*Gavin had to admire Andor grace and speed. He was a warrior, and despite where the intent of this battle seemed to be, he had to respect the abilities of another. As Gavin came around to make his attacks, he saw Andor already facing him, sabers ready to strike. Gavin's momentum was already flowing and couldn't be averted so easily to avoid injury. The only option was to separate. With this in mind, Gavin released a Force Push to push Andor away.
Separated, Gavin lept from the surrounding flames over to where his trench coat lay. Grabbing it, he continued to move further away to give himself a little time. It had been awhile since he faced such an opponent. He had to be smart. Maybe his next weapon of choice would help with an element of surprise. From his coat, he removed his saberstaff. The shadowy black chrome shown in the firelight. It was the same staff he had used on Nar Shaddaa. Four curved blades sat down the hilt on each side before he pressed a button and the blades moved above the emitters. For now, he left the blades unignited.*

Andor's blade was about to strike when he felt a large force impact against his chest. The Force Push wasn't strong enough to send Andor flying, but it caused him to take a couple of steps back, his attack narrowly missing Gavin. The Sith Lord gave out a roar of angst as his attack missed and charged Gavin, who was just now leaping through the flames. He wouldn't be given any time to escape, as Andor broke into a sprint after him, just out of reach.... For now.*
*Fueled by anger, Andor didn't jump over the flames. He ran straight through them. HIs black cloak ignited as the flames' fingertips reached to lick shoulder height. The cloak was fairly thick and would be able to protect Andor for maybe thirty seconds or so before the fire burned through, moving on to his tunic. The Sith Lord had maybe a minute left before he would feel the first bite of the fire on his pale flesh.*
*The Sith Lord charged Gavin, wreathed in flame. His flaming cloak flared out behind him, smoke whirling around him like a whiff of cloud. His eyes were black as pitch, fully consumed with anger, hate, and the other corruptions of the Darkside. He looked like a demon reincarnated. Andor was gaining on Gavin with every step.*
*First, he felt a single raindrop, splashing against his nose. A spark of lightning illuminated the now pitch black sky, followed by the reverberations of a deafening clap of thunder. Andor pushed forward, when all of a sudden the sky unloaded it's burden. A sheer wall of rain plummeted to the earth, instantly soaking the field and both combatants. Hisses of steam filled Andor's ears as the blazing inferno behind him (and of his robes) were immediately distinguished by the cool rain.*
*He slid to a stop on the now wet grass. He peered through his slit eyes, trying to keep out the water. The falling rain was so thick, Andor had lost sight of Gavin, and realized he could only barely see the crimson glow of his own lightsabers. If he couldn't see Gavin, Andor knew Gavin couldn't see him. He could take his time.*
*Andor deactivated his lightsabers, the snap-hiss of their deactivation drowned out by the thunder and pitter-patter of rain. He shrugged his shoulders and his black cloak fell to the ground in a shaken limp mass of cloth. Immediately, he felt twenty-times lighter, the thick, wet cloth having weighed down his body. Although he still had a wet tunic clinging to his body, Andor knew he would be more free without his top layer.*
*His mind was ever alert during this time, cautious for any move Gavin made. The Dark Lord closed his eyes, his vision was useless anyways. He tried to extend his senses, listening for any movement other than the rain and thunder, but to no avail. It seemed the two combatants would have to rely on the Force to guide them.*
*Andor took a deep breath and channeled the darkness in his body, feeling its power flow through his veins: and to his eyes. All of a sudden, it was as if a fog had been lifted, Andor's vision returning even with his eyes shut. A simple tactic: Force Sight. There, about seven feet ahead of the Sith Lord, stood Gavin, holding some sort of elongated lightsaber hilt: no doubt a saber staff.*
*Hopefully, Andor had surprise on his side. With the strength of his mechanical arm, Andor threw his left lightsaber like a hatchet, thumbing the activation switch in the process. The crimson blade came to life, despite the heavy downpour. Luckily for Andor, he had prepared himself for encounters such as these. Back on Gyndine during his time with the Palpatinian Order of the Sith, he had waterproofed his lightsabers, allowing them to work even in the wettest of circumstances. Hopefully Gavin did not have such an advantage with his own saber staff. *
*The lightsaber soared for Gavin's chest, hoping to impale him with deadly accuracy, speed and strength.
*Andor stood there, his other lightsaber held, unlit, in his right hand.

