*Two Nebula-Class Star Destroyers, led by two Warrior-Class Gunships dropped from hyperspace just outside firing range of the spaceport. It really didn't matter that they were outside firing range. The bribes had been made, the leaders blackmailed and everything was set. There was only one thing left to do. From the bridge of Phenax Tezzret motioned for one of the droids to open a Comm to the station.*
::This is Tezzret Karuuno aboard Phenax, stand down and submit as was agreed or you will be anhilated.::
*Tezzret cut the transmission and watched the monitors as the defended shut down one by one. With a smirk Tezzret stood up and began making his way off the bridge.*
?Load forty IG's in one of the shuttles and await my departure. Take up a defensively posture and get the planetary defenses up and running. Let whoever wishes to leave to do so but no ships land without my express permission. This planet is mine now and I intend to keep it that way."
*With those final instructions Tezzret left the bridge making his way to the hangar. The small group of ships moving into place around the planet. A wing of A-wings and a wing of K-wings launched from each of the star destroyers to begin patrols. Shortly afterwards a Katarn-class shuttle launched from the hangars of the Phenax and headed towards the planet's surface. The sky's were now his, the hard part was still coming though.*

After the ships had taken up position around the planet hordes of ships began flocking out of the system. Amid the chaos hardly anyone even noticed the katarn-class boarding shuttle dock with the Atheros briefly before returning to the Phenax. Shortly afterward the Phenax from formation and headed out of system before jumping to hyperspace.

The brilliant tunnel of hyperspace ended abruptly, elongated stars fading back into individual pinpricks of light scattered across an ebony backdrop. The M22-T Krayt-class gunship Zealot dropped into real space on the fringes of Anzat's gravitational orbit, an unobtrusive arrival the intention. Immediately the ship's scanners began receiving scattered fragments of unencrypted commlink transmissions.
Spaceport security, pinned by Anzati rioters and requesting support. Half a dozen emergency aid calls, all recounting stories of looting and city-wide violence. Unsecured attempts to contact government rulers; all unsuccessful.
Though Faust's smile appeared as more of a grimace, his pleasure was genuine. Business had brought him to Anzat at a pivotal moment, it seemed. Flayed lips silently offered a short thanks to Kad for the opportunity to perform his rites of worship. Sulphuric gaze lingering on the fleet sharing Anzat's orbit, the Mandalorian applied pressure to the control yoke and brought his gunship down into a lazy dive. While the Zealot packed quite the punch, it wouldn't be nearly enough to contend with the host of warships before him.
No, better to avoid them. He had no cloaking system, but hopefully an indirect approach and the only marginal threat of a single gunship would allow him to land unmolested. Once groundside he could track down Kalehro...and then turn his attention to the conflict engulfing the planet.
The gunship leveled out of its dive, approaching the planet on a course that gave the encroaching fleet a wide berth.

The Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, Brotherhood, exited hyperspace over Anzat. As the ship began to vector towards the planet, the meager defenses were quick to converge on them. The Anzat orbital defenses consisted of two Marauder-Class Corvettes. While formidable, the Brotherhood was a study vessel. She'd take the punishment the two corvettes could dish out and throw out her own level of punishment. As alarms began to sound, Venom looked over to the captain.
"You have the helm. Give them something to fear. My brother and I shall return once we have finished our trials..."
And with a swish of his cloak and the clink of his armor as he moved, Venom was already making his way down to the hangar bay. Sacrificing several fighters, Venom had requested that two shuttles be added to the ship's compliments. As the Supreme had obliged, Venom now had a way to travel without using the large warship at his disposal. Upon reaching the bay, he climbed aboard a shuttle and slid into the pilot's seat, his brother in tow.

Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, Brotherhood Hanger
Valafar followed Venom into the shuttle that would take them to their first trail. As he found his seat Valafar cleaned his double bladed War Axe, he had swapped out the Toff sword for an Iridonian War Axe. The sword was to bulky and heavy for facing their new targets. The shuttle began to take off and head for the planet below, other than him and his clan brother the shuttle had one other person and that was its pilot. Now finished cleaning his weapon Valafar stood up and placed it on his back. He walked over to a window and watched as their fighters took on the defense force, hopefully not too many Zabrak lives would be lost. Funny he thought to himself not to long age he wouldn't have cared about other Zabrak lives, but even since the truth of his lineage. After this trial he will train a squad of Zabrak warriors to be his and Venom's Execution squad, only those without fear of death. Valafar shock those thoughts away as he needed to focus on the upcoming trial. So much fun and much more bloodshed he thought as he let out a small chuckle.

