Zion sensed the sudden spike of the darker side hidden within Louy. Although for many Jedi, he was sure it would be something of a concern, Zion was not threatened by the presence, since Louy seemed quite confident of his ability to control it =Zion Morviael= heh, someone who has found balance in themselves is a perfect fit here to encourage others to do the same. I am sure that the threat your other half presents is quite negligable. It would be a great Honour to have you on board at the Temple. Knight Mentor Sarissa can show you to the Living Quarters, so you may find somewhere to settle in, She awaits you in the lift...

Louy bowed to Master Zion and then to Rebecca. He smiled as he spoke.
I only hope to meet your expectations. I am sure we will see a lot more of each other but until then, Master Zion, Rebecca, may the Force be with you both.
Louy then turned and left the Master's Quarters and headed toward the lift.

Zion nodded to Louy as the man left, before he turned his attention to the seat to his left, where Rebecca was seated, waiting. He could now at last begin to get answers to the questions he had surrounding her not being dead =Zion Morviael= So... How are you still alive? And how are you the cause of what happened at that base?

Rebecca had remained silent as Louy and Zion had discussed their business, nodding in acknodledgement when her name was mentioned. She gave a curt nod to Louy as he made his way out, before she turned in her seat to face Zion as he asked his first question about what had happened "Well it's a bit of a long story, but it is a story I owe you. It all started not long after I was taken back to the base after you guys were forced to escape. I was tied up, my injuries were bad, and they were all celebrating their capture. As several of them came over to try their luck, I grew angry with myself over how helpless I was... And in that moment, something changed. Something deep within me that had been dormant since before I was born, sudden awoke. As one of the soldiers reached out to touch me, I suddenly felt a new energy flowing into my body, as if satisfying a new hunger... and it felt good. I could feel my injuries healing and my strength returning to me. But as I got stronger, the soldier who had grabbed me grew weaker before all his energy was drained. I was scared, but the other soldiers were angry and afraid of what happened and began to try beat me up, but as each one touched me, their energy became mine... As I became stronger I felt a primal rage take over, allowing me to break free of my restraints, before I blanked out. It all seemed like a dream, but I could feel the energy flowing into me as wave after wave of soldiers fell before me... When I finally came to, I was in the middle of the camp, bodies littered the field around me..." Rebecca She paused a moment, getting her breath back as she recalled all that had happened after the base "As I sat there, A man approached me, dressed in a trenchcoat and broabrim hat. He said I should go with him, as he could help me with my condition. Afraid and alone, I accepted his help and left with him. He explained that I had a rare force disease, which had laid dormant most of my life, before becoming active. Basically it makes me hunger to feed on other peoples energy to restore my own strength and enhance it. In the beginning it was out of control, but over the years he taught me to focus and tame my power. It is why I am still alive, because this disease forces me to feed and restore my health. I have tried to resist feeding before, but my primal form takes over and forces me to feed, killing many innocent people..." Rebecca It hadn't been her most proudest moment, seeing if she could starve to death. But as she grew hungrier she had felt primal form awaken and take control, before killing hundreds of towns people and defence forces. She had vowed that day to never let it happen again, choosing either to feed on animals or criminals who had been sentenced to death

Zion sat and listened as Rebecca related her tale, of how a primal hunger had been awaken and killed soo many men. Then of how she had learned to control her power and how she had learned that her disease had a side of it's own if it wasn't fed. He really was not expecting this to have been her answer, though he wasn't exactly sure how he expected her to answer his question, but what ever way it was, it most certainly was not that. But that was neither here nor there, the fact was she was alive after all these years, albeit living a cursed life. But he was slightly relieved to see she had come to terms with it, but then she had always been strong and independant, two aspects he had found most attractive about her. He reassuring smiled at her as she finished, as he could tell by her expression she had regrets from the past =Zion Morviael= It's not easy, having to live with that kind of power. But you have found a way to come to terms with it and prevent it doing harm again. Thank you... For telling me. I'm just glad that you are alive, and I am so sorry for having failed you all those years ago... I will do my best to make it up to you... He then pulled the data chip from his pocket and extended it in his right hand towards Rebecca for her to take, he had collected the data chip as she had asked. It had been quite the side trip to get it, during which he'd found Tigress and almost got himself killed. But then, what adventure had he been on which didn't involve him almost getting killed

Rebecca smiled sweetly at Zion as he appologised before extending his hand out with the data chip. She extended her left hand and placed it on top of Zion's hand, the data chip between them. He really had no reason to be sorry for what happened, she had seen how desparate he'd been to try and carry her along with her brothers. But in truth, he had saved her by leaving her "You have nothing to be sorry for, in fact you allowed me to be free. If I'd had to go back, I would have been forced to return to the cryo tubes and been still stuck in their system. But you gave me the one thing I knew you could grant me... freedom from that system. Yes it came at a cost, but you of all people understand that freedom has a cost, and this is a cost I happily pay..." Rebecca She then gripped the datachip and pulled her hand back, before placing the data chip in a pocket in her coat. She then got up from her seat and walked over to the window behind the desk over looking the forest. She almost felt like she was back on Yashuvhu "... It's all done and dusted. These days I'm just trying to find somewhere for the Prar House to settle down, away from Chiss Affairs..." Rebecca

