the Jedi Order. Tensions were high and there were a lot of unknowns going into this, but as Harlan had grown to trust the Sith'ari, he was fairly confident that this was going to be a smooth operation. Or at least as smooth as it could be, all things considered. Sipping his mug of tea while he stared off into the swirling depths of hyperspace, he began formulating exactly what his plan of attack would be, once they arrive in orbit above Felucia.

Luxeria progressed down the halls of the star destroyer, following the lights provided as a guide. They would have some time before they reached Felucia, giving her time to prepare. Over the course of the past few months, she had faced things she never imagined, things that had truly challenged her, some despite her belief otherwise. From the Jedi outpost on Vandelheim, to the remnant Sith warlords of the Lost Tribe on Kesh, the alchemy creations of Palpatine on Mustfar, an finally the spirits of the Force Nexus on Pzob. Each provided a new challenge, giving new insight on how to fight. With each mission, her knowledge grew and so did her experience. Now, they would soon face the core of the Jedi, their main base. In the coming days, they'd send a message as their home came crumbling to the ground.
However, there was one small thing that tugged at her mind. Stopping in her tracks, she looked back from where she came, back in the direction of the War Room. Viox had wished to speak privately with Vasari, something that drove her curiosity. What did he wish to speak to her about? She had little in the way of knowledge to help form any theories. The only possible thought was the relationship between the two women. Their relationship, their bond was growing by the day. With all the time they had spent together since Mustafar, they had really grown close, come to understand more about the people they were. And she was certain this wasn't the end of it either.
But she knew she didn't need to keep her attention where it didn't belong. If Vasari chose to tell her of their conversation later, that would be her choice, if she was given permission to do so. Right now, she needed to keep her focus on what was important: the raid on the Jedi. Taking a deep breath, she turned to continue down the hall to the chambers provided to her.

When they were dismissed Vasari had cast one more look around the group before standing and turning to follow Luxeria out of the War Room - intending of course to secure her own living quarters with the few things she had brought on the mission and begin her research about the Planet that she now new to be their target - she had much to do. That along with the fact that She had things to discuss with Luxeria before the mission as well - there were certain things about that planet that she had heard that someone with Luxeria's talents really needed to be made aware of. It was these thoughts milling about in her head that had caused her initial reaction of blunt and honest surprise when Viox had asked to speak with her privately after everyone else had been dismissed.
As she stood there waiting for the others to leave she felt her partners mind down the hall and the curiosity that flowed from it - it was true over the last several months their bond had become stronger than any she had ever had. Was her friend right... is that was this was about? When they had returned to the ship had it been that obvious that the Force Meld the two had begun on Mustafar had brought the minds of the two young Sorceresses dangerously close together. As she moved closer to Viox's position at the head of the table she wondered even then if such a thing had not been intended when Viox had paired them together on Mustafar. The Blackguard seemed to be uniting into one single unit - but perhaps Viox still held some doubts about their adopted members. All of this she held within her mind - deep within the Labyrinth beneath sea of thought but the focus on this topic and caused her expressions to become visible and while her thoughts might have been hidden from prying eyes and ears her expression was clear. She had no clue why she was here...
"How might I serve Sith'ari...?"
She spoke with a strong voice, one that would not be cowed by his presence, his shear amount of intoxicating power, and his perpetual aura of rage and chaos that seemed to follow his mind. She had caught first sight of it on Iridonia the first time they had met - her reaching to far to find out what it was had gained his attention and she had tumbled into the blackguard from there. She saw it again on Kessel - but there she had seen the power unleashed (even if it was restrained) and the sight truly was one to behold, but last she had seen it on Mustafar - the darkness of that place had effected him as well, even though he had done a marvelous job of realizing it - the Battle Meditation that she had made common practice on missions had picked up the harnessing of power she could not even begin to quantify. That power frightened her - though she would never allow that fear to manifest itself in anything more than a healthy respect for someone that could kill her as easily as look her general direction.

