Crystal's eyes widened at Lily's statement, and of course she could not help but to throw her childhood friend a glare. Crystal should have known when Lily and Kassidy were together, those type of statements would just come up. Shaking her head while rubbing her forehead, Crystal didn't know whether to be amused or just groan. "Some things will never change." Was her statement before glancing at both Lily and Kassidy. "You two are still terrible as ever, and you, Kassidy Laree Payne..." Looking at her pointedly, and yes Crystal did go there, full naming her, not with frustration but with amusement "Still being a bad influence to the young one, huh?"
Not saying anything further but just having that smile on the corner of her lips, it truly felt like old times, without a few aspects. Of course back then, she and Stefanie were a couple but now, just friends, Crystal guessed. Before she could go on with her musing though, she heard a knock and to be soon revealed as Horsea here to collect DNA samples from the newly arrived lawyers. When the Kiffar stood in front of the one she now knew as Mazikeen, Crystal furrowed her eyebrows when it was mentioned that Mazikeen was actually shadowing Stefanie. Crystal arched her eyebrow looking dubiously at her friends wondering what that was all about however again her line of thoughts were cut when Horsea spoke directly to Lily about an inmate under MO's custody apparently. Why does that name sound familiar... Somehow that echoed in her mind and unbeknownst to her, it finally hit her when she looked at the lawyers from Honoghr. Of course.
Raising her hand to bid goodbye to Horsea, Crystal went over to Lily's desk just when she was moving that particular file, actually. "I do think that your possible civil suit about that particular person won't happen, Baby Girl." Crystal informed her knowingly or at least she was on a guestimate there. Pointing at the file, as if asking for permission if she could pick it up, Crystal took it after a pause and looked at the side noticing the name and looking at both Kassidy, and Stefanie actually.
"Orion Hunter, should I give this file to you, Stef, or to Kase?" Crystal inquired dubiously as she knew that a certain Brion Hunter was a corporate lawyer that worked with Kassidy, but at the same time she also knew that Stefanie was the defense attorney of the lot, plus her younger sister was seeing that said Brion, she guessed. It was all hazy there, but that was the last thing she had heard when she did inquire about Andrea Strange. She was apparently fine, and had a thing going on with one of her coworkers.
Handing that file to whomever took it, Crystal turned to look at Lily when she was asked if she noticed who that person was standing there at the reception as she walked into the department. Thinking back as she closed her eyes briefly, Crystal replayed that moment in her mind, but then there were a few people there to be perfectly honest. "Either the humanoid or the Twi'lek or the..." Pausing a moment and not listing further who was standing there, Crystal looked at both Stefanie and Mazikeen. "I think I will go with the humanoid, so your protégé, Lily."
