If ever they were to talk about the elephant in the room, it would be Achiira that was the elephant. Looking around at the other four Jedi, two of them Masters and the other two Knights, but Achiira attended as a padawan learner with not even half of the experience of those present. She was the odd one out. It must surely have crossed their minds why she is here, shes the weakest link and quite possibly a liability. That said, it is a great opportunity for her to learn, watch and gain experience first hand in this kind of situation. And as Vakim spoke, it was a situation that surely would test the young padawan.
Achiira payed close attention to Vakim as he gave the briefing, yet it didn't make much sense, it all seemed a little off to her, and something with the way he delivered the briefing disturbed her. She wondered whether she should come forward and explain what she felt on Felucia through the force, but decided not to thinking it didn't matter. "This threat could be of greater danger if left unchecked." What Vakim said had stuck to her mind, it suggested there could be something more to it than just a disease spreading. Achiira was glad to have heard Viv raise her thoughts on this. Alexia's response was also interesting and would be helpful to hear Vakim's reply.
"It seems odd to me that the planet has not yet confirmed, despite the hundreds of deaths over a few months. Which leads me to wonder why we would be going in based on a transmission, that as Alexia said, seems as if it did not come from Bothawui itself. I wonder who else off world may know. Do we know what the disease is? "

Vakim listened as each present their questions about the mission. Each of them was good ones, though he knew he could provide little to fully satiate their curiosity and understanding. Still, he was able to pride some semblance of answers. He could only hope that it would be enough. Taking a breath, he began, working through each question as it was presented.
"Based on what we know of Bothawui, it isn't an uncommon thing for people to go missing or die out in the plains. Hence why the capital has yet to fully believe it is a disease. While the numbers are higher than normal, it is simply possible that the most recent climate change has opened up new obstacles for those that reside there. The disease is but one of a few options. As such, it is currently unclear what kind of disease it is. Other possibilities include mining accidents, wild beasts, or even other groups of people living out there with less than desirable intent against anyone else." He then thought on the transmission they received before addressing it. "As suggested, the transmission did not originate from Bothawui. We picked up a transmission that gave us this information. The decision to investigate wasn't made lightly, but due to the sense of urgency and possible threats it imposed, it was felt best that we send in a team. That being said," He focused his eyes on each of them. "stay vigilant. We did not receive this transmission directly, so much as passing through our systems. It was sent anonymously and we can't identify the source. This could very well be a trap set for us. However, we also cannot ignore those who may need aid. We are Jedi and it is our duty to help others where we can. We can't allow the risk to ourselves overshadow those in need. We trained and prepared for situations like this. Let us remain cautious, but still, let others know the Jedi are still here and ready to lend a helping hand."

Vivikayl slowly but surely seemed to settle more and more as the questions were asked and were resolved by Vakim's answers. Surely the look of seriousness falling on her child-like face would seem odd, but at the same time, a blessing that she was setting herself into the mindset for this mission. Vakim's answer seemed to satiate the Echani well enough that she nodded her head affirmatively towards him as he addressed her question. Still, she couldn't help but pipe up with one final concern of her own.
"Mining accidents and wild beasts don't explain all these people dying out of nowhere, though. Sure, a couple dozen, probably, but hundreds? Something more is going on down there. I can just sense it. What if we're not well-equipped enough to handle it? If it is a disease, we're not exactly a medical team. And what if it is a trap like you said, and we just become a message to the Grand Master?"
Kalli's gaze had fallen upon Alexia with a gentle smile. As she had held her tongue with her own question to address, it seemed that was shared by more than just her. With Vakim taking charge and combating that concern with fluid and unfaltering conviction, though, Kalli was trusting in him leading his team into the unknown. As though to further bolster the spirit of the other's, though, Kalli added to Vakim's speech with her words born from gentle confidence. It was all she could do to combat those outspoken emotions within her old apprentice and to hopefully ease the minds of those she may have afflicted in the process.
"Doubt has no place here, nor does fear. Although we must be cautious about the authenticity of the information, we must also be prepared that it harbored legitimate data and that there are people on the planet in desperate need of assistance. Once we're able to gather a more accurate picture of the planet's status, only then can we further evaluate how we can provide aid. However, we cannot do that without first investigating the claims of the transmission. Whatever we face, we'll face together, and we will overcome."
Kalli's smile melted away some of Vivikayl's concern as the Echani nodded her head towards her old master. Swallowing, though, her silver eyes glanced between everyone in the room as she waited in an uncharacteristic silence for the next command.

