Raven Alora watched as the second soldier dropped his explosive and then fell to his own men's fire. Without second thought, the Jedi gripped the explosive with the force, flinging it behind her at the advancing troops. But the boom she was expecting never came. Those men were very lucky. But the concentration of fire was starting to really become a problem- especially with for very skilled troops aiming directly for her. Sinina! Back up- don't let them get behind us. Alora shouted as she retreated just a few feet. She did not see this as faltering- but rather, securing the gap between them, and the lab. While defending herself against blaster fire from the four black armored troops, she felt a stinging sensation in her left shoulder, and realized a blaster bolt had hit her quite seriously there. If these men really wanted a fight- throwing dud explosives and getting show by their own men wasn't going to do it. Common guys- this is getting out of hand. Turn around, and go home. They weren't taking the hint, and Raven was tired of resisting their angry emotions- and their blaster fire. Without warning, she reached out her left hand, which...surprisingly still worked, and yanked one of the black armored troops toward her, and more so, toward her angry saber blade, waiting to ram him through the chest. If that did happen, the Jedi would push off his flying momentum, to speed her own dash at the three remaining armored men. A vicious kick to the left man-, and a wide arcing swing for of her saber from left to right, for the other two, before flipping backwards, closer to the lab, deflecting blaster fire as she went. Her eyes were alive with the force, daring anyone to get closer. By this point, Raven Alora wanted a fight as much as the most zealous soldier in this group, and she was really hoping someone would give her one.

*So, it had sense and skill enough to counter Soku's attempt at a grip. The Knight of Ren adjusted his arm as his palm met the blast, repurposing his control over the Force into absorption, drawing the unleashed energy into himself. His hand was forced backwards even as he attempted to resist, but he was successful into pulling it into his being. His mind worked quickly as it thought of a way to repurpose the temporary energy before it expended itself.
It took little time. The fool before him was prattling on in self-righteous dogma. He drew the absorbed energy into his center and crouched slightly, then he bolted forward, the Force augmenting his speed as he attempted to close the distance swiftly; should Soku manage to close in unhindered, he would bring his blade upward in a diagonal cut from his left to right. If his foe wanted a close quarters fight, then so be it.* Ah, yes...there we go. That was more like it...up close, and personal. This was exactly what Adi needed to happen. With everything that had happened in this rescue up to this point, he was not in top form. He could, however, defend against a saber attack like what was coming in.
A snap of his right arm brought it into the path of the incoming saber. While this may look as if it were a foolhardy move on Matango's part, it was actually part of a defense technique he had come up with when his phrik bracers were compromised....force weapon. Most of the time, the power was used on objects that wouldn't normally be saber resistant to turn them into a weapon that was able to stand up to the attacks of a lightsaber. Modifying the ability was easy, and it was a simple transition from using armor to using force weapon on his own body. This now came into play as the saber came in low, and from Adi's right side. With his right arm now firmly in the path of the weapon, Adi felt it strike the cushion of force surrounding the limb. His icy blue eyes looked hard into his opponent's, and narrowed a bit as a half grin crept, almost darkly, across the former Jedi's face.
"You really don't want to do this...trust me. I've had a very bad day, and I'm probably going to end up taking it out on you."
So long as all went as planned with the saber being blocked, Adi would try to then throw a solid headbutt directly at the bridge of the other man's nose. If a man can't see, he can't fight....or at least that is what Matango had been taught by Amaris in the training he received on Tattooine early in his teenage years. A solid blow to the bridge of the nose would cause the eyes to water uncontrollably, especially if the nose started to bleed heavily, or was broken completely.
"You have your final chance. Leave now, or fall where you stand."

*Sinina wasn't surprised that the droid had dodged, it had seemed faster then one would expect, and she was trying to hard to dodge all the blaster fire to focus on that attack enough to time it right. She growled softly herself, doing the best she could to funnel all the pent up rage, pain, frustration through herself into her attacks. She didn't want to have the droid between her and the lab, she didn't even want to be beside it, because that gave the troops a clear shot, she leaps up and over the droid slashing at the shoulder she'd severed the blaster from earlier, trying to land again between droid and lab, spinning back to face it but her focus of trying to keep out of the troops line of fire, put her into the droids she yelps as two shots hit her, one if her left thigh, the other in her right shin. She dropped to her knees as she'd spun.
It hurt. Alot. Her legs throbbed, and she closed her eyes tightly, focused on the pain, her mind floating away, the runes glowed on her skin. She couldn't help but think of her mothers training, she'd never been fully trained like Te'oma, but she'd seen the things her sister had had to endure. It was far worse then this. If she wanted to prove herself she had to push through it, but it hurt. She focused on the storm again, and with a yell, she grabbed her Katana-like sword and tried to stab it into the droids foot and into the floor beneath. It was sharp. She hoped that it hit, or she'd have to abandon the weapon and grab her lightsaber instead. She opens her eyes realizing that even if it did connect she'd need the saber til she had the time to pull it back out. She lets go of the sword after and ignites her red bladed saber, trying to swing at the other leg as she stands, the attack not near as quick as she would like it to be, the burning in her legs distracting her.*

