Argon was not expecting the slap again, and almost dropped the needle. His eyes widened and he peered down at her, perfectly bewildered.
Geeze. If this didn't kill me, He held up the needle. I'm not above thinking you'd slap me to death.
He turned to put the vile away, muttering something about giving girls complements and always getting slapped for it.
Besides- Sith types are disappointingly easy to predict, even without Anna's help. Their whole operation would literally die without me. He shrugged and looked at her with a thin, almost comforting smile. I'm not trying to brag. It's simple logic. Some future advice. If you want to survive anywhere, make yourself invaluable. I built most of these life support systems single handedly, to interface with the computer matrix. I am the only one who knows how to maintain them and I keep that information locked up very tightly.
He shook his head with a thin frown. I'm not sure, if I've ever, truly, risked my life for anyone- not really, not even now. He sighed and glanced at her briefly before busying himself with checking monitors, mainly as a distraction as he added, almost distantly. But I suppose I could. I hear it's an admirable trait... A Jedi taught me that once.
He finally looked at her again, curiously. What do you think? Your kidnappers told me you didn't struggle, one single bit, and here you are slapping me. And, what exactly were you going to do with that scalpel? He motioned to the blade still resting in her hand. You can't always change what's happening to you, but you can decide how those circumstances build you. Just make sure, this, is building you into the person you want to become. He smiled, the most genuine smile Thea had seen from the man sense arriving. Even if it's a doctor slapping surgeon. Now that everything's stable here, let me take you somewhere you can rest and finally eat something.
His face drifted back to it's normal flat line as he offered her his hand. It's difficult to work on an empty stomach.

Thea rolled her eyes and glared at him. He was making jokes, after everything that just happened? Thea felt like her brain would explode, and this was only the first day! She casually ignored him when he began speaking, until he looked at her. Become invaluable? She obviously had value, if she was here. Not much, considering they were gonna shoot her, but enough to be taken. He seemed to be rambling, she was getting sleepy and her stomach was, as she calculated in her head, completely empty. Suddenly the word Jedi, snapped her back into the here and now. Looking down at her hand, she was surprised that she had it in her hand. Her knuckles were white around it. Relaxing her hand, the muscles practically screamed with relief.
"I-I don't know!"
She carefully sat the scalpel down on the table and backed up from it. What was happening to her. She never got this angry or out of control before. Suddenly he mentioned food, and her stomach practically jumped. Taking his hand, she followed him. It was about time. She knew she would pass out in about an hour, if she didn't get any food. He must have known that too. She always had that problem, her entire life. If she didn't eat, she would get nauseous or faint. Him knowing that she needed to eat, meant that they had a file on her.

These men were fast, but two weren't. Only one got a fatal wound to the stomach, and the other got a shot to the leg. As Dominion ducked down, another man came out to help the one with the injured leg. With three simple motions, :Lifting the gun up, pulling the trigger, and ducking back down, the brave soul who tried to help his friend was caught in the throat by a blast of energy, and he collapsed. He didn't kill the injured man. If anything, that was incentive for more men to risk their lives. And that would be a bad risk to take.
He knew that he was taking a bad risk as well. There was 7 fully functional people left, spreading around both sides of him if they were smart. If they kept their distance, that would be bad for Dominion. All he needed was one sorry bastard to get too close. He could use him as a shield as he fought the rest, but he didn't expect that to happen.
He kept swiveling his head back and forth, keeping his ears open as much as he could. If one guy got behind him and fired, it would be over. Maybe.. That computer was right. But how could it? He couldn't think of that right now, he had to- a guard showed himself, stepping out a little too much and exposing his leg. Dominion brought up his rifle and too two shots. They collided with him as he stepped into view, but he also shot. Dominion threw himself against the crates to try to dodge it, but it hit his left shoulder. It burned like a bitch!
These men weren't going to wait before shooting. And that was Dominion's problem. He hated to admit it.. but that computer predicted the future. If it was right this far, then the next few steps would be best to follow. Pushing to his feet, the intruder surged for the main doors leading into the compound. He blindly sprayed bolts behind him as he ran, hoping that it would keep his enemies under cover.

