I came up with a manner of inducting you into the Shadows, sir. Because of the nature of the op, since the Mandos are going to make a scene, you can get involved in an official Jedi Knight capacity. Upon seeing what you can do, Jerek can pull the strings, have you disappear, and spirit you away to Endor for the last parts of Shadow training. How about that? |

I'd prefer to keep it as small time as possible on the Mando side. If there are too many, you might attract way too much attention to yourselces. Also, you want to be slightly selective about your targets. Yeah, the Mandos have been destroying Republic worlds, but they've been occupied by Jedi and they haven't been the heart of the Republic. The GO hasn't decided to go to war yet, and a decisive attack on a civilian population on Coruscant would force their hand. Don't want to effect their RP too much. But if you want to kill a few scumbags, that's cool. Jedi are your main target, and you're free to move toward your main target as covertly as possible. Remember, you're mostly moving undetected right now. You want to retain the element of surprise. Now, if you get Republic permission for a terrorist attack OOC, I'm totally ok. But the burden is on you to approach them about it, haha. |

I just had that idea. I get involved because a councilor asks me to investigate it as a Knight, but I end up stumbling in on a Shadows op. It would make sense as Shadows are secretive and the other council members wouldn't know what missions we were doing at what time. Only when it was important. The less people who know, the safer it is for us. Thus when the situation rises, they send me to diffuse the situation, and bam, suddenly you have a complication of a different sort.
Also Able, you made me think of the New York Sniper... Shooting innocents at long range to cause a reaction. Perhaps a distraction to draw authorities away from the 'real' threat.

Exactly my thought. I am still unsure how close normal people can be to the temple but a quick jaunt to Wookiee can change that. From there once I get all of you smuggled onto the planet (and maybe an NPC each to make it a half dozen) we scout out the best areas.
Somewhere close enough to draw out the Jedi rather than the GR. Maybe shoot up their guards rather than innocents if the GR doesn't want in. Then just as things go south we lose the NPCs and we manage to get lost in the underbelly of Coruscant. Shadows save the day and the world keeps on spinning.

Any Sniper knows, that eliminating targets from long range disrupts the focus of any troops in the area. While the group does it's arms smuggling, or bombing mission, or whatever the consensus is that we are there in the first place, the focus of what the Jedi are looking to disrupt gets put on the back burner to find the sniper. Seeing as it's a core belief to help those who are hurt it will force them to engage me one on one. Since more than one shadow is there. Guerrilla warfare tactics. Wound the innocent the Jedi have to help them. I try to keep you guys at a distance, while you try to close the gap.

I have a freighter in orbit ready to land wherever and whenever you would like. It's pretty big so it can carry whatever you like for your story purposes.
