Very brief, nutshell of the site as a whole...
You haven't missed much.
Cold war is, um, cold. Republics doing their shit, empire theirs. There are a couple riots and shit going down in the deep core, and mid rim... possibly elsewhere.
the Oder of The Eye is secretly rebuilding - with Bacca's return, to crush the Empire. Darth Beliel is secretly forming a Sith sect to undermine the Empire.
other than that, not much. we all thought more people would be RPing, with summer, lack of school and such. But it seems like there's still a skeleton crew RPing on the site. desperately trying to keep the momentum going, but in all honesty things have gone stale again, but that;s my take.

ummm, where should I jump in. I've been busy and out of the loop since the merger. Used to be a mid-rank Admiral, nothing fancy. Had a small task-force of frigates and fighters plus a few commando grade troops. That's probably all been reassigned since the merge, so um... yeah. Where should I start and what jobs are available for a strategist?

I know Nic might want you for deep core operations, but Empire Space doesn't have a lot of defenders. I'd have you reconnoiter the resurgent N.O.E and any other Sith threats.

Thing is, both Nysste and me are waiting for someone to answer from the empire. Not the other way around. Sauthril is gone and has been for a long time. Nothing to wait on, but the empire.
I have been patient, Mate. Since before May the 27th. Thats soon a month now.

I am making a Bastion out of Bastion. If anyone wishes to join along, they are more than welcome to do so in any manner they desire. The timeline of these events, sadly, is taking place after the Compliance actions in the Deep Core, so even if you're involved in one theatre you're able to join along in this one.
That said, the posting will be slow going and possibly be silent for a few days in regards to my busy life, but it will be consistent in some regard.
When the sector is settled and everything is defended, Bastion will be a place where soldiers of any type are welcome to start their careers within the embrace of the Imperial military.

Alrighty. If you're up for it, you'll be heading straight into the nest at Nubia and Pzob. I'd prefer if you'd pretend to be there on your accounts (not as an Imp spy.) For any details PM, and if you need tools, we'll. . . . requisition all you need for that. I'm a little tried of the Empire's current phase of reconstruction. There are A LOT of places that need peace and all sorts of pacification. Also, I'd like to spit in some people's soup, add too much salt to others, and commission an artist to create the perfect soup for other patrons. Soup is stuff of life folks, and as such, here are some missions that might be interesting to take up. 1. Attempt to seduce Crom'nen over to the "right" side. 2. Failing that, successfully implanting an agent within the senate. 3. Declaring the borders of our "Ghetto Empire" as someone so lovably put it in another thread. 4. Detecting and analysing the threat the resurgent N.O.E poses, if any. Takers? Haters? Lovers? |

Yes, Nubia. They've operated there in the past (I would know, I was once there myself when working with them). Of course, if it turns up nothing, then no problem.
