The Temple of Karabor was a mess of activity as medical teams raced back and forth, grabbing equipment as they headed for the main entrance. Elizabeth had never seen the place so busy as she trailed along after them. No call to arms had been sounded. Which meant that there was no required deployment of the Alliance forces here. So why were all the medical teams acting like there was incoming wounded. Unless of course a patrol had been ambushed by local predators or befallen some other kind of accident.
Elizabeth raised her hand, blocking the sun light as she walked out of the main entrance and down the brief flight of stairs. As was common for Elizabeth, she was dressed in her red overalls, calf high combat boots, and her favourite singlet. As was also usual, the right strap hung loose and blew in the breeze.
As she looked to the sky, the pair of LAAT/i transports that had taken off earlier were coming back. Their speed indicating that they were the one's in need of the medical teams. Causing Elizabeth to panic for a moment. For she knew who had gone out on one of those gunships. Dranosh was one of her few friends here. She had come here with him when the Jedi had sent a small team to coordinate the last of the archive move and stay as permanent liasons.
It had been quite a change from her last posting, in which she'd been serving aboard a ship conducting mobile raids against the First Order. But after one such raid against the Bilbringi shipyards, the operation had been scrapped. Leaving Elizabeth and a trio of TIE/sf Space Superiority Fighter to be reassigned as the Jedi Council saw fit. Which - in this case - had meant being posted to Talus.
Her attention was then pulled to the gunships as they turned and came down hard on the ground. Their repulsor lifts barely managing to keep them from impacting the stone pavement. The doors swung back then, allowing all those within to disembark. Her heart skipping a beat before Dranosh rushed out first, cradling the unconscious form of Alaara Zaan. And then the stasis pods started unloading from the other gunship. Bringing home the final remnants of the Bilbringi raid at long last.
Elizabeth had thought them all dead. The mission reports had only confirmed two of the squads as having survived. With their accounts pretty confidently confirming the deaths of all others.
But here the final squad was. Looking relatively alive and well. And now she understood why the medical teams had scrambled to the entrance as they had. As the teams loaded the stasis pods onto dollies, Elizabeth turned and followed after Dranosh. The hulking green man not missing a stride as he headed into the temple. But even still, Elizabeth kept pace with him, her gaze dropping to Alaara. The Togrutan Jedi Master looking even smaller cradled in Dranosh's arms "Will she... is she going..." She came to a stop then, unable to keep going on as she felt a sudden fear start to grip her. She was no doctor, but Alaara didn't look like she was in the best condition. And they had no idea just what the First Order had done to the Jedi Knight when they held her captive. As she looked up, Dranosh had also come to a stop and was almost standing over her "Alaara is strong... She's one of the finest Jedi Knights I have ever seen. She will get through this. Ok? We just have to be there for her, and help her regain her strength." Elizabeth nodded, Feeling reassured by Dranosh's comments. She resumed following alongside him then, as they headed to the medical bay so the doctors could tend to Alaara’s condition

Founding The Order
Zion strode out on to one of the many balcony's that overlooked the gardens and training arena. He leaned forward against the handrail with his hood pulled back, thinking back upon the past couple of days since his arrival to Talus. A had recovered several of his memories when he arrived on the planet and met Marcus' Royal Guard. He had learned of the rise of a new Empire, and that both the Republic and Galactic Alliance had fallen in its wake. But now the Corellian Coalition was forming to band together a number of worlds to stand in defiance of Imperial Rule. The Jedi Order had suffered a bitter blow when the Sith had attacked Felucia. And now a Sith Empire was forming separate of the First Order.
To say the Galaxy was in a state of disarray was putting it lightly. The time for burying his head in the sand and worrying solely about his people were passing. It was time for him to take a stand, and hopefully he would not be alone in doing so. Even though he knew most of those with him would be more than happy to sign on to this new fight, he still wished to give them an opportunity to decide for themselves. He just hoped they would be ok with what he chose to do next with the Temple, which MArcus had granted him domain to do with as he chose

Elizabeth strode out on to the balcony a few moments after Zion, clad in her overalls and sleeveless shirt. She came to a stop a few feet behind him, remaining silent as she regarded him. Life had changed for her since his arrival to the Temple. Not because he was now in charge of the place and had been working her hard. No, it was because for the first time in years, she knew her Father was alive. She had thought he had died back during the Mandalorian crusade, but he had survived. And he was out there fighting, trying to find his way back to her. She cleared her throat then "It's time Master Morviael... It seems like the last of those who are going to show up have arrived..."

