As the dust settled, sparks crackled along the tube. And then the glass shattered and the liquid inside spilled all over the floor. The once suspended body slid out with the fluid. Electrodes and tubes popping off or snapping. With a sudden gasp of air, the entirely naked black and blue Zabrak rose to his feet. Arms raised high, looking to the ceiling of the cavern far above. The long ponytail of hair was stuck to the wet flesh that was now housing its rightful owner, Xander Savage. Xander spoke. His voice cracked as he did so, but he still pushed forward.
"At last! This stagnant air fills my ravaged lungs! I am no longer just a disembodied essence. I am complete."
Flexing and stretching, Xander surveyed the room, milky white pupils taking everything in as if seeing it for the first time. His eyes darted across the prone form of Venom and the crouched form of his apprentice, Valafar. Xander began to laugh, maniacally this time.
"I am once again whole, thanks to you, apprentice. Unfortunately I do not intend to keep you alive for much longer. For I intend to break in my new body was quickly as possible. There are so many things I must re-educate myself with..."
A sly grin crossed the Zabrak's face as his eyes darted over to the shattered display case near the inactive droids. Xander, taking a few unsteady steps forward, finally found his natural rhythm by the time he made it over to the case. He sifted through the glass and pulled out a metal forearm bracer with a long double-saber hilt attached to it. He slid the bracer onto his arm. Once in the correct position the bracer locked onto his arm. He winced as it did so, but continued to retrieve the other one. Following the same procedure, the second bracer locked down onto his other arm. He cringed as small rivulets of blood ran down his arm. He glanced over at Valafar, who was still trying to rouse Venom.
"Take your time. I am not in a rush to get started. And I would prefer if both of you were awake and fully aware of what I will do to you. Please don't deprive me of the satisfaction..."
Xander grinned again as he walked over to a overturned metal case. With a flick of his wrist, the case broke open, revealing a pair of combat fatigues and a rich, red velvet cloak. Xander pulled the fatigues on, buttoning them up at the waist. He then picked up the cloak and walked back over to the remains of the tank. He hung the cloak on a bent pipe hanging down. He then turned to face Valafar once more.
"What, Nexu got your tongue? Come on boy, speak to your master. After all, you devoted many years of your life to my service. The least you could do is face me and look me in the eyes when I talk to you."
Xander, of course, was toying with Valafar. He did wish to thank the boy, but he was also enjoying making his apprentice, or possible former apprentice wriggle with discomfort. Of course, if Valafar was to continue to be stubborn, Xander might just lose his patience and resort to exercising his Force based abilities...

Valafar watched as Xander was getting use to his new body. Valafar still trying to wake his clan brother, while listening to his former master. The words that Xander spoke were of course to cause him discomfort, but Valafar had learned a few things while inside of his mind. Valafar knew that once he reveals this Xander would go from playfully trying to kill him to a more serious type of trying to kill him, but it might give both Venom and himself a chance to escape while he's distracted by the news.
"I was never your apprentice, merely a weapon for you to use. For you see while you controlled my body i learned about my blood line, something that you would not knew anything about. For I am the son of Frienzia Starkiller, and Jerome Savage.
Valafar grinned and started to laugh.
"How does that make you feel Uncle?"
Valafar's laugh grew louder, almost an insane laughter that could wake the dead.

Xander's somewhat playful demeanor faded, as did the amused look on his face. His lip curled into a sneer as he frowned.
"So, the boy wonder is actually an abomination with a whore mother and a lecherous father...no matter. This news has angered me, more than it should have, perhaps. But removing you from this galaxy is still on my to do list. By sending you into the realm of Chaos, I will have purged your stain from our lineage forever. Prepare to be reunited with that whore mother of yours very soon, apprentice..."
Xander chuckled and then raised his hands, clenching them in the process. Both the left and right double saber sprang to life, though only the forward facing blades were active. A sadistic grin crossed Xander's face. He knew that Valafar knew he was no match for the freshly resurrected Sith. It was about to be a quick battle. And Xander was going to enjoy every second of it.

Venom woke to the sound of Valafar laughing, painfully loud. The next sound made his stomach drop. Xander spoke to him. Venom rolled over, gazing to where the tube containing Xander's body had been. The Zabrak Overlord himself was standing there, in the flesh! The pedestal containing the holocron and undoubtedly his lightsaber hilt had vanished completely. No doubt destroyed in the process of Xander's Essence Transfer. As the unwelcome sound of lightsabers igniting greeted his ears, Venom sprang to his feet, moving towards the armory section. He had seen several lightsaber hilts, and he desperately needed one now. As he searched, he heard the droids in the corner opposite him begin powering up. He glanced over at them. As they unfolded and straightened out, Venom noticed that they actually happened to be Krath War Droids. Venom found a somewhat familiar lightsaber hilt. Aside from the fact that looked familiar, Venom picked it up and ignited it. The red blade sprang to life. As Venom turned to face the droids, he called back to Valafar.
"Uh, bro, I think we've worn out our welcome here. Time to go!"
Venom didn't bother waiting for Valafar to respond. He took off towards the nearest accessible turbolift. The one they had come down in was Kalen's, back in the day. Which meant that there was still two more lifts that would take them to the surface. The one Praxus and later on, Amaris Jade used, and the one his former mentor, Viox Savage had used. Either way, the two of them needed to get back up to the surface, find the Captain and his crew and jump ship before Xander decided to revoke their 'get off the planet free' card.

