Are you a morally ambiguous Jedi? A Sith whose heart isnt into wanton death and destruction? Do you want to defend the galaxy like a si/madam?
On the planet of Aaragu, the Imperial Knights have our temple ready for any who wish to join our humble group or visit us to learn various things, regardless if they be about the Force or lightsaber dueling. If you wish to rp with us (me), please do let me know here. I welcome anyone who wishes to join in developing interesting storylines and characters that will be rememberable here on JvS. This includes not only veterans here on the site, but those new to rp here as well.
If anyone wishes to askme any questions or propose ideas about the order, letting me know here is also acceptable. Link to the Wookieepedia article.
Okay so there is my refined invitation, I however am running low on time so I am just going to copy paste some stuff I have written in the past. Vulgar and all.
Imperial Knights are a form of Force practitioners that are morally gray but are practitioners of the light side. They do not dwell on the force and muse about it like the Jedi but treat it like a weapon. A dangerous one that must be respected but a weapon non the less. In Canon they swore loyalty to their Emperor, serving the Force as embodied by him. However if said person was to fall to the darkside they are honour bound to either kill him or bring him back. So think of them like body guards that serve the leader of the Empire so long as said leader follows the lightside. They served the Fel line, which all of its surviving members were a part of.
The strict mental discipline and obedience to orders that was part of their training made Imperial Knights less susceptible to the strong emotions that would draw students of the Jedi over to the dark side. Recruitment within the Imperial Knights was limited to those who demonstrated loyalty to the Emperor, in addition to potential in the Force Training could be very harsh, but not cruel, and could often take years, but no student ever failed in their training, as the Emperor demanded and always received success. In training, a student would learn all they needed to know in order to defend the Emperor against all those who would harm him. Upon completing their training, they would serve the Emperor as a bodyguard and agent, fighting until the death. Their training saw them learn to use the Force in order to transform themselves into living weapons and shields
Pretty much they are the tightest fucking force users ever
Now for the armour and shiny blade which I am very fond of.
All members had a silver blade to signify they are part of a unit and individuals are less than the whole. The blades themselves are made of a syntho crystal, and are waterproof. However some more notable Knights did have back up lightsabers that they would use while undercover during the Sith-Imperial war. Despite this all members were trained in various other tasks. (hand to hand, guns, flight ect). Personally I play it off as a personal choice what each Knight studies so there is some diversity much like a normal army unit.
Now the armour is really fun. It is made of the same material as Vaders. In addition there was Phrik filaments to make it extra strong against lightsaber attacks in particular. The Imperial insignia was on the right shoulder pauldren and left gauntlet. The gauntlets themselves are known as Cortosis Shields. Made of purified Cortosis they are able to not only resist but actually shut off the blade of a saber for 7 seconds to several minutes. Occasionally there were personal armours made to keep people alive but only two are documented.
The Sith looked down on us, but many people compare us to the Jedi in terms of power and skill which is a bonous. The Imperial Knights made extensive use of their combat armor, and were as such, were constantly prepared for combat. They trained strictly for combat and not contemplation, having even developed two new combat forms, the more aggressive Praetoria Vonil and the defensive minded Praetoria Ishu. They also learned to fight using many of the same lightsaber combat techniques as the Jedi. The Imperial Knights were warriors rather than negotiators, a fact that they would never make excuses for. Their training saw them learn how to use the Force to transform themselves into living weapons and shields