He had felt Elizabeth walk out on to the balcony before she had spoken. Although he had initially been unsure who she was, he had since long cleared up the mystery. But now his problem was that he couldn't shake thoughts about how alike her and Edward were. They both seemed eager to help fight for others that were incapable of doing so. He pushed off the rail and turned to face herExcellent... Come on, I think you're about to make your Father very proud... He ignored any confused looks she might have given him as he strode into the building and walked along a couple corridors. He arrived to the council chambers a few moments later, his gaze passing over everyone assembled here. @artoria, Ayora Truesong [RETIRED], Ashara, Lancelot, Dranosh, Alaara Zahn, and a handful of other Force Sensitives from across the Fed Dub. He motioned for Elizabeth to take her seat before he began to address them allI just wanted to thank you all for coming here today... I know this isn't exactly, how best to explain it... Normal? You all chose to be here today, and I thank you for that. So without further ado... For those of you who do not me, my name is Zion Morviael. I've spent the last three centuries fighting my way across the galaxy to bring an end to a civil war and over the past five or so years, ran the Temple over on Honoghr... I've seen more than my fair of the galaxy, and learned a lot in my lifetime. Few things have remained the same over all that time... He slowly paced back and forth in front of the gathered group of people. His gaze lingering a little longer than normal upon Ashara. He offered her a brief smirk, before addressing the group at largeBut those that have, well... I have remained largely removed from involving myself in them. But that is something I intend to change today... I'm sure that compared to some of you, I'm something of a novice when it comes to knowing about the war. But I know this, that what ever happens, we have to make a stand. Not for the idea of the Coalition or the Jedi Order's belief in what they consider Balance... He resumed his slow pace, before taking his position where he had started pacing fromJedi, Sith, Imperial, Alliance... They are all ideological lines drawn in the sand by people in charge. Everybody deserves a right to choose what they believe in, and as far as the Force is concerned... true balance must be maintained between the Light and Dark... The ancient Jedaii Order understood this principle better than any Order has since then. It is not a mistake I intend to make... Marcus has graciously granted me stewardship of Karabor, and it is from here that I hope to found a new order to fight for the good of the people and to bring balance between the Light and the Dark so that they may coexist... So tell me... He settled his gaze upon Ashara thenWill you stand with me and become a Knight of Karabor?

The Force had brought Ashara to the Temple of Karabor years ago. Mostly she kept to herself in seclusion. Through her ability with Force Vision, she had seen the coming of the human, Zion Morviael, would be a turning point in the history of the Force. Her physical appearance was always met with stairs of confusion and curiosity. But when Zion arrived and word spread of his intentions of founding a new order, she had to be there.
Once the meeting had started, Ashara stood close to the back, shifting her hooved feet nervously. Ashara listened intently while trying to avoid notice by the others, so as to not distract from what Zion had to say. But much of his speech seemed to be pointed at her. When the final call to action was given she stepped forward, her hooves clopping on the stone beneath them, and looked at the aged human with her golden eyes.
=Ashara= This war has brought too much chaos and needs to be stopped. Balance leads to Order and Order advances this galaxy and her people to a better future. I will join your cause for Balance.

Zion gave a nod of his head as Ashara stepped forward. Her unusual appearance was unlike anything he had seen up close before. From the color of her skin and the jewelry that adorned her back, to the horns that sprouted from her head, and the golden eyes that she stared at him with. But where other's curiosity lay with her outward appearance. His lay with her strange presence within the Force. It was unlike anything he had come across before. And perhaps now that she had committed herself to the Order, he might have a chance to learn more about her I could not agree more... It is my pleasure to be the first to welcome you as a Knight... With Ashara's pledge complete, he shifted his attention to the remaining crowd. Now all that remained was to see how many others would follow in her stead And what of the rest of you? Come forward if you will stand with us...

