Dominic ran slightly ahead of the Zabrak, as Ariela, a man she was carrying and some other man started running next to them. At the sight of them, Dominic jumped to the side, but kept running. He kept looking over his shoulder at the droid, making sure she didn't try to attack him. Eventually they made it to the hanger, a ship hovering there. Thea, the man from before, some woman on the ship and there, standing... was the spitting image of Darth Aion. From the vision he was given and the lessons he was given on Sith, that armor was exactly the same. He wanted to stop and star what him, but the ticking time bomb kinda urged him on.
There was another ship there. Ariela carried the man inside to some medic, and the other man started talking to Thea, ignoring the Force User that helped against Ariela. He took a glance at both ships. Aion, or the psycho robot...
He leaped into the ship with Ariela. At least he knew what she was capable of. Hopefully no on would object..? "Come on!" He yelled to Thea. As he looked now, he leaned back a little, noticing that Thea was hugging... Dr. Noble. He shook his head. Why didn't he notice him before? "We don't have precious seconds to meet and greet!"

E`yame smiled at Raven and followed her through the twist and turns of the hall. She ignored Anna as much as she could. Then the voice of the Array came at them from, what felt like, everywhere. Anna stiffened and Eya seemed to speed up just a little bit more. She did not want to be anywhere near that voice. When they finally rounded a corner, she saw the opening to the hanger and almost sighed in relief. If anything was going to attack now, everyone was here to take them down. She noticed a few new faces and her face grew sceptical. They were here to rescue one, not all. That was when she saw a woman carrying someone right onto the Son. Her breath caught in her throat. Her father looked horrible, so horrible that Eya left Raven behind and started tearing through the hangar, with Anna in her arms. It must have been bumpy for Anna but Eya wasn't paying attention to anything but getting onto that ship. Her entire focus zoomed in on it and she ran up the ramp and into the medical bay. She sat Anna on one of the tables and ran over to her father's side. Tears were now dripping down her face.
"Dad?"
Before she even had a chance to say anymore, something came flying in and landed right on her shoulder. E`yame blinked a few times and looked over and smiled at Zee. The sight almost made her laugh out loud. He was standing there, in his 7 inches of glory, hands on his hips, glaring.
"You left me here? I could have helped!"

People started flooding into the hangar. All new faces, people she didn't know. She gave up on her question to Atton and moved closer to him. She had no clue how any of this was about to go down. That was until she saw a familiar face. She couldn't help but smile at him and hug him back.
"You are alive!"
She giggled and looked sheepish when he talked about her concussion. She knew it was bad but knew she would be alright.
"Well good help is hard to come by these days."
Thea gave Dr. Noble a wink and watched him leave and head onto the ship. Then she heard another familiar voice, Dominion. She smiled at him and shook her head. Turning to Atton, she put her hand on his arm and looked at him.
"See you in there?"
Before she even heard his answer, she made her way onto the ship and turned the way Dr. Noble went. When she got there, he was nowhere in sight. There was someone else there that she didn't know but they were standing over some guy who was badly beat up. There was also the woman from the hangar and another woman, talking to something small. Her curiosity on the little man, sent Thea into a million questions that she kept to herself. Then there was Anna. Smiling at her, she walked over towards her.
"Hello Anna, how are you doing?"

