My character's all primed for a turn to the dark side, between her incomplete Jedi training, her anger over her master's death, her fear of succumbing to the fatal illness that runs in her family, and the fact that she's in possession of an ancient Sith holocron. Any First Order Force-users want to take her under your wing?

Hello, galaxy! The Knights of Ren are here! And with that, we're ready to wreak havoc. As soon as the First Order is formally established and ready to roll, that is. That said, if there's anyone looking to hook up with the Knights, feel free to hit one of us up here or in PM. Giannah, I would be happy to work with you as well, if you're interested, unless you'd prefer a more traditional Sith.  Seeing as the Knights of Ren are barely touched upon in canon, even in the new movie, and all we're aware of is that they're dark side practitioners that utilize the surname "Ren" in a similar manner as the Sith "Darth," so I took it upon myself to improvise, to "JvSify" them, if you will. Seeing as we don't have the canon history on JvS for them, it's pretty much fair. It still needs a bit of polish, but this is my rough draft for their philosophy: We will be an independent organization technically, but we serve as a loyal ally to the First Order. Like I said, if anyone's interested, feel free to contact one of us Knights, whether here or in PM!

I am still working on fleshing out Nanda's bio completely, but she is an Imperial Navy Captain in command of a single Attack Line's worth of ships (Including an Immobilizer 418 Cruiser) who used to serve the Imperial Remnant and is now looking to pledge her loyalty to the First Order. Beyond the ships in her command she also has two whole battalions (1600) of seasoned, veteran Stormtroopers under her command as well as two platoons of Storm Commandos (100). Once I have her mostly fleshed out I'll have her bring her fleet to Muunilist to join the First Order in-character.

I've decided to have Sav hate the Knights of Ren. I like the description of them noted above and what they are about, but with Sav being a more traditional Sith, as well as learning to become an Imperialist, he's gonna dislike the Knights of Ren a lot. My character respects power, inducing fear and utilizing a show of force as well as and one's ability to wield it effectively, regardless of how brutally it is done. Although the more brutally wielded, the better in his opinion. Fear and force motivates my character along, and while the Knights seem to be skilled warriors, or at least eluded to being as such in the film, they lack the true fear inducing and awe-inspiring force of a true Sith such as Vader or Palpatine. Even Tyrannus was more of a badass than Kylo Ren is, at least up until this point. All just my opinion, but Sav will remain loyal to the First Order, he's just not a fan of the Knights of Ren.

I'm not entirely sure what's not "fear-inducing" about a live execution of your enemy's leader, but you do you. I'm sure this will be an interesting rivalry.

Haha, now I'm catching playful backlash from me openly hating on the Knights of Ren! LOL
I have no actual issues with the Knights of Ren. They seem to be a nice, refreshing addition to the disciples of the dark side. While the Sith are seriously badass, they tend to become fairly predictable in their motives and actions. Whereas the Knights of Ren seem to be driven by different motives and actions, making them a might bit more unpredictable. The Knights were barely touched on in The Force Awakens, I do agree with that. But if Kylo is their leader, I'm very unimpressed. But that is just my personal opinion. He wasn't a very intimidating bad guy, and that's my biggest issue with him. Perhaps Kylo will become the second most iconic badass in his own way, but for now I am unimpressed. He has potential though, so I look forward, with an open mind, to what he could become in the next movie.
All in all, if you can write well as a faction within the galaxy that has hardly any canon information about them, then you have earned my respect. I am merely trying to keep things interesting IC with Viox and the minions of the First Order. Keeps things exciting and new, which is what we certainly can use a lot more of around here.

It's very fear inducing, I will not disagree. I, however, have been away from the site since I started working, checking in occasionally. Now I need to pour myself a drink and do some reading in order to be brought back up to speed. I imagine that Sav and Soku would actually get along quite nicely. And eventually I could see Sav becoming more tolerant of the Knights of Ren. However, being a Sith with an 'I'm more superior than all other dark side users' attitude, it may take some time for Sav to get along with all the Knights of Ren. |

it's just playful banter Viox, don't take it too seriously. Think of it as an extension of our rivalry IC taking some OOC fun I mean, from what I can tell, none of the Knights of Ren like the Sith either (or the Jedi for that matter), and we already know the Sith aint going to like us much either. Just hate on us for the right reasons (like Viox being a snob)  We're going to do our best to take what little info we got from the movies, and make it into our own thing. also, like Soku said, might want to cover up those spoiler's. nevermind.... |

I don't really take anything here too seriously when it comes to OCC banter back and forth. I'm simply poking fun back. And our rivalry shall make for some very interesting RP scenarios, especially since Viox is both a Sith and the First Order's High Admiral. It gives me the chance to be the evil bastard I had always been, with a few perks. Like more authority and power IC. LOL! I did cover up the spoilers  |