Freedom, Rebecca was right he was well versed on the matter, in fact he written about the matter some years ago about freedom and it's cost. He was about ready to argue the point when she got up and walked over to the window and looked out of it, dismissing the matter as done and dusted for her. He got up and walked over to the window and stood just back a little bit, taking a breath before moving forward and standing beside her and looking out across the forest =Zion Morviael= I will not argue, but remember the final verse, that's all I ask. As for you and your House, Perhaps you would like to settle here, on Honoghr. This is well out of the way of Chiss affairs, and I'm sure Lady Ice would be happy to welcome you and your people. Mutually Assured Protection. What would you say?

Rebecca kept looking at the window at the forest as Zion came up beside her and ask that she remeber the final verse. "But there will come a moment, when you realise you're caged, and freedom is just a dream.", She knew freedom was a dream, but better to live a dream then be tortured by a nightmare. She then turned her head to face Zion as he suggested she settle on Honoghr "I would say I am skeptical. We have very few friends throughout the galaxy, I find it hard to believe someone I have never met would be one of them..." Rebecca

He had a feeling she might have been skeptical that Ice would be willing to lend help, especially considering the Chiss weren't particularly universally loved out in the greater part of the galaxy. But he had a feeling Ice would be partial to their plight, after all, she'd taken him in when he asked =Zion Morviael= You would be surprised... You should meet with her at the Red Dawn Medical Center just outside Nystao... Zion motioned for Rebecca to follow as he lead the way across the office and back into the turbolift before it took them down through the Temple to the Hangar Bay level

Zion, Prime, and Obadiah all arrived to the first level of the Masters Quarters, before Zion lead the way out of the turbolift. Prime then stepped just off to the side of the turbolift and took up a guard position there, whilst Zion lead the way over to the staircase and then up to the second floor. He then lead the way down to the south end to the kitchen which had been fully stocked with a variety of ingredients for cooking =Zion Morviael= You still remember how to cook yeah?

Obadiah had followed Zion all the way from the Hangar Bay up to the kitchen in the Masters Quarters, seeing this part of the temple for the first time considering he'd only gotten to the first level last time he'd visited the Masters Qiarters. He had a look through the cupboards and the fridges and freezers when Zion asked if he still remembered how to cook. Obadiah chuckled and turned towards his friend =Obadiah Traevis= I think the better question is whether or not you still remember how to cook. I'm still young rememeber, or has your memory begun to fail you? So what did you have planned for a meal? Obadiah stood at the ready to begin helping Zion cook up what ever vague ideas his friend might have with regards to what they could have for dinner

Zion chuckled at Obadiah's comment about whether he still remembered how to cook or not. Thankfully he had spent much of his life sharing cooking responsibilities, and so he had managed to keep his cooking skills well practiced in that time =Zion Morviael= Hmm, I'm thinking steak, with a side of vegetables and chips. Maybe a little gravy as well... Zion then employed Obadiah's help in getting out the steaks, seasoning ingredients, peeling potatoes, preparing various vegetables, and the like. Zion would then start seasoning the steaks, before firing up the massive grill plate and started cooking the meat, while Obadiah attended to cooking the chips and steaming the vegetables. Whilst the steaks were cooking, Zion attended to mixing the ingredients to make his special home made gravy, a recipe that had been handed down to him from his Mother. Everything was ready and plated up, resting on the table in the dining room, just in time for the arrival of Amber, Hikari, Akari, and Zacaiah. Zion and Obadiah were already seated and waiting for their arrival

Amber lead the way as the turbolift arrived to the first level of the Masters Quarters and lead Hikari, Akari, and Zacaiah out of the lift and up the stairs to the second level of the Masters Quarters into the dining room, where she ensured everyone else was seated, before taking her own seat just to Zion's left head, with Obadiah to her left. Ready to tuck into the meal Zion had cooked

Zacaiah, Hikari, and Akari sat down at the table, basically opposite to how Zion, Obadiah, and Amber were seated. When Zion gave the signal, they started enjoying the home cooked meal. Hikari and Akari appeared to remember the taste of the food, whilst Zacaiah experienced the taste for the first time. She was quite surprised that the man had managed to cook such an amazing meal.
Zacaiah looked around the table, before resting her gaze on Zion as she considered what sort of small talk she could make. After all she figured it was a good thing to break this silence that had settled over the room. She then turned towards Obadiah, vaguely recognizing her cousin, who had appeared on the TV in the past, having created a successful game or something like that =Zacaiah Traevis= So... Obadiah right? You invented that Dual Beasts game eh?