Alexia crossed her arms and let her chin rest in one of her hands. She listened to the details Vakim was able to provide. It certainly left a very broad spectrum of possibilities they would have to account for. In the end, the team they had was capable of handling most of them. Vakim, himself, was a combat driven person and she tended to follow the path of a Jedi Guardian more than anything. So facing off with any creatures or rouge people was handled. Even helping clear debris from mining accidents and reinforcing tunnels was easy with the Force, even if it was grunt work. The real hurdle was the disease. No matter how one sliced it, this was only an investigation first and foremost, and with so little information, creating a team to handle every scenario made it harder to accomplish any one task. Truth be told, if it was an outbreak of a virus, a few Jedi with medical skills would do little to help. Something like that would require the entire collection of Jedi healers and medical staff to combat.
Looking up to Vakim, she thought about the answer to her own question. A mysterious transmission sent by an unknown source. At least it had been thought about prior to sending anyone in. And the Chistori was right. They couldn't let the possible risk of a trap deter them from aiding others. They were prepared and could handle whatever threat. If anything, the rest of the Jedi were just a message away and no doubt ready to scramble if the need arose. She would have faith in her team and that this was a true call for help from someone who cared.
Letting her arms fall to her sides, she gave Vakim a nod, her voice strong and confident. "Understood. I am ready to face whatever lies before us. If healing is needed, I can handle some of it." Though more aligned for combat, Alexia had taken the time to learn Force Healing should there ever come a point her comrades needed help on a mission. Up until this point it had never been required, but it seemed she would finally have the opportunity to put that skill to use.

Achiira listened to Vakim answering everyone questions. The way he spoke gave her some reassurance and confidence that the group could overcome whatever it is they may face, disease or otherwise. Still there wasn't a lot of information to go on, and it would seem the others till had their queries about the mission. She didn't know what to think, especially the part about not receiving the transmission directly. She agreed with Kalli and Viv, looking from one to the other as they spoke, but something Viv said made Achiira respond.
"I have to agree with Viv, I too sense it. I feel there is a lot more going on here than we know, mining accidents and wild beasts doesn't add up. Bothawuis may possibly have their own medical team involved given the numbers are so high, so I am guessing we will be looking to investigate foul play. If this is the case, my thoughts go out to those affected, and the dead."
She left her thoughts at that, looking over at Viv who looked less energetic than normal which worried her. As she waited for further instructions, she wondered exactly how much of a helped she would be to a situation as grievous as this.

Vakim listened as Viv and Achiira continued to express concerns on the matter while Kalli and Alexia proved ready for the uncertainties that lay before them. It seemed as if they had yet to steel themselves in the case of such realities. Achiira he could understand. She might have been older and near the end of her run as an apprentice, but she was still learning and stepping into her own. Yet Viv, despite becoming a Knight, was shaken by the unknown. It was true they had to always accept when embarking on missions. It didn't matter how much information was provided, there was always the chance for something to go awry and shatter well thought out plans in an instant. Taking a deep breath, he held out his hands to each other them.
"There are many things we do not yet know. This is true. Our first task will be to land and establish communications while those we can to better evaluate the situation. From there, we can begin to take the next steps. This may come with a sense of urgency, but for now, we will still have time to stop and think before we act. The council is aware of the uncertainties and will have others on standby based on the aid we need. We must remember, we are here to aid and investigate. Without further knowledge, sending in larger teams or specified teams only wastes time and can cause a greater stir. We do not wish to cause any panic with our actions. I know it can stir fear within us, staring into the unknown. But remember, to be a Jedi means to be ready to face the unexpected. Even the most thought out plan with all the information can still have unforeseen events that can shatter said preparations to pieces. We must always be ready to adapt, always ready to endure. That is who we are as Jedi. Whatever the case is down there, we will face it together and we will succeed as such."