*Gavin had gained the distance needed when he stopped, so running was longer a necessity. He was, however, slightly amused that Andor chose to run straight through the flames. Even if pain could be fuel to power one's darkness, there were things he wouldn't openly do. Gavin readied himself as Andor charged, ready to attack.
However, as the rain began its descent, he watched Andor come to a halt just before the downpour blocked his vision. The fire had nearly faded instantly, leaving only the light that came from the flashing sparks of lightning. For a moment, he smiled and looked to the sky, enjoying the soothing rain. But this instant was short lived as he redirected his attention. It was hard to figure what his opponent was planning, but he had to assume that he was able to fight as easily in the poorly visible battlefield. Gavin, too, had the same thought as Andor. Closing his eyes, the let the Force run through him, giving him new sight capable of peering through the heavy rain. It was times like this he was thankful for his time on Asgard. Training to harness and control emotions, his past, his body while in pain or under sickness, and finally, his special task, those few years he wore only a blindfold, using the Force to see.
Gavin could see, Andor, being patient. Deciding to attempt another go at deceit, Gavin began looking around, crouched in a ready stance while looking around alert. If Andor could see him, great, if not, it didn't matter. When Andor threw his saber, Gavin noticed the motion and the coming attack, though he still pretended not to see. If he didn't have Force Sight, it clearly would have been his end.
As the saber rocketed towards him, he channeled the Force through him, redirecting the aspect of his speed from his muscles in a running for to increase his mental and physical reflexes. Time slowed, just enough to making dodging the saber a cakewalk. But that wasn't his goal. Stepping to his right, he brought one end of his staff out to his left. The room among the four extended blades over the emitter left little room. But he held it twisted just enough to let it slip through. As it did, , the phrik blades locked it in place and made it spin. Using the Force to keep it there, he let the staff drop slightly as he sought to change direction and slashed out in front of him back to his right. With another twist at just the right moment, he sent Andor's saber flying back at him. That should give him a surprise.
This act, however, took its toll. Using Force Sight, Force Speed to such a degree, and using the Force to keep Andor's saber in place nearly simultaneously took a hit to his reserves. He'd have to stay cautious from here, using the Force sparingly, hoping for a grand finish.*

Andor frowned as Gavin reacted to his saber throw. It seemed that the Sith's opponent also had his own means of seeing without seeing. Andor watched as Gavin became a blur, catching his lightsaber with some sort of device on his saber staff. Andor admitted, it was a unique contraption he had not encountered before. A second later, if that, Andor found his own lightsaber flying back at him like a spear. Quickly, he sidestepped to his right and raised his left hand, just beneath the projected path of the flying blade. The blade flew by, passing harmlessly to his left and above his hand. At the last possible second, Andor's hand snapped upwards and caught hold of the black hilt, like a venus flytrap snatching its prey. With the weightlessness of the blade, there was very little momentum, as Andor twisted his wrist, twirling the blade until his hand held it in a traditional grip yet again. The falling rain transformed as it collided with the heated lightsaber blade, sending up curls of hiss steam: a menacing effect.*
*He charged Gavin, cutting the distance between them to nothing in just mere seconds. Then, he jumped at his opponent, his right lightsaber reactivating. The Sith's jump caused his body to corkscrew clockwise and turn like a rapidly spiraling drill Gavin, body parallel to the ground. His lightsabers were held out at odd angles from the body, but their blades preceded his head, protecting it from any opposition his opponent might hold. The blades criss-crossed at their midsection as Andor spun in a way that would make driving a blade into his opponent's torso impossible without receiving damage. Hopefully, this would deter any remnants of bravery Jedi held. The Fourth Form was designed to overwhelm an opponent with a flurry of motion, and this corkscrew driver was meant to do just that.

*It wasn't a surprise when Andor caught his saber. If one could see it coming and had the reflexes to move, catching a saber wasn't too hard. He expected nothing less from a skill opponent.
As Andor made his move, Gavin readied himself for the coming attack. However, he didn't expect Andor's next move. Just barely in front of him, Andor lept at him in a dive, spinning as he did, both blades angled out in front like a drill. The speed and timing gave no time to react, at least none for a strong defense, counter, or dodge. Even if he enhanced his reflexes again, it wouldn't be fast enough. The was only two options. Take the coming attack or....
Going with the second option, mostly as the slight surprise had loosened Gavin's stance, he simply fell backwards, just a slight push of his feet to give an inch or so more to avoid the attacks. His saberstaff found its way into both of his hands, moving to his left side. Andor's blades were centimeters from his body as he went, letting Andor pass over just barely. Just before his body hit the ground, he ignited both ends of the saberstaff, silver beams of energy lighting up in the rain. His, too, functioned in the rain. While it was a feature of most of his sabers, this weapon had been built for versatile use. As he hit the ground with a thud, the blade pointing to his feet angled up towards Andor, the other blade piercing the ground just passed his head on the left. It was the only thought thing he came up with, keeping it to his left. With Andor spinning clock-wise, his blades would meet Gavin's right should he let the blades spread out in attempts to cut him.
Flying through the air as he was, left Andor few options. Arresting the spin would be difficult to do instantly, even with the Force. He could flip, but it would follow through with the spin and leave any attack at his head during the flip slightly off. However, these were only Gavin's assumptions basing what he felt capable of if he was performing the attack.*

