Nicademus nods to his Stormtroopers, who turn on their heels and march out of the office. Leaving the Emperor with Xeonon and his Praetorian Guard. Once the last of the Stormtroopers departed and the door shut, Nicademus turns his gaze to Xeonon.
You can drop the act now, Xeonon. You would be captured like this if you needed to talk to me.
The Emperor exhales deeply, shaking his head. Xeonon would not have been captured so easily in the end after all. This was the most veteran of Imperial Knights, the man who witnessed its rebirth under Cade Fel and saw it be rebuilt. The man who led the Imperial Knights when Nicademus was Supreme Commander of the Deep Core Remnant. The very same Solomon who presented Muunilinst on a gold plate. If he had truly resisted, he would have gone down fighting and certainly done something to Harnan, who somehow got out of this encounter with a scratch. Yes, Xeonon came here for a reason and it was best to hear that reason sooner than later.[/font
Whatever happened to your little group with Hevn though?
Xeonon had come alone and without any allies. It was rather strange to consider.

Waiting for the Stormtroopers to leave Xeonon couldn't help but look at the guards that remained. Clearly the idea was stolen from a mixture of both the Imperial Bodyguards and the Imperial Knights. Together they formed something greater. Sure the Imperial Knights swore an oath to the Emperor to serve him so long as he served the light. These though were different. They served the man no matter what. They would lay down their lives for Nicademus, and should he fall before them ; avenge him.
Like other Dark Jedi before him they floated off into the wind. No doubt he is hatching some scheme with his new apprentice.
In truth Hevn had wanted to strike out at two more planets. Kuat and Aaragu. The latter of which had been Xeonons home for the majority of his life. Upon learning that Xeonon had left their side and struck out on his own. With his identity revealed he had to operate from the fringes though. They had tempted him to join into his crusade, but from the start Xeonon had played Hevn and his allies.
By the way, I got onto Aarguu fairly easily you may want to find a way to beef up security there in the near future. In case Hevn shows back up.
Assuming it was safe now Xeonon reached out with the force and shattered the chains binding his wrists. As the metal clanked to the ground he rubbed the circulation back into his wrists. They really should have locked him in something to keep him from reaching out in the force; if he had been a real killer Nicademus may not be standing.
I came because I believed my capture and proper sentencing would further prove to the galaxy you are not the Empires from before. That the First Order is here to bring back peace and justice to the galaxy. Plus my operating within the First Order instead of outside it will be better in the long run

Nicademus's eyebrow went up slightly at the proposition made by Xeonon.
Then it seems certain news never reached your ears, Xeonon.
Nicademus turns slightly as one of the Praetorian Knights offers a datapad to the Emperor, through which the Imperial scrolls through some of the files. Once the ones he was searching for where found, he hands to the datapad to Xeonon. It was the reports concerning the events that led up to, happened during and the aftermath of the Raid on Naboo. A great blunder made by the previous candidate for Director of Imperial Intelligence. In it, the files detailed how the raid turned into absolute carnage for the planet of Naboo; a bombardment of Theed Palace, Stormtroopers massacring neighborhoods and even the presence of chemical weapons.
The aftermath detailed a rather grim report. The First Order denounced to their people the usage of chemical warfare with the commander of the raiding force, the very same candidate mentioned before, being executed on the spot, within the then Supreme Commander's office, by firing squad, for his crimes against the First Order and attempting to humiliate the now Emperor before members of High Command.
We are already moving in that direction, Xeonon. If you want, you should examine the speech made after the war was ended and the Empire was proclaimed. I hear its still being re-run on planets with strong Imperial ties.
Planets such as Bastion which had served as the capital of the Old Imperial Remnant and the Fel Empire afterward. It was speech examined and dissected by Imperial historians so that future generations may understand its purpose and its message, not only plainly, but the hidden phrases that lied beneath what was said. Nicademus never expected such things, but then again, the male had revitalized the Imperialist cause and done much to revolutionize it.
There is another sign of how we are not the Empire of old.
Nicademus turns lightly to the right, a veil, enforced by the powers of his Praetorian Guard, seemingly fading away to reveal two strong presences somewhere beyond the sight of Xeonon and Nicademus. Two small offspring, that held a strong connection with the Force, thanks to their mother, the Empress. The Emperor turns his gaze back to Xeonon.
A new dynasty... to succeed where the Fels ended and continue my legacy when I am gone. One of whom, the Crown Prince Octavian Delvardus, will begin his education with the Imperial Knights when he is ten years old. To revive the old ways and the ways that will ensure the Imperial Knights remain integral to the First Order.
With those words said, Nicademus would rub his chin, considering what was said by Xeonon involving an execution and trial. It seemed that he desired to end the book on his story as a traitor of the First Order, but still be a part of his ranks. With that thought in mind, the Emperor could tell that Xeo desired for the execution and trial to be involved with a double while the true person remained in the presence of the First Order.
All can be arranged to put an end to your... living reputation. You won't be able to return to the Imperial Knights, but I can find you a place with my Praetorian Guard. A mask and a vow of silence will certainly keep your true fate a top military secret.