Kalli nodded her head firmly as Alexia spoke of her acceptance for what lied ahead. However, it seemed that she was too late from wholly disarming the worry from the Padawan. Nonetheless, Vakim spoke up to further reinforce her words, which would hopefully lend aid to easing Achiira's concerns. Just as she had done with Vivikayl, she reached out to the Padawan within the Force. Instead of manipulating it in such a way that she had with her old apprentice, though, Kalli attempted to wash away the fear from Achiira's mind and instill gentle confidence to trickle through her. If there had been any sort of spikes of adrenaline or rapid heart rate, Kalli had hoped to ease them in a very minor way, so that Achiira would remain none-the-wiser to what was truly going on. The last thing that Kalli desired was for anyone here to act out of the worry or fear, Achiira included.
Vivikayl, however, seemed to have some of her spirits bolstered by sheer words alone. From her old master and Vakim's encouragement to watching her friend remain steadfast and unperturbed by the unknown, the Echani knew that she would need to step up, not only for her team but for Achiira's sake as well. As a Knight, she realized, albeit a tad late, that Achiira may be looking to her--
--which was but one of many unspoken reasons Kalli had hoped to bring Achiira along. This group, Kalli could see, played and bounced off one another with a strange meld that she hoped would play in their favor for this mission. In the short month that Achiira had been at the Temple, Kalli had watched how the three bonded and held each other accountable in their own ways, even if they were wholly unaware of how they rubbed off and affected one another.
"If that is all the concerns and questions, I believe that we have been thoroughly briefed in what is known, and we're all in agreement that we will tackle together what is unknown when we face it together."
Vivikayl nodded her head affirmatively towards Kalli after she spoke.
"How much time do we have left before we reach the planet-side? If possible, I would enjoy a few moments to meditate on all that was discussed here."
"...as would I."
Kalli glanced over in faint shock towards her old apprentice. Meditation was not exactly something she opted to join in willingly. However, that fact alone is also what brought a gentle smile in encouragement to reach the Echani before Kalli turned her gaze to focus upon the Chistori Knight once more.

Alexia listened as the questions continued and uncertainty filled the hearts of Viv and Achiira. She understood that it was far from an easy task, dealing with such unknowns. She wouldn't even lie and say she didn't harbor such feelings herself. She only knew that the team would be relying on her and she wasn't about to let them down. She was a Jedi and so long as she believed in herself, her friends, and the Force, she would be able to handle whatever hurdles this mission threw at them.
Such sentiment was further echoed in Vakim's words. She could see why he was as respected as he was. A man that had come to the Jedi as a criminal for senseless violence was taken and trained in the Jedi way. Despite all he learned, however, he was unable to move past the natural ferocity that was found in his people. But what stood him apart from so many was his desire to turn that hindrance into a boon by training to tame the darkness within him and use it for the light. Because he learned to accept it and live harmoniously with it, he never fell or became corrupted by it. As such, he was a man who knew the hardships of life in a way few ever could. And his words further proved his devotion to the Jedi and their cause. It was a stirring thing, making her proud to have been chosen.
With that lifted and confident smile, she looked to Achiira. "You needn't worry. We are all here to help you and will always have your back. Besides, with your gift of empathy, having you with us will only limit the unknown. Be it from the people to the Force itself, you will be someone who can best guide our path. I have faith you and your abilities."