Valafar knew that Xander would react like this, but it did give Venom enough time to awaken which is what Valafar had wanted to begin with. Valafar saw that Venom was sprinting towards the nearest accessible turbolift, not wanting to fall behind, Valafar sprinted after Venom as it seemed like he knew his way around the place. As the two Clan Brothers sprinted towards the turbolift, Valafar thought on what he had experienced inside of his mind and how it would shape him in the future.

Wayfarer-Class Transport Serenity, Rhomammool Wastes.
The trio had made their way back to the downed transport. Everything that had been taken from the Imperial Council Hall was securely stored and ready for transportation off world. Now all that was needed to be done was to fix the ship well enough and hope that Vallius was able to come through for them and they were able to leave the planet. Nathan strode into the cargo bay, where Wash and the Mule sat.
"Okay Captain, I think I have found where we can get the parts we need. After viewing the planet's history, anything ship related was done at Novax Field. What passes for intel around these parts indicates that the Field does have the parts we need. All we need to do is go there, find them and bring back. Then install them and hope that Vallius has knocked out that disruptor field so we can leave."
Nathan sighed.
"First things first. We head out and find the parts. Until that happens, we don't need to be concerned about anything else. Dong ma?"
Wash nodded in agreement. Zoe climbed aboard the Mule as the prepared to head out again. This time the the former domain of Viox Savage and Cain Dracus. The Mule moved off the ship and sped off in the direction of Novax Field, hopefully to find the parts they needed.

Xander grinned as the Starkillers began to run. As his Krath War Droids began to activate, he extinguished his lightsabers. Having the droids hunt them down was going to be incredibly interesting. As the Starkillers vanished from the main room, the six Krath War Droids gave pursuit. Xander grabbed his cloak from where it was hanging and pulled it on. He then walked across the room towards the lift he had led Valafar and Venom down. He needed to get back to his Penthouse to ensure things were ready for transport, then get to Novax Field and signal his A.I fragment on his sole remaining ship and have it return to the planet. He had no intentions of actually killing Reynolds or his crew, or the Starkillers at this point. He was alive and able to finally depart this desolate wasteland. Once the few things he required to leave were ready to go, he would have them moved to Novax Field where he could summon his ride out of here. Xander stepped onto the lift and rode it up to the Penthouse, while the Krath War Droids pursued the Starkillers.

Osarian. Imperial Military Academy.
Sergeant Marek and his team crashed through the overgrown courtyard of the once grand Imperial Military Academy. The forests of the planet had reclaimed much in the last five years. There was no activity so far on the planet. But that wasn't to mean there wouldn't be surprises left behind. Marek scanned the area as a Stormtrooper Corporal came up to him.
Sir. We've located the source of the disruption. It's coming from the Academy itself sir. Orders?
Marek lowered his electrobinoculars and sighed.
Let me report back to the boss first. Keep the area secured and see if you can find me schematics or something on the place.
The Corporal nodded and snapped off a quick salute as he walked off. Marek activated his comlink to contact Vallius up in orbit...
Pious Inquisitor. Bridge. Osarian Orbit.
Vallius sat cross-legged on the floor of the bridge, letting the Force flow through and around him. As he let his senses extend beyond the ship, he felt a wave of drowning darkness wash over him briefly. His eyes snapped open and he rose to his feet. The ship's A.I fragment spoke up.
"Sir? Is everything alright?"
Vallius moved forward and leaned over the holotable, hand on his forehead, looking terrified.
Vallius Savage:"No, everything is not alright...a great darkness had awakened. I never thought it was possible...Xander Savage has returned."
He glanced up at the A.I. A 'concerned' look crossed the A.I's face. And then the comm chimed. Rampant resumed his duties.
"Incoming transmission from Sergeant Marek."
Vallius stood up straight and wiped the sweat from his brow.
Vallius Savage:"Patch it through."
The blue hued image of the Sergeant appeared on the holo-table.
Sir. We've located the source of the disruption. It's coming from the Imperial Military Academy itself.
Vallius frowned.
Vallius Savage:"We don't have the equipment to take down the Academy ourselves...hmm...stand by Sergeant. I will contact you once I have a solution. Savage out."
The Sergeant's image nodded and then winked off the display. Vallius looked up to the holographic image of the A.I.
Vallius Savage:"Pull up all information in regards to the Imperial Military Academy. Perhaps there will be a solution within the Academy's walls itself?"
The A.I's avatar nodded and the two of them began to formulate a plan to move forward from this point.

