Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser: Brotherhood, Rodia's Orbit.Venom smiled as his brother spoke his mind. The grin widened as he expressed his need to construct a new blade to allow himself to stand apart from what Xander had originally made him. He nodded in agreement."Agreed, brother. We will locate the parts required to construct a new lightsaber. Perhaps our new found allies have looted the necessary pieces? In any case, would you prefer to construct one before we attack, or after? Bear in mind, we may not be able to locate all of the required pieces among the fleet."Venom left the question open to his brother as he thought about the upcoming attack. He was by no means a naval strategist, however he had spend enough time in the presence of his former master to pick up a few things. At least enough to get them through the attack. Now it was a matter of taking their ship and going alone, or getting Supreme Wolfgang and his pirates involved as well. Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser: Brotherhood, Rodia's Orbit.Valafar listened his brother and began to decided whether it was a good idea to construct his new now or after they begin their attack. A part of him wanted to build it now so that he unleash it upon their prey, and yet Venom made a good point the fleet may not have all of the parts he would need. Valafar knew that the pirates did indeed keep many things as trophies, such was the case of his old lightsaber. Sometime in the Future once they had rebuilt their Clan he would collect his old weapon and have it serve as an artifact/reminder of his training and upbringing."What would you recommended, Brother?"The reason for his question was that he had no idea what would be the best coarse of action was. If he were to wait, all he would have as a weapon would be the Tof sword he still had, and a part of him wanted to use it as it would mean blood of his enemies would be spilled. Another part of him wanted to feel the weight of a lightsaber in his hand again. He would leave the final decision up Venom.

Brotherhood, Rodia's Orbit.
Venom frowned as Valafar posed his question.
"That's not my decision brother. It would entirely depend on how eager you are to jump into the heat of battle once more..."
Venom raised an eyebrow and glanced up to his Clan brother, wondering what his response would be. Once a decision had been made, they would proceed. At this point, Valafar's decision to have a lightsaber was dependent upon whether or not he wanted one to fight against the Azanti. Venom couldn't make this decision for him.

Former Iridonian Defense Fleet: Victory II-Class Star Destroyer. The damaged ship exited hyperspace, somewhat less than gracefully. The massive Tof, Supreme Wolfgang, gripped the railing before him. Warning lights flashed and klaxons blared loudly. It appeared as though the ship had just barely made it to where it was going. As the Deadwood and Bloody Sun exited hyperspace behind them, Wolfgang moved from his spot. He began barking orders, his deep voice thundering over the sirens and alarms."Begin repairs. I wants me fleet up an runnin' as soon as possible. 'n get me a shuttle t' th' Deadwood. I be goin' t' be plannin' out next move."The Zabrak and Tof crew on the ship carried out his orders. Soon the Supreme was on his way to his flagship. Once on board, he fully intended to sit on the bridge and drink until he passed out. They had stolen several ships. The makings of a true pirate fleet. And they had barely lost any of their own in capturing them. Perhaps the former prisoners would have some use to him after all...but for now, Wolfgang needed a drink. Tof Cruiser: Deadwood. Rodia's Orbit. With the repairs to the Victory II and the Dreadnaught-Class Heavy Cruiser, the Firefist Pirate Fleet was nearly back up to full strength. Which was beneficial since Supreme Wolfgang was receiving intel from a reputable source that a haul larger than even this ships he acquired over Iridonia was going to become vulnerable soon enough. Which was good, since his crew was starting to get antsy. The need to take risks, pillage and plunder was causing them to go a little stir crazy. Once the Bloody Sun and the Dauntless-Class Heavy Cruiser reported in, they could begin planning their next job. Soon they would be ready. Tof Cruiser: The Bloody SunZackkur waited on the status report from the Bloody Sun Engineers. As he waited Zackkur replayed everything that had happened above Iridonia. Almost as if on Que an engineer stood up and began to give a status report on the repairs of the ship. "All repairs have been completed sir. The Bloody Sun is now fully functional." "Jolly, send word to th' Deadwood, 'n let me brother be knowin' we be ready fer our next adventaure"Several of the Tof bridge crewmen hurried to send word to the Supreme as not to incur his or the Commandant's wraith.

Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser: Brotherhood, Rodia's Orbit.
"Then let us jump into Battle once more my Brother"
Valafar could not wait to slice open a new opponent and watch as they bled. It would only fuel his almost supernatural bloodlust. At times he would curse Xander for what he did to him and at other times he didn't mind the bloodlust as it only made him stronger and gave him a unique connection to the dark side. Valafar wonder what type of opponents the Azanti would be. Even though Venom briefly explained them, it still made him wonder, for he knew all to well what could happen if one is not careful in hunting a predator.

Tof Cruiser: Deadwood
As the members of the Bloody Sun checked in and the status was relayed to the Supreme, Zekkar called to his men at the navigation center.
"Inform th' Commandant we'll be headin' out. Got us a temptin' target. A jolly haul fer all 'o us. Send him th' coordinates 'n get us underway."
As soon as the Supreme issued his orders, they were carried out, along with uproarious cheers and hollering from the crew. Soon they would be underway, pillaging and plundering a new source of riches...

Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser: Brotherhood - Rodia's Orbit.
Sensing the anticipation emanating from his brother, he smirked. He then looked to the captain.
Captain, plot a course for Anzat. It's time to see who is stronger, the hunter or the hunted..."
With a wicked grin, Venom turned to face the central viewport at the ship began to pull away from Rodia, making way for the Starkillers to embark on their new adventure.

The refugee ship from the conflict raging on Tatooine burst into orbit above the planet of Rodia. On board where thousands more of the stream of people fleeing to nearby systems. Most would likely return once the current conflict had died down, but until then they would be very nearly at the mercy of whatever the galaxy threw at them. For this particular group, it would be a stint on the swampy marshes & in the domed cities of Rodia.

A task force from Geonosis arrived to take control of Rodia - sitting on the Corellian Run, the planet was vital for protecting Geonosis from assault. Two Muunificients and a Providence secured the upper orbit, quickly scattering whatever ill kept ships defended the planet were crushed by the sleek fighting machines built on the desert world that birthed the Confederacy. Even as the wreckage cooled from gun fire, transport ships were being sent to the planets surface.

The Imperious-Class Star Destroyer, Hyperion, sporting the crimson markings of the Blackguard Reborn, exits hyperspace above the Rodian homeworld. Standing on the bridge, Commodore Avarick Grissom issues orders.
"Battle stations! Bring weapons systems online and raise the deflector shields. Target that Providence and move up to engage. Hail the Brotherhood and have them launch their ground forces. We'll cover them."
The Hyperion powered up and continued to move towards the two Munnificents and the Providence. As it moved into position to engage the Confederacy ships, an encrypted comm was sent to the Brotherhood.
Brotherhood, begin landing your forces. The Hyperion stands ready to cover your advance.

The Brotherhood exited hyperspace over Rodia, off of the Hyperion's aft flank. Before the ship's Commander, Paxu Dennett, could issue orders, the ship's comms crackled to life with orders from the Hyperion.Brotherhood, begin landing your forces. The Hyperion stands ready to cover your advance. Standing with his arms folded across his chest, Venom Starkiller observed the massive Imperious as it moved into position. Clearly Viox's men didn't frack around when it came to getting things done. The sight of the Providence and supporting Munnificents was concerning, since there hadn't been a major droid based faction since the Confederacy of Independent Systems. However, droids were much easier to kill than living soldiers, though somewhat less satisfying. Nodding to Dennett, he spoke."You heard them. Get us underway now. Contact Vakarian, Volockis, Arcturis and Kolar and let them know we will be leading the charge on the ground."Turning to his Clan brother, Venom spoke to him as well."The capital buildings or wherever they house their central government will be our main target. The others will serve to keep the ground forces occupied. We take the capital and secure the government headquarters, we take the field. Show them no mercy. Grant them no quarter. Give them nothing! And take from them, everything! Clan Starkiller is back!"Turning to Dennett once more, he spoke."Prepare to launch fighters and transports. Get us in range of the capital. We'll do the rest."Venom grinned as the Commander replied."Understood sir. All glory to the Clan. And may the Force serve you well."Motioning for Valafar to follow him, Venom departed the bridge, heading for the hangar bay. Soon the fun would begin.

Valafar stood beside his clan brother as orders from the Hyperion came though. He listened to Venom as he explained what their goal was, The capital building, he would slaughter everyone who opposed them. The bodies of their enemies be it droid or organic would become the stepping stones to a Blackguard victory. Valafar nodded as he proceed to make his way from the bridge of the Brotherhood to her hangar bay. Valafar had used the time it took to arrive from Iridonia to train himself in using his new weapon that he had received from Viox in exchange for the Tof pirate sword. Valafar was confident in his ability to wield it, and this invasion would serve as training as well. As he and Venom arrived t the hangar one finally thought enter his mind as they began to board a shuttle, which was that there would be fire and blood.

