His heart thumped beneath his chest, he gripped the hilt tight and the Jedi looked up at him. Despite everything that's been happening, no matter how much the Jedi's been pushed to the edge of extinction he could sense the small spark of hope in this mans eyes. Bruce usually was a man that did not care, but recent events have been doing something to him. He nodded to the Jedi, eying the hilt he had been holding. Bruce ignited the weapon and raised it when suddenly he flipped the saber down between this mans arms and severed the connected of his cuffs, he passed the ignited lightsaber to him & ignited his own saber as he turned with a fierce strike in the commanders direction. This is it, we're getting out of here now.
Bruce said as the injured commander staggered back behind his Imperial Knights. Bruce started to run in the direction of the exit as the Jedi followed, the guards ignited their blades at the doors until Bruce moved is arm back closer to his chest then released a crushing whirlwind in the guards direction. Getting them out of the way the two of them continued and kept running until they reached the hangers. Two soldiers were thrown out of the commanders ship which was awaiting his return, after they were inside Bruce brought the ship out and left the system. The star destroyers mustn't of been informed in time, but now they were on their way. In the front, the Jedi sat in the co pilots chair. Bruce looked at him then returned to deep space. So how did you get yourself in that mess anyway..
He said to the Jedi, it was clear that the Jedi knew he possessed much power within himself. He couldn't be sure if he could trust Bruce just yet, after all he was randomly selected to kill the Jedi and freed him. Escaping seemed just to easy, the Jedi looked at Bruce. Thinking. Could this be a set up? Some sort of plot to expose the Rebellions location. We were disguised as civilians, three transport vessels stopped in deep space. He thought about it, how they got captured was strange. Basically we were in the middle of Nowhere. That's when a small Imperial fleet appeared, one of the three ships an eclipse. He looked at Bruce. For them to show up like that, it should of been impossible. One in a number i not know of, those were the odds of them finding us there.
Bruce continued to pilot the ship as he thought about it. You obviously had a spy aboard, or someone betrayed the rebellion. There's always an explanation..
He said but the Jedi immediately shook his head. No. To avoid any signals from going out we disabled our communications and any form of communication would also be disrupted the moment we left our point of origin until our destination. Even if someone had given the Empire the location from where we left that random destination in space was one in to many for them to find us there. He fell into deep thought. As if they knew we were going to be stopped there that moment in time...we took to many precautions for them to find us there.
Bruce thought about it, but since he said there's always an explanation, he knew sometimes in rare occasions there were not. Well we're on our way to Tattooine to meet with your Rebellion...i understand you've been avoiding the locations they've been. I already know so don't worry about it, if i were to expose the rebellion it would of been the moment I arrived at that place. The Jedi nodded. So...what's your name.
He said to the Jedi when he looked over at Bruce. It's Marek Aunders...I've been a Jedi for about five years now.

This time traveling business was one big mess, of all dates & places he is now sitting right beside Marek Aunders. Bruce's long lost brother that he had forgotten he'd ever had, but he remained quiet in his silenced but shocked state. The ship soared down into the atmosphere of Tattooing with the speed picking up and the force of the atmospheres bursting against the ship shields until finally the clouds parted and the dry planet of Tattooine revealed itself. So where is this place anyway...where you taking us Marek.
Bruce said, looking to his brother who did not even know of Bruce yet. Mos Eisley...and then we head south. We cant risk someone tracking our ship on the way in from orbit.
He said which Bruce agreed with a nod. So he set a course for Mos Eisley though it wasn't much further from where he already was so Bruce steered the ship and found somewhere to land just outside the city borders. After the two of them exited the ship down onto the ramp he looked to Marek. There are speeders hidden at a safe house, they're there for any Rebel heading home.
Bruce arched a brow then looked over at him. Home?
He said with curiosity. Yeah, once you join the cause, the only home you have is 'Home Base'. Come on I'll show you..
He said while he brought Bruce threw the city. He approached a safe house and uncovered two speeders beneath it just beside the place, he got on one & Bruce got on the other. The two of them fired up its engines when Marek looked to him. Try to keep up will yah?
Bruce laughed and then they were off speeding into the distance. As he followed his brother he begun to wonder what happened, something must of happened to cause them to split up. Bruce didn't feel right, he knew something was wrong in the pit of his stomach. First he discovered the existence of his children, now he's here and Bruce intends on getting back before he's old and grey. One thing he does not know that his very own son was Darth Ra. Something he hadn't found out, something he will one day discover in the making. He noticed that Marek had begun to turn slowly, they raced past a few sand Dunes until Marek had suddenly decreased in speed, when Bruce followed him over the Dune he was instantly surrounded by a dozen Tusken raiders.
Sand people! Watch out!! He got off his speeder & quickly ignited his lightsaber, twisted it in the grip of his hand and got in a fighting stance. Four of them neared him with Gaffi sticks, but one of them had ignited a green blade of their own. He was quite confused but as he looked at this one more, turning to this person he knew these weren't sand people. Wait a minute... He said when he turned to look for Marek when he came face to face with the back end of an assault rifle.