*As his blade met resistance, Soku came to a sudden halt. The sliver of stolen energy remaining was expended upon regaining his ground and stance, right foot forward, left behind, both knees slightly bent. The block to his saber caused by his opponent's own arm was only momentarily surprising; blocking a lightsaber using only the Force was not a new ability by any means, but it certainly was uncommon. Perhaps the unfocused one had some practiced skill after all... but like all save the Force itself, there was a limit.
And... what was this? Again prattling on? Barely a sentence in and the foolishness elicited a rolling of Soku's eyes. His free left hand tightened into a fist, drawing back slightly before he threw a cross directly aimed for his opponent's right eye as he was still talking. After the punch was thrown, he pulled his saber toward him, taking two steps backward in order to place himself in a more comfortable stance, right side forward, saber held low before him.
Speech. Why were they all so foolish? It was no mere Dun Möch, but a string of imbecilic babble within breath of their opponent. It was little more than an opening, one Soku would gladly exploit at any opportunity he could take. Dun Möch was a practiced, nuanced art... This was merely foolishness.*

The leader of the group of fighters, held up a hand and the fire slowly tapered off as he ripped off his helmet and walked towards Raven. On his cheek was a clearly marked clan tattoo, this was no ordinary solider.."Ca'nara brokar ramaanar orikih jetii" He snarled and pulled out a sixteen inch blade from a panel of his armor on his leg. A knife made from beskar , he surged forward swinging low with the blade while firing shots from his blaster pistol. Howling a warcry. The other black armored troops pointed and directed fire began to fire at Sinina, though because of her fluid movements and the cumbersome droid, most of the shots missed their target but was getting closer. Loki nodded as she spoke. He knew that he was not here. Not in the sense that Anna was right now. That he would not be remembered in these scenes when she was awake. But at this moment, in all his life, all of the things he had done, been through or caused..he had never felt closer or more akin to another being in the universe. He wiped wetness from his eyes once more as He looked back at the tower before he spoke.."I do know, and yes mild discomfort is much better than hearing voices, though to be fair, I haven't had a voice in my head in a long time." Loki reached out and placed a hand on Anna's shoulder. "You made the right choice..." Was all he said, not looking at her but the tower. He took it in, because he had a feeling that tower would be in his future, and Anna's and he wanted to remember it in detail.

Everything and nothing was beginning to form a swirl of chaos in his mind as he continued to move slowly across the distance between he and the knight. With each passing moment his hate and malice fueled the power that exuded from him, each moment pulling a pool of energy into him and rejuvenating him. it was almost enough to distract him from the reality of the moment as the knight responded in kind to his attack. As the Force around him began to bend through his field of death and begin to illicit dangerous groans from the metal around him. Murderous eyes fixed on the being across from him he slowed his approach to a near dead stop and watched as a hand extended out to a grip like posture.
It only took moments as the Force continued to pool into him, and then exude death from his form, that he felt the focal point of the attack from his adversary. It was a measure of an attack that would likely cripple him if he didn’t act as the knight had. He brought himself to a stop, slowly raised his hands, bringing life to their previous limp nature, and converted some of the energy he had absorbed from the fire and air into a grip on the falling debris. It was not enough to stop it completely but enough to slow it to a crawl as he strained under the pressure of tapping into the Force as much as he had. While he was drawing energy from the hall around him, and centering a majority of his focus on doing it, the energy was not nearly enough to sustain a palpable force, but it was enough to contend with an opponent who couldn’t comprehend him.
With a thrust of his arms from where they were angled from his body towards the ceiling he flung the metal framing that was meant to crush him towards the being across from him. Were it any of the material he knew it would have fallen short of his adversary but putting a modicum of pointless faith in the metal he watched as it sailed with it’s own weight towards the masked being. It was enough to buy him some time. And time that he took advantage of after a moments rest; enough to gather the energy to move and continue to close the space between he and the man across from him. He could feel his reserves depleting at a moderate rate, but it was not enough to concern him it was slowly replenished by the fragments of life he could draw into himself.