Ayora wasn't sure if she would ever get used to just how eventful her life had gotten since deciding to journey with Zion. The last few days had been filled with more twists and turns than most people could fill a life time with. But throughout it all, she had not batted an eye. Sure, the meeting in the Palace had been filled with a few moments that had concerned her for Zion's safety. But they had come out of it fine, and been granted refuge within the Temple of Karabor. How he managed to pull any of this off while acting like he had it all planned out was frankly astounding. So, when he had called a meeting of Force Users from across the FedDub, Ayora had made sure she did not miss it.
She sat and listened to the speech he gave. Talking of founding an Order to bring balance to the Force and fight for the good of the people. Ideals that she knew he truly believed in and would work toward achieving. If she was honest with herself, she already knew what her answer was going to be before Zion finally asked any of them to join him. She rose up and took her place beside the horned woman I made my decision before today... I will stand with you both... She turned and offered the woman next to her a smile

She had been confused by Zion's statement to her as he left the balcony, but instead had opted not to press the point with him. A decision which was quickly rewarded as Zion stood before the group and made his proclamation. The founding of an Order of Knights. An interesting concept. Though more interesting was his feelings toward the Jedi Order and their interpretation of balance. Her gaze had passed to Alaara and Dranosh when the man had driven that point home. Unlike herself, both had trained in the Jedi Order and held titles. But neither of them moved to say anything. What ever she expected to happen next though, was not what went down. With Alaara standing up and joining the slowly growing crowd "I have fought by the Jedi's way for years, and yet here I find myself... I will not forgot what the First Order did to me... This war needs to be brought to an end..." Elizabeth locked eyes with Dranosh before he too rose up and stood beside Alaara "The Force is a mysterious thing... I do not claim to know what secrets it holds... But I am willing to trust in it and join your cause!" If ever there was a sign that this was the right path forward, her two friends pledging to join this Order was surely it. Elizabeth rose form her seat and took her place between Dranosh and Alaara, nodding to Zion "I might not be as strong as my Father, but I can only do my best to try and help others..."

Artoria always enjoyed watching her Father in action. Regardless of how often he denied it, he was a leader through and through. Once he picked up a cause, he fought for it till the bitter end. She was just glad that this time he was making an effort to bring others into the fight and share his burden with them. Hopefully with so many rallying to his new Order, it would help soften what she was about to say next as she strode over, Lancelot hot on her heels. She came to a stop just off to the side of the considerably sized group "Father... The League will always fight for you and alongside your Order... But Lancelot and Myself? We are not Knights... We cannot pledge ourselves as such..."

Ashara gave a small smile in return to Ayora before turning her attention to the three others who stood and joined them. Her smile faded though when Artoria, apparently Zion's offspring, did not declare for the cause, nor did her partner. Even so, Ashara could tell that those that had were powerful in their own right and would make indispensable companions. Her golden eyes turned back to Zion, waiting for his response. While she found the concept of assassinations unpleasant, she knew that sometimes a well timed and backed murder could turn the fortunes for a peoples, and this League would be a boon to the Order.

Zion turned to each person as they joined the gathering crowd in joining the new Order. Each new voice added, was another brother or sister ready to take up arms. Truth be told, he had expected Ayora and Elizabeth to join the cause. It was Alaara and Dranosh that had caught him by surprise. Two Jedi... former Jedi now... forsaking their Order's beliefs. Well, it was a strong statement. But not one he intended to challenge too much. He was grateful to have them onside. Then came Artoria and Lancelot, his daughter speaking on both their behalf's.
He smiled as he gave her a hug. While he had hoped she might join the Knights, he suspected that this would happen. In all honesty, he was proud of her decision. She had created a home for herself and he suspected she would expand its ranks once more I know... I knew even before I asked... The League is yours now Artoria. They fight for you and what you believe in... He pulled back from the hug then, examining his daughter from head to toe as a proud father I love you... I will always be proud of you... You are always welcome in Karabor... The last of the gathered force sensitives came forward, pledging to join the Knights of Karabor. This was the beginning of something new. Time would tell just how far their reach would extend and how successful they would be We stand together now, as Brothers and Sisters of the Order of the Temple of Karabor! Let us celebrate together and rest up tonight... Tomorrow we begin... He turned his attention back to Ashara then, offering his hand forth for her to take Would you perhaps permit me a moment of your time?