Accepting the datapad Xeonon scrolled through the report as Nicademus spoke. Skipping over most of the words after the first few paragraphs Xeonon instead looked for pictures taken, footage from the events and the names of the people involved. It was one thing to see carnage on a battlefield with people who can fight back, who can defend themselves. When innocents were murdered it was not only a travesty it was bad press. Its hard to convince the galaxy that you are in fact the good guys when there is evidence like this showing the atrocities committed. He was glad to see the end of the report ended with the man in a very similar position to Xeonon now. Except he would be leaving here alive.
I wont lie to you, I have never actually seen the holos of it but from what I heard it was very moving. Im sure in the days and months to come I will have some time to sit down and pour over all the events both public and not.
Xeonon was actually at a loss for words. This was something that he had not heard about and he took a few seconds to digest it before a big grin spread across his face as he held out his hand to shake Nicademus's.
I guess congratulations are in order! I feel a second presence as well, what is to happen to the sibling of the Crown Prince?
At once Xeonon felt sheepish, he had been used to operating on his own from the outside. Most people who work beyond the arm of th law either spoke cryptically or candidly. It was a habit that had creeped into his own mannerisms. It was not his place to question his leader no matter how far back the two of them went.
Forgive me, I am just glad to hear that he will be trained by some of the greatest men and women alive. It will be hard for him to some day step into his fathers shoes and create a new dynasty but if anyone can do it, it would be a Delvaradus.
As always it was back to business, deep down he knew he would not be able to return to the Imperial Knights. To hear someone else say it though was like a punch to the stomach and for the first time since arriving on the planet Xeonon felt something akin to fear. Squashing that feeling as best he could he nodded his ascent to the man before him before looking down.
I know they are in good hands. Perhaps you or one of their best should be given the task once the trial is done? It is a life time appointment, and I think they would like to remove this particular blemish from their history themselves. The Khommites should still have samples of my genetic code for a defunct version of Stormtroopers you could use.
Looking beyond Nicademus he actually walked over to the Praetorians, turning his back on he Supreme Commander inspecting them for a few minutes. Crossing his arms he thought about the perks of taking this new vow before returning his gaze to his leader.
Its a good idea, it will keep me close by and ensuring you are the safest possible.