Achiira listened as the Jedi Master replied, immediately feeling reassured by his words, knowing that he is wise and knowledgeable far beyond herself. She knew what the others thought. She knew that she had come across feared by whats to come, scared and worried. Worried yes, but fearful no. She recognized as soon as she agreed to join them that she was by far the least experienced, only still a padawan, so worry played a part. She wouldn't let them down though, and this was a time for herself to prove that she has what it takes to become a real part of the Jedi Order, and to make Master Shanti proud.
Achiira suddenly noticed that her body temperature had lowered and the sweat gathering at the nape of her neck had lessened, along with the fast pacing of her heart beat. She seemed a lot calmer than when she entered the briefing room, feeling a sense of confidence wash over her. She reached to feel the back of her neck, damp, but not severely wet, a good sign. She wondered for a second, then let it pass, knowing it must have been words from Vakim, and speaking her concerns.
"Thank you for the briefing Master Vakim. I understand that I am young and still inexperienced, but I assure you, and........"She looked around at the others, her contact squaring back to Vakim after ".......the others present, that I will not let you down. I am ready to face it, together, Like Master Kalli said. And I am sure that the force will guide us every step of the way. I too would like to take some moments to meditate and center myself, if there is time."
Just as she finished, she turned her attention to Alexia who offered some words of encouragement, which inspired and formed a gentle smile upon her face.
"Thank you Alexia, that means lot. I know I shouldn't worry, but my abilities aren't as flourished as everyone here, They are still only developing and I can't always make sense of them. I am sure, though, that being surrounded by you all will greatly diminish any unwanted feeling or negativity and worry.
Achiira looked back to Vakim, with a renewed sense of courage and waited for direction.

Vakim listened as the final concerns were quelled and all seemed ready to take on the mission. His eyes then turned to Achiira. He could see now why the others wished her along. It worked to strengthen her and learn from those around her while waiting to be apprenticed to a new master, but her skills as an Empath were what brought her into the conversation in the first place. She had felt something and wished to help even if she wasn't as strong as the rest. She possessed the heart of a Jedi, that much he believed.
Nodding, he smiled though it was hidden under his helm. "You may still be young and learning, but if you believe in yourself and believe in the Force, it will not lead you astray. We must train to become skilled in the arts, but said skill exists for free use of our own will. If you are open to the Force, it will enact its will in you despite your skill." Taking a another breath, he looked back to the rest. "We should be reaching out destination within the next few minutes. prepare as you need while we work to get planet-side. I will alert you all once we have landed."
Giving a final nod, Vakim departed the briefing room, returning to the bridge. "How much longer until we reach Bothawui?"
"We arriving now, sir. Dropping from hyperspace in three, two, one, now." As he issued the countdown, the realm of hyperspace disappeared as the planet appeared before them, growing larger ever so slowly.
Watching it for a moment, he then posed his next question. "What is the status of Phoenix Squadron?"
"Phoenix Squadron is currently waiting for orders in the next system, sir."
Despite the situation, Vakim knew he had to be ready. He didn't want to arrive with a fleet or any kind of attack force and cause a stir if these people truly needed help. Yet he didn't wish to leave himself defenseless should this turn out to be a trap. Not having a fleet of his own, he did what he could while the Jedi back on Felucia prepped a fleet in the case of need by having Phoenix Squadron, a group of twelve X-83 Twin Tails waiting in the system over. It was but a quick jump if Vakim needed them. He just hoped it didn't come to that. "Good. Let's get this started then. Hail the planet." Once he received word that the channel was open, he spoke. Attention Bothawui Orbital Control. This is the Jedi transport Fireblaze. I am Jedi Knight Vakim Terrek. We have gotten word of your situation and have come to aid you in whatever capacity we can. Requesting permission to land.

Although silent save for her one initial interruption, Kalli kept eyes on everyone gathered in the briefing room. Notably, her gaze rested upon Achiira, who seemed wholly unaware of her workings, which allowed a faint smile to curl at her lips. However, once they hit the ground, she made a silent oath to refrain from meddling in such ways again. With her attention split between her old apprentice and Vakim, Kalli waited for clearance to depart and meditate. Vivikayl seemed more reflective than usual, which was both a shock and a boon, but it was also enough of a reason to keep her eyes on her. As for Alexia, the young Knight was indisputably equipped for whatever would face them, as Kalli had assumed. Alexia, like Vakim, was a strong Knight whose progress advanced daily, who paid mind to her limitations yet persevered beyond them to drive herself to new heights.
Once Vakim gave the word, Kalli nodded her head and began her departure from the briefing room with Vivikayl at her side. However, the Jedi Master paused as she walked past the Padawan and rested a gentle hand on the young woman's shoulder.
"Remember that just as iron cannot be refined without the intensity of the fire, your abilities cannot truly grow without the depth of your experiences. We will lean on you as you lean on us. We have faith in you as you have faith in us. Should you need anything, we are all here for you, myself included."
Kalli offered a faint nod of encouragement towards Achiira before she lifted her hand from the young woman's shoulder and departed from the briefing room.
Vivikayl, however, lingered behind for just a moment longer to wink at Achiira before spinning around to face the group. She seemed a bit more like her bubbly self with her beaming smile reappearing like a sudden spark bursting into an inferno.
"What she means is, you got this."
Vivikayl giggled at Achiira before bowing at the waist with a flair of exuberance towards the others. As she picked herself back up to stand stick-straight, she turned on a heel to depart in the same direction as Kalli but waved her hand high into the air. Although she didn't miss a beat in her steps, the young Echani still turned to call over her shoulder one final time before disappearing down one of the many corridors to find her old master.
"We'll see you all when we land!"

