Dominic met up with Atton as they headed for the Security station, but there was no sign of Tanara. She was supposed to be on her way, but- at that point of his thought process, the ex-Agent felt that 6th sense that he had seemed to develop ping in his soul, that the force was being manipulated nearby. He glanced over at Atton, knowing that he was a force user, but it seemed like they were both just focusing on moving at this point. Right as they reached the door to the station and he was about to take his eyes off of the Jedi, Twi'lek materialized inbetween them. Dominic couldn't help but jump slightly and aim his gun at the form. Quickly realizing that it was Tanara, he just turned his attention to the door. From the pad next to the door, it was unlocked. Why hadn't they locked themselves in, and set a full alarm throughout the ship? It was obvious that there was intruders on board. Whatever the case, they still needed to get in here.
He gave a nod back to Tanara as he leaned against the wall next to the door, ready to move in once she hit the button. He still only had one blaster drawn, he was more proficient with one weapon. As soon as the door released and they moved inside, it was little more than a reflex to raise, aim and fire upon the technicians. There was only four, and Tanara took out two of them, so his shot was singular and into the heart of his technician.
Like Tanara, he paid them no heed after they were dead, pushing one off the consol that he had chosen to take control of. Hearing her orders to route everything to her consol, he went to work doing so. He wasn't the slicer, she was, and she needed things to be done the way that she needed. Just, simple. "Atton, you know how to work these? Or do you wanna play Guard?"

The marching of combat boots against deck plating greeted his ears, and Jashin turned to regard the threat. The scanner pack in his helmet analyzed the movement down the corridor, cross-referencing it with energy signatures consistent with FO weaponry; in all, his HUD displayed that some-odd fifty-five troopers were heading their way. Annoying. Very annoying. Zalor moved without hesitation, dashing out in front and taking up a defensive stance - imitating the same tactic they had used on Dantooine. Jashin chuckled in response, shaking his head. Walking out and around the man, taking up a position to the Jedi's side, Jashin sent the barrel of the cannon spinning once again; red hot, the weapon was showing some obvious signs of stress and fatigue. Hopefully, though, it would last through this battle. Eighty seconds? Gods below, I remember when taking a star destroyer was hard. The blaster cycling, he hefted the weapon meaningfully, before taking aim at the blast doors. Watch out for grenades. I can't toss them back with my hands full.

*Dealing with the techs in the station was the easy part, but computers were another matter entirely. Thankfully, Tanara was there to handle all the ones and zeroes, leaving Atton and Dom to handle the heavy lifting. Not that computer cables counted as heavy lifting.
He turned to Dom.*"I can handle it. You just keep an eye out for more bad guys." *With that, he got to work, doing as Tanara had instructed., Fortunately, it was fairly easy to find out which cables plugged into where. It took a few minutes, but soon everything was now routed through the console. Now for Tanara to work her magic...*

A rip in the cold silence of space formed the tail end of a hyper lane window and from the bluish white flash four ships dropped into real space dangerously close to the only remaining imperial ship in the sector.Nakor stood aboard the bridge of the flagship of the small fleet, a Hammerhead-Class cruiser with the designation The Gadriel’lora’lya viewing the remaining imperial ship through the bridge’s main viewport. They had arrived as soon as they could mobilize their fleet out of Felucia and even then it had taken some time to cross the Galaxy to return once more to Naboo. With his arms crossed firmly behind his back in typical naval fashion he began passing orders to the rest of the fleet and before long the Corvettes began moving to surround the imperial ship. It was then Nakor produced a small round orange - seemingly from no where, and called for a comm line.
::Imperial Vessel, you have attacked a neutral world without provocation, Identity yourself or be destroyed.::
Nakor’s fingers moved deftly around the orange removing the peel from the fruity core without once breaking it into more than a single piece. He would get to the bottom of who sanctioned this raid, and they would pay for the war crimes committed against this peaceful planet.
”Raise shields and prime all missiles, charge weapons but hold back the fighters.”
Having finally removes the fruit from the peel he set the piece down upon the arm of his command chair before breaking a piece of the fruit off and taking a bite, his eyes glaring through the viewport as his Corvettes moved closer to surrounding their target

The blast doors to the main security station opened, and immediately blaster fire filled the room between Jashin's rotary blaster and the returning fire from the Stormtroopers that were pouring in. Above it all could be heard the hum of Zalor's lightsaber blade as he reflected shot after shot. As Zalor and Jashin had both predicted, there were at least fifty to fifty-five troopers in all, and even though many of them fell rather quickly, the group of stormtroopers continued to throw themselves at the powerful duo with reckless abandon. Many of them didn't even bother taking cover behind computer consoles like their wiser comrades, only stood in the open and allowed themselves to be mowed down by Jashin's barrage of fire, just so they could try and get a clean shot at the pirate. Those that fired at Zalor either had their shots reflected back at them, or were violently tossed around with Zalor's telekinesis every chance Zalor had to make use of it. Zalor began to wonder - did they have any idea who or what they were up against? Had they no sense of self-preservation? Was their commanding officers merely using them as a means to slow them down for some nefarious reason?
It took more than eighty seconds for Zalor and Jashin to clear the station of hostiles, but by that time, Artoo had already finished hooking Tanara up to the main console. The first dataport was in the crew's hands, and Tanara would now have full security clearance to the ship, as well as access to all the security cameras and the ship's security droid networks. The droid hid behind the row of consoles behind him so that no stray blaster shots would hit him.