Post by Farris Argon Noble on Sept 27, 2016 18:58:31 GMT -8
A few seconds passed before Farris managed to find the med bay- and when he did, it only took a few seconds for it to become rather crowded. With a sigh, he considered making himself smaller- but then remembered he couldn't do that, considering how much...weight he was packing. The first to inter after his initial arrival was E'yame, who thankfully had Anna in her arms, but the seer was the last thing in her mind. Depositing Anna on a medical table- thankfully, with some measure of care, the Adkanian's daughter ran to her Father's side, looking afraid for his life. Indeed, Adieumus' injures had to be tended to quickly- even before Anna's. Then, Thea arrived and they caught eachother's eye. Farris frowned. She could not recognize him, and it would be a complex issue to explain it all to her now. But eventually, he was certain he'd need her help. But for now, she was taking care of Anna, leaving Farris to tend fully to Adieumus Matango. So- I have no idea where anything is. Hmmmm The Polydroxol muttered as he started moving around the room quickly- even gracefully weaving between the onlookers as if they weren't even there. Within seconds he had opened almost every cabinet and drawer in the room, returning back to Adi's side with an assortment of things unique to the Wayward Son. The most important item being a nice big bag of Arkanian C- blood. Without a word, and with delicate practice, Farris hooked the bag to a clip against the bed's attached stand, and fed a sterilized IV needle into the Arkanian's arm.
Ok, He breathed, Ribs. Without hesitation, the Polydroxol lifted his left hand. His metallic palm flattened out completely into a razor sharp edge and he slid the now blade like appendage under and up, cutting the Arkanian's shirt in half. Seconds later, he had five left fingers again, and he acted as if no one was watching him. Gently, he folded back to blood stained fabric and looked down at Adieumus' discolored chest, with bruises covering it like continents on a map. Emulating a low whistle, Farris hovered his right palm over Adi's chest. Closing his eyes, a small lighted circle might be seen peaking out from beneath his palm- shining a light over Adi's damaged chest. After a few seconds, Farris closed his hand and opened his eyes. He sighed slightly and shook his head. Walking around to Adieumus' head, the Polydroxol lifted his left hand, concentrating on it for a short time before closing his fist and lowering it down to Adi's neck. A small needle protruded from between what appeared to be the polydroxol's knuckles and he inserted this into the Arkanian's neck. Waiting a few more seconds, for Adi's body to start relaxing from the nerve dampener he'd been injected with, Farris grabbed a bag of clear fluid from the table he'd dumped everything he'd found in the med bay, on- and hooked it up to a side tube, connecting it to Adi's IV also.
Only then, did the Polydroxol look at E'yame with a tired, but relaxed expression on his face. He's going to be fine. I have more work to do on him- but I'm not going to attempt anything...delicate while we're reaching orbit.
Glancing over at Anna, he smiled slightly at the Seer. She would have to wait as well. He cast one more fast glance at E'yame, indicating Anna with his hand, almost limply. Thank you... for getting her...out. With a small cough, the Polydroxol drifted to his knees and leaned back against the wall, peering up at the ceiling with suddenly distant eyes. The blaster injuries- now invisible to everyone else, finally had to be dealt with. If....he starts to bleed .... on his side....Thea knows what to do. His eyes remained opened- sense it cost more energy to move them than it was worth, but Farris, at least for right now, became very cold and very still. He had a debt to pay to his injuries, and it was overdue.

*Sinina was surprised when Loki had scooped her up, she had expected that it would be Anna he carried out, seeing as with help she could walk, Anna did not look so able. She knew she wouldn't be that much trouble for him to carry, but she held on anyways, as they went along, she watched for anything out of the ordinary, and for others that they knew. As the adrenaline rush from being in combat started to drain from her system, she couldn't help but realize how tired and worn down she was, or just how much her wounds ached, her knee felt like someone was stabbing it every time loki took a step. She bites her lip and remained quiet.*

