**Ferinus arched an eyebrow, then quickly smiled at the impressive display of Phantom's gadget of destruction. It rendered those infuriating dart-spitters useless, for certain. From here, it should be smooth sailing....at least until the other chamber at the end of this hall, of course.
Ferinus turned to his brother.**
"Someone's been building up a stockpile of lovely toys. You've been busy, haven't you, dear brother?"
**The alchemist chuckled as he shouldered Ty and walked past the useless piles of rubble. Ty was light enough to carry. He hoped he would have a chance to set her down before she woke up. Otherwise.....she would never let him hear the end of it.
In a surprising moment of calm, with only the sounds of their boots echoing throughout the large hallway, Ferinus spoke casually.**
"You know, in all of this excitement, I don't believe I've gotten the chance to ask you my burning questions, Phantom."
**He adjusted Ty on his shoulder.**
"What happened to you after the the New KSA? I know where I went....but I have no idea what's happened to the others, if our little circle even has a place in this universe anymore. What did you do these past few years?"

*He nodded and chuckled as he stood up and followed. Seeing his brother with the bloody leg and carrying his sister. They went past all the destroyed pillars, his right eye making scans of them as any security they destroyed should be repaired once they took the place back.
The footsteps of their boots echoing around them was monotonous until his brother piped up and asked him*
"I don't know if you remember Chel, she ran a big business and had access to wealth. Well we were planning on...
*He squirmed, the big sith, the one half of their pair that eradicated planets, the male who showed unwavering discipline against anything and slaughtered without hesitation...squirmed*
Marriage...
*He expected some sort of reaction from his brother at this point, and dropping ty would have been an acceptable response considering his brother may just hit him on principle*
But things became complicated as they do, though it was not as bad as my first fiancee', because when I caught her in bed with that excuse for a Ji'Dai I killed him and lynched her with her on entrails.
She wasn't like that though, but you know me, staying about in one place makes me ancy so I left her and the planet and ended up hopping planet to planet studying and keeping up with new uses for material, weapons and then raided a small lab and upgraded my own self. There really isn't much else though

**Ferinus snorted and nearly dropped Ty. He did not however. If she woke up any worse for wear than when she went to sleep, she would surely have his head. Not that Ferinus would let her have it, by any stretch of the imagination.
But MARRIAGE?! PHANTOM?!
Ferinus couldn't stop the mental picture of him at a wedding. He doubted there would be any tuxedo in the galaxy that could be tailored to that frame of his. Who would he pick for his Best Sith? What kind of cake would be served? Most importantly, would it be Open Bar?
Those thoughts made Ferinus bust out laughing. He could no longer help himself.**
"I do remember Chel. Sweet woman. Very devoted to you. Also very appealing to the eyes, if I do say so myself. But....but....MARRIAGE, PHANTOM???"
**Ferinus snorted again. He was nearly beside himself. Must not drop Ty. Must not drop Ty. Must not drop Ty.**
"I never pegged her as so powerful and formidable to run with the untameable force that is yourself, Phantom. Clearly, there are many aspects to her that I am ignorant of."
**Ferinus adjusted Ty over his shoulder. When she woke up, he believed he would leave this part of the journey out of the story. She didn't need to know he carried her.**
"It seems many of us were drifters in recent years. At least, those of us who didn't possess enough resources and allies to rise to power. But power is fleeting. It jumps into the lap of one person to the next. It is fickle and inconsistent and can literally kill you....and I believe that's why we love it so much."
**At long last, the two of them appeared before a large circular metal door at the end of the hall. It was time to move on to the next chamber. Ferinus turned to his brother.**
"Once we're free from this forsaken temple, you should look her up again. Perhaps we can make a groom out of you yet. Now please, blast open this door?"
**Ferinus aimed an innocent smile at his brother whilst still chuckling.**