Zalor finished slicing his way through the last three troopers, when he noticed that the rest of them had all been killed. There were blaster scores everywhere on the walls and on a few of the consoles, but Zalor and Jashin both seemed relatively unharmed. Zalor sighed and lowered his saber blade. His next thought was to check on Artoo to make sure he was okay. "All clear, Artoo. You alright back there?"
[Click-click-whistle-beep] The droid rolled out from behind the row of consoles and rolled up to Jashin, as he suddenly began to feel equally as safe next to the pirate as his own master. Artoo beeped at Zalor to let him know that he had already contacted Tanara and let her know that he had succeeded in giving her the uplink to the first dataport.
"Alright! Well..." Zalor turned back to face Jashin, who he could sense was already as tired and fatigued as he was, although neither of them looked or seemed terrible. "...if I didn't know any better, I'd say they were actually trying to kill us that time."
As soon as Zalor caught his breath, he was already motioning for Artoo and Jashin to follow him, and he pulled out his comlink as he turned a sharp left out of the main security station down the hall. ::Zalor to Adi and Tanara - first dataport is ours, main security station is clear. Jashin and I are headed to the second dataport - the weapons array, third deck; ETA three minutes. Everyone be careful - I sense they know what they're up against and they're starting to get desperate.::

Six holographic hard light generated screens suddenly popped into existence around Tanara as Atton finished rerouting all the consoles to the one that the Twi'lek girl had specified. Just in time too, as the message from the blue and white astromech droid came through. The first dataport had been connected. Now, it was time to begin the fun.
Information and code flooded her screens, almost too quickly to keep up with, but not for her. She let her attention to her surroundings fade as she focused on the screens around her, taking nearly half a minute to read the encryption patterns that were filling the displays. She was almost disappointed to find that it was only standard imperial type encryption. She had first cracked these types of encryptions back when she was a teenager. "Alright then. Let's see what they've got..." She then began to actually break into the system, skillfully slipping through the firewalls. The first thing she decided to seize control of, was the surveillance system. She wanted to be able to keep track of her allies, as well as any potential threats that could be in their paths. She started with herself, Atton and Dom. She pulled up the feeds from each direction leading to their small security station and put them on the screens at Atton's console. She then swiftly located Zalor, Artoo and Jashin, and put their feeds on Dom's console, and her fifth screen. She followed up with Adi and Sin, having them both on her sixth screen. :: I've got eyes on you all now. Looking good guys, why not give a little wave? Come on Zal, let's see that farmboyish smile of yours. ::
At the same time, she had also diverted part of her attention to the defensive systems. She found a great deal of toys to play with. She began her fun by closing all the blast doors on the hangar, engineering and living quarters decks, except for the ones directly affecting the paths of her allies. This caused a significant portion of stormtroopers to suddenly become trapped and unable to assist in repelling the scum trying to take their ship. :: Oh look, they have auto turrets installed. :: If she wasn't so focused, she probably would've giggled as she rewrote the targeting algorithm to attack the First Order troopers. It would take a few minutes however, for the updates to go through. It was at this point she noticed a handful of First Order crewmembers trying to get into one of the storage chambers for the Dioxis gas canisters. Unfortunately, she didn't have access to the defences in that section of the ship yet. She couldn't stop them yet. :: Hey Adi, looks like they're desperate enough to use Dioxis. I'd recommend stopping them. Just follow the path of open doors and I'll lead you right to them. ::
She then moved the feed watching Adi to her fourth screen, splitting it with a quickly written program to automatically open the blast doors as he approached them. Pleased, she then shifted her focus to Sin, who was still making her way to the bridge. She still had a little ways to go yet, with a good number of stormtroopers potentially in her path. The Echani would get surrounded if Tanara didn't intervene. Unfortunately, she also still didn't have access to the command deck either. :: Sin, listen up girl. You've got stormtroopers closing in on you. I can't divert them yet, so you'll have to deal with them before they have a chance to surround you. If you take the second right hallway, you can come up behind the larger group and take them out before they know you're there. ::

Adi had been tracking Sinina through the endless halls of the star destroyer, when Zalor stated he was clear at the bridge. Matango grinned....he was relieved he had the right people for this job. Not a minute later, Tanara was on the coms as well, telling Matango about the FO troopers trying to break into a dioxis storage room. With a thumbs up to Tanara as she asked, he let her know that he understood. Following her instructions, Adi made his way down the guided path.
It was less than two minutes, and he rounded the corner to see a group of about thirty troopers, with one officer, feverishly trying to hack into the room. They were almost all facing away from Adi, not worrying about who might be coming for them. That was a mistake they wouldn't live to regret. Continuing to move toward them, slowly, methodically, Adieumus spoke.
"Hello there, gentlemen. Every weapon in the hallway clicked and aimed at Matango in unison. "Now what would nice folks like you want with what's behind that door?"
Adi, who was acting as if he was talking with his bar buddies...seemed completely unafraid of the men. They didnt even wait for the order to open fire on him. They knew what was happening in other areas of the ship, and they did not want to become the next casualty. Little did they know, it was already a certainty, even though the man appeared to be alone.