Raven walked into the hangar, and her eyes lit up at the sight of so many people, struggling, or unharmed physically. She knew though, that every one of them in this room had been through some ordeal during this mission. She could feel it, resonating within each and every one of them, whether it showed on the outside or not. But it felt right, in a strange way, people who hardly knew eachother, all gathered here, all with the same goal. Considering the goal was to escape a deadly explosion, was beside the point, at least in Alora's mind. She breathed in and out a calming sigh and couldn't help but smile. So, to anyone looking, the small Jedi might look quite ridiculous and euphoric. Perhaps it was because of how tired she was. What ever the case, she extinguished her lightsaber, managed to give every single person in the hangar a brief look, and then headed onto the Wayward Son. Others were quickly following and she was quite certain everyone would make it before the blast. Perhaps, deep down, it was just the fact that she'd found closure, what she was looking for after two endless years of searching, and now matter how different the company was- Raven Alora no longer felt like a deserter. She felt refreshed, redeemed.
Pausing just outside the med bay, She felt Adieumas's presence flickering and knew he was in pain. But the room was already full of people and her muscles were still tense from the fighting. She needed to calm her mind and find her center again. Knowing they would lift off soon, Raven went to her quarters figuring she'd check on the medical situation to see if she could help, after the ship left orbit. She really didn't want to be in the way.
Meeka, the small Tailring flitted around in annoyance. She had dropped her passenger, and regardless to his state of health after the fall, she felt embarrassed for dropping something because she wasn't paying attention. It wasn't until she realized she'd dropped Zee perfectly upon E'yame's shoulder. She settled atop one of the shelves and peered down at the tiny human with a flick of her tail. Well- at least her aim was flawless... She obviously meant to drop him there....obviously.
Anna counted until she reached that magical time and finally opened her eyes. The sensation of opening eyelids was so odd to her now. She'd not have natural true eyes for years, and she wasn't sure she liked it. But what she saw almost made her cry. While she was certain all these people weren't here for her- she was sure they were all here because of her and what these people had made her into. She wondered how many more remained dead or dying within the darkened hallways of the lab, doomed to listen to The Array's final desperate words until they were berried or burned.
But she didn't have time to sulk over it. Before she could think, E'yame was running. She shivered, feeling a breeze caress her skin. Oh, by the force, she wanted to run too. She wanted to feel movement in her limbs again. Blinking, she realized the motion had stopped and she was laying on a medical table, unrestrained, surrounded by air- not oxygen rich fluid, and more importantly- not wired to anything. With a breath, she blinked up at Thea's form, and for a few seconds, she had to order her mind to remember who the girl was. It clicked quickly. Thea was Noble's assistant, the one she had latched onto when The Array pulled visions from her while she was simi conscious. It was one of the first times she was truly aware of where she had been placed, and the memory would remain with her for eternity. She smiled a small smile of relief as Thea spoke to her. I like your voice, The Seer said quietly, closing her eyes again. She had no idea why she was so tired. She'd been asleep for two years. .... I'm cold... She said, as a shiver rippled through her. Thea would note the absolute lack of automation in Anna's voice. It wasn't completely different from The Array's, but it certainly was its own, unbound by algorithms and calculations. It was fully and completely sentient.

Loki and Sin turned a corner following closely on Dom's heel's seeing the others converge with them in the hallway adjacent to the hanger, they all managed to pass through the doors, Loki sprinted up the ramp of the sun, heading for the med bay trying to discern who all was aboard the ship finding an empty bed and placing Sin it before stepping back silently, he wondered how much time was left and headed for the cock pit. Upon reaching it he looked at Raxxie who looked back, he seemed to be about to say something, but looking into her violet eyes, he hesitated and looked back into the other bays. "I think almost everyone is aboard." He said quietly, she nodded and looked away, wondering what was wrong with the behemoth Zabrak, the one who looked so much like her father yet so vastly different, she only remembered snatches of her life before she landed in this job, she remembered eyes like hers and a caring smile. and long black hair she'd tug, the only thing similar about these two was that Loki was the same race and big, that was it, nothing else was the same..Was it? She turned around and looked at his back as he treated down the metallic halls towards the ramp, checking on the others she hoped, he was a strange being...