*The hall would be quiet again after the dust settles from Phantom's explosions. The only sound would likely be themselves and their voices, until back up the hallway where they came it sounded like a quick breeze goes across the hallway, if one was to look back at that exact moment a shadow is all the would be seen flashing across the hall behind them and the blip of what seemed to be a force aura appeared for the briefest of moments and then disappeared again. Then the silence returned.
*Ver'metus had watched them cross the long hallway. He waited in the shadows til they had passed. Then he let a glimpse of his aura out as he force speed across the hall. Then he cloaked his aura again. His body even if they had looked would have been blurred to see as shadow whisped over his form as he twisted them to suit his purprose. He had Then jumped with the force again long enough for his momentum to carry him. He was cloaked and had hung from the high ceiling by his mechanical left arm it would not tire or grip and he could wait in the dark shadows above as long as he wished watching quietly. He waited for them to think that they were just seeing things, not that he fully expected the beings to believe that nothing was there. Then suddenly his voice came, but he threw his voice from himself changing his pitch and sound to cloak himself from recognition, it would echo off the walls of the empty hall in an evil whisper but was louder.*
The Lair of the Three will not be disturbed.

*He chuckled at his brothers reactions, his emotions lighting up all over the place and it was fun to see him process it. He chuckles and ran a hand through the shoulder length white hair and brushed it back.
They crossed the large hall and through a corridor and kept talking, lightheartedly and openly*
"She was different, I know almost all stories about a female start that way but she was not interested in power the way we are. She is a tycoon and had access I don't think even she knew she had. I do know that power is unattainable and the chase for it leads always to death. With her it seemed all the power was worth nothing because with one motion one action it all would be gone."
*cupping his chin he thought deeply*
"It is what forged Lord Vader though so, it is not all bad...I don't think"
*They approached a massive door and he turned, cocking an eyebrow*
"You need a place with less doors brother, clearly that or a keyring the size of a well formed pile of bantha poodoo. Goodness, you owe me materials for more and then some just because"
*As he began to rummage for materials, a voice echoed along the room and reverberated around the room. Growling he stood up and slid his hand back unclasping the massive sabercane, the pneumatic clasps relinquishing their grip for one suited for death itself. His right eye changed color segmenting into a deep green and also a deep red, one being infrared, the other was thermal and began to scan the room.
Seeing nothing his eye clicked to a milky white and he slammed the butt of the cane on the floor, he knew the layout of the area as he had scanned it while they walked but this method would reveal any abnormal masses. It was similar to the sonar of those leather winged beings he had his droids use for target training.
Slamming his cane on the ground again, the wave of sound bounced off pillars, walls, and the high banisters but there was an eerie center that was reflecting earlier than the rest of the wave. He turned to his brother as he held the staff in both hands and flicked the middle emitter, it would extend the blade to a mid reach, its full length would be detrimental indoors. The deep red of the blade Illuminating the gaunt lines in Phantom's jaw and the mirth was gone. In their absence there were only eyes that the dead planets had seen*
"After we kill whatever the hell this is brother, I am going to start a tab and soon you will owe me a planet for all of this"
*Turning back to the opening of the hallway*
"We will do as we damn well please, now come down so that we may kill you and move on"

**Ferinus laughed again, inclining his head toward the motionless Ty slung over his shoulder.**
"Indeed. Women are very different. In every instance I believe I have amassed enough knowledge or power to stand alone, there always seems to be a woman who can throw even me for a loop."
**Ferinus felt more than comfortable admitting that about Ty while he was unconscious and would never hear it in a million years.
Then the voice emanated throughout the hall. Ferinus' onyx eyes snapped to attention. He spun where he stood, using his only free hand to unclasp one of his lightsabers from his belt, holding it at the ready, but not activating it. Perhaps it was another failsafe in the temple, but this one felt......familiar.
The voice was unrecognizable, but there was no doubting the feel of the presence he sensed in the room. To Ferinus, it was like an old glove he could put on and rely on always. It was like an old book you took out of the shelf that you hadn't read in years, yet you cracked it open again.
And then it spoke those words, words Ferinus recognized from long ago. It was another code. Ferinus cracked a tight, crooked smile as the response came to his mind.**
"The Lair of the Three is protected. There is no fear."

Many have tried, many have failed.
*Ver'metus wanted to cover the distance quicklly so he let go with his hand, and used his real one to force push off the ceiling to propel himself downward. The large Sith Anzat quickly reached the ground falling into a crouch to absorb impact, as he fell he reached for his large Sith Sword. Keeping to the dark was easiest when not giving yourself away with a weapon giving off light. The Anzat stood crouched, sword held across in front of him in his left hand, his probosicis curled about from his cheekbones. Blackness was all that could be seen of his eyes, dark hair that fell to his shoulders. His bulking frame poised and ready to move. His arms and shoulders adorned with tattoos that looked like tribal lightning, and one that Ferinus would recognize on his forearm and his arsenal's variety was easy to pick out.*
There is no fear. Though it shall fill my enemies.