Alexia listened as Vakim spoke to Achiira, the Chistori seeking to further the confidence in the girl and her growing skills. It was but for a brief second that he concluded the meeting and departed. Shortly after, Kalli and Viv followed, the former passing along yet another message of confidence and faith, though in a more elaborate and elegant way. It made her smirk, seeing that Viv agreed and chose to specify in more plain, to the point terms.
As Viv made her final call down the hall, Alexia turned towards the exit with a final wave before looking to Achiira. "You won't be alone." It was all she said as more than enough point had been made on her capabilities. If there was anything that needed to be iterated a final time, it was letting her know she wasn't alone and they had her back. With a nod and smile, Alexia departed the briefing room, making her way towards her chamber. There, she would await their landing in final preparation.

Vakim spoke to Achiira more directly this time, lending a reassuring hand to her and instilling some confidence in her as Alexia had done a few moments before hand. She understood why he was the leader of such a mission, and understood his greatness as a Master, the wisdom he possesses and the way he was able to turn the slightest bit of negative emotion into confidence and inspiration was what set him apart. She knew that with his guidance and the support of everyone else present that she would grow further into being a Jedi.
She gave a gentle respective nod toward Vakim, to show she had understood and appreciated his words of encouragement and the orders he gave. Just as she was about to turn to leave the briefing room, Kalli stopped her with a hand placed on her shoulder, offering more words to help quell any of her doubts about herself and the mission. She bowed to Kalli, a gesture of many thanks.
"Thank you Master Starflight, I really appreciate that, and it gives me great comfort to know I have such great teachers, and friends that I can lean into and have faith in me. I will do my very best not to let any of you down."
As she turned away she was stopped in the tracks of Viv, who had seemed a lot more like herself, that overtone of energy really starting to come to life once more, and Achiira was thankful to see it. She gave a smile to the young knight, who didn't give her enough time to make a reply before she disappeared down the hall. Achiira looked out into the hallway, took a deep breath in and let it out before noticing Alexia moving towards the exit from her peripheral vision. Alexia spoke only four words as she looked at her, and Achiira returned a blessed smile that would speak more than words could. Achiira turned to face into the room and bowed a final time before leaving to head to her chambers.

Blue Shadow: Resurgence After a significant delay the hail from the Fireblaze was answered, and a projected image of a Bothan official - not a control officer - appeared on the ships view screens. The surrounding airspace was clear and it would be easily noted that there was little to no traffic coming or going from the planet. While exports from the planet were not rare, the lack of spacetravel and the silence coming from the orbital platform - the planets only real defense of the Space Station above the planet - was no doubt deafening. The offical straightened his jacket and his dark black and silver fur bristled a little as his image fluttered to life.Jedi Transport Fireblaze, you are addressing Rash'yan'tkdow, lord administrator for Bothan Clan Council. Your assistance has not been requested by anyone here, what cause do you have to enter our airspace unbidden? The delay in the answer couldn't have been anything but deliberate, meant to put the Jedi off guard, and while there was no real defenses in place to stop them from descending on their own to the planet, the Lord Administrator spoke as if he had full control of their craft, their destination, and their mission. For anyone familiar with bothan behavioral traits one could tell the Lord Administrator was on edge - akin to the hackles being up on a dog and while he was not baring his teeth quite yet there was a bite and an edge to his voice that would be outside proper protocol for one of his station. In point of fact there was no reason why he would be talking to them at all - if circumstances had been as he claimed normal. If you are in need of resupply or refueling you... will be allowed... to make port at our supply station at Mesa 291, but you will by no means enter the Capital. Safe Travels... Jedi.