Thea looked at Atton and smiled even bigger. She could tell that he was at a loss for words. "Yes, as what I said was a joke."She had a feeling that this was gonna take forever to get out of here, until she heard the guy talking to some wayward son. She had no clue who he was, but finally she understood when she ship landed inside the hanger. Her hair flew everywhere and she quickly covered her face from anything that might be kicked up from the wind. She also noticed a woman coming out of another ship that had landed, and noticed she headed straight to the other guy. She mostly ignored them and looked back over to Atton. "Is this yours?" *Atton pointed to the Wayward Son as it landed in the hangar.*"That one is. Dunno about the other one." *And quite frankly he didn't care. Hopefully that one didn't come with a killer robot woman...
In any case, Atton board the Wayward Son, taking care to let some of the other crazies on board first before heading up the ramp himself. He was rather shocked to see Adi, or what appeared to be his corpse. The spark of life within was just barely there though. Hopefully one of these crazy people was a doctor...*

Watching everyone climb onto the Son was far less eventful than he had anticipated. And, while he was relieved to see the condition of his former friend had not gone snuffed, he was still rather fraught with a rage that had the Force swelling around him in light of his daughter’s presence. His posture changed, his fists clenching with the give of the metal and his arms widening their birth from his body as he stood almost in an intent manner before drawing in a breath and exhaling it slowly. While he was sure, granted his condition, he could have assailed any of the individuals in the room with little effort he was apt to remember the condition of his body and the position they were all in in high fragility. Turning his head and his posture to look past his daughter, his gaze fell on the infiltrator just on the border of the hangar threshold. ”I’vya, board the ship, I will join you momentarily.”
He echoed as she turned to face him, prompted by the use of her name. She gave little argument, but as she turned to approach the Son she could not help but acknowledge the various men and women who had boarded the Son with little hesitation. She had never seen so many people in one place, and for another she had never seen a being as large as the one who appeared massively red and in similar feature to the Sith Assassin her aunt had told her so much about. While she was sure he was not linked to the infamous assassin, she could not help the thought as she moved away from her father and began to board the craft. She was an inherently curious girl and it made for an uneasy conversion of thoughts for Kaja himself. He may not have watched her, but he could keep a very tight link on her signature; even as his attentions focused on the Infiltrator.
Lifting his arm, turning his hand with his palm upward, he lit up a small hologram of the infiltrator’s schematics then with a twitch of his fingers brought up the system relay. With a twitch of his pointer, ring and pinky he was able to access the mainframe of the ships computer and within moments the craft’s landing ramp was retracting and it was beginning to make it’s ascent. Flicking his thumb and pointer he initiated the ship’s cloaking system and finally engaged the ships sensors. It was not before the loading hatch closed however that he allowed two activated Sith Probe Droids to let loose from the hatch and move to scan the surrounding areas. There was never a crudeness to exploring one’s surroundings even when one was secure. He had learned that over his lifetime, and he was not soon to forget. As such when he was satisfied with this, still monitoring the Infiltrator’s schematics, sensors and the images from the probe droids, he made his way up the ramp of the Son and towards where he knew his daughter would go.
”Your father is strong. He will survive this. He has survived before. My father takes great care in maintaining your father’s survival, though, I know not why.” Came her voice as she had stopped just inches from Ey’ame. He stiffened internally at the sight of Matango’s condition but made his way towards the edge of the Medical bay’s door. He knew his daughter could handle herself well enough, in spite of her forward nature, one could not be blamed for spending their childhood restricted specialized education and training. Dantooine, and in turn his father’s estate, were as deadly as they were welcoming.

E`yame looked up at a woman she didn't know. How was it that people seemed to know more about her father than she did. She hated that fact and decided not to answer. She really didn't have an answer for the woman, even if she tried. Eya looked at her father, feeling that his force signature was weak. She reached her hand out and grabbed his, hoping beyond all hope, that this wasn't the last time they would be together.
Zee had jumped down and was now roaming around the medical bay. He had stopped not far from Anna and looked at her curiously. He looked at the table that she was sitting on, and started opening a bunch of drawers next to it and began to climb up. Once he got onto the bed, he walked over to her, which looked more like a strut, and plopped himself down on her chest.
"Well hello there."