*He was focused on the figure, still obscured with the shadows though as the voice would near it would also show relative distance and he was closing. The face, style all of it felt and looked very familiar and yet he could not place it.
Gripping his sabercane he reached into the force and began to pick items within his overcloak just in case. This was no time to be cautious, they needed to eliminate and move on and this person was preventing the owner of the place to come back home and was therefore hostile.*
"Brother, between us we have left trenches in planets that orbital ships can make out but we cannot do that here considering the self preservation aspect of being in this box. Any ideas how to quickly dispatch this and move on?"

**Ferinus tensed as the figure dropped in front of them. He believed he had an idea what was going on, but he couldn't be completely sure at the moment. The markings on this man's arms and body were extremely familiar.....particularly the one on his forearm.
Ferinus knew that scar. He knew where it came from.
In the name of Bane....could it really be?
The man repeated the next phase of the mantra, a mantra known only to the founders of this academy. Ferinus, however, was growing impatient. His leg was still bleeding, he had an unconscious woman slung over his shoulder and he wasn't sure if he was about to engage in combat or not.
Another approach was required. He turned to Phantom.**
"Indeed we have, but this place is surrounded by the limitless ocean. Here....subtlety and subterfuge will rule the day. However, I do not believe we need to dispatch this one at all."
**Ferinus took a cautious few steps forward.**
"In fact, I would surmise we have just attained a new asset."
**Ferinus faced the man he believed he knew, the man he believed he had fought beside, smiled and nodded, changing to a different mantra he believed the man would know.**
"Solve et coagula, my brother in the shroud. The secrets are many, the answers are few, but may your eyes always see beyond both."
**Lord Ferinus hoped the mantra of the Circle of Alchemists would relax an old friend enough to reveal himself.**

*Ver'metus stopped almost like he'd hit a brick wall. Twice the bleeding man with a woman on his shoulder had spoken words that surprised him. He wasn't a trusting person, probably why he was still alive even now. But he stands up out of his stance taking a few wary paces forwards, his eyes more focused on the second man as he does, his weapon held defensively before him still tensed.*
Setting off all of the Citadel's defences...seems an interesting way to come home... Would it not be simpler to deactivate them, bearing as you know those words?
*The man's eyebrow rose as he casts a glance back at Ferinus waiting for his answer. Still wondering the other man's purpose. Ferinus wounded, and carrying someone. It looked kinda suspicious.*

**Ferinus broke into a large smile, chuckling ruefully at his old apprentice's words.**
"Well, when you go the Void and back a few times since leaving.....certain memories tend to drop away upon the homecoming. At least we know they're still in tip-top shape. We should be proud of ourselves!"
**Ferinus carefully laid Ty down on her back. Standing back up, he stretched his own. He strode over to the man and held out his hand.**
"You are quite the sight for sore eyes.....Ver'metus."
**Ferinus followed the Anzat's gaze over to Phantom and smiled once more.**
"And surely you remember Phantom, yes? I can see how he has become harder to distinguish, what with the mechanical parts of him and the fat that comes with age."
**The Sith Lord laughed again, looking behind him toward Ty.**
"And that one on the ground.....well.....you won't need to worry about her until she wakes up."

*He stood up from the couched position and deactivated the cane. Spinning it deftly in hand he slid it along his back, the clamps along the back holding it into place and the flared end framed the back of his head like a dark halo
Eyeing the pair he listened and the name Ver'metus was spoken...last he knew they all were dead and if there were whispers of them breathing, he would have been sent to kill him just as he would have been sent to kill Ferinus.
His gaze fell on the male that was being addressed as a former brother, it had been a long time and so he still held his guard about him, never completely trusting someone but if his brother was trusting, then for now, he would keep his hesitation to himself.
Walking in front of Ty who was on the floor he kept her out of sight behind the mountain that was his body and then spoke, his voice was like an ice cold blade, making points and pointing out dry facts*
"You have to fix that you call a leg and this door still bars our way, still need me to blow things up or can you both take care of it....also, are there any more kriffing security traps that I need to know about. You seem to remember them all last moment so you may want to ask this places more...recent resident"