Anna faded away, as well as Felucia and the tower. Quick scenes flickered past the Zabrak- some space where Anna conversed with a strange, but protective creature- resembling a cross between a man and a raven.
The cargo hold of a ship- which was opened to the vacuum of space, housed three frantic people- one of them Anna, for a brief moment before the black void of space swallowed them. And as the seer fought to keep a hold of life saving air with the force to encircle herself and her two obscure traveling companions, Loki would see her zero in on the helmeted face of a Mandalorian, anchored to the cargo bay door. Obviously they survived, but the memory passed too quickly for the Zabrak to see exactly- how-.
The next scene gave Loki a view of a hangar on Honoghr, with the Seer approaching what looked to be Kajasecticus. Raven Alora was there, as well as Adieumus Matango- but that memory lasted only a few seconds before Loki was standing on the bank of a boggy lake on Dagobah.
Before him, the water bubbled, and suddenly, Anna's form shot to the surface and scrambled to the bank. Unable to stand, and unwilling to try, the Seer crawled to the brush beside the lake and lay on her back, heaving and coughing up swampy water. Her leg looked like some water creature had played tug of war with it, and her blind fold was missing. All in all, she looked really messed up. A few seconds later, the exterior surface of an escape pod bubbled up out of the water, just long enough for Loki to see what it was, before something dragged it under the water again. After some time- a very small, brown haired girl tottered into the clearing. She was about 8 or 9, little Morgan Calmcacil. Hesitating at the figure on the ground, she sat down and took out a survival pack- found in these escape pods. She'd come from the same ship- and she started to tend to Anna's bleeding leg wound. But the Seer became startled and before the child had time to blink, Anna had her pinned to the ground, Legion's dagger at her throat. hey! Hey I'm trying to help you! Morgan gasped, prompting Anna to release her at once. She sat up against a near by tree, tucking the dagger away and helping Morgan tend, not only to her own wounds, but the child's as well.
What....is Aerandir's daughter doing out here? Anna asked, skeptically. Wait- You're the one who took my escape pod. I had to beet up a guy for that one...over there...under water.
Morgan giggled, but it was short lived as Anna's words started to make sense. The girl then looked rather apologetic. Apparently, Morgan ended up on the ship by accident- and the ship happened to be full of very unfriendly people. unfriendly is right...Anna mused out loud to the girl. They're illegal drug and weapons dealers. I was sent to- stop- them. Figured the best way to do that was to hide out on the ship, plant some explosives- and escape when the ship went boom. I just had to make sure we were near a planet first.
Morgan widened her eyes, then narrowed them in irritation.
You were there the whole time? Why didn't you help me hide from them?
Anna shifted slightly and looked away from the girl with a shrug. I heard them say something about finding a kid on deck 11, but first, I couldn't compromise my position on the ship- and second- I was in the middle of very good book, and I was almost done with it. Good thing I finished it too- it's at the bottom of that lake.
Morgan growled and gave Anna a glare. Then she realized who the Seer was, and backed away sheepishly. Anna sighed and reached out to take Morgan's hand, pushing herself to her feet, with her leg being bandaged up as best it could be. Don't be afraid of me Morgan. I'm not um- Well I'm not an enemy anymore.
Morgan hesitated, before taking Anna's hand and standing up also. You tried to kill my daddy. Morgan announced, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. Anna winced and looked away. yea- I know. I tried to kill a lot of people, and succeeded a few times. But I'm not like that anymore. You've seen people change before Morgan, I know you can believe me. Anna said, lifting her free hand to adjust her bangs over her scarred eyes. Let me prove it to you- by getting you out of here, ok?
Ok... Morgan said with a firm nod and a little smile. Eventually the two rested in the broken down hut that use to be the Jedi Master Yoda's place of lodging. Some how, though very old, the place remained in tact. Their travels took them further into the swamp, to the very same cave Luke Skywalker faced the darkside within himself, and both tested themselves. Morgan seemed rattled by her experience, but Anna emerged from the cave with a very determined expression on her face. We need to go. At Morgan's curious expression, Anna picked the child up and began walking quickly through the swamp. Something.... is hunting us.
Are you sure?? Morgan asked as Anna began to run, some how missing trees and vines, even though she had no eyes. The force guided her, and she moved as fluidly as she could with the ground so uneven and dangerous. I know what I saw Morgan. This thing's either hunting us- or will be soon. I can hear it. We aren't in any position to fight a predator. We'll need some kind of weapons, and I think I know where to get some.
Morgan held tight to Anna, nodding in agreement before asking what kind of 'something' was it. I'm not quite sure. It's big- it's very big. I only catch glimpses of it, gold skin- big horns. It doesn't look like anything native to this planet.
Morgan stopped talking for a good long while, and held very tightly to Anna, suddenly shivering. What's wrong? What are you afraid of? Have you seen something like that before?
