I am looking to create a new crew of dedicated RP characters to be part of an open story that we make up as we go along, with minimal planning, focused on random adventures. To keep it flowing it would have to be a small group, no more than four. If there is more interest we could split into subgroups, as I would like to keep the posts relatively short and sweet, as writing large masterpieces is daunting to some of us (me included!) plus it keeps the RP flowing, easy to write a quick reply, thus people dont wait days for posts.
The crew isnt really a place for out-and-out Jedi or Sith, or any other major force user, but they would be some of the sorts of characters the crew would look to encounter on the RP across the galactic expanse.
There is room here for all styles, all story themes, and anyone interested in having a bit of not too serious fun RP.

To expand on a theme, I would like to run an opening storyline that goes something like this;
A SoB advance team has lost all contact with Bounty Base. Liam and two other senior officers will head to the team's last known location and investigate.
It will not be long before the team discovers the grisly fate of the team, ambushed and gruesomely killed by a group of intergalactic serial killing aliens hellbent on sating their lust for human blood. This group could be made up of other writers, or we can write the opposition ourselves. There's a lot of room for variation, but I have a general idea of the story.

For the forseeable future, the crew will be based aboard a small victory star destroyer, converted to be more of a mobile pirate/smuggler/trading base. In this way we will be able to move our RP between planets, and be close to home whichever system we are RPing in at the time. I would be happy to write meeting up with any interested characters wherever in the galaxy you may like.
Currently the ship and Liam himself are in the Corellia System.

Strikes me that combat is only one side of things. There's a reason the A-Team wasn't B.A. Baracus x 4, but was B.A., Hannibal, Face, and Murdock. Consider the Mandos & Gulliver to be your B.A., but what would Lia be...? (coughcough)Face(coughcough)

There's more than just a pretty face to any beroya, bur'cya. There's more to a warrior than armor. I'm sure- especially with the Crusade, there are places she'll be able to go that we can't. At least, we can't as easily as she can.

I'm up for anything. I'm not complicated or pushy, I will work with whatever, find a way to fit in somehow. [: That's what collaborative writing is all about, right? Cooperation. A team. No matter how mismatched. Besides, that's part of the fun! Plus, every team needs a little estrogen. =P But I've got to say, being new here, I love what I'm reading so far. You're all bubbling over with talent.
...I also really like the 'Like' feature on these boards. I've never seen that before.
Anyway! Liam, been reading up on where you guys are. I don't want to intrude, and it probably wouldn't be Lia's style to jump into a blaster fight. Maybe we could do a stow-away thing? One of you could find her hiding on the ship after you hit hyperspace and we could take it from there? Or she could try stealing from you, or some such sneaky action. Any ideas?