Observing the rest as the left, he noticed Luxeria's slight hesitance at leaving, and the surprised look in her eyes. Despite the fact that Luxeria had become quite capable of hiding such things from even one such as himself, each of those under him had slight tells, tells that could be discerned with enough observation. And the same surprise crossed over Vasari as well. Though she buried the thought quickly. But not fast enough to catch a glimpse of what had caused the pair to react in such a way. The bond between them. Powerful and strengthening with each passing mission. A sign of unity among the Blackguard. An unintended side effect of paring them together on Mustafar. Though they certainly seemed to make the most of it. As the last of the occupants filed out of the room, Viox finally spoke.
"Your concern over the bond developed between you and Luxeria are of no particular importance to me."
Waving his hand to telekinetically shut the door behind the last occupant, he continued speaking.
"I have watched your progress, young Nightshade. Your prowess and confidence in your own growing abilities has accelerated my schedule, slightly...
He then turned his focus on the holo-table. He cleared the images of Felucia and brought up images of a previously encrypted ISB file.
"You may have noticed the lack of my apprentice, Lord Xakire. Becoming a double agent for the ISB was his suggestion and I made it happen out of necessity. Keeping an eye on the First Order's agenda is always something I consider important. Having someone that answers to me directly was key to ensuring I could either meddle with or avoid the First Order's plans accordingly. Since his latest posting, all contact has ceased. He has disappeared without a trace..."
Being a very intelligent individual, Vasari probably could already tell where this conversation was going.
"I have tried to contact him through various channels, to no avail. Which is where you come in, my dear."
A small smirk crossed his tattooed lips. He knew Vasari wanted this since their first meeting at the Academy on Iridonia. But, due to the fact that he already had an apprentice at the time, he wasn't about to go against Sith tradition. For the most part, traditions meant nothing to him, but the odd few were still somewhat important. And Vasari had been a raw acolyte, fresh out of the academy at the time. She needed discipline and training to prepare herself for the tutelage of the Sith'ari. His training regiment was designed for Zabraks. And so far, only two humans had actually managed to succeed. One more than the other, but that wasn't the point right now. With Xakire MIA, it was time to utilize the potential of the recruits he currently had. And Vasari was next in line. He had been watching her progress with great interest.
"I am extending the offer to you, to become my new apprentice..."
His smirk changed to a full on grin, knowing full well she would willingly submit to his request. But it still brought him great joy, knowing that she had been anticipating this offer since they had met.

Vasari exhaled slightly and shared the relief at Viox' words through the telepathic link with Luxeria hoping to set her curiosity at ease as well - knowing how she can be. Her back straightened a bit as she had noticed Xakire do upon occasion though she had no recollection of why he had done it with her. She blinked at his words as he continued - more comfortable now that it didn't seem like she was in trouble for anything that had by chance happened over the last several missions. Talk of her prowess and confidence caused her to wince internally - though she gave off no outward sign of such discomfort. After Mustafar her habit of passing unnoticed was nearly impossible - it was time for her to change tactics slightly.
"The Academy you took did their job well, but my knowledge has only doubled since joining with the Blackguard."
Her mental state seemed to relax as well - most of her deeper thoughts would still be inaccessible but she had underestimated his power before and did not wish to make a similar mistake - and as such she sunk deep into the mind of stone technique she had taught herself, and as a result her mind appeared as a placid lake within the force. The fact that he continued to call her 'Nightshade' did not pass unnoticed either. It was the last mark of who she had been before coming to Academy - the last remnant of a forgotten and long dead Clan. A painful piece of her past. She opened her mouth to speak but before she could the holomap of Felucia changed and in the time it took her eyes to scan over the new projection Viox was speaking again. Them mention of Xakire drew her interest as she had noticed his lacking presence and in truth missed him. The mission for the ISB did not surprise her however, his to the First Order had been one of the main things Vasari had teased him about. She never hid the fact that she had no love for the First Order, even when Viox and her had met and knowing now that the Sith'ari was keeping a close eye on their doings did not come as much of a surprise.
"That isn't like Xakire..."
She spoke in a soft whisper, mostly to herself before falling silent allowing Viox to continue. She easily suppressed her empathy for Viox's missing apprentice - She hoped he was ok, but the conclusion she was slowly coming to was that he wasn't bringing this up for nothing. If it was mission critical he would have told the entire group, if he was sending someone into the First Order ISB to recover Xakire he would have chosen a human - probably Luxeria, such a mission would have been perfect for her. Why here, why her. Her list of conclusions were running thin. He paused and when she looked back up at him she found he was looking at her - there was a quiet expectation in his eyes that caused a shiver to run up her spine and then she felt something within the Force, or perhaps her mental calculations concerning his reaction - whichever it was brought a thin smile to her lips only moments before he spoke.
Apprentice. That word echoed in her ears as the feeling she had gained was brought to realization. She had been too busy with back to back missions and then her vacation on Coruscant to worry about what she had promised Viox at the Academy. She stood still for a moment after he fell silent. She did not need to feel his mind or read his thoughts to notice the satisfaction and the pleasure he was experiencing from this situation, and now that she was faced with the decision and the choice he was right - she would submit. Her survival depended upon it.
"Sith'ari..."Her voice was strong and devoid of any hesitance."I accept your offer, and will submit myself to your teachings."
This is what she had trained for - this is why she had come to the Academy on Iridonia - and even with the last several months of memory this moment is what she had spent a lifetime training for. The ocean of her thoughts roiled with emotions ranging the spectrum from pride to fear and most of the ones in between. Parts of her mind were already running various situations and probabilities. Should Xakire return she would be challenged for the right to remain under Viox's apprenticeship which meant it was possible that she would have to kill Xakire to retain the position she had gained in his absence. She did not fear such a confrontation - but it would pain her to watch Xakire die so that she could succeed in her own goals. As the Ocean began to calm she remembered her place - or rather what had now become her place and lowered herself to one knee before her new Master, bowing her head slightly to the ground.