Blaster bolts flew in at Matango, who continued to walk toward them, batting the bolts that came close enough to hit him away. To the troopers, it would look like Adieumus was bare-handed blocking their shots....where the reality was that the Arkanian had learned how to encase his hands, wrists, and forearms in the force, effectively shielding him from their damage. Each shot that was fired at the former Jedi was sent away as if it were nothing. Adieumus could fear the fear spreading among the men in front of him....and grinned wider. Suddenly, there was a low, drubbing noise that rang through the hall. Every single piece of electronic gear that was active at the moment, including the lights, weapons, and the HUDs inside the troopers helmet went dark. This was where Adieumus truly began to attack in earnest, as he exploded into a blur of speed. Before they even had a chance to react, there was a series of thumps, andtwo of the men in the front simply grunted and dropped. A third had his helmet spun 180 degrees, along with his head, with the 'smiling' face of the helmet a perfect reflection of the dead eyes of the dead soldier staring blankly at the trooper behind him as he fell to the ground. Their weapons started to come back online, being affected only for a few seconds by whatever had shut things down. Adieumus was in full-on speed, moving from trooper to trooper, taking them out as rapidly as he could.
Shots were now being fired in and amongst the group blindly, as they had in the hangar. One by one, two by two they fell....some from their own allies weapons, but most from a very determined warrior in their midst who they couldn't even see to track. Matango grabbed a blaster rifle from one of the fallen troopers, and threw it very hard behind him. It hit the officer trying to hack the security panel in the back of the head, busting the man open and splattering blood across the wall in front of him. The officer's face fell against the wall, and he slid to the ground, mortally wounded. Within ten seconds, the security backup lights came on, showing that no less than half of the men were now dead or dying. They were dropping like flies....and they had been cleared from the door, pushed back further down the hallway as they continued to fall. They tried to run away, but the blast door was sealed. Three more fell as they tried to make it away from the killing machine that was swatting them away like so many insects...and their adversary was moving too fast to even -see-....now, they were with their backs against the wall, with nowhere else to go....
They were trapped like rats.
Firing madly down the hallway, the remaining twelve troops emptied their remaining ammunition from their weapons. They knew the chances of actually hitting a target moving at that kind of speed would be little to none, but each of them were hoping for a silver bullet striking their attacker. One by one, the weapons ran out of ammunition. Audible clicks could be heard as the men frantically tried to get more out of them. The hallway was filled with swirling smoke, further obscuring their view. From the smoke, a shimmering shadow stepped out, and looked at the trapped soldiers. With a strong tone to his voice, Adieumus spoke again.
"Throw down your weapons, surrender immediately, and you will live. Keep them in your hands, and you die. Your choice, gentlemen."
There was no hesitation. The weapons were empty, and useless. Tossing them to the ground, the men knelt on the ground, hands on their helmets. Side mission accomplished. The electronics that had previously been disabled began to come back online, and the lights clicked on one by one down the hallway. MICRO, who had been cloaked *And also had been the one to pop off a small EMP burst, disabling the electronics in the area*, made herself visible, and hopped up on Adi's right shoulder. Opening the comlink to Tanara, Adi gave her the good news.
::Tanara, I took care of our little dioxis problem. If you would be so kind, please seal these assholes in this area. I pushed em far enough away that they cannot reach the room again if you keep them here. I'm gonna go catch up with Sinina. Matango out.::
Adi made his move to turn back down the hallway, when a shot was heard from a blaster at the other end of the hallway. It struck MICRO, sending the small cat droid off Adi's shoulder, and against the wall. The droid hit the wall hard, and fell to the ground, motionless. Looking first at the fallen droid, then to the man who had fired the shot from the opposite end of the hall, Adi reached out with the force, grabbing the man by the helmet, and instantly crushing it...and the head popped audibly inside the crushed helmet, blood running out of the seams at the neck. It had happened so fast that the now-dead trooper hadn't even had time to process what had happened. He simply stood there, twitching in his death throes.
Adi didn't even bother to look. He ran over to MICRO, hoping that the CRD still had its shielding unit operational. As he reached down to the ground, MICRO began to move. Breathing a sigh of relief, he knelt down to the small cat-like droid.
"Thought I lost ya there, Gregory....Glad you are still kickin." "Sorry about that, sir....He caught me off guard. Wont happen again. Glad my shielding unit is still operational....that kind of hurt."
Scooping MICRO up with a laugh, Adi put the cat on his shoulder, and made his way toward the bridge.

*Sin hesitated for a moment on hearing Tanara in her ear. So far since the start of the attack she'd been the only one able to reach through the fog and affect her path. But Sin knew that the next right would take her away from the bridge. Sin shook her head. Not this time. She had only one goal. To get to the bridge, and make the ones in charge suffer. She instead of listening to Tanara, turns left, heading on a straight path to the bridge. Her hesitation gone as she starts to run again. Distracted with her thoughts on Tanara, she ran straight into the back of a Stormtrooper.
OOops...
*The trooper starts to turn, but she stabs both her daggers up into his armpits. She goes to pull them back out, but the left one hooked in. She jerks harder. But a second trooper grabbed her. Pulling her back, her arms behind her. More troopers were running up. The group that Tanara had warned her about most likely. Sin struggles but his grip too strong. She put her one foot on the wall, and "runs" up the wall. She lands behind the trooper still trying to hold her arms, it hurt her, alot. But he let go of her. She turned quickly, grabbing his blaster from its holster and from behind him started firing at the other troopers. Who were trying to shoot her back, most the bolts hitting the trooper she was hiding behind. It wasn't long before the firefight was over. She gathered her things up and ran off.