Dr. Noble flinched just slightly at Thea's response. He hadn't meant to upset her. If he had his rathers, she wouldn't even be here. A payed assistant, like the others here, would have been enough, but apparently no one wanted to place a qualified surgeon on staff, or everyone in the 'higher up' were just jerks, and given their darkside nature, Argon was pretty sure both applied here. He glanced around, as if looking for the viral security cameras which were almost everywhere, and then looked down at Thea.
Regardless to how you came here, I hope you know I'll keep you safe.
he said, hoping to sound reassuring. I'm a doctor. It's what I do. Trust me Thea... I would never hurt you.
He couldn't outright tell her what was truly going on, not with an all knowing super computer technically against him. Shaking his head, he came to a door, and punched in a code to open its strong metal surface. Inside was a bed, one table, and a very small wash room. Obviously the room wasn't meant for the most comfortable stay, and it clearly was a prison cell, but it wasn't like one Thea might think of. Still- she was still a prisoner. Sighing slightly, Argon shrugged.
I guess, what I'm trying to say is, Don't believe everything you see Thea. He closed his eyes, his mastery of words suddenly abandoning him. I knew you were coming, before they even grabbed you. I never wanted a prisoner for an assistant, but I did try to at least make your stay here a little nicer than, other's.
Clearing his throat, he stiffened as two guards walked by. His voice fell back to it's common, chill tone.
Someone will be by with food momentarily. I suggest you rest.
The energy blasts did cause the men not to follow him, and one of the cascading bolts managed to hit the guard who had scored his lucky shot- now on the ground- in head, killing him instantly.
Just as Dominic passed into the facility, the hangar blast doors slammed shut, and the resounding noise of blaster fire from the other side stopped as they tried to figure out how to open it again. If the intruder were to glance for any sign of security cameras, he would find them almost everywhere- but, they moved so fluidly. Normally this would be a problem for anyone trying to 'blend in' but oddly enough, the cameras seemed to do the opposite of tracking him, rather, as he almost got into sight of one, it would swivel away from him, as if the Array were ignoring him- the computer version of a cold shoulder, he might wager to think. Regardless, he had time, time to catch his breath, to become unrecognizable, and to, well do what ever he was going to do.
Because almost everyone around him now wore identical lab uniforms- just like him.

Dominion had made it into the facility.. but there wasn't much time. He had to get to destroying this place before the remnants of that squad sounded the alarms. He grabbed the levitating cart by a manual guidance handle and began dragging it behind him. There was a reason why he had chosen the peculiar route inside the facility of delivery man, and that was the fact that explosives were heavy and there was a need of a large quantity of them. So he shipped them there, himself. He had thrown out all the medical supplies and instead filled the cart with high-explosives, meant for taking down facilities like this one.
He didn't get far with his hurt shoulder and cart before he ran into the more lively part of the compound, people in lab coats bustling about, doing their jobs. Dominion hid his rifle under his long coat with his hurt left shoulder and slowly pulled the cart of explosives behind him, acting like it was just a shipment. As he scanned about, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. The longer he looked, however, he realized that no camera pointed at him. He was never in their line of sight, they just kept.. swiveling around his form. Was it that computer that talked to him? It seemed to be working with him a little bit. But, why?

Thea heard him say about keeping her safe. She wanted to smile, but after everything that had happened, she was wondering if she would ever smile again. Sighing mentally, she continued to follow him, listening to him, trying to reassure her that she was safe. She knew that she was never gonna be safe. Suddenly it dawned on her, she would never be truly safe, unless she learned to defend herself. She would need to learn that, if she ever got out of here.
When they arrived at a door, she looked inside, once it opened. It wasn't very big, but big enough. The sight of the bed, almost brought tears to her eyes. She wasn't able to be in a bed since the kidnapping, and right now, this bed looked so inviting. Suddenly the bathroom came into her view and she practically sagged in relief. She hadn't had a shower in days. She didn't smell, but she felt gross. When he began speaking to her again, something inside her broke. She surprised herself and most likely him, as she threw her arms around him in a hug. Tears were flowing down her face as everything came to the surface.
Hearing him clear his throat, she took a step back and entered her room. She knew it was a cell, but she couldn't help but feel grateful for the bed and shower. Hearing about the food coming, made her almost want to burst into tears again. She sat down on the bed and watched the door slide closed.