The grin on the tattooed Zabrak's face grew broader as she dropped to one knee and bowed her head. Vasari was ambitious and eager. She was intelligent and headstrong. She was passionate about her training and her thirst for knowledge was second only to his own. She had dared to delve into knowledge buried in the sands of time, only to emerge stronger for it. She was dedicated to the cause. Which is why she was the perfect replacement for Xakire. Though Xakire was an admirable pupil, he lacked a flair for the unknown and sometimes seemed hesitant, whereas Vasari was not. Should Xakire return, then tradition dictated that Vasari and Xakire would duel for his favor. And whoever was the victor would claim their rightful place at his side. However, Viox doubted Xakire's return, at least for the foreseeable future. All attempts to contact him had failed. So either he was dead, in deep cover, or simply unwilling to heed his master's call. Either way, the situation was now dealt with. In the case of Xakire's return, the situation would be handled accordingly. Now, however, was the matter of getting everything settled before they arrived at Felucia. Reaching into the folds of his robes, to an interior pocket, he pulled out a signet ring, bearing the Clan Savage family crest. It was affixed to a plain strand of leather woven into a necklace. The ring itself was fairly plain as well, aside from the crest. What made it special was the fact that it had been imbued with the Dark Side. A relic of times gone by and a symbol of when Clan Savage was in power, centuries ago. No such trinkets or heirlooms were made like this anymore. Hand crafted by one of the smiths within the Clan, it was made from the ores of Iridonia herself. The Motherland. Closing his ring in a closed fist, he spoke to his newly anointed apprentice.
"Rise, my new apprentice..."
While it wasn't Sith tradition to give a newly acquired apprentice some sort of gift, it was a personal tradition of Viox. He had given Amaris Jade his original double-bladed lightsaber, many years ago. And she utilized that weapon with a proficiency he hasn't seen since. Venom was given the unique bronze-hued crystal for his lightsaber, making his lightsaber truly personal. Cain...well Cain was a different story. Cain had been given the gift of a second chance. On the verge of death when he was found, Viox had taken the boy and turned him into the cybernetic monstrosity that he now was. Xakire was going to be given his very own Darth name, however neither of them had the chance to do so properly. And now Vasari would be given a dark side relic from his Clan. Insignificant to most, but in Zabrak culture, it had quite the meaning. Honor, respect and kinship. Something Viox still maintained to this very day, in his own twisted way. He honored the fallen, respected those who fought for him and valued his family. While rarely ever showing the latter outside of Larissa's presence, he did care for his family. Even his son, who wandered Force-knew where. As the words left his lips, the smile faded and he waited patiently for Vasari to rise to her feet.