With the Force-given sixth sense, Andor rarely ever required a clear picture via his eyes to see anything. This was one of those times. Even as he corkscrewed forward, his blades undulating between pointed straight along his trajectory and flaring outward to catch any obvious dodge attempts, Gavin's choice at dropping to the ground was a good one. But it was not necessarily a winning move either. In fact, it could potentially be end game.*
*As Gavin dropped below his lightsaber igniting with one end of the blade going into the air, Andor's sabers went from twirling forward to twirling near his midsection. When Gavin's blade protruded to catch Andor off guard, Andor's sabers were there like glowing shields and the spinning motion would bat Gavin's saber staff away. Whether or not he could hold on to it due to the harsh deflection was unknown. Andor sailed by harmlessly and he landed by bringing his spinning body into a frontal flip, where he landed on his feet, facing Gavin and holding his lightsabers out to either side of his body, facing at an upward angle. His stare was on the and who was laying on the ground, just feet away.*
*Andor approached his opponent swiftly. As he approached, Andor's twirled his right lightsaber in his palm until he held it in a reverse grip. His body was growing more tired by the second, the continued use of Ataru applying a strain to his body that he could only resist for so long. On top of the continued use of Force Sight, Andor knew it wouldn't be long until he would be long until he had to find some new strategy. It wasn't what he wanted to do, but it seemed like Mother Nature had force his hand.*
*Keeping his left blade down low and close, between himself and Gavin, in case Gavin had held onto his saber staff and would attack, Andor towered over the man and slammed his right blade down while dropping to his right knee (to gather more momentum and thus power), aiming to drive his lightsaber blade into Gavin's heart, executing him on the spot.*
*Lightning bolts dropped from the black clouds, illuminating the wall of rain in an eerie whitish color. Roars of thunder drummed against the Sith Lord's ears as the relentless torrent of water bombarded the Sith's body. The sheer force of the falling rain would be enough to take any man down, should they be forced to endure it for too long of a time.*
*It was only a matter of time. Andor had get to his ship. Gavin was not worthy of the Empire. Andor had made a mistake coming here. It was time for the Sith to end it before the storm ended him.*
*Tick Tock.

*Gavin had planned for the possible counter attack as Andor had better choice of movement compared to Gavin at that moment. His grip held strong as the sabers beat against his hilt. Another reason he built it the way he had. However, he always wondered if he should have built it the way the first version had out of cortosis. That would have been an even greater surprise to the Sith.
Gavin watched as Andor flipped, landing facing him. With him on the ground, a quick attack was always the best option. Had Andor planned to simply strike down, Gavin could have easily blocked it, yet instead he chose to drive the blade home into his chest. His blades extinguished quickly as he rolled to his right, rolling just out of the way and to his knees where he jumped back to gain distance. The Force was draining him as well, the pouring rain beating down on him threatening to smash them flat. But the battle was far from over for Gavin wasn't about to let Andor go so easily.
It had been awhile since Gavin had fought in this form, but it was something he had to try. He hoped it would be something that the Sith had yet to see in combat. Twisting the center of the staff, he pulled them apart, a chain flowing out with them connecting each hilt. When he landed a bit away, he held the left hilt in his hand while he held the chain in his right, spinning the blade quickly at his side. This form was one he had created, Khaotic Reign: Art of the Swinging blades. it was so much more than simple saber combat with a fiber linked cord. The chain was much longer, best used by utilizing the Force to control the extending and retracting chain as well as the strength and accuracy of the blade. Whip style combat was also needed experience in this form.
Spinning it for only a moment, he slung behind him then out towards Andor, letting the blade arch around his right side in a firm attack, strong on impact, though unable to to hold the defense. While easy to defend against, Gavin planned to use the unpredictable pattern of attacks to throw Andor off. And all this was hoping to lead to one thing: for Gavin to get behind him and grab hold of him. There was one last attack, he was going to save his energy for, but couldn't be used until that moment.
Gavin's darkness plunged deeper, knowing he had to give up and reality of simple harm of disabling his opponent, he had to try and kill. The black of his iris bled further, sooner covering the entirety of his eyes as his iris began to shine through in silver. His presence also differed than most, not overwhelming of crushing, but seemed to become an empty void that seemed to create a hole in ones being of who got near. After all the loss, all that had been taken from inside of him, this was how his darkness resonated.*