The Crown Prince's twin sister is to be trained as a Knight of Ren, to follow the footsteps of her mother.
Illaria had been rather reprehensive towards Octavion's future within the ranks of the Imperial Knights, but Nicademus knew this had to be done. In the future, his son needed to rely more on the support of the Imperial Knights as the Empire became more integrated into the galaxy and solidified its grip over its territories. When those days came and the wars of his reign died off, the Imperial Knights would be integral to the future that awaited his son, a future that Nicademus was working hard to lay the foundations for. For with their support, Octavion's reign would be stable and without question.
Your execution will be handled, either, by myself personally or the Grandmaster of the Imperial Knights, Faina Nikulin. Someone you should remember from our days in the Deep Core. She has proven herself worthy of the position and has never let me down. Either one would make a powerful enough statement to the whole of the Empire.
That was a matter best spoken about and determined at another time and date. There was still the trial to do and a clone to create in order to make the galaxy think you are dead... so that you are reborn as a member of the Praetorian Guard.
Xeonon was far too valuable to truly end his life, all to satisfy the sentiment within the First Order. Yet to keep him within his ranks, if word was learned, Nicademus could be discredited and lose support. It was a risk worth taking. With Xeonon, among the Praetorians, and Faina leading the Imperial Knights, there was a great hope for the First Order and the future reign of Octavion, when those days came.
Then renew your oath, Xeonon. Kneel before me as the Solomon you were before and rise as the new man you were destined to be.

Although Xeonon knew to expect it it still irked him to hear Nicademus say his daughter would grow up to join the ranks of the Knights of Ren. As a leader he knew that he should not show a preference to one group over another. Especially when that group was a useful tool that helped spread the Imperial vision through the galaxy in the years following the fall of the original Empire. Hopefully the girl grew up to have the same backbone as her father and was able to stave off the call of the darkside.
Kneeling Xeonon looked into the face of Delvaradus
I Xeonon, of house Solomon adopted son of Gabriel Solomon do swear to you in the presence of those here and to you Nicademus Delvaradus the Fourth that from this hour forth I shall be faithful to you with regards to your life, and the members of your body. I swear to be faithful to the First Order and all states within its boundaries and any successor states he privately thought. I shall make no attempts to seize control from you or your family, nor will anyone working under orders from myself. And I will help you hold, and defend all the things I just mentioned from anyone who would try to do them.
He hoped these words were enough for his old friend. Rising Xeonons gaze never left that of the younger man before him as he awaited his next order.
Sorry about the chains, it makes my leaving here through the front door slightly problematic. Maybe have the Preatorians rough me up and order some cuffs with an electric current be brought to restrain me.

Nicademus remains quiet as Xeonon renews his oath to the Emperor, to the First Order, and, above all, his rightful successor. With Xeonon once more in the services of the Emperor, an asset hidden by a red mask, Nicademus knew his son would be able to rule as an Emperor with the power and authority that Nicademus wielded today. A gesture of his hand and Xeonon was permitted to rise.
I accept your oath, Xeonon Solomon. May you serve me well and loyally as you have done before.
With the suggestion made by Solomon, Nicademus turns and nods to his silent Praetorian Guards.
Rough him up.
The Praetorians didn't even hesitate nor confirm the order of their master. With blind obedience and pure loyalty, they sprung into action, advancing quickly in formation. The Emperor moves away, listening to his guards rough up Xeonon to great extremes. It was only after a few minutes passed that the stamp of the Emperor's boot gave the nonverbal order to stand down. Quickly, the Praetorians move back, forming a circle around Xeonon. Nicademus turns to see the roughened Solomon.
Looks convincing enough.
New electric cuffs were placed on Xeonon's wrists.
Is a clone readily available to be used for your public trial and execution?

No sooner had Xeonon stood up than the Pratoreans were unleashed upon him. They were ruthless, not even pausing for a second. Nicademus putting his foot down couldn't come soon enough. A man can endure lots of punishment when in battle, but when there are five people beating the crap out of you its different.
Feels convincing too
Before he could even rub some of the sore spots the cuffs were slapped on him. Almost as soon as they were on a slight electric current went through his body. Not enough to cause him harm but enough to stop his mind from being able to concentrate on the force. He almost couldnt feel the Force. It was there but just out of reach.
Back before you were in the Deep Core I had my genetic sample given to the cloners theres. Tried to make a better Stormtrooper template. At this he waved his hand The why doesnt matter anymore, but I had one commissioned and ready to be born in the event it might come in useful. He just needs to be shipped here.