As the two Marauder-Class Corvettes began to engage the Brotherhood, and Venom and Valafar were preparing to depart the ship, a ripple in the Force hit him suddenly. Strangely familiar, yet oddly unnatural. Something powerful was searching for talented Force users. Closing his eyes for a few moments, touching a gloved hand to his temple, Venom searched through the Force, trying to pinpoint the source. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't find the source. Though it seemed to be emanating from Iridonia, which could only spell trouble for the Starkiller brothers. Venon's eyes snapped open and he glanced over at his brother. Surely he had felt the disturbance? Actually, at this point Venom couldn't see many Force users that wouldn't feel that disturbance. After thinking for a few moments, he spoke to his brother.
"There has been a shift in the Force...have you felt it?"
Perhaps the trial set up on Anzat might be put on hold if this disturbance was so powerful...? Venom waited for his clan brother's response.

Out of nowhere Valafar was hit with a ripple within the force. It was strong enough to make Valafar take a step back. Valafar closed his eyes and saw his homeworld Iridonia. Whatever this meant could only bring trouble to him and his brother, but something deep down in his gut told him that they needed to headed back to Iridonia. Valafar listened to the question asked by his brother.
"Yes, Brother i felt it. I think we should go and investigate it. The trial could surely wait until then right?"
Valafar had an idea that his brother felt the same way as he did. Whatever or Whoever caused the ripple, they needed to find it and discover its purpose. Although he would leave the decision up to his brother.

Venom sighed. This was obviously important. As the ship shuddered under a barrage from the approaching Marauders, Venom rose from his seat and made his way to the lift that would take him to the bridge of the Brotherhood. Arriving on the bridge minutes later, Venom issued his order to the Captain, amid the looks of confusion among the crew.
"Disengage from the enemy and plot a course for Iridonia. We're going home..."
Venom trailed off. This would either be the best decision they had ever made, or it would be the last decision they ever made. At this point, there was no second guessing. After a slight hesitation from the captain, the ship fired a return volley to the Marauders, then broke off and accelerated away from the planet, clearing the planet's naturally formed gravity well and accelerating to hyperspace.

Valafar followed Venom to the lift, but instead of proceeding straight to the bridge he decided to head to the armory. Once the lift was back at the hangar bay he took it to the armory. Valafar wanted to get his Tof sword and his armor which was being modified for his cybernetic arm. Once there Valafar saw a Technician working on it.
"How much longer?"
The Technician nearly jumped out of his own skin at the sound of Valafar's voice. It was clear to Valafar that the Technician was clearly deep in thought while he was working.
Jus..just about finished mi'lord. It shouldn't take too much longer.
"Good, i'll wait here until you have it finished."
Yes of course mi'lord
Valafar proceeded to take a seat at a bench in the armory and proceed to sharpen the Tof sword. He didn't know what they would be getting themselves into and wanted to be prepared for anything.

Anzat Orbit - Blackguard engagement zone.
While the Sith'ari was still on his way to Anzat from Mustafar, Grand Admiral Bennette, the leader of the Blackguard Navy, was sitting in orbit above the planet. Four Victory II-Class Star Destroyers, three Marauder-Class Corvettes and one Immobilizer 418 cruiser were engaged against two Imperial II-Class Star Destroyers, three Arquitens-Class Command Cruisers and four Imperial II-Class Frigates. Relics left behind from a previous Empire. Turbolaser fire lanced back and forth between the aged Imperial vessels and the vessels of the Blackguard. Despite their size, the Imp II's were struggling to maintain constant pressure on the advancing Vic II's. And Bennette was pressing her advantage. The Immobilizer of the group hung back, just out of range. Interdiction fields were not engaged, presently. But once the Sith'ari arrived, the fields would be activated, effectively trapping the Anzat forces above their planet and sealing their fate...

Blackguard Victory-II Class Star Destroyer: Dead Space - Anzat Orbit.
The Dead Space sat at the head of the Sith'ari's personal fleet, commanded by Grand Admiral Bennette. Lances of laser fire danced back and forth between the ships of the Blackguard and the Azanti Resistance. Behind the lead Vic-II, the other three had formed an inverted 'V' and were trailing Bennette's ship, firing upon the enemy vessels. The three Marauders were behind and below the advancing Vic-II's. Forming a regular 'V', they advanced at a slightly slower pace, with the two missile cruiser variants taking up positions on the tails of the formation. And the Immobilizer was hanging back, providing support and cover fire, waiting for the arrival of the final Marauder-Class corvette carrying the Sith'ari, his apprentice, Vasari, and Lady Luxeria.
As if to answer them, the final ship arrived. And it was at this time that the Sith'ari answered Luxeria's question.
"Our target is the spaceport. Lock it down and take control of it and we control the planet. However, it is the most heavily fortified location on the surface at this time. So we will be setting down further out on the planet's terrain, and proceeding on foot."
The Sith cast one final glance at the holo-projection of Anzat as the ship shuddered under enemy fire. With a smirk, he issued his orders.
"Close the trap. Engage interdiction fields and press our attack on their forces. And get us to the surface. Double time."
The corvette itself, accelerated towards the planet, as the Immobilizer engaged it's interdiction field, preventing any hyperspace jumps away from the planet. Soon they would be on the surface. And soon Luxeria's final trial would begin...

