I think that might be able to work as long as everyone agrees. Seeing as how you're looking for a group to start writing with, the result of this RP could easily lead you to one of the groups whether it be the Sith or the Jedi or anyone else involved.
Thoughts from others?

I'm fine with it, I've decided to use this for some explanation of gap of time between where I am now and after I took a leave of absence for the last 4yrs. Being a Doc I'd be in the camp offering free health care. Being a former black ops assassin I'd also know how to throw down and protect my patients. Being a force user doesn't hurt either

Really it's up to Caoimhin Shan, he had said he would play the girl.

What if there were two girls that met the description, and some of you started chasing the wrong one?

¿Por qué no los dos?
Kent's story does fit alongside my idea for the target. But why not double the fun? As Chill unknowingly pointed out, the target does match a similar physical description of Kent. The target (her name will not be stated until her release on the forums, as is my custom) has raw semi-untrained Force talent that comes out, rather explosively, when she is scared or stressed, but she isn't precisely the brightest of kids. Kent, on the other hand, is a certified genius whose Force powers, while not nonexistent, are not combat-oriented. I feel that the two would make a perfect team, and the hunter would think so as well. This would frustrate him even further, making it harder for him to bring in his original target, so his broadcast would include an additional bounty, paid out-of-pocket, against Kent as well. If he manages to complete his original task, he still stands to make a small profit, but he'd be just as satisfied with finally getting the job done.

Mind if I join up? I have an agent in the area (Hutta actually, but I am sure she would be traveling between the planets, gathering as much intel as possible). She kinda was left in a void by our fav pirate...

So! The last go at this was fun. Great setup, good story. Looks like a few people are still continuing things, too.
But.
I think it was a little crowded. There was only one treat and way too many dogs. The reason the previous SpontRPs worked so well was because it was just an uncontrolled environment. No one was left out or unable to participate. It worked a little better. I loved watching Val's situation play out, and I definitely loved that it was a herald for numerous veteran writers returning to the boards. But I'm throwing in my vote for something a little more like the derelict ship for the next SpontRP situation.
We up for another one soon? Or are we taking a break?

Mmm, I gotta say, i agree a lot with Rin here. It was a great hook as a storyline for a group of writers, but in the overall view, it really should have been just one of a number of available things to do at the event, instead of the main thing, with it feeling crowded and like you weren't participating if you didn't try get in on it. I think just choosing a planet that is currently under RPed on again would be a great idea and just let people come up with their own reasons for being there would be good, maybe a couple ideas could ideas could be pitched here that people could be interested (that could be included in the announcement), but overall, things are really left up to each person. (The fact there was a need for a DM in a SpontRP really just confused me... Sorry. But like has been said, the story was interesting and enjoyable to have a read)

The charity ball on Coruscant that's already going on at 500 Republica could provide some good spontaneity for anyone who is looking or interested, without being an official SpontRP. There are plenty of reasons and opportunities for shenanigans.

There was only one treat and way too many dogs. I don't disagree with your analysis, but that just means someone has to get creative and invent another treat.

Do we want to do one of these in May, or is there still enough happening on Nar Shaddah and on Coruscant to keep everyone busy?

This weekend might be too short notice for some people. Shall we try for the weekend of May 8-10?

I'd actually prefer his weekend. I feel like people might tend to get fired up for it, then have to wait another week and lose that enthusiasm because of the delay. If we can come up with a planet or scenario by tomorrow, I don't see why we couldn't announce it and get going this weekend. Especially since nobody needs to plan anything beyond the location.