One stage in her journey was complete, and now another began - she knew when her knee left the floor nothing would ever be the same for her again. Everything she had learned at the Academy whether from the aging masters or in her own time her own way would be put to the test. At his word Vasari stood, her mind had sense calmed and her presence was once again the same placid lake it had been moments before - though there was something in her eyes that was different than a moment ago - a new sense of purpose perhaps? It was clear something weighed upon her now that hadn't before - as if she was faced with some long forgotten task that continued to taunt her with its remaining presence, but regardless she gave no indication that anything was out of the ordinary. Viox would follow the traditions of his people and from those traditions Vasari would learn the secrets behind his power - the answers to all the questions she had been asking since he first came to the Academy and she had met the chaos that was the Sith Lords mind for the first time.
"I will not disappoint..."
Vasari whispered back at her new Master - though the word never really passed her lips. She had always been hesitant with such titles - bestowed at whim and rarely ever warranted. She believed Viox to be worthy of the title - if she didn't she never would have knelt before him - but something about the habit kept her from saying it it. After a moment she considered her options and what this meant for her now - her eyes lingering on the signet ring but refusing to ask after it. She recognized the vigil as being that of his clan - she had seen one herself many years ago passed from one Clan elder to his son before death - that ring was probably destroyed by now. In place of her curiosity about the ring she inquired as to the mission.
"Have my orders changed concerning Felucia, Sith'ari?"
She had been issued a blanket order of destruction and chaos along with the rest of the Order but now she was his apprentice - she no doubt expected many tests and the like to be issued to her over the next several months - perhaps even years. She would not fail in her tests - nothing would stop her from attaining her end goal - not now that she was so close to a position where that goal was actually made possible. It was almost unbelievable that she had even come this far.

A small smirk crossed his face as Vasari rose and stated that she wouldn't disappoint him. He knew she wouldn't, as this was one of her goals. She was ambitious enough to prove herself to him. Despite past...discrepancies, she would prove to be a very valuable apprentice, to be sure. Opening his opening his right fist, palm up, the ring sat with the leather strand coiled around it."No. Your orders have not changed. I have placed a significant amount of trust in your abilities. You will do well with in the upcoming raid. And this...a rather small trinket from the past, but imbued with the dark side by my Clan, centuries ago. A small gift for you. I am sure you'll find a use for it..."She already had a lightsaber and she wasn't one to wear anything more trapping than what she currently donned, in terms of attire. So gifting her battle armor or specialized robes was out of the question for the time being. Knowing she would want to go prepare herself for what was to come, as well as inform Luxeria as to the nature of their discussion, he spoke once more."You are dismissed, my apprentice. I will call upon all of you again, once we arrive over Felucia. Collect your thoughts and prepare yourself for the upcoming encounter with the Jedi. I need everyone at their best in order for this to succeed..."And it was done. It was time for him to head up to the bridge and check in on Petrovsky, and ensure he knew the part he was to play as well. And they were nearing their destination. The last leg of the hyperspace trek to Felucia..Continued here ----> Hyperspace

Fel sat back against the pilot's seat, as was his way after any successful jump. (It remained to be seen just how successful this was...) and turned to look at Melia a moment, who still stood near the tactical station, arms crossed protectively over her chest, one eyebrow raised. I think they're ok, Mel. Honest. Sure, pack a-trouble, but what crew ain't? I don't think any of 'em wants us dead. You think? The former soldier furrowed her brow, and Fel could tell she was looking -- HARD -- for any reason to not trust. Not immediately finding any, she shrugged. Fel's arms flew up in the air, fists clenched tight. Victory! (or as close to acquiescence as one can get with Mel Tervho) Ha! ...I told you! So you're not fixin' to kill any of 'em? the eyebrows narrow, more to tell the spacer where to go, than actually work at deciding anything life-threatening Good. Good. He busies himself with the in-flight checklst for a few moments. Melia waits, knowing he'll unzip soon enough. It was his way. Gonna tell 'em, Mel. Gonna lay it out for them. They deserve to know. Mebbe not Malora, the UA, all of it... but where we're goin', how we're doin' what we're doin'... Why shouldn't they know?
Mel thinks again for a few moments. There were lots of reasons, but none she could think of that superseded keeping a group of people about to head into danger, informed of their options. It's what she'd want. She shrugged again, and Fel smiled. Glad we're on the same page, partner. flipping on the internal comms B-Deck, Officer's Briefing Room, in five, people.