Thea stared at the unknown man while he worked on another guy. Her jaw dropped open when she saw how he was using his hands for tools. She had never seen anything like it. She couldn't look away. When the guy was finally done, Thea was enraptured and wanted to ask him a million questions. Her attention was diverted from him and she looked at Anna who had spoke to her. Thea looked around the room and found a closet and walked over to it, opening it up. She was happy to see some blankets inside and grabbed one and took it back over to Anna. She unfolded the blanket and covered up the girl and looked at her face. Then she noticed the little man walk proudly on Anna's chest and looked back at Anna.
"You are safe now, get some real sleep. It will do you some good."

*Sin sighs deeply as Loki laid her on one of the beds in the med bay. She looked up at him, and then without a word he turned and left. She frowns a little and tilted her head, watching him walk off. She bites her lip softly. She hurt, she was tired. She looked around and seen that there was a bustle of activity. She wasn't to be the only one here. She hoped everyone was fine. Her knee was in alot of pain, but other then that most of it was dulled away. She didn't want to sleep now. She wanted to stay awake and see what happened now. The result of all their hard work. Her eyes felt heavy as she laid there. Her mind buzzed.*

Anna's frame relaxed quickly as Thea put the blanket over her. She sighed a very happy sort of sigh as she closed her eyes. It had been so long sense she'd felt something other than chill liquid touch her skin. The blanket was so soft, like being embraced by a cloud. In reality, it probably wasn't the softest blanket in the universe , but to Anna it was a real comfort. Thea, She said softly, looking at her directly. Thank you. I know- you never really wanted to be here. You could have resisted, or complied like any other prisoner- but you've done more than that. She closed her eyes with a small sigh. You care. She opened her eyes once more, peering up at the ceiling as she finished. And no matter how unwanted the circumstances... I'm glad to have met you. She would have fallen asleep there- for, just because she was unconscious for two years, didn't mean she was resting. Perhaps on yavin, there was rest, but once the Array had control of her mind, there was no rest- ever. The machine ran day and night, without pausing, or releasing her mind for one second. But just as her eyes began to close again, a small figure came into focus. He spoke to her and for a moment she just looked confused. Hello... She said, smiling just enough to look friendly. If she were lucky, everyone else on the ship wouldn't look at her like some kind of terrible threat after all this. The last thing she wanted, was to frighten anyone else. You must be brave to climb all the way up here, just to say hi. What's your name? And through the whole conversation, her still multitasking mind kept wandering over to another presence in the room, the girl, Ivya- and her vast and hidden potential. Where other's energy within the force could be a roller-coaster of light and dark energy or a stark contrast between the two, this girl's signature was like a single tone, a thin ringing bell with no shift in pitch, no waves- nothing. as balanced as a frozen pond. Anna pursed her lips. She wanted to focus her mind on one thing- after having it pulled apart on several hundred tasks at once. She wanted to center herself on one certain action, one though- Sleep.

Loki turned as the dagger flared in his mind again his reserves where slowly refilling but he was still weak one of the bacta patches had fallen off at the corner. He turned and looked at Dom, the Sith agent he had discovered fighting Kadish, he had somehow discovered the dagger, that artifact he had seen in the force when he had traveled in Anna's memories. He strode towards him hand on his belt and looked down at the agent. "Give me that dagger, or I'll take it." Loki said simply. "You have no idea what it is. Do not fight me. You are a smart and cunning ally, and welcome here but I will take it with force." Loki said simply his eye unwavering as he spoke in a commanding tone. His jaw was set and locked. That dagger was too dangerous for any of them to hold and use freely, however Loki felt confident he wouldn't succumb not right away. But he too had to careful.