Andor's blade plunged into the wet dirt, sending up a small stream of smoke from the grass that was seared by his hot blade. Gavin had rolled to Andor's left, so Andor followed with a quick slash of his left blade, narrowly missing Gavin's leg as his opponent leapt away. Andor cursed and stood up, taking his time. He faced Gavin and watched as he pulled apart his saber staff, revealing that it was some sort of hybrid between a lightwhip and a set of nunchucks. The Sith had never dealt with something like this before. But as with a lightwhip, Andor figured it would be ineffective in close quarters as the effectiveness of the weapon relied purely on momentum. If Andor could get close, it would be game over.*
*Darkness swallowed his vision as Andor released his hold on Force Sight. It was beginning to get too strenuous and he could feel his body slowing. The circumstances of the battle were just completely against him. Gavin was a skilled opponent who was able to evade and succesfully defend against all of Andor's acrobatics. The storm wasn't helping either. In fact, it pissed Andor off. His anger bubbled in his chest, getting close to reaching its boiling point.*
*His physical eyes snapped open, against the constant stream of water down his face. He peered and managed to distinguish the very faintest tint of red, the only color noticeable against the falling rain. He squinted as the red light began to rapidly grow brighter, coming in from his left. The weapon was a slow one, needing to gain momentum before striking, thus the distance it had to travel was not direct, giving Andor a second's more time to react than normal. He stepped forward and ducked beneath the blade. As he ducked, his right blade (still held in a reverse grip) pointed into the air, colliding with the hilt of the blade, very close to the connection with the chain. Andor knew it would disrupt Gavin's momentum.*
*Andor stepped forward again, using the second red glow of the blade Gavin had near his body as his target. He thrusted out in a stab with his left blade hoping to pierce the area where Andor predicted was Gavin's sternum.*
*But there was a catch, at about the time Gavin would block the lightsaber, Andor quickly thumbed the activation switch. In about three-quarters of a second, the blade was gone. Thumbing it again, the blade would appear about a second later. This would give Gavin two seconds or so to react to Andor's sudden use of Trakata, which would hopefully avoid Gavin's defense, and plunge deep into his chest.

*Andor's assumption of the attack was spot on. No matter the version he chose of his form, it required distance and time to gain the momentum it needed. The goal was always to get the first attack in, then let the following attacks, whether of speed or of strength, hold an opponent in place. If he had used the form to the fullest and released both sabers, he would have been completely defenseless. However, Gavin knew his disadvantages, as well as the supposed strength and ability of his opponent, hence keeping one saber close
Gavin's control was much better though, than Andor would suspect. He felt the impact down the chain and the shift in momentum. Quickly, he pulled the chain down and behind him, the saber responding by coming straight down at Andor. The attack was ineffective as his opponent had already began to approach. At Andor's pace, he couldn't get the thrown saber back to him in time either. His only option was to use the saber in his hand.
As he watched, something seemed off about Andor's attack. A straight attack didn't seem wise. With the trust, Gavin moved to his left, his own saber moving to push Andor's away. Already, Gavin was slightly beside Andor as the blade turned off and on again, his own passing by in front of Andor. Both had a clear strike now, or so it would seem. Andor simply had to slash over at Gavin and cut through his being while Gavin could have down so as well, though Andor's second saber could be a problem. Instead, Gavin went with a completely different approach, one he had hoped would reveal itself.
Channeling the Force through him, he took it all, hoping this would end the fight. He released his grip on his saber, using Force Speed to once again enhance his reflexes as before. The Force was building quickly in Gavin as he stepped behind Andor and brought his arms down and around his opponent, seeking to lock his arms at his side near his waist. No time was wasted in holding him as he released everything he had left in Force Repulse, point blank at Andor's back. It was what he had been waiting for and hoped it was all that it was going to take to bring the fight to an end. A split second before the Repulse unleashed, a faint dark whisper came from Gavin to Andor's ear.
"Ka-boom."
*If the attack had been successful in its hit, it would have been a powerful blow hat would have sent both flying in opposite directions leaving both battered. Gavin would also be completely depleted in his power, unleashing it all. It all came in one swift attack almost, leaving no time time for Gavin to stop anything from being unleashed. If the battle continued, He'd be without the Force and worn out, as well as feeling the repelling energies of the Repulse weakening his own muscles. He just hoped that while they'd be alive and possibly concious, neither would have the ability to keep going.*