Argon blinked rapidly as Thea suddenly hugged him, crying. He wished he could stand there and let her cry it out on his shoulder. It felt- strange, in a good way, to be a comfort to someone genuinely. Most of his actions before, had been bent on vengeance, up until recently when he had tried to actually do some good in the galaxy- but it had always been behind a curtain of shadow. It was rare that anyone actually looked at him as the good guy. Such was the life of one constantly under cover.
So, at least for the moment, Argon held tightly to Thea, trying to show her some sort of security before he had to let go, and act cool and level headed again. Though, he did give her a reassuring smile as he closed the door.
About 10 minutes later, a guard opened a slot in the front of the door, passing a tray with some fresh hot Nerf meat and steamed vegetables, along with a cup and pitcher of water. Everything was high density plastic though, for some random fear she might either use glass or metal as a weapon at some point. Clearly they didn't know her very well.
As Dominic meandered throughout the halls, taking notice of the camera's aversion to him, a one of the few passing guards stopped and glanced at him. He tilted his head.
Hey- I don't recognize you. Are you suppose to be on this floor? What's on the cart?--- He'd moved as if he were to go for his blaster, but hesitated, putting a hand to his ear and shifting his eyes to remain on Dominic.
What was that?
The guard blinked and sighed. With a shrug, he pulled a datapad from his pocket and handed it out to Dominic.
Uh, sorry. I heard tell of suspicious activity somewhere near the hangar, but the system says you're clear. I'm suppose to give you this, Dr.... He tilted his head to get a look at the name printed on Dom's stolen lab cote. Dr. Mitchel. Sorry again.
He relaxed his shoulders and started to walk off.
Upon the Datapad was a simple question, and at least right now- nothing else.
What are you looking for?

As soon as a guard approached him, Dominion entered his normal routine of when he was undercover. He adopted the composure of someone who was supposed to be there. But when the guard started to reach for his gun, the Agent fingered the trigger on his own weapon, hidden deftly beneath his coat. But he stopped, and went to his coms. Dominion kept his hand inside his coat, nonchalantly waiting for the guard to make his next move. When he handed a datapad to Dominion, he blinked with the guard. he took it and nodded to the man as he walked off, never saying a word to him.
He looked down at the datapad, tilting his head at the question. This system truly was on his side. But, why? He figured.. maybe he should answer it's question. Sure, a detail was sent after him, but it just got him out of more potential trouble. He turned away from the majority of the populace in his vicinity and reached up to scratch his ear, covering his mouth from any one looking, and spoke into the datapad, "Hidden places to plant these firecrackers. But if you knew my name, how do you not know that?"

Thea grabbed for the food like it was life itself. She was starving and couldn't remember the last time she ate. Scarfing down the food, as fast as humanly possible, she then went into the bathroom to get a shower. She felt gross but the food was her top priority. Feeling the water run down her body was like heaven. She had a little tiny bottle of shampoo and soap. On the sink was a toothbrush and a small container of toothpaste. They even had a comb and a hair tie. Getting out of the shower, she grabbed the towel and wrapped it around herself.
Walking into the bedroom, she wondered if she could get away with washing her clothes in the shower, or if they would still be wet, by the time they needed her. She sighed, knowing that she was gonna just have to wear dirty clothing again. Laying back on the bed, she sank into it. Feeling all the memories, from before she was taken, come back to her. Tears streamed down her face. Her family came into her mind. They were all dead, but she still missed them terribly. They were the reason she became a doctor in the first place. Now she was stuck here, a prisoner.
She got up and figured she would wash her clothes anyway. Being in wet clothes were better than being in dirty ones. She threw them on the shower floor and poured the rest of the soap on them. She reminded herself that she would have to grab some soap in the lab before she came back here. Washing all the dirt out of her white shirt and jeans, she couldn't help but smile. It was like washing away everything that happened. She knew that she couldn't actually do that, but for now, she could pretend. Hanging her clothes over the shower curtain, she walked back into her room and fell asleep on the bed.

Text scrolled to onto the datapad, rapidly responding to Dom's question.
Names are simple. Motivations are more complicated. The number of explosives you possess, placed at 15 yard intervals are enough to level the underground portion of this facility...
A map appeared on the screen, with several red circles dotting certain locations in the facility. Dominic's location was indicated by a green arrow- or, at least the location of the datapad he now held. More text scrolled along the bottom of the map.
Are you trying to destroy me?... ... Why?
A sleek black shuttle dropped from the sky, tracked, but not bothered by the laser cannons dotting the ground. The pilot frowned at the distressing message streaming into his com. Rather than approaching the hangar, like normal, he sighed and landed the ship in a clearing near where the hangar would be. Pulling at the collar of his uniform, he stood up, after powering down the engines, and slowly approached the two passengers behind him.
Apologies...
He began sheepishly.
Apparently, something is wrong with the hangar doors. We must take the rear ramp into the facility.... is..that a problem?
He rubbed the back of his neck as he turned to lower the landing ramp.
The two passengers' comlinks flashed simultaneously, and the messages on them were in text form.
Welcome, Soku Ren- Derel Ren. I've been expecting you.
The force concentration here was very high, almost invasive to anyone acutely sensitive to its nature.