=Ashara= Certainly.
Ashara nodded and took the hand of Zion Morviael. Her hand was warm, for a human it would have indicated a fever, but for her it was the norm. Most beings felt cold, like they were missing the same fire that burned inside her. No doubt a side affect of her transformation those many years ago. She allowed the Founder of the Order to lead her were he would. With tail swishing behind her, hooves clicking on the floors, and horns avoiding any low hanging objects, she painted quite the humorous picture. Or she would have were it not for her other worldly elegance and strange presence in the Force.

Zion carefully took her hand and guided her from the chambers. Leading her along corridors, they made their way out to the landing atop the dual stair cases that occupied the main atrium. From here, the entire room could be seen. The various balcony walkways, the staircases, the several murals painted upon the room and walls. But more importantly than all of that, was the Obsidian and Marble statues that sat at the foot of the staircases. He let go of Ashara's hand then, as he folded his arms and rested against the railing, his gaze shifting from the artwork back to Ashara Many that have pledged themselves to the Knights today are people I know and care about. But I can't say I have had the chance to make your acquaintance before... So let me ask, to what name I might call my new sister in arms?

Her eyes took in the room she now had a commanding view of, before also falling on her companion. Studying the man, Ashara smiled. She sometimes forgot others did not share her visions and thus did not often see the paths they would tread days in advance. How blessed of an existence that must be. Getting to experience life with all its surprises, but when you have such a gift, it would be unwise to not use it.
=Ashara= I am called Ashara. Master Morviael, I assume you took me away from our comrades for more than a simple introduction.

Zion smirked as Ashara implied he had an ulterior motive to stealing her away from their new comrades. In truth, she was not entirely wrong. There was a certain attraction he felt toward her, and a curiosity to learn more about her Ashara... A beautiful name for a beautiful woman... And intelligent... I suspect I am already well out of my depths... He chuckled as he shifted his attention back down to the statues at the foot of the twin staircases Let's just say that your have caught my curiosity. Few exist in the Force quite like you do...

She smiled again as Zion confessed his interest in her. Flattered a little, she nodded at his comment about her mark in the Force. Ashara did feel it herself, especially around others gifted in the Force.
=Ashara= Yes, I suppose that is another side effect of being the subject of a Force experiment, aside from the tail and horns, anyway.

He shifted his position then, half turning to face Ashara as she mentioned being the subject of a Force experiment. That certainly explained a lot of things. While still leaving a lot of questions. He suspected it would be a long time before he learned it all, since he did not intend to barrage her with finding out everything here and now Well, they are certainly fine additions, no doubt about that... But a Force experiment huh? Dangerous things, those are. But you seem to have survived the ordeal... What were they trying to do, if you don't mind me asking?

The slightest hint of a blush crossed her ash colored skin as Zion continued to pay her complement. But the topic then turned to the ordeal she had suffered through. It was nothing she was ashamed of, just hard to talk about. But she would speak of it.
=Ashara= All I know is from the notes my... creator... left behind. I was a child, one of many, that he took to his laboratory. He seemed to be attempting to create a being of perfectly balanced Dark and Light. I was subjected to what I must assume was decades of torture and brainwashing, with the others he took. I was the only one to survive the ordeal, apparently he got attached and named me, Ashara, after his late daughter. But soon the time came for him to do what he had been planning. I was subjected to the changing effects of Sith Alchemy, but throughout the process he tapped into the Lightside of the force. Hoping it would "balance me out" as he put it. But it cost him his life. His spirits last actions were to awake me and pass on some of his knowledge of the Force. I awoke with nothing and not knowing who or what I was.

If there had been any doubts left in his mind before, none remained now after she recounted her story. Her presence making more sense than before. Zion stood free of the railing then as he reached out and gently rested his right hand upon her shoulder Thank you. For telling me... Forgive me for asking, I sometimes let my curiosity get the better of me... He lightly squeezed her shoulder then, not wanting to break contact with her I'm glad you are here now... You might have awoken with nothing, but we stand united now. And we will be all the stronger for it...

Ashara reached up with her left hand and took Zion's. She took it off her shoulder as she turned to face him. Her gold eyes looked into his his.
=Asahara= I appreciate the sentiment. But the past, like the future, is not to be feared. Those memories may have been painful once, but they are gone now. I look forward, to the future, and I see that this Order will help shape that future. Their is no where else I could be.