Run faster! Morgan shouted, burring her face in Anna's shoulder. Anna- for a moment felt confused until she was made aware of the story plaguing Morgan's life. The new understanding prompted the Seer to absolutely run faster. But that came at a price. She hit a soft patch of ground, and tripped on a root. Pitching forward, both tumbled into a clearing, where stood a large tower- absolutely different than the one on Felucia. This was a base of some kind. Quickly getting to her feet, Anna grabbed Morgan's hand and raced toward the heavy locked metal door. Stand back! Anna shouted, before thrusting both her hands out and shouting a string of words even Morgan had trouble listening to. Red lightening streaked from the Seer's arms and lanced through the air, attacking the door and forcing it to open. Come on- inside, now! Morgan blinked, dazed by the display- but Anna was ushering her inside. Even the child now could hear thudding sounds in the forest, nearing the clearing. The trees broke, and a flash of gold could be seen before Anna whirled around and latched onto the doors with the force. Yanking backwards with her arms, she slammed the two massive doors closed. The pounding steps echoed within the tower, growing louder and louder. With a grit of her teeth, Anna lifted one hand- the steady stream of red lightning issuing forth again as she heated the metal and fused the two doors together. Just as the red line of molten metal reached the ground, and started to cool, something large and strong slammed against the door- knocking Anna backwards and breaking her concentration. She lay on the floor as the loud pounding continued. What ever was out there- it wanted in.
Anna! Anna, He'll get in! He's hunting for me! BANG Anna jolted as another ramming sound echoed from the door, to the rest of the tower. Sitting up, she shook her head and pulled herself to her feet, shakily. Putting a hand on Morgan's shoulder, the Seer shook her head. He's not getting through that door- I promise. BANG! Anna's hand subconsciously gripped tighter to Morgan's shoulder as she backed away from the door. But we should still keep moving. There are other ways into a tower. They began searching hallways, and unlocked rooms, looking for some kind of armory. In the center of the tower was a large shaft- topped with an octagonal glass skylight, which allowed the moon's light to make a huge shape on the floor. Other than that, no other lights were present, except for emergency chem light sticks Morgan had salvaged from her escape pod.The constant, rhythmic banging and the low lighting made for a very eerie scene. The banging was so perfectly timed- that both of them almost didn't notice, when it stopped. As the two turned a corner, Anna stopped and glanced around. Morgan... do you hear anything? The girl shook her head, then widened her eyes at the implications. Shh- he's not in here. I told you he couldn't get through that door. Anna hesitated, reaching out her hand and lowering her head. he's climbing the wall- he wants to break through the glass on top. Anna shuttered, glimpsing a brief image of what was to come. They had to act quickly. Kneeling to Morgan's level, Anna explained that they could destroy this abandoned tower when the creature made it inside. Together, they found the armory, and set about placing explosives they'd found there, in key parts of the tower- quickly linking them all together. With the length of wire they had, the only logical place to put the switch was in the center of the tower's shaft. And as they stood there- Anna understood that someone had to stay behind and blow the tower. And obviously, it wouldn't be Morgan. Hey- Morgan, listen to me, and do exactly what I tell you. Run down that hall. There's a smaller door there, you can probably push opened with the force. After that, keep running, straight until you come to a cliff, and wait there. I know- someone will come get you there. Don't ask me how, don't ask me why- Just trust me.
Morgan looked confused, and opened her mouth to protest- but both of them heard a fantastic cracking sound, and both realized there was a large shadow being passed on the ground. Run Morgan! Run and don't stop!
Anna shoved the girl in the right direction as the ceiling exploded and rained glass down upon them. Morgan ran- and as soon as Anna heard the door pushed opened, the threw the switch, and the tower ignited and collapsed. Anna peered up with an eyeless gaze, and a strange content smile on her face, at the magnificent creature falling from the sky. It's golden skin reflected against the particles of glass, and its fiery eyes landed distinctly on her figure. He fell as if in slow motion- bronze main of hair flowing back from his massive horns, claws extended to take his prey- as the tower folded in around them.
And the scene went black.
The fact his attack did little in the way of breaking his adversary's focus on the death field, disappointed the Knight, but if that disappointment showed on the man's face, Antidar wouldn't see it. Reacting with instinct, the Knight thrust out his hand as the metal bracing surged toward him, though he was only able to halt it where it flew and drop it to the ground. All the while his adversary was getting closer, forcing him to retreat a few more steps back. This, above all else, bothered the Knight, who was never keen on giving up ground. But there was a tactical advantage here, mainly, not having one's life sapped away and into another being. With measured thought, his hands now at his side, the Knight concluded that focusing on objects around the man would not be enough to deter him. Therefore, he must focus on the man himself. With meticulous concentration the Knight focused on Antidar- but deeper than the whole man. What the knight focused on was Antidar's joints, his knees and ankles, shoulders and elbows- those parts of the body where bone met bone in a fragile relationship of cartilage and sinuses. And with a purposeful motion, the Knight clinched his right fist, collapsing the force on those very small portions of his adversary's body in a emotionally fortified force crush. He really did not want to take another step backwards.
The droid took a step toward the Echani as blaster fire struck her, and she fell to the ground in pain, wanting to take advantage of her downed state. But that backfired when Sinina rammed her sword into the droid's foot and then proceeded to hack at its other leg with a lightsaber. Both attacks seemed to work- at least partly. Her stab caused the droid to stand there, in one place, while the saber strike connected partly with the droid's leg, sending sparks flying and for a moment, the leg became useless as power was rerouted to it. So- the droid collapsed, and then realized its left arm- the one which had fired at Sinina first, was- well, gone. With its right knee bent, and its left leg out of commission, the droid attempted to make a punch at the Echani's injured leg as she stood before it. which ever one would do. The blaster burns were already starting to hurt her. The girl just needed a little more stimulation to yield.