*A secret project, one that could, if successful, truly aid the First Order in the coming war. Truth be told... Soku was not optimistic. The Force was a limitless, incomprehensible entity; he did not have faith that some machine could truly tap into one's Force sight. Still, it bore investigation, which was what had led the Knight of Ren pair to Etti IV, and this hidden facility upon the world.
However, as though irony itself dictated the events of real life, an unforeseen hitch had forced the pilot to land outside of the facility. Even as they had approached, Soku could sense that something was... off. The Knight scowled in concern, his purple-skinned Rodian companion grumbling under his breath.
Before Soku could answer, they received a message from the facility, saying that they were expected. Unlikely, seeing as this visit was unannounced, but formalities and the like, or perhaps the facility steward simply wanted to sound important. Their true importance depended upon the success of this project; coupled with Soku's doubts, he expected it was not of too much importance, considering this world's relatively remote location compared to the rest of the galaxy.*
"No trouble at all," *Soku answered the pilot absently, turning to nod toward Derel. His fellow Knight nodded and they both turned to exit, Soku leaving behind a last piece of advice.* "Be on the alert."
*The cloaked and hooded beings exited the ship, gliding swiftly toward the designated entrance of the facility, their eyes and their senses reaching out for threat, their hands close to their weapons. If there had been a breach, then this experiment was already over, and it spoke volumes of how little faith those who funded it had on the project...*

This computer... There wasn't a way it was a completely open system, would it? Maybe it was still being built, and for now it was an open system. Although it seemed on his side by getting him out of trouble and giving him locations for bombs to be planted, he doubted that if he answered 'yes' it would appreciate that. If it was the least bit sentient, it would have some sort of self-preservation. He continued to talk into the datapad, "I was tasked with destroying this facility because of a super computer being built, which I only assume to be you. My Masters don't like that the First Order is gaining such a tool, and want it gone. So, in an indirect way," He sighed. "Yes, I am to destroy you."
He gripped his gun harder, looking around for anyone that would be alerted of his presence and go to take him down. Anyone drew their gun on him, he would shoot them first.

The pilot looked relieved that his two passengers weren't going to injure him. But then the leader turned to him and told him to be on alert. If these two felt the danger was real- it certainly was. He nodded as they glided away.
A small camera swiveled slowly, following the two figures as they approached the lab's hidden area. To their right, a small patch of grass slid away, revealing a set of steps leading down into somewhere. No one came to meet them, exactly, but the camera did turn to point down the stairway, shining a small light into the gloom, as if inviting them to inter.
The map continued to display itself on Dom's datapad, his little green triangle nearing its first red circle. A door rested between him, and the objective, though, now that he had a scientist's lab cote- he also had the key card needed to access the room. A message scrolled under the map.
One could question the intelligence of telling the super computer, you're going to kill- that you're going to kill it. Why did you do that?
A searching question perhaps, as if the computer itself were trying to understand the complex workings of a human mind- at least, this particular human's mind.

*Just as Soku began to wonder where exactly this entrance was, it revealed itself, the ground splitting open and revealing a staircase, the faint scattering of loose soil reaching his ears. As the light from the camera illuminated the darkness, Soku scoffed to himself, shaking his head as he made his approach.* "Certainly. Reveal the entrance for all to see, when its mere appearance was enough to draw our attention. Hurry." *He and his Rodian companion descended the steps swiftly, all the while Soku more and more believed he needed to have a talk with the steward of this facility...*

"Well, You've helped me so far. Apart from that initial squad of men." Saying those words reminded him of the blast he took to his shoulder. Still stung... Opening the floating crate, he picked up a small, nondescript grey box, and walked back to the door, using his card on the little black box next to the door. There was a ca-chink! sound as the door was unlocked. It opened by itself and he walked inside. It was a locker room, multiple lockers were stored next to eachother along the walls, and the closest one was his. Or, rather, Dr. Mitchel's. He opened it up with his keycard once more, and planted the box inside and squeezing the sides lightly. It beeped and Dominion left it alone at that, shutting the locker door. He looked down at the datapad. Next one.
"So, I thought that maybe you were on my side, for whatever reason." He continued once outside. "You haven't sicked anyone on me yet, so I assume you're either just curious or you actually want my help with something."