Obadiah paused eating for a moment as Zacaiah questioned him about his invention of the game Duel Beasts that he had released in recent years. It wasn't that he had invented it, since his Father was the game's true creator, Obadiah had mearly adapted the game for the more modern age. He set his cutlery down as he steepled his hands, turning his attention toward Zacaiah =Obadiah Traevis= You would be partially correct. As I mentioned to Amber earlier, I merely adapted it from my father's original work. Nearly everything was written and created before I released the game not long ago. In fact, I promised a practice match against Amber to teach her about the game... Perhaps after the meal is done, I can do a practice match with her to provide some light entertainment...

Zion had almost finished his dinner, when Zacaiah voiced the same misconception a good number of people had about Obadiah's work. It wasn't that he doubted his friend's ability, it was more the fact he had heard the story a couple times already and knew full well that Obadiah disliked taking credit for his father's work. He then turned his attention towards Obadiah as his friend suggested a practice match against Amber. Zion smirked at the idea of Amber, to his knowledge an amateur at the game, going up against Obadiah, the champion =Zion Morviael= I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. The first floor should suffice space-wise... What do you say Amber?

Amber had just finished the last of her dinner when her attention was caught by both Obadiah's and then Zion's remarks about a practice Duel Beasts match, acting as a chance for her to learn the game and as a form of entertainment It was an interesting ploy that she could sense the pair were suggesting. The reason she thought it was a ploy was based on the fact it was unusual of Zion to put her in such a situation, considering she had never played the game before, and Obadiah had practically created the game. No doubt Zion had some trick or two up his sleeve, so she would play her part, as was expected of her Amber smiled, placing the cutlery on her plate as she turned towards Obadiah and Zion =Amber Caird= That sounds like a good idea to me... After you Obadiah... Amber then waited for Obadiah to lead the way down to the first floor, ready to accept the equipment she would need to give this game a go

Hikari and Akari were alittled excited by the prospect of watching Amber play this Duel Beasts game, the pair having gotten a hold of some Duel Beasts cards way back on Talus, before they had been captured and cloned by the Angels of Yahweh. Zacaiah could see it as a good potential opportunity to get Zion distracted by the duel and give the girls a good opportunity to kill Zion when he least expected it =Zacaiah Traevis= It sounds like a good idea to me...
=Hikari Morviael= Same, would be good to see Amber give the game a go...
=Akari Morviael= Yeah, go Amber! With that, Zacaiah, Hikari, and Akari waited to follow Zion down to what ever observation area he might choose to observe the duel from. No doubt it would be from somewhere near his desk, since that area of the first level was raised slightly more than the rest of the room. As far as escape plans went, it just meant she would need to activate the cloakfighter remotely and have to provide cover fire both to break the windows and supress the other Cinn Dao in the room

Obadiah finished his food, before leading Amber out of the kitchen and along the hallway towards the staircase, stopping briefly to go into his room where his belongings had been stowed earlier by a couple Jedi Padawans who had been tasked with bringing his belongings up here from the starfighter. He grabbed the spare Duel Blade and pocketed a couple starter decks, figuring it would be a little unfair of him to use his proper deck against Amber, before carrying the Duel Blade out of the room and leading Amber down to the first floor of the Master's Quarters. He then handed her the Duel Blade and helped her get it on, showing her how it slipped over the hand and clamped around the wrist, before the cushioning expanded to privide a soft, but tight fit around the wrist=Obadiah Traevis=Today we are going to be using the Dueal Blade, holographic tools I designed to use with Duel Bests, It's designed so as it wont just slip off willy nilly, but it also wont restrict blood flow or any such thing. Now for this Duel, we will be using Starter decks, because it seems a little unfair to try train you against my best deck. Now here is your deck, I'm sure you can shuffle it yourself... Obadiah then pulled one of the decks out and handed it to Zacaiah to let her shuffle it, whilst pulling his own starter deck out and shuffling it as he moved across the room, ensuring the raised meeting area was off to their side so it could act as a proper viewing area. When Obadiah was well enough away from Amber, he stopped and turned to face her=Obadiah Traevis=Right when your ready... I Challenge You To A Duel! With that he lifted his left arm so the top of the Duel Blade faced Amber, before the main arm extended out. Obadiah then swung his arm down as the extra slot's extended out from the end of the main Blade, before he slid his shuffled deck into the deck compartment, at which point the Duel Blade shimmered several colours as it registered his deck and his Energy Points displayed on his counter. The rooms holographic display then picked up the Duel Blade system and displayed Obadiah's headshot and listed his Energy Points so that the crowd would be able to keep track. Obadiah then waited for Amber to get ready so he could make the first move and take her through the rules

Zion finished his food and waited till Zacaiah, Hikari, and Akari were finished before leading them out of the dining area and down to the first floor of the Masters Quarters, before leading them over to the raised meeting area. He pushed a couple buttons, which caused a number of seats to raise up, before turning around to face the area where Obadiah and Amber were about to begin their duel. Zion then moved to the edge of raised area, preffering to stand up and watch this little duel that the pair were about to have. He briefly motioned back towards the chairs as he turned a little to face Zacaiah, Hikari, and Akari =Zion Morviael= Feel free to take a seat, this might get intense...