Raven regarded the man as he tore his helm from his head and revealed his true self. She also noted the clan symbol on his face, and the clipped Mandalorian language issuing fiercely from his lips. She saw the violent flare in his eyes- and in her experience with the Mandalorian culture, she understood that he, above all others in this group- wouldn't stop until he either died, or completed his mission. The Jedi pursed her lips. She'd already killed a few of these men. She supposed she could kill another. For a stray moment, she cast a glance over at Sinina, feeling a stab of her pain. She wanted to help, but while her attention was diverted, the Mandalorian had lunged closer, a violent cry resounding from his figure.
Afraid to insult me in basic? I get it. At least you said the word jedi- and I'm the only Jetii here.
And then the blade came into view- with practiced aim the man shot for her lower body- but Raven was fast. Leaping backwards, she preformed a back flip, her blade carving a circle around her, deflecting blaster fire back at the Mandalorian. She landed cleanly in a crouch, her saber held in front of her, pointed up- the crouch making her an even smaller target. Want to do this the old fashion way- or should I end it quickly? It should be noted, that this move also landed her closer to the lab, and Sinina.

She smiles triumphantly as the droid started to collapse, she was going to beat it. She realized a big problem with that though, with the droid no longer standing, she was in full view of all the troopers, which seemed to fixate on her instead of Raven. That was not ideal. On top of it all, she heard words, that sounded very Mando'a. Her ears perked, and she dared a glance that way, she wanted to see the clan.*
Norac laam ner'vod.
*she spat at the Mandalorian. She didn't have time to do more then that as she had to block blaster fire from troops, spinning her blade up to defend herself and start her dance, but just as she started to move, she had a fist connect to her wounded knee, she was certain she'd heard a cracking sound, the pain from the blow was more then she'd expected, sending her downwards again, which threw off her movement, leading to the shot she was trying to block hitting her in her shoulder, making her fall into a falling spin, she contacted the ground, hard. She groans softly as she laid there, she slashed her saber at the droids face with a snarl.*
Sithspit.
*She was so angry, how could she have faltered that horribly. She cursed herself inwardly. She should have been stronger. Faster. More prepared. She drew into herself, maybe the vision she'd seen was right...she was failing again. Again, their faith was wrongly being put in her. She growled, but the pain she was feeling made it sound more like a whimper. Anger was growing within her again. She shifts, and grabs the last surprise she had hidden on her belt, a sonic grenade. She waited as long as she could, she didn't want them a chance to throw it back, and throws it towards the largest group of enemies. She tries to drag herself back as quickly as she could while using one hand. Her other still trying to deflect other blaster bolts back from herself. Every amount she moved, pain shot through her body.*

The Mandolorian that had until that moment kept up a steady barrage of fire at Raven, slid to a halt at the words from the gray skinned girl, if one looked closely the marking on his face would reveal clan Ordo, he brushed it off and fired two shots in her general direction before resuming his attack on the Jedi, ignoring her words, he came swinging low trying to aim for the hilt of her light saber while trying to get his blaster in close to fire into her gut. The other soldiers slowly began to advance forward, only firing a few random shots here and there as the other combatants fought trying not to hit their own man. Loki watched as the creature chased them his heart racing, he paid little heed to the small child but felt fear for both of them. Suddenly as once more the familiar sensation of darkness snapped back, Loki looked into the void, his feet shuffling him in a circle. He wondered if The Array was playing a trick, planning an attack..something anything. His heightened senses told him nothing, so he waited, waited to be shown more....

Thea couldn't help but to smile. She wouldn't have minded staying in his arms a little longer, however she seemed to be distracted by Dominion and the woman. Righting herself, she turned her attention back to Atton and smiled again.
"Thanks for catching me, I should be fine."
Turning towards the others, she watched as woman made her way closer to Dominion and stood there cocking her head. When the woman crouched down, Thea wanted to jump in between them but knew better. She was not a fighter and didn't think she could do anything to help. Looking over at Atton, she wondered if he would step in and protect her rescuer. Her attention was again drawn back to them when Dominion backed up, putting distance between them again. Suddenly he fired his gun and Thea dropped to the ground, hoping not to accidentally get hit. She started crawling on the floor until she reached the wall and put her back to it. Standing up again, she made sure that she didn't look like a threat. The woman seemed to lean away from the gun fire and seemed unphased. Thea's mind raced, trying to figure out what to do. Again the woman was closer to Dominion and Thea held her breath for a few seconds. She had no clue why they were even fighting each other. When Dominion threw the gun towards them, she looked at it as it skidded across the floor and landed at her feet. Bending over, she picked it up and looked at it like it would bite her. She had never even held a gun, let alone fire one. One thought did run through her mind, better to have the gun than the enemy to have it. Thea remembered the scream and wondered if she could replicate it and aim it at the woman. Suddenly she shook her head of the thought and watched from afar.