Good, everyone was getting on the ships, and they were getting out of here. If he had to guess, they had less than a minute before the massive, elaborate building they were in collapsed in on itself. Dominic turned from the door that lead back into the Hanger of the lab, finding the Zabrak standing in his way. Shit... why didn't he go in the other ship? He demanded the Dagger, and in this state, without proper equipment, not to mention that he had no allies here except for the Zabrak, there was nothing he could do but talk.
"I know what I saw in you. That Darkness. I may not know exactly what this Dagger.." Dominic pulled the Dagger from behind him, holding it to the side. Neither giving it to the Zabrak or keeping it from him. "..is, but I know it seeks to corrupt, to destroy, and to use. I don't have any force abilities, and that along with my mental training is probably what's keeping it in line. I refuse to do what it tells me. If you think that you, already stained with the Dark Side, can fair better and keep from slicing into your friends throats, go ahead." Even now, as he held it, felt the urge to jam it into the Zabrak's stomach, but it was distant, down a dark hallway. "If you are the one that Anna told me about, anyway."
"You can call me..." He debated with himself for a while.. He always had names assigned to him, identities, passports... He couldn't tell this man his Agent designation... Oh what the hell. That name was dead anyway. The person who it once belonged to as well. "..Dominic."

The Crew was all on board now, plus a few extras, including the original target. There had been mention of things going 'boom', and very soon. Things going boom would not bode well for the light freighter, so Raxxie decided that now was the time to get the kriff out of there.
"You guys better hold onto something....I'm not doing this the nice way. Hang on!!"
Flicking a few switches, the rest of the control panels that had been on standby as everyone got on the ship came online. Suddenly, an alarm started to blare, and half of the electrical went black. Navigation, and propulsion went offline immediately, along with shielding.
"Oh COME ON!! Not NOW, you temperamental BITCH!!" The Zabrak woman began frantically flipping switches, nearly in a panic. They had less than a minute to get to minimum safe distance, and she needed at -least- thirty seconds to get clear of the blast zone. She growled in frustration, as nothing she did would bring the ship's controls back up. In frustration, she roared, and slammed her fist into the metal panel in front of her. To her surprise, everything came back on, and was lit up like a Life Day tree.
"YES!!! We are SO outta here!!!" Raxxie jammed the throttle forward, and pushed the stick hard left, bringing the Son into a 180 degree turn. She then maneuvered the ship first toward, and out of the entrance to the hangar. Yanking back on the controls, the Wayward Son made its way into the sky as the first rumbles of the explosives through the Lab Complex began to go off....
...They had pulled off the impossible. They had actually -done- it!! They were now clear of the explosion, and the black curve of space began to rise in the viewport. Punching a few buttons, she set the navicomputer to make the jump for Naboo. It would only take the computer a few seconds to make the computations, and they would be on their way.....
All had survived, as well...it would appear at least. A few of em looked a little worse for wear, though. Hopefully, a couple of the ones that were evacuated from the lab were as good at being Doctors as they were being slaveholders.....

It was strange being among so many she did not know. So far from the place she called home and from the woman who was the closest thing to a mother she had. Silence had fallen over the medical bay and, while she would have found it soothing, it was beginning to become unnaturally invasive. Though, with a flash glance towards the feminine droid that was Ariela she was able to quickly recover her composure as she stood silently next to the girl who she hardly knew, but felt a kinship to that could hardly be explained. Reaching out into the Force she could feel the pain and sorrow that enshrouded the girl all of which was focused on the man lying on the table before them. The man who she had met on Dantooine similar to how he was now. On the boundary of life and death. He did not consider himself a hero, but he was a hero none the less. She needn't see her father, but she knew the man was watching. Even as she began to circle the table and inspect Adieumus' form she could feel her fathers gaze until she slipped her hand into the she observed bore a saber burn.
Within moments she focused the Force into her palms, running her free hand over Adi's forehead while keeping the other loosely clasped in his hand. A soft glow enveloped her palms, her eyes closed and she focused on the injuries she knew to be present even without the indications from a natural means. Ariela's voice briefly whispered into her ear of the silver man and of the injuries but she spoke not a word. Yet, even as she recollected on those thoughts she could feel a disturbance in the Force. An easily distinguished hatred that even the white hot darkness of the object exchanging hands in the nearby hallway could not disguise. Her eyes fluttered open and her father was gone. Disappeared into the bowels of the ship no doubt to pull their craft behind her new home as she heard the captain of the vessel call out for their departure. A sadness swept over her, but even as she felt it she could do nothing but brace herself for the unconventional take off. Her mind focused on balance, healing and serene complacence. At least until the craft had broken orbit.
Pulling herself away from Adi, allowing him his space once more she took up a rather collected but distance posture opposite Eya. She could still see the concern in the girl's eyes but there was something else that she could not shake. Ariela's voice indicated that the Fury had followed them successfully but her eyes were trailing across the room towards each individual as if she were taking them all in. Confusion, curiosity and finally empathy circulating like a pulse as she took in each individual through their spark in the Force. When she finished she knew it was time for Adieumus to wake and, in spite of a brief moment contemplating using the Force to rouse him, she could feel it that moment was fast approaching. And so, without a word, she passed around the table towards Eya and stopped. There she would stay with ever watching eyes.