Finally. The bridge. She took a deep breath. This was it. She had seen the lay out before. She grabbed for two stun grenades this would make things easier. She bursts in around the corner into the bridge. She thought it odd the door was already open. She tossed the stun grenades down into the pits. This would take out the pilots, gunners and anyone in them, she didn't want to have to deal with them all. Her next action. To draw her pistols, to take out first the cameras. If Tanara was watching. She didn't need to see. Then she shoots the blaster out of the hands of the Fleet Admiral. Holstering her blasters, a cruel smile crossed her lips as she strides confidently towards him. He was sniveling already. And she loved it. Backing him up to the viewport. She drew a dagger, still red with blood from her trek. She tilts her head. This. This man would pay the price for the destruction of her home.*

The rotary blaster in hand spun down - the barrels white hot from constant fire, even a casual observer could see that they were warped beyond all repair. With a grunt of disgust, Jashin let the weapon fall to the ground - the final spare powerpack for the weapon dropping along with it. It did well, for a Clone Wars relic. Jashin made an odd gesture, seemingly saluting the weapon, before turning to regard the droid that had rolled up casually at his side. Drawing the E-5c Heavy Blaster Rifle from his back, he primed the weapon and flicked the safety off, before addressing the droid. ...Get away from me. You disgust me. It seemed Jashin would always be a little rough around the edges, no matter how much of a change of heart he had.
Their Commander is an idiot; if he was smart, he'd be detonating the reactor core by now, and dying with honor. Replied Jashin without hesitation. Idly, he took stock of himself. He had his pair of pistols, his vibro-axe, his rifle, grenades, and all his gauntlet weaponry plus his combat knife. He could do some damage yet. If he ran out of ammunition, he could loot the dead for weaponry. Turning to say something to Zalor, Jashin winced slightly, glancing down at his armor and the source of the pain. His armor was pockmarked with carbon scores of various sizes - here and there, the armor mesh suit he was wearing under the suit had deflected some stray bolts, but, in several spots, he had some pretty clear hits. One spot in particular reeked of cooked flesh and melted tissue.
As he reached into his utility belt and retrieved a hypo-syringe - stabbing the mixture of bacta and adrenal directly into his wounds - he felt himself have a moment of clarity. Every single instinct in him cried out...cried out that he needed to run, loot every corpse between here and the hangar, and immediately jump ship. It was true, he had made a lot of progress...he had faced his fear, and had stood beside his...He hesitated at calling them business partners. Because, at the end of the day, somehow...these strange sentients had become his friends.
The very thought made him sick. Sick, but glad he had changed. At the same time, though...what would happen when all of this was over? He was wanted in five systems, and he didn't see these good guy types standing in the way of law and justice. Not when they had heard what he had done. That Vanna Hao, so certain that he was meant for a higher purpose. Damn her. Damn her to the Hells and back.
He'd tried his hand at practically every criminal occupation you could think of. None had made him particularly wealthy. But, damn it if he hadn't felt...free. Now, he had clarity...purpose. This First Order, it needed to be put down like a rabid Akk Dog. But he needed to figure out how to do that his way. Not his family's way, not Vanna Hao's way...his way.
Let's go. Jashin said, simply. He was ready for this to be over. He needed time to think; to think and reflect.

Out of the barracks aboard the ship, a squad of six heavily armed Deathtroopers marched out onto the halls, all of them arming and priming their heavy repeaters. Some of them had stun batons and electrostaves as well. The commotion on board the ship had caught their attention - and without any response from their commanding officers aboard the bridge, the leader of their squad took it upon himself to attempt to regain control of the Star Destroyer and deal with the intruders.
When they had all primed their weapons, their commander barked out orders to his fellow squadmates...
::We're getting reports of Jedi Knights on all decks, and someone is hacking into our systems from Security Station Epsilon on deck two. Four, Five and Six, head to Epsilon and secure it. The rest of you, with me. We've got a pair headed for deck three. Move!::
The group of Deathtroopers split up and took off running in different directions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zalor and Jashin, along with R2, made it to the weapons array control room in under the three minutes Zalor estimated it would take them. The group seemed to have a newfound sense of urgency the more Stormtroopers scattered to halt their progress. It wouldn't be long before they called for help.
When Zalor opened the blast doors to the weapons array control room, only four Stormtroopers were stationed there, and they unwisely chose to attack Zalor and Jashin on sight, as had all the others they encountered on the way. They were quickly dealt with, but Zalor quickly found there were over twenty to thirty weapons technicians in the room as well. None of them were armed, and they all got up from their stations and froze in fear as they saw the Jedi Knight and the heavily armored mercenary approach them.
While these technicians were complicit in the destruction of Theed, Zalor knew it'd be wrong to attack unarmed First Order personnel. These people would be dealt with in a more civil manner.
Zalor began to pity them as they shouted at them, begging the duo to spare them.
"We're unarmed!" "We surrender!" "We'll cooperate, Jedi! Just don't hurt us!"
Zalor nodded in understanding. He slowly and calmly lowered his saber blade and spoke to them.
"Alright, take it easy. Do as I say and you'll be fine." Zalor pointed with his saber blade to the corner of the weapons array room, next to the server towers. "Everyone in the corner - you can sit, stand, take a break, but nobody leaves. Mister Rau, keep 'em there and keep 'em quiet."
The technicians all quickly ran to the northeast corner of the room and huddled without further protest.
