Coronet City
Jade, Al'lara, and Sto'Vo'Kor didn't sit around after their initial meeting. Instead they headed into Coronet City and went first to the spaceport. Al'lara split up from them for a few minutes to wander and gather information. Jade and Kor headed straight to security. At first it appeared difficult to get past the usual bureaucratic red tape in good time, but Jade's standing with the Jedi High Council as well as the Corellian Academy came in handy to smooth their path.
When they were finally given access to the holo-cam footage and records of the past few days, Jade scrolled through them quickly, then paused as a link came up. She flipped over to the incoming registration records and pointed to a seemingly normal notation.
"Kor, here. Civilian transport, no crew---" she broke off musingly, glancing over the speeder bike record. That would not go far. "As far as I can tell nothing has been done to alert the Ubese dealer to our interest, and I would guess Dru has gone to ground somewhere near Coronet itself."
She twisted to look up at the Coynite Guardian to ascertain if he was reading things the same way she was. A ghostly prickle itched at the back of her neck. The door behind them slid open and Al'lara re-entered the room. But, why Coronet City? Unlike Corulag, Corellia was firmly allegiant to the Republic, not to mention a world with a strong Jedi presence. Dru choosing this planet, at this time, in this city was not adding up in a way that the petite woman liked.

"My thoughts exactly."
Eralam ran back inside for a second to grab their bug out bags.
"Corellia is usually a safe haven for folks on the down low, but something is off. The quicker we get away, the better."

She left the glass on the arm of the chair, and pulled her poncho out of the bag. She grabbed her weapons and clipped them on her belt. She threw the poncho on over them, adjusting it to cover the belts. She slung her bag over her shoulder, reached over to grab a handful of his shirt to pull him down to her level. She kissed him hard for a minute, her lips tasting of the potent whiskey she had been drinking. Her eyes were fierce, looking up at him with a determined expression.
"Next time, I pick the vacation."
She released his shirt, the helmet shoved down over her face, she turned away from him and headed for the speeder bike. Her bag was shoved into the storage compartment, but everything important was on her person in case she needed to dump the bike to get away. She looked over at him, the HUD fully booted up now and her vocoder on. The gravely voice of Dru came out of the speakers.
I don't have a way off here unless I get a ticket on a passenger ship. Mind if I catch a ride with you?

Eralam nodded.
"Sure, just so long as you don't mind giving me a ride to my ship. It's not far from here, but..."
He shrugged and pointed to the speeder bike.
"Your ride is faster."
It took a few minutes to secure the bags, but it wasn't long before they were on their way. Eralam had sent directions to Sin's HUD, mainly because she refused to let him drive her bike. There was only one bit of business left to take care of. As soon as they cleared the danger zone, the E-Web's power generator blew, eliminating all traces of their stay. Eralam was loathe to destroy such a peaceful place, but that wasn't enough to stop him from covering their tracks.
As soon as they reached the camouflaged ship, the former Shard hopped off the back of the speeder, punched in the security code, and headed up the ramp while Sin stowed the speeder bike in the cargo hold. Preflight checks were knocked out in short order, and in less than ten minutes, they were under way and in space.

The ship clear of the planet's surface, she let her presence blooms like a dark, twisted flower. She nodded at the niggling sensation she was getting but as they prepared for the jump to hyperspace, she could feel it receding.
"Looks like we managed to avoid it. I don't know what it would have been but it wasn't pleasant. No more Republic/Jedi worlds. Deal?"
She settled into the copilot's chair as he manned the controls, her boots propped on the console.

"Deal."
It was a disappointing end to an otherwise lovely vacation, but Eralam wasn't about to let that get him down. They had managed to escape whatever cloud of nasty had been hanging off in the future, and that was fine with him. It was already way too hard to arrange time off without the memories of an ambush hanging over any future trips.
"So. Where am I taking you?"

"Someplace we don't have to worry about stuff like that. Your place, my place. Pick a world in the Empire. Pick one that's independent. It really won't matter as long as it's not one where I can be deposed or detained just for visiting."
She pulled a starchart up on the console to her side, scrolling through systems as she remarked back to him.
"I still have time off. I'm not expected back for a few more days. I was with you for 2. That's not going to cut it."
She paused musing over the larger chart. Garqi was pretty quiet but it held memories of another man. So it was out, so was Jabiim. She spun the dial and brought up a new sector.