Luxeria set her gaze away from the projector as she saw them enter a battle zone. Even before their departure, Viox had already sent part of the fleet to begin taking care of everything in orbit. So this attack was meant to happen one way or another. It only became her trial due to her progression. And what a test it would be. Not necessarily of skill, but of her ability to lead. This would prove her effectiveness, if she could be given charge of forces if a particular mission required, not just handle things on her own. After all, the Blackguard wasn't a typical Sith order. Just like the older Empires, there were many under their banner and such missions like this would come up. She had to show she was not just another foot soldier that could wield the Force, but the leader a Sith was meant to be.
Sh turned back to Viox as he answered the question and told them their target. "Understood." While the Sith'ari gave the orders for the current field of battle, Luxeria turned her attention back to the projector. Same pieces were falling into place. With Vasari's aid through her Battle Meditation, they could repel the mental attacks of the Anzati. And with them attacking a place like a space port, the major battle would keep the full ability of their predatory skills at bay. It was the trip on foot they'd have to be cautious of so not to be caught of guard.
That was another part that needed to be factored in. There was little doubt that the Anzati were aware of their presence. A big space battle in orbit would have certainly been noticed. That took away the majority of any element of surprise, if not all of it. Their defenses would be up and patrols would be active. As Viox focused his attention on the battle and getting to the surface, Luxeria became running her hands over the console of the projector, trying to see if they had anything of the space port and their defenses.

The Resurrection shuddered under the enemy fire, but held true to her course. Pressing on, the Sith'ari's personal fleet continued to advance and methodically destroy the Anzati Resistance. Had their warships been properly maintained, this fight might have required more force, but given the fact that they previous Empire had left Anzat to its own devices, the warships that had once been grand and powerful, had fallen into disrepair. And it was showing. Being pushed into confrontation with a more organized enemy, the warships of the Anzati Resistance were failing to perform as they should have been. But even so, they were still putting up a fight. But that was Grand Admiral Bennette's problem. The corvette carrying the ground team continued towards the planet's surface...

Vasari had passed the short trip through hyperspace locked away in one of the small chambers within the corvette with her nose buried in one of the books her master had given her from his travels. She had been learning of a technique to connect her body to an outside energy source and use that energy source instead of her own energy to fuel her abilities, in the case in question, a projection shield meant to stop all manner of attacks, even laser blasts and lightsaber strikes. The way she read about the ability at first seemed too good to be true, but as the book delved into greater detail on the ability and how it was achieved she realized that she had already laid the groundwork for the most difficult part on her own... years ago. The way the Emperor had used the ability was with a great expenditure of power, but after his ritual on Nathema where he had absorbed the power of countless sith lords, he had power to spare, he simply channeled it through his body directly into the shield. Without the access of power such a feat would tear a mortal body in two. Until this point she had written this ability off to be just another power the gods of the force possessed that she could never hope to touch, however there was a passage in one of the following chapters that had caused her to rethink the entire thing. Vitiate theorized... mused is more what he did... that if one could focus effectively on maintaining two thoughts at the same time then the power transfer would be instantaneous. He did not go on to write that it would then take the mind a third split to create the barrier, and a fourth to focus the energy modulations necessary depending on what they were attacking. A four part mental split. This was possible. After that she reread everything she had spent half the trip reading through once just to make sure her theory was sound enough for testing, but before she could triple check herself she felt the tell tail lurch of the ship dropping out of hyperspace, and the chill of her body reverting to real time. She felt cold as always, but it didn't last long. Soon enough adrenaline was rushing through her body as she felt the hull of the ship shudder under the concussive blasts of something hitting them - enemy fire no doubt.
With a reluctant sigh she closed the book and secured them quickly to one another before placing them in a drawer within the chamber. She made sure to make a mental note to remember which ship this was so she could retrieve them later, and with that done she collected her robe around her walked on shakey legs up the corridor to the meeting room where she hoped to find Viox and Luxeria preparing for the landing.