Andor’s visibility was hindered, and his connection to the Force was tiring. When Gavin broke into a burst of Force Speed, Andor couldn’t track his movement. He felt Gavin’s arms slide down Andor’s, effectively pinning them to his side, to prevent any sort of attack. Fortunately for the Sith, Gavin had overlook what seemed like a simple detail, but in reality, would serve as Gavin’s death.*
*Andor’s right blade was still held in a reverse grip when Gavin pinned his arms to his side. Still having free reign with his wrist, Andor immediately angled the blade so that it hummed behind Gavin’s back, preventing him from backing away without touching the blade.*
*In this same instant, Gavin blindly attacked unaware of Andor’s maneuver. If he had said anything in Andor’s ear, it was drowned out by onslaught of rain and thunder. Andor’s body felt a significant pressure against his back as Gavin unleashed his Force Repulse. There was no time to counter, dodge or to react in anyway.*
*He grunted as the wind was knocked out of him and his body sent in to the air. Since Gavin’s repulse caused the two combatant’s to fly away from each other, there was no escape from Andor’s strategically angled lightsaber. It would slice Gavin in half from right hip to left shoulder.*
*Andor’s body crashed into the hard, wet ground amid a series of snaps, pops and cracks. Pain immediately swarmed his body and he let out a gasp of pain. His right shoulder was out of its socket, four or five broken ribs, a fractured right ankle and a concussion. His back ached, but was probably only bruised since his right side took the brunt of the fall. The warmth of pain took over the Sith. He laid on his left side, gasping for breath. His head pulsated with every beat of his black heart.*
*His right saber was all but gone. During the crash, Andor had lost his grip on it and it had escaped him. It could be anywhere in this storm, but probably not that far away. His left lightsaber was still in his grasp deactivated, his mechanical hand not releasing it.*
*He tried to focus, tried to gather the pain that was so strongly overwhelming him and to turn it into a weapon. But he couldn’t. He reached out to try to sense if Gavin was dead or alive, but his daggers stabbed his mind when he tried. Recoiling from his mental pain like an injured animal, Andor waited.*
*Only time would tell if Gavin had survived a bisection from his lightsaber.*
*Tick Tock.

*Gavin had been aware of Andor's reverse grip upon his saber. It was yet another reason Gavin moved as fast as he did, not taking a moment to truly lock his arms down. However, he didn't expect Andor to respond so well. There was no time to respond to plan for a counter or block and all his Force reserves had been spent in that one moment.
Luckily the impact of the repulse, the forcing pushing them so suddenly would have been enough to alter Andor's hold on the saber, not much but just enough to avoid being cut through. He felt the burn across his back, though had little time for it to process as he flew back, slamming and rolling across the ground. It took a few moments before he could respond, making only the slightest movements. His body ached all over, making movements difficult.
He wasn't sure who had received the most damage so far. All he knew was of the small burn of the blaster bolt, the burst of lightning that was sent through him, his aching and exhausted body from his own attack and power usage, not to mention the newest wound, the burn mark running the length of his back where the saber had been prior. It hadn't gone through or made it to any of the bones, but it had burnt through the upper layer of skin easily enough. Had it been a normal blade, he would have easily been bleeding pretty good. His vest had been cut open along the cut, revealing the unburnt patch of smooth reptile-like scales on his back between his shoulder blades.
As the rain poured down upon him, it felt like heavy needles across his weakened form. Still he raised his head, uncertain of what became of Andor. Just in front of him he noticed one of his sabers that he had used earlier laying just within his reach. Deepstrike, the crimson bladed saber was there, giving him an ability to defend himself if Andor was able to carry on the fight. Slowly, he reached out to the hilt, his body screaming as he did so. He was still alive, reason enough to keep going if he had to. It would be his will alone that gave him power to fight. Finally reaching the hilt, he grasped it in his hands as he began to force himself to his feet.
He grunted, his mind trying to break free the restraints of pain that held his body down, though his mind was feeling it too. It seemed like an hour to him before he finally made it to his knees. He couldn't push himself farther. He had to focus himself, gather what he could of the Force, of his strength, and his resolve. With heavy breaths he looked out from the direction he came, wondering about Andor's fate.*

Unknowing to Gavin, Andor's lightsaber was also biocoded, preventing anyone other than Andor from wielding it. Andor's master, Lord Phantom, had specifically instructed him to equip his lightsabers with these features to prevent opponents from taking advantage of them. Gavin would have to learn the hard way.*
*Andor's body shuddered as he tried to get up, keeping his weight primarily supported with his left leg and arm. Pain shot through his ribs and his head throbbed uncontrollably. He sat there, kneeling on his left leg, his left arm placed on the ground, his closed fist supporting his weight. His right arm hung limply at his side. It looked like it was grotesquely pushed forward, his shoulder jutting out past his chest, and his right leg trailed behind him, his knee and upper leg taking the weight.*
*The Dark Lord did not know the extent of the damage to his right ankle, but he knew it kriffing hurt. He could try to stand and see if it could support him..... No. Not yet.*
*He knelt in the wet grass, his head lowered, keeping the rain out of his eyes. He breathing was beginning to stabilize, but he knew if he moved he would be rattled with pain. His mind opened to the Darkside once more. The connection was weak, but his pain fueled him onwards. He needed to know Gavin's fate.*
*Andor slowly stood up on his left leg, making a conscious effort to keep his right leg bent like a flamingo. The rain battered him and he was still unable to see through the torrential downpour. Andor's leg shook with weariness and he had to hold out his left arm to keep himself balanced, his ribs electrocuting him with every breath, and every contraction of his gut in an attempt to balance himself.*
*He drew on this pain as he fueled himself. The growing connection to the force finally allowed Andor to sense Gavin's presence. He was alive and to his left. Andor turned on his left leg, placed his right foot lightly on the ground and limped forward. His right foot nearly gave out and Andor gave a gasp of pain, but maintained his balance. He stepped on his left leg and stopped. He had to go slow. Even then, his right ankle couldn't bear much without suffering more damage. He would have to be strategic in the remains of the battle. His mobility was severely limited.*
*He stood still, his senses trained on Gavin. He took a breath as he waited.