Hyperion CIC - Rodia's Orbit.
As the Brotherhood accelerated past them, Commodore Grissom stood on the bridge of the Hyperion as the first volley of shots from the Muunificents washed over them. The ship shuddered slightly under the barrage. Standing near the railing, observing the battle, Grissom issued orders.
"Concentrate all fire on that Providence. Have fighter groups Bravo and Sierra run interference on those Muunificents. Ready a barrage from the forward ion batteries and ready a salvo of torpedoes."
As the fighters launched from the Hyperion's hangar and raced towards their respective targets, the Imperious continued forward, towards the enemy Providence. The Conquest of Rodia was underway...

Rodia - High Orbit. Hyperion.
Commodore Grissom continued to watch as the Providence-Class Destroyer erupted into a fireball that effectively split the ship into two sections. The battle, while intense, wasn't overly long. Clearly these droid ships had been fresh off of a production line. Something to keep in mind when he filed his reports with High Command. Aside from that, however, the Muunificents were still posing a problem. Harassing the fighter groups sent out to run interference, they had managed to clear most of the fighters, giving them a straight shot at either the Hyperion, or the Brotherhood. Naturally, they gave pursuit of the smaller vessel. But that meant presenting their sterns to the looming Imperious. And that was a mistake.
"All ahead full. I want those ships slagged, now!"
With that, the ship accelerated towards the Muunificent Frigates as they bore down on the Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser...

Brotherhood - Hangar Deck. Rodia's Orbit.
Seating himself in the shuttle, Venom motioned for the pilot to take off. Moments later the shuttle lifted off the deck and exited the ship. Accelerating towards the planet, the shuttle entered Rodia's atmosphere and began its descent...

Commodore Grissom stood on the bridge of the Hyperion as the two Muunificents burned around them. Having had time to run a more detailed scan of the enemy ships, as well as sending a salvage party over to one of the more intact Muunificent frigates, Grissom learned that they were from the Grand Confederacy of the Outer Rim. Which confirmed his suspicious of a resurgent Confederacy. Though if this was the best the Confederacy could offer, then they were of little concern to the Blackguard. And perhaps, upon learning exactly where this Confederacy was located, the Blackguard could raid their foundries and procure more battle droids to bolster their ground forces. Right now, however, Rodia's orbit was secure and the Hyperion was now sending reinforcements to the surface to aid Darth Wraak and Verenhimo. Though, from the sounds of things, the fight was nearly over down there as well. Grissom wasn't going to complain though. An easy victory was better than no victory, though he doubted the two Sith would fail in their ground assault. If the Sith'ari was any indication as to what a Sith was capable on the ground, then the assault would have gone rather quickly. As the Hyperion moved closer to Rodia, Grissom continued to monitor the situation, making sure that no other Confederacy ships jumped in unexpectedly.

Commodore Grissom's fears had been unfounded, as no other Confederacy vessels had jumped in since they had taken the planet in the name of the Blackguard Reborn. Whomever was at the helm of this fledgling Confederacy was clearly inept at being a leader. Regardless, with the threat diminished, the Hyperion continued to patrol over the planet, ensuring that the Blackguard's policies were enforced and criminals were punished. It wasn't glamorous work, but it was work just the same. Work that Grissom would carry out patriotically.

The insectoid Shadlaar-class ship Talyc Cyar'ikadropped out of hyperspace a few hundred kilometers from the edge of Rodia's gravity well, far from the usual space lanes that saw people and cargo ferried to and from the jungle world.
Costa Fett was already on his way to the bridge when the announcement crackled over the ship's intercom, a mechanical voice advising all personnel to be on hand and ready to deploy. Behind the T of his visor, the heavily armored man grinned and quickened his pace.
Fraljia was staring out of the viewport when he arrived, her pale hands clasped behind her back, surveying the planet like she was some kind of conquering Imperial Moff- an image that clashed jarringly with the bloody furs and bones the Blood Matron had adorned herself with.
"Looks like our old stomping grounds found itself some new tenants." Costa remarked as he moved to stand at her side.
"Indeed," she replied airily, her gaze never wavering from the green orb. "We knew that was a possibility. It doesn't change our directive."
"'lek," the big man smirked. "Squash bugs, praise Kad?"
Her reflection flashed a brief, rueful smile. "Something like that."
"Well, shuttles are prepped and ready to go whenever you are. I assume you'll take the Cyar'ika straight to the estate?"
"Right again. I don't foresee any resistance to our occupation, and I'll need most of the men to reactivate the garrison's defenses."
Costa grinned. "Dusting out cobwebs? I'm jealous."
"Kad's breath," the Blood Matron rolled her eyes. "Do you ever stop?"
"Nayc. See you ground side, alor." Costa slapped a fist against his breastplate and turned on his heel, disappearing back the way he came.
She remained silent as he departed, her gaze never wavering from the planet even when the thrum of the ship's sublight engines reverberated through her feet.

