So back in the 1.5 days an idea was spawned that basically entailed a bad-guy faction (spearheaded by the Second Imperium, my old Sith faction, but open to all bad guys regardless of Force Sensitivity) undertaking a series of big operations that were designed to all build up forces and materiel in a variety of different story arcs that were self-contained and having subplots of their own, but that were a part of a big branching story that ultimately led to bad guys building (or trying to build, and use) some superweapon or Eclipse-type battleship. There's intrigue involved, but with plenty of room for giant battles, one-on-one fights, dueling egos, civil disputes, you name it. Basically we lay out a big story frame that has an overall objective but participants fill it with whatever they want. Wanna develop a rivalry with someone on the other side? Go for it. Start a piss fight with a dude on your own side? Word. Romantic interest? Sure. Battle with personal demons? For sure.
What I'd like to do is gauge interest in something like this and begin putting together a list of folks who'd be interested. Really there are going to be two main sides to the conflict (i.e., good guys and bad guys) and both will be doing plenty in between major conflicts for any character type to shine. Smugglers? Right on. Healers? We've got room. Blacksmith? Why not. Pick a role and we'll stuff it in somehow. That ranges from major players to small roles to cameos, to whatever you want to make this great.
I'd like to make this a big thing and we've already got a few old-school folks who want in. Anybody who's got a spare character or who wants to just have some fun with this, feel free, but let's make this awesome.
Post your interest here, or any ideas for big RPs you've got. Questions, etc. Let's hear it.

Mike will definitely return from his long standing bar hopping adventure for this. I won't be doing any super battle stuff like controlling a billion soldiers and ships, but Mike himself, definitely be around for fun and drinks.

I should point out that this will, by and large, be a "closed RP" in the sense that ridiculously large forces and overpowered characters will be a common occurrence. All are welcome, this is just to make it so we can do...pretty uch whatever we want. Story-driven interaction is the goal here, and with the caveat of having some semblance of a sequence of events from the get-go we get to do a lot of cool things that the normal rules won't let us do.

I'm in, although I haven't the foggiest which side Altus will be on. And by all means, a third, fourth, fifth, etc. side can totally exist. The main idea here is that a group of folks want to wreak havoc through various means and that there exists a group to stop them, but secondary and tertiary interests can always arise. Maybe your character has nothing to do with the main SL but still finds reason to get involved. up to you. |

I'll absolutely be participating, though I'm not sure which character to use yet. If the scales seem equal I'll use Faust, here, and if the Bad Guy list starts to get too much longer than the Good Guys, I'll use either Miras or Ishmael to even things out.

Im up for fleet battles, ground battles, duels, whatever's going.
We can do silly (early 1.0 silly) or serious. I'm just looking for some decent fights.
I only really have one request, and that is as part of this I want to do an RP where I get to fire Centerpoint Station at something.
Could really be on either side. Maybe both at different stages. Helping to supply and build the baddies superweapon, then deciding it would look better in pieces, something like that.
I'll help wherever needed to get the RP going.

I am definitely down for this and will probably play a large role on multiple sides of this thing. Definitely looking to have Cath involved in this, as well as my Jedi Knight, Sihnyad. Hell, might even be a good place to have the Order of Ruin reveal itself. That'd make for a minimum of 4 characters contributed by me.