After the unarmed First Order personnel were dealt with, Zalor looked around the room. He quickly realized that he hadn't seen the inside of too many starship's weapon arrays, and he couldn't find the main server for Artoo to plug into. After a few minutes, he spoke up to the group of frightened technicians once more... "Which one of you is in charge here?"
A tall, lanky uniformed human in his thirties, who spoke with a heavy Imperial accent, quickly spoke up. "I am. Lieutenant Commander Kan Eldarric."
Zalor pointed to the rows of server towers. "Which one of these server towers has the master controls?"
The Lieutenant Commander pointed towards the first tower on the left. "The one at the far end. The one with two data nodes."
Pleased, Zalor turned and motioned towards his astromech droid. "Artoo - you know what to do."
[Beep-whistle] Artoo wasted no time rolling up to the main server towers and inserting his connector arm into the bottom data socket, which the droid was immediately able to recognize as the manual override port. Within seconds, he was already processing the data to Tanara.
"What do you plan on doing to our weapons array, Jedi?" Eldarric frowned at Zalor with a concerned look.
"Well...we're, uh...we're commandeering this vessel, Lieutenant Commander."
The weapons technician shot a stunned glance at the young Jedi. "...are you insane? You and this mercenary are trying to single-handedly steal our ship?!"
Zalor shook his head calmly, maintaining an aura of compassion, yet firm control over the situation. "Uh...no. Myself and this mercenary AND the team of Jedi Knights and black-ops commandos who were on the surface of the planet whose capital you just razed to the ground are trying to 'single-handedly' steal your ship. And I'd say we're well on our way to succeeding at the rate we're going." Zalor couldn't help flashing a coy smile at the officer. "Tell you what, Lt. Commander Eldarric - you and your crew cooperate with us, and I might be able to convince the leader of our little boarding party to let you keep your jobs, and you'll work for us instead. Probably sounds better than being turned over to the Galactic Alliance to stand trial for your crimes, doesn't it?"
Zalor let Eldarric, who was now stunned into silence, contemplate this decision as he grabbed his comlink and hailed Tanara. ::Tanara, it's Zal. I've got Jashin and Artoo at the second dataport in the weapons array master control room. Artoo's sending you all the access codes to all the weapons this ship has, both outer and internal. Lemme know when you've got them all, over.::
They breached the weapons array room, and four Stormtroopers swiveled to greet them. Their mistake. Zalor's lightsaber cut down two of them, and two cybernetically aided shots from Jashin's rifle had the other two put down before they could even raise their weapons.
Within his helmet, Jashin's lip curled in disgust. His species had done more than its fair share of atrocities...but chemical weapons and Dioxis gas was certainly not among them. Even now, the vermin huddled together in a corner, more or less silent. It didn't escape him that a pair exchanged a look, and one dipped a hand into his boot. Raising his weapon, he activated the laser sight on the weapon - completely unnecessary for someone of his ability, yet intimidating for the big red dot that painted itself on the human's chest. Please...please try it. At the armored alien's eager tone - unmistakable even filtered by vocoder - the Imperial slowly raised his hands, looking much more defeated. Coward to your cause. Stand and fight for your Order! Fight for your Supreme Leader!
But the men didn't move; and as a result, Jashin only saw broken and dishonorable men, not worthy of their names. Eager to rain chemical death on unarmed targets, they gave up too easily in the face of a true challenge. These men had no honor - they would not even die for their cause and beliefs.
Those...were the wrong words. It suddenly became abundantly clear that Zalor didn't understand these men; perhaps he couldn't understand these men. These men couldn't be reasoned with. They could not be bought, or negotiated with. These men were fanatics, bordering on cultists. The second they were released, they would plant a tracking device, send a distress call, sabotage ship systems, or otherwise betray any deal that was made with them. The fact they were unarmed non-combatants didn't make them powerless, if anything it made them even more dangerous; they would prey on the hospitality and ethics of the boarding party, and then use their technical knowledge when anyone least expected it. Even after the ruthless destruction of his homeworld, the Jedi didn't understand.
Since entering combat, Jashin had exuded an aura of malevolence and violence that was consistent with battle; he had been careful, though, to guard his thoughts on the off chance that a Knight of Ren was onboard. As such, it was highly unlikely that Zalor would sense anything from Jashin and his intent beyond a desire to survive, and a will to kill the enemy. This would work in his favor as he let go of the rifle with his right hand, and made a sweeping gesture with his arm: from the gauntlet on that arm, a cone of fire jetted out across the deck, bathing the unarmed men huddled in the corner in sticky flammable liquid. Dropping, rolling, even fire suppressant would have little effect as the conflagrine - the same gel the FO used in their flamethrowers - burned away at the simple gaberwool uniforms of the technicians.
Turning towards Zalor, Jashin leveled a finger at both Jedi and Lieutenant Commander, his vocoder just barely audible over the screams. No mercy. No prisoners. One does not negotiate with a disease...you just remove it. And with that, he turned on his heel, stepped over a gasping and struggling tech - even now on the verge of death - and exited the deck to stand guard.
*So far, so good. Tanara seemed to be making good progress with hacking their systems and all parties seemed to be advancing. For a such a monumental task, they were sure making it look easy...
...which probably meant something horrible was about to happen that would have everyone fighting for their lives. Things always went to hell just when it seemed like nothing could go wrong.
Atton sighed as he gazed at the monitors.*"Why do I get the feeling that this is all about to go horribly wrong?"