It was very dark wherever he awoke to. It was never a good feeling to wake up amongst the dark, still half blind and freezing cold on the driest planet in the galaxy. Wherever he is, it's deep beneath the surface of those dunes. There was a stone ceiling & he was on the floor half way laying down into the puddle, he felt a presence near him. Bruce immediately got up out of the puddle, stood up & brushed himself off. Someone was standing in the darkness on the other side of the stone door, he touched the stone and knew there was some sort of power here. This cell could even hold him inside, but he could hear the man speak which he instantly looked over. What is your name.
The guy demanded to know, he waited for Bruce to speak. You know these walls may be indestructible, but the rest of this building i can take down. I'd be safe in here..
The man did not react to such a threat. You'd be the fool stuck in there until the flesh rotted from your bones.
Bruce nodded once. True. It's Bruce... He hesitated to continue. Uh um...Bruce Walker.
The man grew quiet. Alright Walker, we're getting somewhere. Now where did you come from and what do you want with the Rebellion.
The man said, Bruce thought that this must be just for cautious purposes. He laughed with a shake of his head. I come from the future! He said raising his voice and sounding sarcastic as if he obviously knew they would never believe such a thing. He planted the palm of his hand against the wall of this cell while he shook his head and mumbled something. He grew silent.
Well if Aren trusts you, I will. The door opened, to Bruce's surprise. He took a look at the man but he did not recognize him, he was let out into the hall until he stopped just beside this man, he wasn't sure how to react to this, was he stupid or did he actually believe Bruce.

He was brought from the depths of this place and into the upper levels of wherever he was. Many of the people here were at work, constantly watching out for Imperial activity just in case they were ever discovered. The man kept walking him threw the base and telling him the different departments at work, how important they are off the front lines and in front of computers. Bruce knew these poor souls did not want to be here just by the sense of frustration though he kept silent because the guy did have a point. He turned around and looked at Bruce as he continued to walk. My name is Dan Boggs by the way...I've been here for about six years.
Bruce was surprised they managed to stay hidden for six years from an Empire so large a single fleet could block out the light of stars. Obviously a bit of an exaggeration but there wasn't quite a word for how large the Empire is these days and sadly, it would only get worse. So how do you manage to take down the Empire when the size of one regiment is larger then this entire Rebellion...it's impossible Dan.
Bruce said until Dan stopped with a chuckle. My friend, the stars are filled with tales of great wars where against all odds the good prevails. Overconfidence has always been the downfall of the Empire, from Ewoks defying the Imperials to some kid who grew up on this planet many years ago taking down a moon sized planet obliterator. The stories don't end there Bruce...we'll keep fighting for this galaxy and we won't stop. Never say somethings impossible...you of all people should know that.
Bruce raised an eye brow as he turned completely towards Dan. I of all people?
Dan smirked as he was about to continue walking ahead. Yeah Bruce...you followed your Brother into the past five years after he shows up. Weird enough I already know your father...Bruce Aunders. Don't take me as a fool, i know more then you think i do. I'm leaving it to you to tell your brother.
Bruce shook his head. I'm not telling him...because I'll be gone when i find out how to get back.
Dan smirked as Bruce followed him again. Good luck getting back...but i already know. Just play your role here, the force works in weird ways Bruce. Can you not see you were meant to be here? Anyway. Follow me to the hanger bay and I'll tell you more about this Rebellion.