The minutes of silence passed by, causing suspicion to rise within the Chistori. Bothawui currently existed as an open world and didn't require any sort of landing clearance, that much he realized. Yet, the permission to land was but a formality. Through it, Vakim had spoken of being here to aid them in their suggested plight, which would typically warrant a reply in some form, even if to simply grant acknowledge their arrival. As it stood, the uncertainties began to grow as he wondered if they had been led astray or that something far worse was transpiring on the planet below.
Just when he stepped up to make another call to orbital control, an answer finally came. Yet, what the Jedi heard only heightened his suspicions. At first glance, the message was requesting they move along, only allowing them to stop to resupply or refuel. It painted the picture that nothing was wrong or if anything was going on, it wasn't at such a degree that they needed outside assistance. But that was just the surface message. So much more was happening that perhaps only the observant listener would catch.
The first was the simple fact that instead of getting a response from orbital control, they got someone else, a Lord Administrator of the Bothan Clan Council. Why would such a man spend a moment sending them that message? Either they were attempting to make a point that nothing was happening upon their world or they were trying to keep it covered up. Next came the behavior of the Bothan as he spoke. With each moment spent talking, the more he conveyed about the situation, be it intended or not.
Giving a nod, Vakim spoke after a few moments of silence, his voice as calm and cool as it always was. My deepest apologies, Lord Administrator. It seems we have had some miscommunication. If all is well, then we will not trouble you further. We will make our approach to the supply station for a quick refuel and be on our way. Once again, you have our deepest apologies for disturbing you.
Once the channel was cut, Vakim looked to the captain. "Bring us in, captain. No sudden movements. Something is clearly wrong down there and I intend to find out what they are hiding." Giving a nod, the orders were given to press forward, following the coordinates granted to them.