Gray dust settled slowly around Loki, and he would soon be able to see the jagged ruins of the once well fortified tower on Dagobah. The massive golden creature he had seen just seconds prior, was standing over something, lifting a large chunk of stone wall paneling with little strain, and throwing it aside. Under it, lay Anna- the demonic dagger protruding from her chest. For a moment, she looked dead. The dagger's position would suggest it had pierced hear heart. The golden figure didn't look too much better. One of his large, elegant horns had been completely broken off. His flowing main of hair hung raggedly down his broad shoulders, and he looked as if he hardly put any weight on his left leg.
Well- that's disappointing... The creature mused- his deep, almost rhythmic tone echoing darkly throughout the ruined structure. But suddenly, Anna moved. She slowly sat up against a pile of rubble and glanced down, realizing her hand was gripping the dagger protruding out of her chest. With a shutter and a gasping cry, she slowly pulled the blade from her chest and fell back against the rubble. She took in several deep breaths of air, murmuring a string of words as the wound in her chest began to knit itself back together and color slowly returned to her face.
Thanks. She said, sitting up again, and turning to face the massive creature.
The creature tilted his head, and then sat down next to Anna, looking over at her with an arched eyebrow. Do you know- what- I am? He stated curiously.
Oh yea. I know what you are. Anna slipped the dagger away and tilted her head up at the crumbled ceiling. Rain would be falling soon- but by then, she wouldn't notice. I also know you didn't get what you really wanted.
No. I didn't. But you'll do nicely. His voice softened, almost to a caring tone as he narrowed his eyes on the Seer. You do know how this works, don't you?
Anna nodded slowly, but made no motion to get away from him, as if his tone was calming her some now, putting her mind at ease despite what she knew was about to happen. It must be done. She sighed heavily, trying to relax her muscles. Resisting the unavoidable just made her tired. At least this demon was more inviting than the last one she'd battled against, and she didn't feel like fighting anymore. Anna was tired, tired of living everyone else's lives before they were even born- tired of Fate putting her into impossible situations and her walking up in the middle having no idea what the kriff was going on. She was tired of scaring and hurting everyone around her, and this creature offered her rest from all that.Go ahead- I'm ready.
Without a response, or a warning- the large creature moved with uncanny speed, turning his body and ramming his clawed hand into the girl's upper right shoulder, immediately shattering her collar bone. She yelped in pain, but not surprise as her shaky left hand retried her dagger. With staggered breaths, the Seer spoke quickly, then lurched forward, attempting to drive the dagger into the beast's chest. Something within her still willed her body to fight, to survive, but she was no match for this creature. With a quick swipe, the being's other hand knocked the dagger away and it sailed across the area, lodging in a crumbled wall behind him. And here I thought you'd be a wiling participant. It's alright. A desire to live is healthy, even if it's not always rewarded. His unoccupied clawed hand went for the side of her head, driving deep, penetrating her skull. For a moment, the beast shivered, and a very satisfied smile came to his face- revealing his sharp predatory teeth. Ah, you continue to impress me. Your force potential is so vast, so much more than the child I hunted for so long. Don't worry- He whispered softly. It'll be over soon. Anna cried out again, as the creature ripped his claws free of her clavicle and rammed them into the other side of her head. Soon, her short gasping cries would stop all together, falling silent as she faded, like her signature in the force. The creature's body now blocked Loki's view completely, but he could hear the taring and even some snapping sounds as the beast hunched over his prey, feasting not only on her force essence- but also her physical form as well.
And she would have died there, certainly- had it not been for the demonic dagger quavering against the wall, quite close to Loki's position. It fell to the ground, stabbing into the uneven stone- its runes glowing with Anna's last whispered incantation. A spinning mass of dark energy started to coalesce on the ground around the blade, still resting behind the predator and his latest victim. He was far too focused to notice a strange figure lifting up from the dark well of energy. And while the figure was tall, and completely cloaked- he was not Legion- rather a small part of him. The cloaked creature hesitated, turning its cloaked head toward Loki. For a brief second, two tumultuous yellow eyes blazed at him before the dark entity extended his crimson clawed hands from beneath his billowing robes. His talons were long and wickedly curved. Bolting for the golden predator- the demon screamed a high, compelling scream of uncontrollable zealous rage. While the predator flinched, as if to turn- he had no time before Zeal's talons sank deep into his adversary's armored back, some how carving right through the golden skin. With a mighty melodic roar, the golden creature reeled back, disoriented as the savage demon continued to attack him with madly slashing claws and a flurry of motion. The scene faded with Zeal's scream echoing away.
A bacta tank on Yavin IV would occupy Loki's vision next- the form within could hardly be called humanoid. Medics talked with one another and a few familiar Jedi about Anna's condition. The news sounded grave. It would take much time to repair the Seer- who, surprisingly still held onto her mind and at least a fraction of the living force. Anna was alive- and stable, but far from functioning.
Flashes of laser fire from above. Suddenly the the planet was under attack. The Jedi Academy was taking heavy damage, and people were fleeing the area- a lot of them didn't make it. But a strange ship- largely ignored by enemy fighters, was lifting into the upper atmosphere, and darting away from the planet, even as its surface and sky were lit ablaze by war and chaos.
When the scene shifted once more, the gray skinned doctor- whom Loki would recognize, stood before the capsule, holding Anna's body, in a room largely unfinished. She looked mostly in tact now- especially given the state she was in on Yavin IV. I took your form once-Farris mused, putting a hand on the glass with a sigh. It's only proper that- I help rebuild it again. I can't stop what's happening to you, Anna- but I can keep your secrets safe- even from myself. As a token, of repentance- I will defend you, with my life, and one day- I'll get you out of here. He turned away, facing the familiar circular security door, as it began to unlock. He whispered one last thing before the door opened. I hope- Anna, when you do awaken- that you can find it within yourself, to forgive me. His gray skin started to tan, and black hair sprang from his head. His silver eyes darkened to a dull blue color and he cleared his throat as someone approached from the door. Welcome commander. We are ready to proceed.
Very good, Dr Noble. I'm glad you haven't disappointed me. yet. The man said, adjusting a pare of tented glasses to shield his one good Arkanian eye from the bright lights of the lab.
Dr. Noble turned to the only control panel active, and punched in the activation codes, before looking back to the Arkanian. I do not intend to disappoint you- I can assure you, I will give my very best work to this project. With that, and a cold- determined glint to his eye, Noble pushed in one more command and closed his eyes.
Welcome, to the Anomaly Notification Neural Array. All primary and security systems on line. 100% working capacity in 20 minutes.
It's alive, Good work everyone. The Arkanian said, to the small gathering of people who had entered the room. He lifted a cybernetic hand in triumph. We have successfully connected technology, with the force itself. We can now control fate. The future is ours!
With a blur, lines of code started streaking past the Zabrak- taking the very recent scene with them, and ushering in a new scene. Water dripped and the air became damp and cool as Loki found himself in a cave. Perhaps- the planet would be familiar to him. Beyond the caves, unseen would be one of the mountain ranges and sprawling grasslands of Dantooine. The walls of the cave around Loki glinted slightly- scattered here and there with a few blueish crystals, but it appeared as if this part of the cave network hadn't been touched by anyone- Jedi or otherwise. Soon, a sound would reach the Zabrak's ears- an echoing cry, sounding much like an infant. It was difficult to follow- but the sound definately came from the direction he was facing. And there were no other sounds yet, no foot steps of any others searching for the desperate cay. Even still, the air felt alive with the force- almost like static.
The droid flailed as Sinina's angry stab landed perfectly, severing its visor. With sparks flying, the metallic structure flexed slightly before completely collapsing on the ground. While the droid was now no longer a threat, and the sonic grenade most certainly took out a good number of troops- rendering them non threatening for at least a while, now Sinina was exposed- unless she hid behind the droid's armored body, or something.