Part II: Family Reckoning
''That moment in time when everything stopped, everything in the known universe halted when I, a single man stepped threw the rift in time. Gods forced to their knee's, I learned how to bend the very essence of the force. My soul is damaged, my mind is crumbling. I am dying. To think it would take the power of two planets colliding to get me back here, it was that moment when I looked up in his eyes. The moment when i knew my son was truly lost and that i failed him and the next moment that i had never realized would come, the point in time which triggered the past and it was always about me and him. The failing father & vengeful son.
Everything happened so fast, from the moment Bruce had returned to the revelation of Ra's identity. After the moment had past he could hear Alice running towards the two of them dueling fiercely and Ra's cruel stare directly into Bruce's old eyes. It was all about saving Alice now and preventing the young Kyden from falling into the time rift as it has happened to so many members of this family, except that one girl shaking in fear of her very Brother that was once comforting her, Alice. The father and son continued to battle as Ra's hatred was unlimited, each strike seemed to hit Bruce more brutally. Bruce avoided his next swing as if he swung it like bat aiming at his fathers head, he blocked the Sith lords next swing then tilted the end of his blade when Ra suddenly unleashed lightening as the electricity crackled everywhere. So powerful the lightsaber could not adsorb all of the lightening and most had arced up towards the ceiling, he continued this and the ceiling was ripping apart like shrapnel. Stop this!!!
Bruce shouted at him again as he begun to struggle, his arm growing weak against the lashing lightening crackling all around him against the weight he's putting behind his blue lightsaber. Though it was from out of no where when he felt the power to push on, he swung his lightsaber and the full power of the lightening suddenly arced, when something happened, something the both of them did not mean to happen. The arced lightening traveled off his lightsaber and smacked Alice directly on the chest, she was brought off her feet then hit the wall hard. He noticed the shock in Ra's eyes when he came to a realization, the feeling in the force that scarred Bruce. He stepped away from Ra to see his little Alice against the wall motionless. ALICE!!
Her father screamed, running from Ra & towards his daughter as he came down to his knee's and began attempting to revive his daughter. Shouting each time he failed and almost never thinking of stopping, not caring of the Sith Lord starring at this scene with some sort of revelation of his own. Tears rolled down his cheeks and Bruce had started to cry as he rolled and planted his back against the wall, on the floor next to his daughter. He lifted her in his arms as he sat there in agony, for a moment he could not hear anything. He opened his eyes, realizing Ra had left. He starred into the void ahead of him. He lost his wife, he lost his daughter & he failed his son. Grace.. He cried her name.
The moment in the ball room, that moment when she told him they were going to have kids of their own. When he found the power to fight on, and that moment he realized WHY he had kept fighting his entire life, his children were his motivation to fight on. Kyden rushed in and looked down at Alice in Bruce's arms, her arm limp, no life in her body and Kyden felt this. He starred at Bruce, and he remembered his face from when he was younger. What have you done.
He kissed his daughters forehead and brushed her hair back out of her pale growing face. He placed her down gently and stood up, feeling the age in him, more weak then ever. He finally got up, not looking to his son just yet until he raised his head and looked directly into Kyden's eyes. He starred at Kyden, wishing he would not see the arising Hate that was to come which would forever affect the past and the future. Now finish this son, you're the last piece of the puzzle.
Kyden looked at his sister and ignited his own lightsaber when he looked at his father who he did not want to kill so bad. The hate is what wanted Bruce dead, like he was slowly welcoming it to possess his life. Bruce wrapped his arms around his son, but he told him something. One day you will forget who you are, but you will one day remember these words.
Kyden tried to push away his father. Bruce grabbed onto his shoulder. LISTEN TO ME GODDAM YOU. Bruce said. You can still save them...a place far far away. A place remembered as Myth. I can show you where.. Bruce understood now, the look on Darth Ra's face just before he left. The entity telling the Sith to follow, the look of fear & revelation. Bruce knew how to end all of this, but it would only be this moment in time where he could make it possible. Kyden pushed his father away, understanding his son would give in to the anger. He counted on it. Then suddenly he grabbed his fathers shoulder and drove the lightsaber threw Bruce's chest then removed it while deactivating the weapon.
Bruce put his hand on the back of Kydens neck, put his forehead against his sons head and suddenly he knew why. He grew cold, though a smile crossed his mouth, knowing there was still hope & humanity left within his son as he looked at Kyden. His son hugged him just before Bruce fell to the floor the moment life escaped his eyes. Now it was up to Bruce to fulfill the past.

Four years later (16 Years before time rift incident)
No matter how many times you told me you wanted to leave. You're still here...aren't you Bruce?
Marek said to his brother while he doused the cigar into the stone of the building he had been leaning against, Bruce coughed & the dry winds weren't helping him. He looked to his little brother, who didn't even know Bruce was family. Maybe not all of me...but i think if four years has already gone by I'm here for good. Marek looked at him again.
Well I've been here for 9 and I don't think I'm going anywhere...have you ever wondered why we've been sent back here? Bruce glanced at him. He knew the relation of why the two of them were sent here but he still did not know the exact reason. He shrugged off this topic and finally approached the speeder & his brother got onto the other.
They're expecting us on Hoth right...we shouldn't be late. Marek said but Bruce wasn't listening. A moment later Marek was leading the way back to the ship, he thought about how long he's been here and what he's done. He only heard stories about the Rebellion from his father when he was young, by now the kid was about 9 years old. By now...young Bruce and Marek could be anywhere.

