For those that are interested. So far we are taking a conversation to the next level. If you want to get involved the time is HOT HOT HOT. Someone will be reaching out to The First Order, and someone will be reaching out to The Rebel Alliance. Let them bid to have a strong army during the upcoming war. I am going to go post in their threads now to weigh if they will agree to any of it. Either way this goes, it's a good start I think. Personally I don't think they will, since they're all a bunch of wimps But then if that goes well I had an idea come from one of our own to start a "conflict" on a planet that is not being used, gives us a chance to all interact in battle together. Prove to the other factions we know what we are doing, and that we have what it takes. Gives us a good in. Suggestions are more than welcome. I just want to see us do whatever we can! Getting off to a good start here! Let's keep it rolling!

It's not about the Size of the Mando’ad in the Fight; it's the size of the Fight in the Mando’ad.

I think the whole had a meeting and ending with the calling of another one to discuss or decide things may have sapped momentum, unfortunately. Meeting RPs tend to kill RP pretty quickly, from what I've witnessed in my time on JvS, unless things are more or less decided OOC and then just made official IC with some summary type post or posts to set the stage for whatever action was decided upon.
I suggest we try and decide here what we would like to do, and then rather than try and RP a meeting of the clans, which would take more time and risk more people losing interest, just do a quick "here's what the clans decided" post and then start writing the things people may be more interested in writing than more meetings ;p
For example, I think the major debate was whether to try and take Agamar and expand, or sit tight and rebuild our homeworld before considering expansion. I think taking Agamar offers more opportunity for Mando writers to write different kinds of stories, from fleet battles to ground battles or individual fights, so that gets my vote. Rebuilding is necessary, and people interested in writing that can always do so if they don't want to be involved, but I also think that rebuilding is something that could be done as more background type writing to more exciting or eventful stories, if that makes sense. I just think that rebuilding does not offer a whole lot in terms of story on its own.
That said, I think the looking to the Imperials and the Rebellion, which we all know is not really officially known as the Rebellion yet ;p, for bidding on Mando help in their wars was pretty much agreed on by all, so I say that we can get those things moving ASAP so that we are situated to get involved in that story when it kicks into gear.
That's just my two cents.

Well the First Order is willing to hear from the Mandos at any time they want. Faelan is already aware of a possible cautious and tense greeting from the Imperials due to Mandalorians ravaging the planet of Muunilist prior to their arrival.
From the point of Hokaar, my alt, we just need to get action going. Its something I did as Nicademus; got people involved and got plenty rolling. Found what everyone was good at and placed them in positions where they could thrive; paired them off with like minded people to help the motivation flow. The actions ranged from military to civil stuff such as rebuilding Muunilist, uniting the Imperial Sector (through mostly a show of force) and the Unknown Regions campaign SL.
As for expansion and what not, we could easily not only just take the planet of Agamar, but there are other former Mandalorian possessions we can consolidate/reach out to. I know of a Mandalorian presence on Onderon prior to Kaine vanishing, could try to get in touch with them. There is also strategic raiding; aiming at worlds with vital supplies in munitions and what not to help rebuild ourselves. Its just a matter of dishing out ideas and seeing the vibe among the players. And think of it like this way; Mandalorians are stuck between the FO and the Jedi/Alliance holdings. Maybe aim into the neighboring regions of the Mid Rim and Expansion Region for possible exploits and SLs.

Nicademus has a pretty decent idea, in that getting a few different types of RPs going allows for more than one place for interested RPers to jump in. The Agamar conquest and possible other world takeovers can be places for people interested in battle RPs to get going. Getting Mandal Motors sorted gives business-minded RPers a place to do their thing, and so on. I say we borrow the First Order's successful model of operation and, as Nicademus said, get a few things rolling so people have options for where and how to just jump in and start writing some Mando-y goodness ;p
Pairing like-minded peeps together is also a good idea to borrow, since it is usually a lot easier to keep interest and momentum when you have others to write with.

Hm? I just wonder if there is any room for a grizzly ol' Mando to pick his helm back up here

The CSA & the area around it (half the Tingel arm board, Belkadan is jedi & Dubrillion is FO) is held by the D'Ordinii Clan & in friendly to all mandos ... though it is a kind of unorthodox take on mando culture. It is a rather large & very solidly imperialized take on Mandos. I have been puttering along out there (mostly by myself) for pretty much the entire run of 2.0 so far, so it counts as historically Mando territory by this point. XD