The Mandalorian took time to fire some shots off at Sinina and her witty come back- at least the jedi thought it might be witty, or she hoped so. She had no idea what either of them were saying. What ever the case, She took the opportunity close the gap about the same time he did. Because of this, she saw his blade strike, coming for her lightsaber, and she easily slid to the side, dropping her right shoulder and colliding her saber with his blade, using the force to augment her strength. This would place her to his side- but his blaster fire came too quickly for her to completely avoid. It would hit her left arm- normally, but the Jedi was in constant movement, honing in on his blaster while his blade was being occupied by hers. Raven's left hand shot out, gripping the blaster as it fired its shots which were intended for her gut- into her left palm. She hissed but did not stop moving- the blaster bolts ripping right through her hand seeming not to slow her down. The angry energy exposed what truly lay under her flesh- sparking metallic components and a few wires. Before they completely shorted out, her mechanical digits managed to latch onto the blaster, and her left arm yanked backwards, powerfully- in hopes of ripping the blaster from his hand. If that did happen, her inability to keep ahold of it, would send the weapon flying behind her somewhere toward the lab's door. Considering this all took a few seconds- her saber still sparked against his knife. She allowed the two blades to slide away from each other as she spun her golden saber around and making a quick jab for the Mandalorian's stomach. Her eyes were a deep bronze color now- intent and focused on the fight, possibly as intent as he was. It was clear that One of them wasn't walking away from this.

This was merely foolishness.* How rude....
The Arkanian didn't even have a chance to finish what he had been saying when a punch came in from the right side of his face. It was a bit of a surprise, and Adi didn't have a chance to completely dodge it. Instead of the orbital bone on the left side of his face, however, Matango had enough time to start to move, taking the punch to his jaw. It stumbled him backward a few steps, and the former Jedi felt the anger starting to well up inside him.
At least the man had enough guts to stick around and fight instead of running like an idiot.
There were about 5-6 steps between the two men, and Adi kept holding his ground. This was not a mission of attrition, it was a delaying action. He again brought up his left-side-front stance, and simply waited for the other man to make another move. Matango wasn't going to push his luck and go on the offensive yet...This guy was strong, meaning that Adieumus needed to be careful in what he was doing. This guy meant business, and if Adieumus was having issues in fighting him, that meant that the crew, already weary from the trials and tribulations that they had to endure just to get here, would have a lot of trouble too. Adieumus couldn't take the chance of one of the others getting hurt. It was sheer dumb blind luck that Loki was alive after the assault earlier, and no one else had been subject to actually getting attacked. Hopefully, no one else would be, and Adi was here to ensure that THIS guy in front of him didn't get to the rest of the crew, or get past him for that matter....at least until Anna was out safe. The only thing that mattered was that Anna got out as safely as they could do it.