Like always it was white and as cold as ever. He looked threw the white blowing snow just as his brother followed him down the ramp, Bruce threw up the hood of his jacket and the two of them begun walking away while the ramp closed. I've been here before. He looked at his brother. A time ago that hasn't come.
Marek looked at him and thought about what he just said but Bruce hadn't noticed him looking. The snow here was knee deep and tiring to move threw, but as they moved Bruce thought about Marek and telling him about he truth. He would say ''We have a family out there...we're not alone out here. Not like it once was.'' He always thought about it but he never said anything. The two of them finally reached the top of this snow drift & looked out into the distance. I thought they were suppose to meet us right here...right here to be exact.
Marek said as he got his binoculars and started to carefully look into each direction for any sign of a rebellion member but he couldn't see anything, Bruce grabbed his hood and removed it from his head. He remained quiet as Marek looked into the one direction for anything. Bruce turned his head, taking a peek of something behind the two of them. He followed the corner of his eye and finally looked to the sky just ahead of them when suddenly an Eclipse revealed itself in the white skies, it was a sight to see and possibly the last sight anyone would see. The narrow edge and dip just upon the front just two or three kilometers above the ground. We've been set up. Bruce said, starring at the destroyer. I've seen that ship before.
The two of them started to run, running to the ship as fast as their legs could carry them threw this drift. They saw the ship and they were nearly there when all of the sudden there was a loud bang which echoed in the sky, a whistle and all of the sudden Bruce's ship was destroyed. The explosion carried the two of them off their feet and into the ground a few meters away. The ground shook. Bruce opened his eyes and looked over to his brother, the ground kept shaking when suddenly a crack opened up just where they had fallen. And Marek had fallen threw. NO!
Bruce shouted as he slid himself over and dropped down inside the seemingly never ending hole. He dived down and grabbed his brothers arm just as he ignited his lightsaber and drilled it into the ground wall. Ah!! He screamed in pain when both ends came up tight. He hung here in the darkness, holding his brothers arm as he looked up at Bruce. You're not gonna make it back with me.
Marek said sounding weary from the explosion. Bruce gritted his teeth together, feeling the tension in his arms as he screamed while trying to hang onto his brother. He shook his head without saying a word and kept shaking his head. You're not leaving me. Not now!! Bruce shouted.
Marek looked down into the gaping darkness with a sigh until he looked back up. He knew Bruce wouldn't make it while hanging onto him so there was only one way for one of them to make it out here alive and Marek didn't want to be the cause of both of them going down. Though before he spoke Bruce cut him off.
We have to stick together. Do you hear me?! Bruce shouted at him. Stop thinking what you're thinking of. I'll break your arm if i have to hold on hard enough. He looked down at his brother, growing quiet and he shook his head, eye to eye without words and saying. 'You're not going anywhere.' Marek starred back. I should of told you before. You're my brother! Brothers- stick - together!! I'm not losing you again!!
Marek looked at Bruce as he grew quiet when all of the sudden Bruce slowly begun lifting Marek with all of his might. There was a ledge above Bruce's head that Marek could get up to, he felt his wrist beginning to take the toll. Bones bending beyond limit. He was so close, just one last pull. He screamed as his voice echoed threw the crack in the ground & with the rest of the energy he had left he threw his brother up onto the ledge. The ice beneath his saber had finally given out and Bruce started to fall down into the dark hole beneath the ice. The saber had cracked the ice on his way down until he let go after a hit to the head, his body fell the rest of the way in the dark.

His eyes opened at the glimmering lights above him. He's come back from the dead once before, survived intense light saber battles and severe wounds. Could a hit to the head & fall to the ground be his demise? He saw it all. Only now. When he thought about the problems on going in this galaxy his mind was brought to the universe and he would think about how massive everything is compared to the problems in this small galaxy. They were all very much insignificant in comparison, but you shouldn't think like that. Maybe that's just something you think when you've been to so many places and done things no one's ever done. Snow drift fell threw the crevice above him, it was light snow falling inside this place. He felt the cold beneath him but as he came to his senses he could feel that he wasn't on snow, rock or any type of terrain.
Bruce got up onto his feet and looked around, this place was old yet there was something new & fresh about it. The light reflected threw the Ice ceiling above his head which created many colors in this room, in fact it was actually dry down here. Chilly but not as cold. He unzipped his coat and lowered his hood again as he looked about he room, this was much more then a cave. Much, much more. His com link begun to ring, he patted down his belt but quickly realized it was at his feet. He grabbed it and switched the communications on. Oh god It's good to know you're alive.
Marek said to him but soon he was confused. Bruce nodded to him. Its good to be alive. Did you manage to climb to the top?
Marek shook his head. I'm still here. I heard Imperial patrols up ahead, i managed to hide myself beneath the curved ice above me. As far as i know those Imperials think we are dead, I'm just wondering if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Marek said. Bruce agreed with him. Considering our ship is gone and the Imperials may think we're dead. If that's the case our only way off this planet is gone...i found something down here Marek. Is there any way you could climb down?
Bruce said looking up, he couldn't really see anything since there was a slope above him which broke his fall down here. Yeah...maybe. I'll make my way down to you. Just hold on!