As Atton assure him that he knew what he was doing and told him to play look out, he finished connecting his monitors to Tanara, then moved to the side of the door. He poked his head out, looking left towards the hanger. Nobody. He heard Atton say something about a feeling being bad, then he looked to his right. Maybe about 20 troopers made their way around the corner, all armed and heading his way. As soon as they saw his head, the two in front raised their weapons and fired. Blaster bolts slammed against the metal where Dominic's head had been as he pulled himself back inside.
They were less than 30 meters away, he had to make this quick. Standing in the doorway but just out of sight, Dominic swung the butt of his blaster around into the open, smashing the button to open the door. Slinking his arm back inside, the door shut before the Agent shot the button on the inside as well. "That should hold them until the auto-turrets are up." It was almost immediately that sparks began showering around the door frame. "Well kark."
::Tanara, I took care of our little dioxis problem. If you would be so kind, please seal these assholes in this area. I pushed em far enough away that they cannot reach the room again if you keep them here. I'm gonna go catch up with Sinina. Matango out.:: A smile crossed her face as Adi reported in. So far, everything was going their way. Altering a few lines of code allowed her to activate ray shields around the First Order troopers that Adi had defeated. Knowing that there were technicians trying to kick her out of the system, she keyed an alert, to inform her if those ray shields were brought down. Of course, even if they were, by that point, she would have complete control of the star destroyer. Speaking of which...:: Great work Adi, your path to the bridge should be clear of hostiles. Just follow the bodies. ::Zalor let Eldarric, who was now stunned into silence, contemplate this decision as he grabbed his comlink and hailed Tanara. ::Tanara, it's Zal. I've got Jashin and Artoo at the second dataport in the weapons array master control room. Artoo's sending you all the access codes to all the weapons this ship has, both outer and internal. Lemme know when you've got them all, over.:: Right on time. Thanks to the continued efforts of Artoo, Zalor and Jashin, she now controlled two thirds of the star destroyer. This heist was almost over, without any serious hiccups. She was starting to get worried about the civilians on the cruiser they had used to get onto the destroyer, but so far the First Order troopers had stayed clear of the hangar. Until that changed, there was no point in redirecting anyone.:: Copy that Zalor, I've got the codes. You're good to head to the last dataport. Be advised, there's a large group of troopers headed your way. I'm trying to divert them as best I can, but you will have to deal with them before you can reach the dataport. ::*So far, so good. Tanara seemed to be making good progress with hacking their systems and all parties seemed to be advancing. For a such a monumental task, they were sure making it look easy...
She had been keeping an eye on nearly every aspect of the ship, so she was rather confused as to how they managed to elude her attention. Although admittedly, it was unreasonable to think she could watch every corner of the star destroyer at once. By now it was too late to try to reroute them with blast doors, or stop them in their tracks with ray shields. They still had several minutes before the autoturrets would be ready, and she wasn't sure if the door would hold that long."I still need a few minutes for the auto turrets. You two are gonna have to hold them."
*Atton knew that they didn't have a few minutes. The troopers were going to get through that door very soon and an they'd open fire with everything they had. It was up to Atton and Dom to make sure Tanara had enough time to complete her hack, as well as not allowing her to be shot or anything. He wasn't sure how many troopers were out there, but it didn't really matter. He'd downed at least thirty down on Naboo, and those had been well armed and armored to boot. And that was without backup of any kind. With Dom helping out, the troopers on the other side of that door were toast as soon as they broke through.
A cyan light filled the room as Atton activated his lightsaber and started to gather his strength once again.*"As soon as they break through, we gotta go right at them. I'll go straight in, you pick off anyone that I miss."
*The door burst open, and Atton raised his saber to block the first few shots that came firing in. As the first few troopers charged in, Atton moved in swiftly to cut them down, though his charge took him outside of the confines of the security station. He realized in a split second that there were troopers on both sides of the corridor, flanking him from both the left and right. He didn't hesitate, and turning to the group on his right, he stuck his hand out and fired a powerful Force Push, sending the group of soldiers flying backwards and tumbling over each other. Quickly turning back to his left, he charged at the group of soldiers, deflecting their blaster shots and quickly cutting them down one by one. As he did, he noticed the other group slowly staggering to their feet.
He called out to his comrade.*"Dom! Group on the right, take 'em out!"
Dominic nodded at Atton's plan. He would normally hide in a corner and take them out as they came in and missed him, but they had to keep the fighting out of this room, away from Tanara. Atton and the force pushing right as the door burst open was a good plan. He still hid on the right side of the door, letting the explosion from the door and all subsequent blaster fire to pass by him harmlessly into the far wall. He watched as Atton thrust himself into the smoke and armor on the other side of the doorway, his saber swinging out and striking all the ones he could. He poked his head around the corner and shot at one solider that had fallen but not died, about to fire into Atton's back. In this crowded space, it could be unclear what ones died. He saw Atton turn and push a group of guards as Dom shot another soldier, the blast firing over the Jedi's shoulder who was about to take advantage of the time to push their comrades.
At Atton's call, Dominic nodded and turned towards the group that were already starting to rise, the back most troop doing so first. Dom quickly put him down with a blast, and he started to fire into the helmets of the troops that were rising, starting from the back. The closest one to him swung his leg out, catching Dom at the ankle and forced him to brace against the wall. It was just enough time for the trooper to stand and fire at Dom at a point-blank range. A quick hand to push the barrel against the wall, and a shower of sparks erupted right next to Dom's face.
The danger, the sparks, the gun next to his head, it brought back Agent Dominion.