*The punch had connected, directly to his jaw. Not Soku's original target, but an appropriate one regardless. He made his space, analyzing his situation briefly. The opponent had some skill with the Force... but no traditional weapons. This did not necessarily make him less of a threat, but it certainly gave the Knight of Ren the advantage, in his opinion. However, he could certainly benefit from some method or methods of distraction...
Test him. See what other tricks or knowledge he may have. Soku strode forward, lifting the hilt of his blade above his left shoulder before lashing out with a horizontal blow across his foe's chest, tip of the blade scraping the wall as the blow fell, the metal hissing with steam at the touch. It was merely a simple move, but the sooner Soku could understand how this one fought, the easier it would be to find the way to defeat him.*

*Sin managed to deflect the shots with her saber, groaning at the pain even that movement caused in her shoulder, how did her mother and Teo do it. It was painful. She bites her lip as she stretched out her leg, she grabbed some tape from her pouch, wrapping it as tight as she could around her knee, she wouldn't be able to bend it, which was the point. She struggles to get to her feet, it was more painful then she thought it would be, and she'd much rather just lay down and rest, but they couldn't stop. They had to keep them from the lab. Whatever it took. They only had to buy time. She frowns though as she makes a realization of the symbols he had on his face. Ordo. What? That couldn't be right.*
Gar enteyor cuyir darmanda. Gar are nayc Ordo!
She spat darkly at the man fighting Raven. She glared his way, but had no time to focus on him, she had to deflect shots away from herself. She cringed at each movement, but she would send shots back at the troops as long as she had the ability to move. She had to buy time, that was it. A little more time. She focused on that thought, and it alone.*

E`yame heard the guy say her name. She glared at him, not liking the fact that this guy, who might be the enemy, knew her name and used it so casually. When he asked her to help Anna, she glared even harder. If looks could kill, her's would. Sighing mentally, she trotted over to her and took off her gauntlets and started ripping off the arm restraints, not really caring if they hurt Anna or not. "The bitch deserves it" she thought to herself and continued to remove the restraints. After she was done, she made her way back over to the door, replacing her gauntlets and peering at the chaos, wondering if they needed her help. She knew Loki needed protection, but she would much rather be in the fight than be in the same room with Anna at this point. Turning back around, she watched Loki and kept the door in her sight at the same time. If anyone made it through, she would blast them into oblivion. She had enough of these games. This mission almost made her lose her father and if it were her choice, she would grab her father and leave this girl behind. Let her get buried underneath all the rubble of this place, she deserved that. When it came to her family, everyone else seemed like little ants that Eya would crush under her pretty converse sneakers.

The other man drew back with his lightsaber across his own left shoulder, and Adi saw the attack that was coming. He started to duck as the weapon came in, and just as it was about to make contact, Matango was clear. The weapon sailed just over his head, and across, sparks flying as the saber struck the wall. Adieumus then took a step forward, and threw first a right palm thrust, then a left, followed by a final right. They were aimed, from first to last, stomach, bottom of the ribcage, and directly over top of where the darksider's heart would be. He threw the attacks with speed behind them, each one following the other in very close succession to the others....rapid fire, if you will.
Years of training in martial arts, and immersion in force speed, gave Adi something of an edge in a hand to hand fight, at least for the most part. He could strike opponents so fast that his hands would appear a blur to a non-force user, or someone not trained to pick out attacks. Training for hours by throwing punches in deep water with nothing but a rebreather gave his muscles memory to snap out just a moment quicker than most would, and when you added in the force to boost the speed? Well, it made for a very difficult blow to defend against...let alone when it was three in quick succession. This was starting to get really dangerous...this guy was pretty damn good, and he probably wasn't even warmed up yet. It almost looked as if he was simply just =playing= with Adi...probing his defenses....probably setting him up for something that was going to end the day on a really bad note....
He was just hoping that the bad note wasn't going to be the deadly kind....

Noble turned his head and narrowed his eyes at the death glare the girl was giving him as she ...rather roughly yanked opened the restraints holding Anna. Hold up- I didn't say you were done. Noble said with a shake of his head. He motioned with one of his hands for E'yame to once more approach the capsule. Now that she's unrestrained, you need to set her upright, so she can cough and clear the fluid from her sinuses- or she'll drown like that. He frowned slightly, wondering if this girl would even be reliable. Oh how he missed Thea- even in captivity, she was always reliable. Briefly, he wondered where she was, and if she was even still alive. Normally I'd do it myself- but I cannot leave the console, or The Array will take full control again- and Anna can't do it herself either. She's unconscious. He hesitated, and gave E'yame an almost pleading expression. Look- I know she's not your favorite person right now, but none of this has been her doing. She's been unconscious the whole time- for 2 years. I really, seriously need your help. No one else can do what I need you to do right now, and if she dies- all this suffering from the crew, and even yourself, will be for nothing- so, please, try to save your anger for later- until we're out of here.

The Mandolorian, slid to the side letting his blaster go as he slammed his blade down along her’s using it to lift himself up using it to launch his jackbooted feet into her tiny frame, ignoring the screaming claim of not a true Ordo from the Echani brat across the way.
Loki watched the scenes unfold, he seemed to have finally regained some of his normal composure as the scenes moved ever forward. However as they neared the end and Anna was taken and brought here, his unconscious form squeezed his fists so hard to Loki’s emotional reaction that blood dripped from his clenched fists. Once more the scene shifted and binary code flew by, then a familiar smell assailed his senses, he blinked rapidly before realizing he was in the crystal caverns of Dantooine..He could even see the passage to take to get to the few things he had hidden here. He then heard the cries. Slowly he moved forward, following the sound. He knew these caves well, he had been here many times. Mainly to steal crystals, to remain hidden from, those Jedi his brother lead. And other reasons, the place where Kana had been unsealed from. Loki kept moving towards the noise, his body almost drawn to it.