The Spectral Prowler made its way through hyperspace, the elegant ship navigating itself through the swirls of blue and white in a beautiful fashion. Since their departure from the Nexus, Kia had briefed the entire crew as to the situation n the planet of Bothawui and the mission they had been assigned. While the Illusionist had suggested it was the Blue Shadow Virus, she made it a point that this was not verified and that not only could it be a disease of some sort, the planet could be enduring other issues instead. As such, she wanted each of them alert and ready to do their part. Her crew was diverse in their skills and she knew that whatever befell them, they could handle it.
With the briefing over, the crew had returned to their stations for the majority of the trip to prepare. Kia, herself, had headed back to her own chambers for a time to meditate, the front viewport casting the light of hyperspace into her chambers. She hoped that she'd be able to commune with the Force so that it could better guide her. As much as she hated Force-users and utilizing the Force herself, she had learned of its advantages in many aspects, so many that she couldn't ignore them once she began training. What she had to keep reminding herself was that it didn't make her all-powerful or any better than those around her. Everyone had their strengths and weaknesses. There were those without the Force that still proved to be her better in multiple aspects. And so long as she stayed true to her mission, she knew that Force and the gifts it gave her would be used as they were meant to be.
Throughout the majority of the trip, Kia had settled into the ebbs and flows of the Force, using her people's gift of being much more sensitive it's ripples and flows to help guide her. She got the sense that something was off and that this wasn't a natural disturbance. There was a force behind it, a dark and malicious energy hidden with the shadows and pulling the strings. Whatever issues the planet was facing was due to the constructs of an individual or group. A definite light to be looking out for, but it still did little more to help her.
Giving a sigh, she removed herself from the currents of the Force, she stood to her feet. She suspected they'd be arriving soon. There was one she wished to check up on to see how they were handling the situation. Moving from her room, she traversed the lower level of the ship down a few doors to the medbay. There, a Twi'lek sat in a chair going over files on her computer screen. Moving over to her, Kia gazed upon the files present before her. "How's it coming along?"
The blue-skinned Twi'lek didn't even look up as the door slid open. There were so many things she needed to look over and study up on and with such a short amount of time, she suspected she'd only be able to figure out so much. As Kia spoke, she sat back in her chair.
"It's coming, slowly. The only real suggestion we have is the Blue Shadow Virus, so I'm able to put focus into studying up on it, but outside of that, it's been guesswork and just pulling up anything I can find that would relate to Bothawui." She rubbed her forehead with her hand. "I only hope that whatever is going on, the disease is something easily able to figure out and treat, or it is one of the few that I've been looking over."
Kia nodded in agreement. There was nothing worse than going in blind. There were just too many uncertainties and variables. And in this case. it was even worse. This required expert knowledge and understanding of diseases and cures. Not knowing for sure only hindered what someone could do to help and delay them as they worked to figure it out, resulting in possible lives lost. Giving a sigh, she then thought on the other task. "And what about containment and transport? Have you got that ready?"
Ayi looked up to Kia for a moment before return her gaze to the computers.
"Yes, though I can't say I'm happy about the idea. We need to worry just about containing and eliminating it, not trying to get some for study. Then again, I know that study is what helps develop better cures and awareness for said viruses. As such, I can't fault him for that order. Still, at least he considers the well being of our crew and the people of Bothawui first and not progression in science. We get samples only if possible and if it's not a risk."
Kia nodded, agreeing with the Twi'lek and glad the Illusionist continued to prove to her what truly mattered over his own desires. "Agreed. That's why I can follow him versus any of these other organizations or Force orders. He's not beyond progressing the Organization and strengthening her with whatever knowledge we can obtain, but he considers the lives of those that work under him and the preservation of life from whatever tragedies the galaxy faces."
Before anything else could be said, she heard Kel's voice come over the speaker system.
Kia, we will be arriving Bothawui in the next couple of minutes.
Kia then nodded before looking up. "Copy that. I'm on my way up." Giving Ayi a pat on the shoulder for support and comfort, Kia departed the med-bay.
Quickly moving up the ladder to the second level, Kia moved into the bridge with haste, taking her place at the command console between the Nautolan and Zeltron. Not a moment too soon either as Kel spoke up.
"Just in time. Dropping out of hyperspace...now." As he made the call, the ship dropped out of hyperspace and the world of Bothawui appeared and began to grow before them. Kia took a deep breath as she knew the mission officially began now.
"We are within range of orbital control. Opening channels for landing clearance."
As the Zeltron spoke, something washed over Kia. Still letting the Force flow through her and guide, something felt off, even more than before at the words spoken. She remembered that malicious energy and had a disturbing thought. Raising a hand, she singled her to wait. "Stop. Do not hail anyone. I have a bad feeling about all of this. I sense that someone is behind whatever atrocities are being committed down there and we can't even be certain that the government themselves are behind it. For now, we'll progress without word. Kel, follow the path I guide us on and have the pair of freighters follow us."
Kia could hear the slightly agitated sigh from the Zeltron as she did as she was instructed. She didn't like the idea in the slightest and the fact that Kia was following the Force only worsened the woman's feelings. Ever since she was given the ship and crew, Makayl had never been fond of Kia. However, Kel nodded without question. Though he, himself, had come to dislike the Jedi and their failings, he had been more open to those with the Force that sought to do more with that power than just talk. He was the first Kia had met and had remained supportive of her decisions.
With the order passed to the two Nexus-class Freighters, the Tempst-class Stealth Transport pressed forward into Bothawui's atmosphere.

Master Adasca's ship, the Shadowbinder, comes out of hyperspace in the Bothawui sector, near the planet of the same name. The Carrion Spike-class corvette remains decloaked, and approaches Bothawui using standard transit lanes.
Aboard the corvette is the Master, along with her Circle of Light bodyguard, and the vessel's crew. The ship's IFF is active, and the traffic control's instructions are followed to bring the ship in towards her destination. Bothawui was a world of information, and the Shadowhunters needed some of that just now, to find their next targets. Evil never slept, and so the Order of the Shadowhunters tried their best not to take breaks when there was work to be done.

The silver-hulled vessel crossed space like an arrow, flying at incredible speed thanks to its powerful engines. It was a beautiful thing to behold, the light of distant stars reflected on its polished surface, like a mirror under a warm sun. Codes were sent ahead, landing clearance followed soon thereafter. Pontia de Leonis, minister of Foreign Affairs in the cabinet of Prime Minister Argon, of the Corellian Coalition, had arrived to negotiate the incorporation of Bothawui into the fledging regime.