*it hadn't been Andor's saber Gavin landed next to, but his own. It seemed to be nothing more than luck that he land where they had when Andor's attack sent both of his sabers flying. The second saber had to be nearby but he wasn't going to spend time searching for it. Opening his grip, he looked at the black chrome hilt, the accents of crimson that gave it detail almost as if he applied blood to it during its creation. Both Deepstrike and its twin, Blockade, were by far his oldest sabers. When he created them, any saber he carried before where either destroyed or dismantled. Even now, so many years later they served him well.
He he tightened his grip upon the saber once more before looking out in front of him again. His breath and calmed down, but was still focused and deep. The pain hadn't subsided, nor would it for a while. He used it, and with the small time spent focusing, he gathered a bit of the Force back, but only enough to sense his surroundings. With it, he could sense Andor, alive and still active. The battle had yet to be resolved.
Forcing himself to his feet, his body felt like it was creaking under the pressure, ready to give at any time. Despite this, he pushed forward, he steps slow and dragging. His arms were hanging at his side, the saber still unignited. As he went, words played out in his mind, words that brought a small smile to his face. He began to speak them aloud, though due to the heavy rain and the fact Gavin was speaking to himself, Andor wouldn't have heard.*
"Doubt is absolved by Knowledge Knowledge leads to Passion Passion leads to Pursuit Through our Pursuit we gain vision Through our vison we find balance Balance will bring us control control grants us power
We are born by the light and baptised in the darkness we tread a shadowy path between day and night We are Dark Jedi, this is our creed."
*Of all the codes, he believed in this one. It held truth more than the rest to him. It was what gave him strength. Even now, he helped pushed him forward. It brought memories of his battle with Raziel. They had fought so hard and so long that they whittled each other down to nothing. In the end, their bodies had turned to jelly, the fight ending with their remaining strength that resulted in them head butting each other. It was the hardest fight he fought. His body had yet to see that limit today. Despite the pain, his muscles still had some strength. More than enough to continue on.
His steps had become better, no longer dragging though just as slow. As he moved closer, h saw Andor's shape through the rain. A few feet more and they'd be close enough to fight again. His crimson blade came to life as he stopped, only a couple feet away. He looked at Andor's form standing in front of him. He was beaten badly, though only the broken right arm seemed really apparent. In the end, if the fight went on, most likely, they wouldn't be moving from their location, simply battling in place, seeking an opening. And due to their conditions, they'd probably only be able to focus either directly on speed or power. Switching between the two would be unkind to them.
As the rain fell, Gavin called out to him.* "Do you really wish to continue this battle?"

Gavin's voice was faint among the noise of the rain, but it was understandable. He was just out of reach from an attack of a lightsaber, and he seemed to be in a better condition than Andor. Somehow, he had escaped Andor's blade during the blade and seemed to be unharmed. But with the extremely low visibility, Andor knew his eyes weren't reliable.
"You are worthy of serving the Empire. You have proven to me as much. But however, I'm afraid there's been a change in plans."
As he spoke, the last of iron filled his mouth. Andor spit it out, the crimson liquid immediately diluting with the rain. It seemed that there must be some internal bleeding and the Sith Lord did not have the time to assess its severity. It was time to end this, once and for all.*
*His power was slowly growing, the pain of his injuries giving him power. Andor's eyebrow merely twitched (which would hopefully be covered by the rain) and a wave of telekinetic energy shot at Gavin in the form of a force push, aimed for his stomach. The push was precise, focused to a small point about two fingers wide as it drove towards Gavin's abdominal area. With such compact power hitting a small surface area, the extent of damage would be higher than a normal, more spread out Force push. The attack was not strong enough to be lethal, but Andor hoped to knock the breath out of his opponent, damage some ribs, cause some internal bleeding and force his opponent to take a few steps back.*
*As the power left his body, the Sith visibly wilted, his back hunching over, his left leg quivering as it was able to barely keep him standing. It was like walking a tightrope and he was about to fall.