At the bottom of the flight of steps, the two knights would find a solid metal door, locked and bolted from the inside. The terrain above them shifted, closing back up, and for a brief second, cast the two in total darkness. Seconds later, electronic lights flickered on lining the steps and door frame and a small panel to the right of the door slid out, revealing itself. A computerized female voice spoke, originating from the computer panel.
Soku Ren, Daral Ren- your arrival has not been announced to my creators. Your presence is still unknown to them. I will allow them to explain my design and function to you. Please- inter.
A series of numbers appeared on the control pad of their own accord, and the door began unlocking its many securities, finally sliding back into the wall. As soon as they would inter, the door would slide shut again, locking once more.
The hall started out slightly dark, but soon opened up into a skinny room, filled with boxes and crates. The door on the opposite side of the room, would most likely lead to the greater potion of the lab.
The cameras continued avoiding Dominic as he meandered on his present course. The map remained in place while text scrolled across the bottom again.
Do you find it logical that I would need your help with my eminent destruction?
There was a short pause as if the computer was allowing Dominic to think before more text filled the bottom of the screen.
You are a very trusting person- given your past experiences. You are quote odd.
The next red circle resided at the far end of a crowded computer center- sectioned off from one of the hallways. Several people who clearly weren't scientists- but computer workers, darted from one screen to the next, either keying in, or tracking data which scrolled relentlessly across the 20 or more screens.
More text scrolled across Dom's datapad- in an almost ominous fashion.
They could never keep up with me, not from the very beginning. Why do they keep trying?

"No, not really trusting. Just accepting of any help I can get. And maybe you do, if you want to die. Maybe something in your code won't let you shut yourself down." He spoke as he trailed the cart behind him, nobody really minding or paying him much heed. He looked inside the room at the workers who tried their best to keep up with, whatever they were doing. He looked at the pad, then back up. "Maybe they don't want to be outdone? Pride is a powerful thing. Where in that room could I plant one of these? I'll have to be nonchalant about it" He inquired as he moved to his cart and picked up another box.
They all had timers on them, maximum of 3 hours. Of course they could be triggered before hand using a detonator that was also in the cart. In case he was subdued or discovered, any bombs he planted would still be able to go off.

*And just like that, the light had vanished, but only momentarily; the steps and the panels around the door at the bottom illuminated. A panel revealed itself, with a feminine voice explaining that the Knights' presence was still unknown to its "creators," and that it would allow them to explain its design and function. It then bid them to enter, and the human and Rodian companions exchanged a brief sideways look.
They then began to enter, the initial footfall interrupted by the chime of a datapad. Soku's. He produced the device and examined it, revealing the layout of the laboratory, as well as their current location. The facility appeared to have two underground levels, with one below them. That was where the mainframe was, and, he assumed, their little test subject. On the current floor was the head office, and not far away, either.* "We should stop by there, first," *he instructed, indicating the location to Derel. The Rodian nodded.
Soku put the datapad away and once more stepped forward, this time uninterrupted, into the labyrinthine laboratory. Various rooms they passed by contained several computer terminals, as well as techs working to and fro between them. Soku did not doubt it was not easy work, but again, he was skeptic of the entire process. Their presence was, of course, met with surprise, but Soku paid them no mind and passed them all by, leading his companion onward to the head office.*

Anyone the two knights came across, subconsciously stepped aside, giving the two a wide isle. The several security cameras swiveled slowly, tracking the two newcomers.
From one of the hall ways, another cloaked figure emerged. He paused, looking at the two for a moment before speaking.
Welcome brothers. I was wondering when you would honor us with a visit.
He nodded in respectful greeting and motioned about him.[/font]
What do you think so far?
In the cabinet to your left, four up, six across. No one will notice, or care.
The text was quick to respond to Dom's question before scrolling again, as if speaking its 'mind' after the fact.
Why would I want to die?- is that... normal?

"Thank you." He said as he used his keycard to enter the room, and walked like he was supposed to be there over to the cabinet the computer had directed him too. He passed by several of the workers, who were too busy to recognize the hidden rifle. Maybe he should put that back into handgun mode.. After he secured the box inside and armed it, he returned to the cart and kept going. "No, it isn't normal. I've just heard of stories of artificial life forms sometimes not wanting their existence. Tell me, do you like it here? Serving them?"
Over the next few minutes, Dominion would go from room to room, planting around 15 bombs in several, several locations. Some bathrooms, some personal quarters, one in a lab, ect.