Baltasar takes Tasot into the depths of the Imperial Strategic Command and to a highly secure doorway. He hands his credentials to the Stormtroopers and Imperial Knights stationed outside before he was permitted to enter with the Chiss. The Emperor was seen in the middle of the room, examining some digital documents. From afar, it was hard to tell what they were, but they would eventually vanish when Nicademus heard the approaching footsteps of his brother. The Emperor notices the Chiss with the Field Marshal, a gaze that Baltasar noticed.
Your Imperial Majesty, this is Tasot of the Chiss. He says he brings evidence of something... major happening on Csilla.
He moves away, letting Tasot to step forth. The Emperor speaks first.
Something major in Chiss Space? Speak up, Tasot. The First Order has vested interest in its citizens within the territories of the former Ascendancy. If something is gonna happen and you have proof, then I need to know now!

Once again, Tasot stood at full attention while he spoke. As he did, he subtly took in the room around him. It was an impressive space, perhaps a bit too much flair for a Chiss, but quite impressive nonetheless. He refocused his attention on the Emperor following his rather loudly spoken rapture. He was used to reporting to much more soft-spoken individuals who barely ever lost their composure, but he didn’t particularly mind. “We-myself and the Aristocras of the former Chiss Ascendancy, have evidence that the currently appointed Grand Moff, Vlusu’Heas’Cauro is planning a large scale revolt, and would like your assistance in handling this crisis.” He prepared himself for the Emperor’s response. When dealing with humans, he had learned to expect outbursts when they were angered, and he didn’t need to check if the Emperor appeared angry; he very clearly was.

The Emperor's eyebrow goes up slightly. Vlusu... was plotting rebellion against the First Order?
This is a very serious accusation, Tasot. Especially against a Grand Moff of my Empire.
Even Baltasar was surprised by this sudden news. Vlusu had been designated as the Grand Moff of Chiss Space to ensure that region had proper representation. Yet here a member of that society and command structure reported a growing crime against the First Order.
What is your evidence on this matter, Tasot? What makes you truly believe this is going to happen?

Tasot produced a datapad from within his robes detailing all of the findings from the Aristocras investigations. It showed that he had been syphoning huge amounts of Kyber for his own purposes, that he was massing troops in The Redoubt for seemingly no valid reason, that he had been studying the best ways to attack the occasional First Order patrols across the planet, and the effectiveness of the planetary Megamasers that protected the planet on various First Order capital ships. He gave the two of them a moment to review this evidence, before producing a holoprojector that showed the conversation that had occurred between Vlusu and an (unfortunately unknown) individual, as the security camera they had tapped showed the side of the room that Vlusu was on, and, more importantly, the words he said. He stood, waiting for them to finish reviewing the evidence.

Immediately, the Emperor's eyes narrow at the sight of the recording. His right-hand clutches into a tight fist as the recording is paused.
I know that person... Aya Ordinii of the Infinite Imperium. She visited Muunilinst once to form a non-aggression pact with my state during the war.
The Infinite Imperium was involved in this plot and possibly leads it. Vlusu was a confederate by the looks of this holo-recording. She mentions clans and the Assembly though... which means she plans to draw the other Mandalorians into this plot of hers. If she had that kind of influence, the First Order would lose its treaties with Clan Bralor and be forced to fight over Agamar. Nicademus knew the First Order was more than ready to attack the Mandalorian Assembly, but he valued them as allies, when speaking of Clan Bralor, and potential allies with the rest of the clans. The Emperor would need to speak with Faelan on this immediately.
I am aware of her nation, Tasot, and her presence, and the words shared, is enough of a threat.
He looks away from the recording after retrieving the datachip it came on.
You will have the aid of the First Order in this matter, Tasot. I will not let our valued allies and citizens be torn away from us by some diabolic plot! Vlusu must be punished and the Chiss must be saved from the doom that Aya intends to draw them into.