*Gavin sensed the sudden release of the Force, yet there was little he could do to counter or truly evade it. All he could manage was a quick movement to the side, his right side which revealed itself to be the instinctual direction he'd go if unable to properly think through the attack. In this case, it would probably been better to not move at all. It was barely half a step before he felt the impact. It collided with the area around his stomach. Being on the one side forced him back in a counter clockwise spin, while its placement also caused his legs to fly back up over him.
Flying a few feet back, he made two full rotations in the spin, though his flip was only half finished when he collided with the ground. His right wrist and arm hit first, sending a shock wave of pain through his arm as he landed completely and rolled over himself from the momentum of his spin, landing him on his back. The ribs were missed, but the impact at his stomach brought some of its contents pouring from his mouth in a few coughs, mixing with blood. His breaths were rough as the impact knocked the wind out of him. His arm, while not broken, had been cracked he was sure. If he tried fighting with that arm, and solid blocks or attacks with break it completely.
It took a minute to catch his breath, spitting out the rain water that made its way into his mouth. Rolling over, his eyes looked to where Andor should have been. The impact caused him to lose his saber. However, at this point, it was no longer a battle of strength and skills or ability in the Force. It was all about will and resolve. Gavin was never one to simply acknowledge defeat. He was too proud as a warrior. He had to be killed or rendered unconscious. Nothing else would satisfy him. It was foolish pride, but a man had to have pride in something. He was a warrior through and through. Slowly, he forced himself back to his feet, much harder than before. His legs shook beneath him and he stumbled a few feet forward towards Andor, almost falling over. Even still, his eyes were heavy, almost completely exhausted, his breaths were heavy as well. His legs shook as they angled in slightly to hold him up.
It didn't seem either was capable of going on, both ready to fall at the same time. And if that's what it came to, then so be it. He didn't expect an easy battle against Andor, and in truth, he hadn't felt so alive in a very long time.*

Andor couldn't take it anymore. As his Force Push hit, Gavin's body went flying backwards. Andor had not intended for it to be that strong, but due to the Sith Lord's fatigue, it seemed his control of his own power was faltering. He was pushed far past his reserves, his pain intensifying with every second.*
*The Sith lowered his right foot, trying to balance himself against the fatigue. He collapsed. His body hit hard on the wet ground as he fell to his right, not able to support himself with the fractured ankle. Andor laid on his back, his left hand underneath him resting against his lower back, his right arm awkwardly (and abnormally) stretched to his right. His legs were bent at the knee, shoulder-width apart. Andor was motionless, his breaths slow but uneven. His eyes were closed and the pain that dominated his body slowly began to fade away as unconsciousness began to slips its fingers into Andor's mind. Blackness appeared on the edges of his vision, slowly expanding. He looked up at saw Gavin stumbling closer, his body beginning to blur.*
*His left hand (hidden beneath him) touched something cool.... The round ball which was the thermal detonator. It must have fallen out its pouch as he fell. His mechanical hand gripped it and his thumb triggered the activation button.*
*Ten seconds.*
*The ticking of the thermal detonator was drowned out by the noise of the storm as the Sith Lord called out, hoping Gavin would hear him through the claps of thunder and the howl of the wind. "You have bested me, Gavin Phoenix. I've changed my mind. You may come with me to Kuat. Come. Help me up and let us leave."
His left hand released the thermal detonator, keeping it hidden beneath his body. His left hand raised into the air, an indication for Gavin to come help him. Andor was powerless and weak, his arm visibly shaking in the air. All Gavin would be able to sense was pain, and thus, hopefully wouldn't be able to sense Andor's deceptive intentions.
*Five seconds remained as Gavin would or would not approach. Should he help Andor, the bomb would detonate, killing both combatants. If Gavin decided to walk away, the Grand Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire would be defeated.

*Gavin was a near five feet away where he stopped, still trying to keep himself upright. He couldn't hear Andor's words, but saw his hand raise up towards him. The way he held it seemed to be in the way of asking for help. This was curious considering that Andor had the set mind to kill him. But he guessed Andor realized as well that neither of them were in a state to keep fighting, unconsciousness waiting for them before death.
While Gavin didn't trust Andor, he respected him as a warrior and would help him. However, when he tried to step forward, his knees began to give out and he started falling back. Determined to stay standing, for he was prideful as such, he did what he could to stay on his feet. As he did, he stumbled back about seven feet before falling back, his right side first. The momentum he gained sent him hard on his arm and his side, which rolled him back a couple feet. The impact cracked his right arm further and he wondered if it had shattered. Getting up again would take a minute or so. He was now on the ground 14 feet away, while on the edge, still within range of the average blast radius. If Gavin had turned and walked away, five seconds would not have been enough to get away as he'd be too slow.
It seemed, no matter the approach, neither would end up escaping the blast.*