Loki's hand came away from his belt empty as he held out his reddish palm two digits where metallic his palm faced the ceiling. His voice came out louder this time."Give it to me, I will not ask again." Loki said his eye locked on the man his fingers even, the cybernetic ones twictched ever so slightly, Loki seemed on edge but Dom had idea what he held, he was dangerous Loki could see the dagger working, in his eyes. He knew things could get violent, Loki didn't know what would happen if he was stabbed but he figured it was nothing good. He momentarily worried for the others and decided what must be done must be done.

Just seconds before the light freighter would jump to hyperspeed, the ground, the land, seemed to rumble and shake for a number of moments, as something deep and guttural came from the earth, emitting from the center of where the Lab would be underground. A noticeable shock-wave shot through in a circle around the Lab, breaks and cracks every few yards becoming more and more visible as the seconds passed. Then all was still, if for one more moment.
The sound of rock scrapping on metal and plooms of smoke and dirt emanated from a growing hole in the ground, collapsing the Lab. Metal and still-burning-ship was shoved out of the hanger as torrents of air and rock slammed into it. In a matter of less than 30 seconds, the entire structure that they all had inhabited, including the Array, was buried.
Dominic struggled to open his palm, the Dagger trying to keep his hand around it. the Agent would keep staring into the Zabrak's eyes. "Go ahead and risk your friend's lives, and take it."

*The pilot had taken the ship high in the sky, circling widely above the facility below. Theirs was not the only ship in the air: What few evacuees there were as well as no doubt the insects that had infiltrated the place had escaped. Soku only had eyes for the ground below, watching, waiting, knowing that any second now—
And there it was, the rumbling explosion that rocked the ground, even creating a small bit of turbulence aboard the spacecraft despite their distance. Soku raised a gloved hand, shielding his eyes from the brilliance of the blast, then lowered it as he watched it fully crumble, swallowed up by the surface. The pilot had been shocked by the sudden explosion but nevertheless kept circling, until he received instruction otherwise.
Soku kept his eyes upon the smoldering wreckage as they revolved around it. At last, a particular angle came into view, one strikingly familiar. One he had just viewed on a holoscreen so little time ago.*
"They were right..." *Derel mused aloud, seemingly somewhat in awe.
Soku immediately scowled, turning away and striding towards the passenger's area.* "No. It was all a ploy. Manufactured by their mole." *He turned and practically threw himself into the passenger seat, buckling his crash webbing as he continued grumbling.* "What could they have gained from such an act? Pride? Mockery? Was it a trap for us? Well it certainly failed if that were the case.
"No matter." *He took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he focused on his center, then exhaled. When he spoke again, he once more sounded collected.* "I was right to be skeptic; this facility was never of worth to the First Order. We must set our sights on what truly matters. Pilot, we return to Muunilinst."
*The pilot acknowledged. Derel took his own seat, watching Soku both concernedly and skeptically. Soku did not acknowledge him, remaining in silence as the ship at last rose away from the surface of Etti IV, making way back to their base...*