It was... over.
Fondor fell.
Duros fell.
Osarian fell.
Even Corellia and her brothers were hammered into submission as the Imperial juggernaut destroyed the last beacon of democracy in the galaxy. Although their tenacious defense and courageous men and women, alongside their stalwart Jedi allies, had managed to fell the mighty flagship of the Imperial Navy, it was too little, too late. The Coalition was no more. And with it, her supporters and citizens scattered to the stars once more. Some of whom had lost their homes once before when the resurgent Empire struck at Mon Calamari and brought about the end of the Galactic Alliance.
A battered and devastated assortment of vessels dropped out of hyperspace over Bothuwai. They had traveled down the Corellian Run, fleeing the devastation of the defunct Coalition and her controlled territories. They had stopped at Osarian, hoping to breathe and relax, yet the Imperials followed them there. A number of good ships, crews, and commanders were lost as the remainder fled further down the Corellian Run, veering off at Druckenwell and onto the Reena Trade Route. There was one place where they could be safe, where they could find friends and allies, and it was with the Bothan clans of Bothuwai.
The battered warships and defenseless civilian ships that made up this ragtag fleet came into the Both system and proceeded for Bothuwai where communications with the Bothan leadership was made immediately. There were some Senators, now exiles, and a handful of officials that made up what remained of the Coalition government with this fleet at least. Notables, like Admiral Gates, were wounded at Fondor. Others, like Valerian Gorgano, were missing. Beloved ones and cherished people were missing, wounded, and dead... today was a yet another hard day to endure.
Graemon Gorgano, sitting upon the bridge of one of the few ships remaining from his fleet, the Nova-class Battle Cruiser, Phalanx, looked out at the oncoming Bothan ships, rushing to the aid of those in dire need of help. The Fondorian was tired... it was evident on his face. So much running, so much scrambling. It was a mess. Sitting on the late captain's chair, he could hardly believe that it was happening, all over again. The Galactic Alliance fell and now the Coalition. All they needed was rest and food. Tomorrow, they could take a moment to breathe and plan for what came next.
He turns to an officer, passing by with some water. Baron Gorgano grabs the young lady's arm slightly.
Can you find my wife for me?
He asks, wondering where Lynne was at this time. He had seen her when they were rushing to depart, but lost sight of her before arriving at Osarian. His brother, Valerian, was missing. Graemon needed answers. Just something to give him hope!
Find Lynne Jameroo-... Doctor... Lynne Gorgano-Jameroo. See if she is on this ship or another, please.
Graemon lets go when the officer nods her head quietly, going about giving water first before making inquiries.

Three battered ships dropped out of hyperspace. What remained of the Medical Fleet were the medical ships themselves. While they hadn't been directly targeted, they still caught some stray shots, and took a broadside or two when they positioned themselves between other crippled vessels. But here they were, the survivors. Lynne had been stunned at the start of the initial battle, so that she and her non-combatants would abandon a rapidly deteriorating situation. When she came too next that battle was over but the next had started. And then another and another. Now there was a chance for rest, but Lynne didn't feel like resting. She had been a part of both the most recent fallen democracies. But now, all they had was safe harbor in Bothan space. Lynne sat in her quarters, alone and in the dark. Her arms rested on her knees and a cup of once warm caf was clutched in her hands as she peered past the cold brown liquid. The fleet had been out of contact for some time. So much had been lost, so many. Her husband, she didn't even know if he had made it, her second in command, was likely captured or dead after he held the line for the medical ships to escape. Not to mention many others who had fallen, fled, or taken this chance to retire. Lynne broke the staring contest with her drink to rub her heavy eyes. Sleep wasn't something that came easily on the run and without her husband, Graemon. A chime sounded from her desk. Looking over, Lynne noted the light on her comlink was flashing. Someone was trying to reach her. She stood and stretched out her sore and tired muscles and crossed to room, setting the ice cold mug down and responding.
This is Doctor Lynne Jameroo, go ahead.