*Ver'metus arched a brow at Phantom. The man was more scarred and gruesome before but really it shouldn't surprise him. He shakes his head to himself and mutters about Phantom.*
If you learned to dodge you wouldn't have so many wounds... soon you won't know what's you and what's not.
*Again Ver shakes his head at the mention of explosives and brute force. He swings his sword up and brings the oversized great sword back in its sheath upon his back and steps closer to the trio.*
Impatient as ever. Focused on your trinkets as always. Even Ferinus.. to see you so quick to resort to it is... odd. You just have to know how to talk to you around here. When your in a secret base, you need to have secret ways.
*Ver'metus steps up and looks sideways at his old Master, and throws a glance wearily at Phantom, the last time they seen each other was a long time ago, he had not an idea where allegiances lied now. Nor in his seclusion did he keep track of who killed who. Not taht it concerned him anyways. He drew upon the force and waved his hand and a panel slides forth that had a slot in it.*
Twas alchemy that created most this place, and you expect to have an easy time without it? I thought Ferinus would at least have the sense to think of that.. Or has he gone decrepit on us?
*He reached down grabbed a throwing dagger from his boot, holding it up by its point he flipped it up, grabbed it by the handle and stabbed it into the slot, as it stabs in it glowed yellow from Ver's magics on it. Perhaps he was being over dramatic, but when his master had split ways he was much less advanced in his craft, now he had several spiecies of beast to survive. he was naught the learner now. He turns to them as the door creaks and groans.*
Or at least... I thought you'd expect it to work as such... My old Master?

In the silence that followed the door being opened with creaking sounds, there came a soft sigh behind Phantom as Ty rolled over on the floor, trying to cling to the last moments of the best sleep she had gotten in a while. Between the dart drugging her, and Phantom drugging her earlier, she had now gotten more sleep in this one day than she had in many nights over the last few years. After a soft groan as she covered her eyes with her forearm to block out the light she sighed and mumbled quietly, but distinctly in their silence
Feri... come back to bed, you said you liked snuggling....
Her voice coated with sleep, she smiled softly and gave a giggle
Mmmm just like that Feri..... Noooo... put the nexu costume back on.....
She rolled over again to her other side and curled up in a little ball, wrapped up in her cloak like a cocoon before blinking and squinting into consciousness and sitting up with another groan. Then she stood up slowly and still wrapped tightly in her cloak like a child wrapped in blankets, she came around Phantom's side and blinked sleepily at the three men, her hair awry, and her size massively dwarfed by the giant form of her Big Brother beside her.
I'm hungry.
Her eyes fell on Ver'metus and she gave a sleepy grin, that had a tinge of mischief
Is that food? Feri did you bring any cookies?

**Ferinus bent over while his old apprentice spoke and walked around them. He ripped the makeshift bandages off his wounded leg, exposing the bloody gash. He laid his hand on it and closed his eyes. The scar down the center of his face turned pitch black, tendril veins spreading across his face down to his fingertips. It took only a few moment of burning, searing pain for the wound to close up.
As he stood back up, he smiled at Ver'metus.**
"Perhaps you are right, old friend."
**He flicked his fingers, dark sparks shooting out of his hands. He shrugged nonchalantly.**
"Middle age, it gets to you. The thoughts come slower. The juice gets lighter. Perhaps this is how Vitiosus felt when I first arrived at the academy...."
**He studied Ver'metus' actions, smiling and nodding as the door opened up.**
"Seeing as how some of these doors may be keyed to our distinct Force energies, the fact that we found you here would prove most opportune."
**Ferinus turned to Phantom.**
"Brother, we haven't even left the entrance hall yet. More traps await us within, but hopefully we can find what I seek relatively quickly."
**Then, once the Sith Lord heard what Ty moaned. He pressed his lips in a thin line and nodded once.**
"Must watch the hormones on that one. Delusions, oh how they are lovely."
**When she sat up and rejoined the world, Ferinus nodded to his old apprentice.**
"We found a potentially kindred spirit hiding away in this sinkhole, Tyrana. This is Ver'metus, an old friend of mine."