Andor's hopes fell as Gavin lost his balance and fell backwards, away from the thermal detonator. He watched as Gavin's body crashed into the ground. A second before the bomb went off, Andor rolled to his right amid a series of sharp gasps of pain, to uncover the bomb, so that it's blast radius wouldn't be hindered. A normal thermal detonator had the blast radius of approximately five to six meters, which when converted to feet, was about sixteen to twenty feet. Although Gavin had fallen backwards and lay motionless about fourteen feet away, he was still within the target distance of the explosive, and therefore still subject to its deadly attack.*
*The depths of Chaos were calling. Andor could feel it reaching out to him, grasping its gruesome talons on his shoulder, dragging him down into the deep void of the Netherworld. He had escaped the call so many times before, but not this time. His time had run out. The clock no longer ticked. The clock struck midnight, going out with one final ring.*
*A bolt of lightning dropped from the sky, stabbing into the ground not far from their location. The crack of thunder was so deafening that it drowned out the sound of the following explosion.*
*There was a flash of red and orange light as the Sith Lord was engulfed in fire. The concussive force of the explosion sent Andor's body flying feet backwards. He landed in a ball of flame: a hunk of burning cloth and flesh. He lay motionless as the fire consumed his body. It spread from the tattered remnants of his crimson cloak to eat away at his chest, his arms, his face, his hair. The plume of smoke spiraled into the air as the rain finally began to subside, the black clouds overhead dissipating into the air, revealing a baby blue sky beneath it. The smoke was rank with the scent of burnt flesh, creating a strong contrast with the change in weather as the sun finally poked out from behind the clouds, casting warm rays of sun onto the Sith's pale face.*
*His eyes, which were black as pitch, stared lifelessly into the sky. Slowly, the flames crept forward, their scorching tongues reflecting off the Sith's eyes until they too were burnt to a smoldering crisp.*
*Darth Andor, Dark Lord of the Sith, Grand Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire, and a remaining Lord of Dark Tide was dead.

*Gavin was already looking looking towards Andor as the blast emerged. Was was quick in that moment to get to his knees, though that's where he stopped. Could he have pushed himself the rest of the way and jumped back in time to be free of the blast? Probably. But no, he stayed in that position as time seemed to slow around him. The bolt of lightning came down in a brilliant flash. Shortly after, the rain came to a halt and the clouds broke apart quickly, letting the sun shine through. He looked up to the blue sky and closed his eyes, a smile present on his face.
It had been a long time coming, his death. He hoped that this time he wouldn't be deprived of it. Twice had he returned from the Abyss and another he was kept alive even when he started to fade. After everything, perhaps he could finally join his family. And above all, he could go out like the warrior he was. Fighting until the end in a death he felt worthy. He had pushed his opponent to the end so much that such a final attack was needed. It proved his strength and resolve. He could then pass on, happy in those final moments.*
"Finally, I can go home and see you all again."
*With those final words, everything seemed to return to its flow as the blast spread, consuming in as it passed. He let himself go, his spirit leaving the flesh as his body flew through the air, burning as it hit the ground a little ways away. There were no screams of pain, no attempts to go on. Time had finally found its end for Gavin and he deemed it good.*

Very interesting read, Gentlemen. Both of you did an excellent job taking fatigue into account after your various large expenditures of energy, and the duel as a whole was a fun one to read. That said, I'll get on to the meat of the judgement. Gavin: You did well writing the physical portions of the combat and seemed to control the pace of the battle later on once the storm hit, but several of your evasions were on the far side of legitimate, largely due to how they were written. The first of these was when you performed a palm strike, which to my knowledge is only ever performed as a straight, forward moving blow, then avoided Andor's grab at your arm by saying that your forward momentum moved your arm downward and out of the way (a straight jab has no downward momentum). The second was not long after, when you were moving toward Andor to get beneath his arm and behind him, he backflipped and kicked at your chin, and suddenly you state that you'd been moving back all along (with no written reversal of direction). Both of these evasions could have been completely legitimate if written in a way that made sense with the rest of what was going on, but as they are the avoidance's are iffy at best due to the lack of cohesion when taking into account the previous posts. Another, and larger, strike against you is the hit you called in the post at the top of this page, striking Andor with a force push without allowing him a chance to defend against it. That's a huge don't in written combat, and you should always include "if" statements in actions like that to provide room for your opponent to respond. All in all, you have the potential to be a great duelist, and you just need to work on your phrasing (to avoid accidentally calling hits) and your cohesion and positioning relative to your prior posts. I apologize if this seems all negative, but the simple fact that you were able to write such an entertaining fight is strong evidence in favor your capabilities. They just need some refinement (which I would be more than happy to help you with if you want. Just shoot me a PM). Andor: As usual, you managed to take the most damage in spite of being equally matched. Congrats. You wrote your actions and abilities well, and it was easy to picture what was going on in relation to your character. It's always a joy to read your duels because it's easy to tell that you write for the writing's sake, rather than for the sake of winning, and that's not something you see often in an arena setting. Hell, I've never been able to pull it off myself, and I have great respect for you and your ability to do so. Though I still think you take more damage than you need to... Due to the issues mentioned above, as well as the back and forth leaving both duelists more or less equally matched and Andor getting the killing blow (albeit one that ended his own life as well), I'm going to give the win to Andor.