Bruce had already wandered ahead by himself because curiosity had gotten the best of him. This place had the same design as that place he once found Alice inside, the gold and silver. This place was more iced over though and it was very, very old. As he continued to wander he could notice the ceiling threw the ice above him like everything here froze over inside and out, then with a quick 'swoosh!' He turned around to find Marek hitting the floor and landing much better then Bruce had landed. Marek got up and looked around, he also instantly knew there was something strange about his place. He noticed Marek studying the ice above his head, he shook his head for a second then looked at Bruce. This place must be at least Fifteen thousand years old...at least. It could be pushing twenty thousand. This place...it predates the Sith Empire.
Bruce looked at him thinking it sounded impossible yet probable at the same time. The floor had aged with cracks but the walls & the ceiling were iced over, beneath it they could see many years into the past. These very walls had not aged, Marek knew it was strange how the ice formed down here but he wasn't doubting any of it. The two of them started to walk ahead, Marek looked at him for a few moments then looked ahead. I just don't understand something. If you're my brother then why haven't you told me anything in the past four years when you arrived here?
Bruce had hoped this wouldn't of been brought up be he knew it was coming. Our family has many enemies and there are people looking for me. I never intended on telling you, if anyone knew about you it would be my fault. Wait a minute..
They approached an entry way to what looked to be the inner structure of this place. When Bruce stepped inside and looked about the larger room he knew he has seen all of this somewhere before, this sent chills down his spine. It looks exactly like the palace...an exact replica. Bruce said when suddenly up in the hallways on the upper level he noticed someone down here with them.

The shadow which casts itself upon the wall had entered the main room, he wrapped his fingers around the ice frozen railing and looked down upon the two men that found this place accidentally. Bruce looked up in the eyes of his son, standing there with much hatred towards Bruce. Impossible.
He said at the sight of his son, Marek looked to Bruce and then back to Kyden. It wasn't a mistake, you coming here. I'm the one who gave you the false information to come here.
Bruce shook his head. I realize now what this, what everything is about. I don't know why we have been sent here...maybe to right a wrong i don't know. I know though, that there's another me out there in another time where I failed. A timeline where I've failed you all, Kyden. That man is not me...
Kyden vaulted over the railing and landed in the middle of the room as he glared at Marek. He looked back to Bruce. I watched Alice die. Now I'll watch you die, father.
Marek had suddenly realized he was family. Bruce looked to his brother. This is my fight Marek, get out of here.
Bruce told his brother who listened, Kyden ignited his lightsaber and so did Bruce. I swear to you, if you put down that saber, together we will change how history has been written.
He said looking to his son. Then for a moment he started seeing things, this very room with the many greedy people. The dancing and drinking, she was waiting for him. Everyone around him, his family blames him for letting her die. Yet he has never even met the woman, even though he is connected to Grace on an emotional level. She was here. Grace is here. Just before Kyden attacked his father Bruce shook his head. Oh my god. Kyden wait!! Bruce said but he was already coming. He unleashed a swift swing so Bruce began by avoiding the swing, he flipped his saber and pushed it up against Kydens second attack. There is still hope Kyden...we can still save her. We can save everyone this family has lost!!
Kyden let down his guard quickly which threw Bruce off balance, just after Bruce stumbled Kyden swung down at his legs but Bruce had enough experience to survive that old trick. He leaped over the saber, then twisted around with a fierce strike of his own, their sabers collided and Kyden starred at him. It's to late! They're all dead because of you!!
Quickly, Bruce planted his hand on Kydens chest and released a force push. Kyden flew into the wall and hit the floor, Bruce raised his saber but he already knew his son was knocked out. He drilled his saber into the ground with an angry scream. He caught his breath, kneeling there and looking to the ice.