*Standing and watching as two that he thought should have been dead spoke to one another he waited. It was an interesting reunion for them he supposed but considering they needed to move and establish themselves, this was just time being wasted.
Before he could speak up the small voice behind him was talking about coming back to bed among other...things. Though a Nexu costume. That would be interesting and something to always keep on hand just to needle him with.
Turning he took a ration bar, chocolate, and handed it to Ty so she would be up with some energy as well as help bring her to clarity of thought. Also, a learning lesson would be to never let her be hungry because tantrums tended to end up with bodies piled high just for a cookie.
As he turned back he focused his gaze on his brother*
"Well if there is more to go, then let us get a move on. We can all catch up once we have made sure all we need is secure and that we have a firm hold on the place you built which is also now trying to kill us."

**Ferinus nodded to his brother. He beckoned to the others with his head.**"Come on, then, everyone. Ver'metus, I believe I don't need to tell you what the next chamber is." **The Sith Lord lead them into the chamber out of the entrance hall, which immediately opened up into a large circular room. The walls were as black as any stone had ever been. A large stone circle stretched out before them. The intricate carvings told stories of battle and war and strife. Racks of weapons stood off to the sides. There were also boxing bags and free weights and many other pieces of equipment.
A single hall way stood at the top of a flight of stairs, lit by the blue flames of torches. Ferinus snickered. That was his work.**"Good to see those old fires are still burning to this day. Welcome to the training chamber, everyone. This is one of the most expansive rooms in the old academy.....and it is also incomprehensibly booby-trapped.....but only for those who stand as a threat to the academy." **Ferinus turned back and flashed a crooked grin at the others.**"Since Ver'metus and I were the former lords of this place, we're fine. Phantom, you and Ty must remain as unsuspicious as humanly possible. And.....just don't touch anything." **Ferinus began crossing across the training ring, his boots clapping harshly against its surface.**"The corridor up ahead will lead us to the classrooms and the labs, if memory serves me correctly, and ultimately it will lead us to what we came for."

To say that at this moment Ty was "suspicious" would be like calling a goldfish a shark. She was still groggy from the serum, although it was quickly leaving her system, but never the less she accepted the ration bar without a word and nibbled it with eyes barely open. When Ferinus began walking through the room, she reached out and took a gentle hold on Phantom's cloak with her free hand, letting him lead the sleepy Sith through the room while she preoccupied herself with munching. This was only one of many ways Ty was known to wake up, and although it was very out of character for her, it was by far the cutest and most innocent of ways, a way that she would have woken had she not turned to the life of the Dark Side.

*Following with his little sister tugging on his cloak he kept in line, eyes out front. Many would think that someone holding them like that would be a bother but he had looked after her for years when she was young, this was her nature though circumstances had prevented it from ever blooming and lead to a path of more....bloody endings.
As they entered the massive room he listened to the warning given and nodded. Once they had crossed he would need to patch into the building and add remote access to all of it. This was really more than a pain and he was starting to run low on explosives. Not completely out but he was not willing to part with his boots just yet.
Seeing the blue flame lined staircase he halted and picked Ty up and put her on his shoulders. If the floor was rigged then in her current state she would not know what was good and what wasn't to step on as well as her lowered reaction times.
Turning to his brother he inclined his head*
"Well lead the way then and lets make this quick"

**Ferinus nodded to Phantom continuing his stride across the training ring. He arched an eyebrow at the way Ty followed Phantom along as if she were a fatigued child. He couldn't help but chuckle. Perhaps innocence was not completely lost on her, after all.
But innocence was a weakness. Weaknesses were either crushed or converted into strength if one was truly to master the Dark Side. Ferinus didn't doubt Ty's grasp on her abilities, but perhaps with a little more training.....provided by himself,,,,
Ferinus didn't have time to finish that thought as sharp click rang out through the large room, emanating from the ceiling. The Sith Lord looked up, holding out a hand for everyone behind him to hold.
A small, round black metal droid floated down from above, landing in a hover between the four of them.**
::You are trespassing. You will be IDENTIFIED.::
**Ferinus shook his head. They didn't have time for this. Before he could say anything, however, a blue ray of light shot at him, running up and down his body.**
::Identification CONFIRMED. Welcome back, Lord Ferinus.::
**Ver'metus was the next to be scanned.**
::Identification CONFIRMED. Welcome back, Lord Ver'metus.::
**The little droid swirled around the air and scanned Ty.**
::UNKNOWN entity. Status......Threat Unknown.::
**Finally, the droid scanned Phantom, and immediately began beeping red.**