Dominion dropped the blaster he was holding, needing the extra hand. Reaching out with his right hand to replace his left on the gun's barrel, his left struck out right beneath the helmet towards the exposed neck. There was a brief choking sound before the troop swung his leg and tried to kick Dominion away from him, but the Agent flattened himself against the wall, dodging the blow. With the troops leg extended, Dominion threw his own leg out, aimed at his knee. There was a crunch as it bent in an unnatural way inside the armor, a cry of pain from the trooper. Dominion used both hands on the blaster, turning it skyward and then back towards the troopers face, breaking his finger that was trapped inside the trigger housing of the weapon. It fired a few times into the ceiling before Dominion pulled the gun away from the pained and breaking trooper. Dominion could see past his immediate enemy and see that most of the other troopers were on their feet at this point, ready to start firing. He couldn't kill this trooper yet, he needed him to be able to stand a little.
Grabbing the bottom lip of the helmet and pushing off of the wall, he dragged the trooper into the center of the hallway, his broken leg struggling to keep him upright and his back to his allies. Dominion braced himself to hold all of the man's weight as he turned the blaster on his fellow soldiers, firing over his shoulder and striking one in the chest. They began firing, but the trooper's body was an moderate meat shield, blocking fire from himself and Atton. The troop quickly fell limp, but Dominion was already holding most of his body weight. With a loud grunt of effort, he started pushing forward towards the remaining five troopers.
*Atton wasted no time in finishing off the soldiers clustered in the corridor. Some troopers fell to shots that were deflected back at them with his lightsaber, and a few were cut down as they were unable to prevent the Jedi from closing the distance. Still, despite his quick work, there were still two or three left for him to take out. They'd seemed to realize that their blasters weren't doing any good against him and had holstered their blasters. Two of the troopers drew what appeared to be energy batons. The third had drawn a sword that Atton recognized as the same kind of sword some of the soldiers had used against him during the fight in Theed. This wouldn't be like the fight in Theed, as there wasn't nearly as much free space to move around, making a three against one advantage more difficult to overcome.
He heaved a sigh and raised his lightsaber in his right hand as if getting ready to meet them in combat. At the same time, he reached out with the Force and summoned one of the fallen trooper's blasters into his left hand and was able to fire several shots. Only a few of them hit their mark, as he was firing with his non dominant hand and rather hastily at that as the troopers charged at him. He was forced to toss the blaster away as the troopers closed the distance, only one having been felled.
Atton was just barely able to get his saber up in time to block the strike from the energy baton, and he nearly dropped his saber from the weight of the strike. He was barely able to dodge the next swing, the sound of electricity crackling reaching his ears as the baton barely missed his head. Atton took a step back and readied himself as the trooper swung again, and this time Atton was able to expertly dodge as the trooper had put all of his strength into the swing. With a quick motion, Atton stabbed the trooper through the neck.
He quickly withdrew and turned just as the last trooper with the vibrosword charged in and swung. Atton blocked it, but found his counterattack swiftly parried. He was forced on the defensive as this trooper seemed to be a far better duelist than anyone he had fought on Naboo. Still, he didn't have time to engage in a lengthy duel, especially if more troopers showed up.
As the trooper advanced and swung his sword, Atton nudged the blade with the Force causing the swing to go off the mark. The trooper stumbled just a little, but that was all the opening Atton needed to cut him down.
He quickly turned and sprinted down the corridor towards Dom, who was still dealing with the other group of troopers. There still five and Dom was dragging what appeared to be the corpse of a downed trooper towards them. Atton quickly charged the enemy, and with Dom able to cover him, they were quickly able to dispatch the rest of the troopers.
He heaved a sigh.*"Well that was messy..."
Nakor slipped the last slice of orange into his mouth before sucking the juices from his fingers and rubbing his hands free of the orange peel skin still clinging to them with a satisfied smirk. He gazed about the control bridge before looking out the viewpoint window towards the ship. Still no reply. He had given them plenty of time, but after his transmission had been sent there was no return ping in the comm system to let them know it had been received. He hummed deep in his throat as he considered his position. Transmissions from Altair's shadowalker on the planet had informed him the ground action was over and that cleanup and the final count of the dead was still ongoing. Nakor had no particular love for this planet over any of the others, but Altair had spent some time here as a child, he would not take this news well, and he been here the enemy ship would have already probably been blasted from space - luckily for everyone aboard the Enemy ship that he was not. Nakor moved back to his chair and sat down.
"Single shot... right at the bow. Don't hit anything important - just let them know we're here."
The Hammerhead Cruiser's forward cannons took a few moments to prime and acquire a relatively harmless target before firing a single volley into the hull of the Cruiser. Nakor watched as the cannon fire slammed against the hull and the silent explosion was seen by all looking our the viewport. Nakor gave a satisfied hum of approval and nodded slightly.
"That should get someone's attention..."
Adi was making his way to the bridge, MICRO out in the lead, and the former Jedi Master could do nothing but shake his head at the carnage laid out before him. Sure, he had killed the troopers that had tried to kill him, but he still did it quick...with mercy...
But this? This was horrendous.
Troopers that had tried to stop Sinina on her way to the bridge were laying on the ground, blood everywhere...and still alive. The vicious nature of her attacks showed her pain, her heartbreak...and apparently the Nightsister was taking it out on these men. It looked like she was giving every ounce of her pain, her sorrow, and her anger to each and every one she had come across. Not only troopers, either....the crew that was trying to get out of her way were felled in the same manner.