Anzat's Atmosphere - Blackguard Invasion.* *Marauder-Class Corvette: Resurrection
Garbed in the traditional plain black cloak and tunic of a Sith, Viox Savage stood in the ship's conference room with Luxeria, Major Kage and Command Sergeant Sinclair, both veterans in service to the Zabrak Sith'ari. As Vasari entered, Savage cast a glance over to her. Buried in her new books, undoubtedly. Regardless, they would be setting down on the outskirts of the main spaceport. Far enough out to hopefully not attract any unwanted attention, but close enough that they could be at the spaceport within the day. Provided everything went according to plan, and it rarely did. As he was about the speak, the ship rocked violently within the planet's atmosphere. So much so, that it actually threw him to the floor. Lights flickered and sparks exploded out of several conduits along the walls. Warning klaxons blared and the emergency lighting flashed. The ship's captain came over the ship's internal comms.
All hands, brace for impact!
At this point, all the Sith'ari had time to do was slam his prosthetic left hand into the deck plating and curl his mechanical fingers around whatever he could before a horrible, bone-jarring THUD resonated throughout the ship and everything went black...

While she was taught to be prepared for anything, what transpired wasn't one of them. She was still combing over any information she could find about the spaceport, defenses, patrols, even towns and villages nearby. It was so much to consider to seek the best possible result. She had led groups before, but still under the command of someone higher than her. Most times she needed to do little to nothing expect tell soldiers to take their positions, their training and skills doing the rest of the work. But this entire assault would be on her. She was aware that no plan could account for everything and there would always be unexpected hiccups, but it didn;t change the fact she needed to show the Sith'ari how capable she was if ever given command when he wasn't present.
What came next happened so fast. Warnings alarms screamed throughout the room with another calling for them to brace for impact. In mere seconds, she was slammed down into the console she was hovering over before being slung backwards, rolling violently into another set of consoles. It took all she had not to scream in pain as she forced herself to her feet, a difficult task considering the shaking of the ship. Once up, she held on the best she could to the console around her.

The first current of the force did not feel the same in space. On the ship, perhaps similar... like too much compressed within too little, and only a thin sheet holding back the vast nothingness. Beyond she could feel pockets of life, but in between, nothing... no connection, no conjoining waves. It was probably this attuned sense to the living force that caused her mind to give her warning of the impact, but even then she didn't know how to protect herself from it. She wasn't sure what could cause such a concussive shockwave that was powerful enough to overcome the ships unnatural and artificial gravity. When the impact hit the world around her went slow - she lurched forward - her feet leaving the durasteel paneling and flung her forward across the conference room. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Viox and Luxeria loose their feet as well, but it was the incoming wall that held the majority of her attention. She slammed into it with greater force than she would have thought possible and when she crumpled to the floor her eyes flashed with a hint of red as an anger pushed through her and she struggled with the links her mind was keeping. One broke instantly, snapping back into place within the pool of her mind releasing Luxeria, then another strained to breaking... the link she held with Viox, and when that one did not break the next threatened to, instead she released Viox that piece of her mind recoiling as well leaving her light headed but still conscious.
The next impact came as less of a shock, and she found that in part because Kage was half securing her and one other trooper with a firm hand - the one link she had maintained other than her conscious though. She turned and grasped onto his armored arm to right herself an orient her senses before reaching out with the Force to attempt to steady the ship - a pointless labor she soon realized and instead focused on her own footing. Looking over she noticed Luxeria regaining her feet but Viox had slumped to the floor and wasn't moving. She pulled herself from Kage's firm grasp and slid across the durasteel flooring with a gentle force push and came to her Master's side.
"Master..."
She called out hesitantly just under the dull roar of the commands being shouted in the nearby room - no doubt the control room for the ship, or the cockpit, she wasn't sure on this model. Checking once more to see that Luxeria was ok, she focused on reforming the link with Viox and reached out slowly and pressed her fingers gently against his temple probing him gently for any great injury. The moment her mind met with Viox unconscious mind the ship around her all seemed to slow to a halt...

Defeating the Anzati Resistance was complete. Grand Admiral Bennette had managed to route the enemy and secure orbital superiority. As patrols of starfighters began searching the debris for survivors, proper patrol patterns were established to ensure the Blackguard Reborn remained in control of the planet...

Anzat High Orbit - Blackguard Imperium FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform: Desecration
The orbiting defense platform was normally just a safeguard and a transit point for any commercial traffic in the area, though today it housed five ships that had freshly rolled off the line above Mustafar. Newly minted and freshly staffed, the five vessels were docked with the orbital station, waiting the arrival of Darth Akrak. The Sith was given a task to complete and the small fleet was built and sent to Anzat at the behest of the Sith'ari. And here, the five ships would continue to wait until their leader arrived.