Having established the medical bay as best as she could with whatever she had on hand, Ami-Lee made her way to the Officer's room a minute or two ahead of time, and settled herself against the bulkhead facing the entrance, arms folded over her chest. The diminutive woman had a good place to view everything. She was curious and eager to learn what Fel had in store, though this did not show on her expression, which she maintained as cool, calm, and slightly bored.

*Ellie made her way, albeit a little unsteady, to the briefing room. Without warning, a tug in the force brought her to a stop. The feeling was familiar to her, a person, but her clouded mind had trouble putting a face to it. Then she heard her name carried through the currents of the force, and a face was attached to the speaker.* Vasari? *Her connection with the force wasn't that great at the moment, but she managed to get the name out along with the feeling of slight confusion. Blaming it on the drink, she began to make her way towards the briefing room again.*
*Collecting her emotions and composure as best she could after the strange feeling from the force. Ellie entered the room and took a seat next Ami. She was curious as to why they were all being called in. Was Fel going to tell them where they were headed?*

Aboard The Silent Observer
Znalost still sitting in the pilot's seat, he was almost back to Iridonia where he would start his experiment with the Korriban zombies. He was still smiling though no one was around to to see it and even if there was it, his cybernetic mask hide it from all. Znalost wondered how Doctor Giles was doing back at the laboratory, he proceeded to enter a few keystrokes on the ship's console and sent a message to Giles to have a level three containment cell ready for the specimen. Once back at his lab he would need to have a quick rest before heading back to work. Znalost began to initiate the existing procedure, soon he would be in Iridonia's orbit.

*Damron had made himself busy with checking on his effects. His food processer had made it through without any damage, same with the machine he used to synthesis his serums. His EE-3 Carbine was also in good working order, and some how he felt like it was likely going to be used sooner rather than later. The other things in his bags weren't to damageable, just some shawls and other fabrics he could use to decorate his armor a little more, depending on the occasion. As the announcement made it's way through the ship, he packed everything back into his bags and made his way to the Briefing Room. The reworking of the ships interior made it a little hard for him to squeeze through portions of it in his armor, though he managed, arriving in the room not too long after Ami and Ellie.*

Having made his way to his quarters, he tossed his duffel up onto the bunk. Cramped, but better than nothing. Letting Fel call the shots would be difficult, as he was used to being the man in charge, but he could play nice with others, after all. And so long as they had paying work, he'd stick around. Hearing the announcement come through, Nate tossed off his duster and gloves, ensured his pistol was secured in its holster and left the room. Picking his way through the ship was simple enough. Passageways and corridors that were unsafe were sealed via bulkheads. The remaining passages that were open were rather confining and chaotic, due to the extra support trusses and additional framework added in last minute.
"Damn...Castle would love this."
He muttered to himself as he picked his way to the briefing room. Entering, he noticed the mighty fine doctor, the Mandalorian and the slicer in the suit. Nodding to acknowledge their presence, he leaned against a truss, waiting for Fel to arrive.

*After the captain points him toward the engines Erik makes his way quietly aft, checking various compartments, some with more bulkhead remaining than others. Eventually the young Mandalorian came across a mostly intact cargo bay full of metalworking equipment and much to his delight a complete maintenance tool belt, it had most likely been an internal staging point for the ship's modifications and as such he began to take inventory of the tools and materials available to him. Setting his helmet, polearm, and gun belt down on one of the piles of sheet metal that seemed to function decently well as a table he wrapped the tool belt around his armored waist and made his way toward the engines.
Starting in a far aft crawlspace he begins to take readings and test various levels as he starts to get a general sense of the ship. He is just starting to get an idea of the ship's overall condition when the intercom buzzes with the captain's voice calling for a meeting. He jogs his now somewhat dirtier self toward the conference room, nodding to those present as he takes up a position leaning against one of the extra supports quietly watching the others and waiting for the captain.*

*Ami's question startled Ellie from her thoughts. She looked up at the doctor in confusion before the question sank in. Trying to regain her composure, she whispered back.* "I'm fine. I just...ran into some old friends is all. They were..glad I was alive." *She left out the majority of the conversation, it was something she didn't want to get into right now. Especially since Fel had something to tell them that she would need to keep her focus on.* "I'll tell you later."