Rodia, a hot and wet world full of exotic life. It was likely due to those qualities that had made it a world of interest during the Yuuzhan Vong War, with the planet eventually hosting one of the largest Yuuzhan Vong populations after its conquest. Even after the war when the Yuuzhan Vong were driven off, their terraforming had left its mark, leaving behind a host of transformed creatures such as the Vagh Rodiek. A truly special world full of value for a discerning individual or organization, such as the reborn Praetorite.Transitioning from lightspeed, a ro'ik chuun m'arh exited darkspace just outside the planet's naturally formed gravity well, entering the system and taking up a position in orbit. This particular organic frigate was known as the 'Dark Corsair', belonging to the reborn Praetorite Vong under the leadership of Executor Nem of Domain Yin.Aboard the vessel on the bridge, Commander Kronn Yin watched the blazebug display that dominated the room, seeing the collective information that each Yuuzhan Vong bridge officer was seeing on their qahsas at each station. He leaned over and rested two naked hands ending in pointed nails on the display, glaring with two gleaming green mqaaq'it. The glossy crimson sheen of his vonduun skerr kyrric reflected the lambent light of the bridge, making him to some degree appear luminous, like an intendant in full glistaweb attire. He shunned the lighter clothing of his caste, preferring to wear the same attire as the warriors under his command. Plus his was of an older design, able to enhance his strength as his body withered in his advanced years. As he studied the sensor readouts it didn't appear as though there were any ships or weapon emplacements in the area to concern themselves with. He nodded and addressed the bridge crew, which consisted mainly of members of domains Lah and Carr."Cargo status?" He inquired in harsh Yuuzhan Vong, straight to the point as always."Intact and ready to be evacuated from the hold, Commander."Another terse nod was followed by a pause. Orders were orders but he was beginning to see a flaw in the plans of his superiors. This was what, the fourth world the Praetorite was attempting to establish a hidden facility on. He understood the reason of course, you didn't need to protect what you didn't control, while still having access to certain materials on the planet that could be harvested discretely. His concern was that they were over extending themselves. There were not so many shapers and intendants remaining. Domains Yin and Yim should be focused on breeding the next generation, not expanding the Praetorite's scientific knowledge. He feared Nem was beginning to spend their remaining members in the same way Shimrra Jarmane had, bleeding them into extinction. While he mostly trusted the Executor's wisdom in such matters, his gut told him this was a mistake. Still, he would not be the first to break faith with his domain mate and leader. Despite his reservations, he would do as instructed."Very good." He eventually said. "Release cargo and launch the Blood Chalice." The rear of a ro'ik chuun m'arh lacked any offensive capabilities, with all yaret-kor being forward facing towards the prow of the ship. While this represented a clear defensive oversight, it did allow for the rear of the ship to serve as a defacto-cargo bay. At the rear of the Dark Corsair, a seem split in the yorik coral hull, venting the atmosphere in the bay out into the vacuum of space. A large pod shaped creation floated out of the opening and was drawn towards Rodia's upper atmosphere. A little push from the frigate analog's dovin basals was all it took to send the pod on a trajectory towards one of the planet's many swamps. Simultaneously at the prow of the vessel beneath the bony spine that served as a form of ship-to-ship ram, what appeared as a molted ball of flesh was expelled from the vessel, trailing a long whip like tail. This was the yorik-trema 'Blood Chalice', carrying aboard a team of shapers including Torfa Yim, blood brother of Master Shaper Mira Yim. While not as famous among the Praetorite, he possessed a rival intellect, necessary for the mission put to them by the Executor himself.Entering the atmosphere as well, the Blood Chalice followed the pod towards the surface of the planet.