Tasot was glad that the Emperor saw light of the situation they were in. This was supposed to be a time of prosperity, and yet now they found themselves caught in the biggest crisis since the Dark Nest Conflict. Retrieving the holoprojector, as they wouldn’t need it since the recording was in the hands of the Emperor. He then turned his attention to the “how” of dealing with this. “We are glad to have your support in this matter. You should know, the ruling families are with you in this. They want to see Vlusu brought to justice for this, if nothing else then for placing the Chiss People in mortal danger, all on a foolish gamble. Whatever you do, you must not attack Csilla outright. Most of the civilians are with us, and those that aren’t are indifferent to it. But if you were to attack, the Chiss would rally behind Vlusu and Aya as protectors against the “diabolical schemes of the First Order”. What we must do is wait for Vlusu to make a move, then launch a quick strike against his forces.” He brought up a small table on the datapad. “These are the forces we have available. Admittedly, it’s not much, but we were hoping for the First Order to lend troops to our assistance when the time comes.”

Nicademus takes the tablet immediately and begins reviewing the forces at their disposal. It was certainly not to be enough. There would certainly be a lot of neutral persons and parties once the fighting broke out. Tasot would need to convince them otherwise. He understood the words of the Chiss... this needed to be seen as a Chiss self-liberation, with the First Order's presence as a secondary party on the matter. Their support was mostly there because of their vested interest and to add legitimacy to the side of Tasot. But it should not be overwhelming, it needed to be just the right amount of force.
Field Marshal, how many First Order troops are stationed on Csilla?
The garrison is totaled at 15,000 troops, in agreement with the treaty made after the Unknown Region Campaigns.
A small contingent, but Nicademus didn't want to make it seem like the Chiss were occupied.
Tell me, Tasot, how much of a response do you feel is required by the First Order? I know you want this to be seen as a liberation by the Chiss and not another wave of occupational attempts by the Empire. Only you can give me the necessary information I need to send an adequate response to your aid.

Tasot thought over in his head very briefly. He knew that most of Vlusu’s forces had been massed in The Redoubt, and that they would surrender if he was captured or killed. So, the key lay in using a ploy in Csaplar itself. “We need to strike once he has declared independence. The Chiss People know that this will result in an attack by the First Order, so it would be in our best interests for the CEDF to attack first. Civilians will see us as a force of reason trying to stop a madman, and in so doing, will support us. Then, I would say, a number of stormtroopers should be landed without armored support. We know that his forces are concentrated in his tower at the center of the city. You would be seen as helping out the “right side”, this garnering more support from the population.” He then brought up a plan of Csaplar’s defenses. They showed all the planetary and citywide defenses. “The most important parts of getting more troops into the city relies on the shutdown of the citywide shield, the planetary megamasers, and, perhaps most importantly, the large doors that can seal off the entrances into the city. All of these things are controlled from the military complex here. If we can take control of that building, you would be free to land troops in the square just outside his tower. We could join you and assault the complex itself.” He then pointed to Vlusu’s fleet in orbit. “As far as the battle in space is concerned, we need just one Star Destroyer, be it Imperial-I, II, or Resurgent, to tip the balance in our favor. However, that will only come after we take control of the military complex, otherwise the planetary magamasers will shred us to bits.” Finally, he showed a diagram of the spire itself. “An Assault through the front doors is all but impossible. If we did that we would get through, but casualties would be staggering. Instead, I recommend using Rocket Troopers to break in through one of the skylights. Specifically, the one over this part, here, where he receives guests from other planets. They could then make their way to the Spire Security Room, here, and disable the defenses. From there, you should be able to dispatch the soldiers guarding the entrance and make your way deeper into the building. The key will be to get to the very top of the spire, where Heas’ office is. We can then either capture or kill him, though capture would be preferable, and force a surrender. I have loaded a copy of the Csaplar Defensive Plans onto this datachip for your use.” He placed the datachip on the table that was between the 3 of them. “That is the plan the CEDF has come up with. We would like your opinion on it.”