He -had- to get to the bridge....and quickly.
A com from MICRO suddenly broke the cacophony of the dead and dying troops. Activity was detected coming from the fleets who had responded to the attack, and they were now preparing to attack. The entire ship rocking from a hit confirmed the report. The defending fleets were about to destroy the only evidence of the First Order's Dioxis gas attack on Theed, and the idiots didn't even realize it!! Ordering MICRO to open a channel, Adi sent out a desperate message.
::Attention attacking fleets, this is...:: Adi paused for a moment. He didn't know if the attacking fleet would recognize, or even care, who Skylar Winchester was. However, if he were to reveal who he really was, it would end his mission to stay clear of the Jedi. Deciding that discretion was the better part of valor, he decided to go with the former...for now. ::This is Skylar Winchester of the Wayward Son Crew. Cease fire!! I repeat, cease fire!! We are currently engaging and removing enemy threats from this ship, and there is critical cargo on board this Star Destroyer that would prove devastating to the First Order's "bid" for peace. Again, I implore you, cease fire!!.::
Continuing to the bridge of the ship, Adi rounded the final corner. He heard two stun grenades go off, and a few blaster shots. Either Sinina was getting shot at, or she was still on her rampage. He caught a glimpse of her as she fired another shot toward the ceiling of the room. He started to run as he watched her shoot the blaster out of the single remaining officer's hand. In a blur, he pushed in between the two of them before she could kill the man. He held his hands out to his sides *one on Sin's side, one on the side of the officer*. Matango then locked eyes with the young woman.
"I know what you are thinking, Sinina....but its not the way you need to do this. Not like this. The man is unarmed, and surrendering." Adi's eyes were pleading with the woman, begging her to stop. "We cannot stoop to their level, ever. You are better than this. We can capture this man, and turn him over to the GA. He knows what the First Order is really up to, or at least some of it. His knowledge is valuable...his dead body is not."
Staying between the two, Adi turned more toward Sinina, both of his hands in front of him. He was trying to show that he was not threatening, to calm her down a little and maybe de-escalate the situation. His focus was now on his crewmate, and his desire to keep her from doing any more damage to anyone.
He should have been paying attention to the First Order Officer she had been trying to kill. Sin had shot a blaster out of the man's hand, but in Adi's fervor to save the man's life, he had pulled another blaster. With Adieumus standing between himself and the woman that had tried to kill him, it had been a perfect time to draw the weapon....
...And fire.
Two shots hit Adieumus squarely in the back. Matango had sensed something was going to happen a split second before the shots were peeled off, and had put up a very hasty barrier, but it had not been enough to stop the shots entirely. In a scream of pain, Adi was pushed forward, stumbling forward toward Sinina. He began to fall into her, the pain of the two shots from the hold-out blaster tearing through him like a wildfire. The shots, while not accurate, had definitely struck hard. One had hit him in the middle of the back, one in the right shoulder.
Many had said that Adi's good nature would get him killed some day....and it would appear that the day had possibly come...
*Sin had raised her blaster, shooting out the camera's on the bridge, her head filled with darkness, but a small part of her somewhere in there, didn't want Tanara to see this. She turned again to the officer, shooting the weapon from his hand at last. Quickly she was advancing on the spluttering whimpering officer. Pathetic. Where was his dignity. Face death with some dignity.
Suddenly as if from nowhere Adi swooped in. Her eyes narrowed as he stood between her and the officer. She wasn't sure where he'd come from but he was standing between her and revenge. She glares at him as he speaks.*
Toxics aboard his ship, killed Mama, sure she wasn't blood. But I loved her as such. Sweet, innocent, how many other innocents did he kill today? Oh no, he deserves far worse then I could ever do to him.
*Her words dripped with venom, malice. She wanted nothing more to hear the officers screams of agony as she dismantled him. She stared at him, past adi as he turned more towards her, more concerned with talking her down then the man behind him. She saw him move, Adi was in the way. She grabbed up her dagger, throwing it at the officers shoulder, but not before his shots got off did her dagger sink into his shoulder, the officer's new weapon skittering across the floor.
Adi stumbled into her smaller frame. She gasped and gives a soft grunt as his heavier frame hit her, she tried to catch and lower him gently to the floor. Her eyes on the officer the entire time. As soon as he was down, Sin was upon her feet in a heartbeat, and upon the officer even faster. She hit him in the face with a punch that sent him against the viewport behind him, she grabs at her other dagger, bringing it up to the officer and stops just short of him. She stared at the being, back to his whimpering again.
She growls loudly right in his face, the growl turning into a shriek of anger and frustration. She pushes the officer against the port and turned from him, pacing a few steps around. She turns again, dagger raised as she goes to stab down into his other shoulder. Another frustrated shriek as she stops just a hairbreadth from his uniform. She steps back, throwing her dagger to the floor in frustration. The officer starts to chuckle, and Sin spins back toward him, clubbing him upside the head with her blaster hard enough to knock him unconscious.
She runs toward Adi, dropping to her knees and sliding the last few feet to him. Before she came to a stop, Dathomiri words muttering from her lips again. Her hands take on a soft blue glow as her hands covered the blackened scorch marks of blaster burns in her shirt as the healing spell starts to affect him. It wasn't a fast process, nor as good as bacta, but it would help mend him. When her words stopped when she did all she could, her hands stopped glowing.*
Stupid Utreekov.