Nicademus glances at his brother, Baltasar, who also contemplated the plan presented by Tasot. It would have to be a liberating action, backed by the First Order, that is how Tasot wanted this to play out on Csilla. The data chip is once more placed within the holoprojector as Nicademus re-reviewed the plan presented by the Chiss commander, examining every detail with his attentive eyes. Once it was done, the Emperor turns to Tasot.
I will deploy the Praetorian, from Nirauan, to aid your plans. With it, a full legion of eight thousand Stormtroopers from the V and VI Legions, 2nd Imperial Division. Overall command of this contingent will belong to General Flavius Suutrar. You will coordinate with the Imperial garrison on the planet.
Nicademus pulls out a datapad, to refresh his memory on who the garrison commander was.
Contact Major Gerald Haufmann at your leisure. He and his garrison force of fifteen thousand men will aid you in your struggle.
Nicademus looks at Tasot. This man had strong connections with the Aristocrats and the Ruling Families. If successful, he would be hailed as a national hero for the Chiss, a double-edged sword that the Emperor could see. This man would need a proper reward to ensure he remained loyal to the cause and did not betray the First Order.
If you are successful, Tasot, we may discuss the formation of an independent Chiss Allied State, as a proper reward for your services to the First Order and to the Chiss people. One that will be under your command and your ruleship. For if you are successful, you be a hero to your people. Is this agreeable with you, commander?

An Independent Chiss State. Now there was something he was not expecting. Though, in truth, it was something that the Chiss had wanted for a while now. Though alliance with the First Order was... mutually beneficial, many Chiss felt that they would be better off in an independent coexistence. There were many variables to consider here, but he felt confident that the Chiss would succeed. They had overcome greater adversity in the thousands of years of their existence. “Yes, Emperor, those arrangements would be agreeable to myself, along with the rest of the Chiss.”

Following the Stormtroopers that had met her Lambda-class shuttle when it landed on the Imperial Strategic Command landing platform, First Order Admiral Ishild Sauer is led into the depths of the facility to the secure location of the Emperor's office. Providing her identification documents to the Stormtroopers and Imperial Knights stationed outside of the office, Ishild waits patiently for them to be authenticated before being led inside to meet with Emperor Delvardus IV.
Pale skinned, whippet thin, and possessed of an imperious air which perfectly compliments her regal features and bearing, Ishild clasps her hands behind her back as she is escorted into the Emperor's office, her icy green eyes quickly taking in the plain and dark interior and the impressive, massive holoscreen that serves as the defining feature of the room before settling on the Emperor himself. Attired in her immaculately maintained grey hued First Order Naval officer's full dress uniform, Ishild removes the command cap while approaching the Emperor, revealing her short blonde hair. Moving with the vigor and vitality of a younger woman, the fifty six year old Shownarri lowers herself to a knee and bows her head as she says in her cool, crisp, and precisely cadenced voice, "My lord Emperor, I have come to personally report that the campaign to take Rendili has succeeded, and the world is now occupied and controlled by the First Order."

When Admiral Sauer had entered the office of the Emperor, Nicademus was present with his brother, Field Marshal Baltasar, and other members of High Command. The few men and women within the presence of the Emperor step to the side as Admiral Sauer approach, giving her a clear line to speak with him. From what she could tell, they were planning something... indicators on the galactic map showed arrows, campaign directions, extending from Taris all the way to eastern edges of the Outer Rim. One of those arrows pointed straight at Mon Calamari, the heartland of the Galactic Alliance.
Nicademus continues to look at the map quietly, finishing up some necessary changes before turning to Baltasar and handing him a data chip.
Excellent work, Admiral Sauer. The First Order commends you on your Rendili campaign.
His gaze turning to the female officer as he spoke. Like Ishild, Nicademus work an Imperial officer uniform, but it was the black fabric uniforms that were the newer issues within the First Order compared to the older and more traditional grey ones. The Emperor raises his fist, causing the others to snap to attention.
Ad Gloriam, Ad Victoriam.
The senior officers state the same phrase, the motto of the First Order, with the Imperial salute. The Emperor continues to look at Sauer.
For your services, Admiral Sauer, consider yourself promoted. I hereby elevate you to Fleet Admiral. Tell me, Fleet Admiral Sauer, is there anything I should know about Rendili? I know it is a vital shipyard within the Core, but... any details I should know before First Order administration takes over?