Venom sprinted down the long hallway that led away from the main room. Valafar was right behind him. And the half dozen Krath War Droids were in hot pursuit. Huffing as he ran, Venom hollered to Valafar.
"We need some kind of distraction. These droids get a chance to drop down on all fours and we won't be able to out run them. I am currently open to suggestions at this time..."
As he spoke, he felt a twinge in the Force. He raised his blade and spun around. A Pulse-Wave slammed into the blade as he toppled over backwards. Rapidly regaining his bearings, he jumped to his feet and kept running, now behind Valafar. If they didn't find a way out of this hall soon, the Krath Droids would catch up. And neither of them were in any condition to fight them all off.

Valafar knew that Venom was right they did need a distraction, that's when Valafar noticed a damaged support pillar. Valafar ignited his saber and swung at the pillar causing it to fall to the floor, which resulted in that part of the tunnel to collapse, crushing one of the war droids under it. Valafar deactivated his lightsaber and proceeded to follow Venom.
"How's that Brother?"
Valafar could now see the turbolift, it is roughly eleven feet away. Once they were in the turbolift Valafar would inform Venom of his lineage.

Venom slowed down, and then stopped completely to catch his breath. He looked over to Valafar, still breathing heavily.
"That will buy us some time. Nice work. But now on to the bigger matter. We need to get off of this planet. And fast. Even if Xander doesn't intend to hunt us down, he is back, in the flesh. Which means he is capable of doing all manner of things to us. Let's get to the lift. This should be the one that will take us up to Novax Field."
Venom, now breathing more normally, strode over to the lift, returning his lightsaber hilt to his belt. It was time to either find the Serenity and leave with the Captain and his crew, or find a still functioning freighter and burn sky until they saw lines. Either way, they needed to leave Rhommamool. Before Xander decided to kill them instead of letting them go.

Valafar knew what Venom had said about Xander was true, they would have to hurry if they wanted to escape this planet alive. Valafar continued to walk towards the turbolift, at least while they were on the lift they would have some time to rest and gather their thoughts and decided on their next move whether it be the same way they got here or another way.
"No time to waste then Brother"
Valafar walked onto the turbolift after Venom. The door closed behind him, Valafar reach over and activated the lift controls. It wasn't long before the lift started up. Valafar decided it was time to inform Venom of his own lineage.
"You should knew a few things brother. First i was Xander's apprentice, well more like a weapon that he could use and just discard once done with it. Second i am of both Clans my mother was of Clan Starkiller and my Father was of Clan Savage, he was also Xander's brother. Third I am the Monster that slaughtered most of our Clan, i never regretted it until today"
After saying what needed to be said Valafar looked down upon Venom waiting for his response. Valafar had revealed more to Venom than anyone else, maybe it was because he was his clan brother, or maybe not Valafar didn't know. What Valafar did know was that he would follow Venom until he was no longer needed.

As the lift carried the two Zabraks up towards the planet's surface, Venom leaned against the wall, observing his Clan brother as he spoke. This news of being from both Clans was interesting, but irrelevant to their current situation. The admission of Valafar being the one to slaughter his own Clan was disturbing. Though at this point, Venom had already pieced that together. This was more for Valafar's own sake than his. Venom took a few minutes to process, then spoke.
"Well, if we are being truth-some with each other, then let me give you some insight into who I am. By now you have already figured out that I was meant to be Clan leader at one point. The sigil is a dead giveaway. But you don't know the reasoning behind why I left. I was recruited to be a Sith apprentice to Xander's son, Viox Savage. Viox, not wanting to have my potential wasted, trained me for a few years as a Sith. But, becoming arrogant and foolish, I felt as though he had been holding me back. I fought him. Thinking him defeated, I then joined up with another Sith on this world and we began to revolt against the Tyrian Triumvirate. Long story short, that failed and I was thought to be dead after it happened. In truth, I was held captive by a rogue Force user. I was tortured and turned away from the Force. Upon my eventual rescue, I rejoined the ranks of the Sith. I trained for another year before Xander arrived. With his arrival, I fled, knowing full well what he would do, should he discover me. I became a smuggler for a Twi'lek for several months, then joined with Captain Reynolds. I've been with him since the fall of Xander's empire. And now we are here. What's done is done. But we can start new. We can rebuild our Clan. We can return to the galaxy as brother and Sith. Perhaps we will settle on Iridonia? Or perhaps we will do something greater. All I know for certain is, we need to get off this planet and recover. Once we are fully healed and better equipped, we can fight against Xander. Does that sounds like a solid plan, brother?"
Venom watched his Clan brother as he processed the information given to him. Neither of them had been entirely truthful with each other, but now, perhaps they could work together and become true Clan brothers.

Valafar listened to his clan brother's story some of it he already knew. Valafar agreed that what's in done is done. He also agreed with the plan to rebuild the Clan. Settling on their home planet was a sound idea.
"Rebuilding the Clan and settling on Iridonia sounds like a good idea, but for now we should focus on getting off of this damned planet"
Valafar kept on thinking about everything he has been through, and what needs to be done.

Rhommamool. Imperial Council Hall. Penthouse.
Xander exited the turbolift and strode into his Penthouse. It was no longer the once grand display of power for his empire. Sand and dust covered most of the room. But aside from that, it was still as he had left it. Xander made his way over to a console and activated it. Once the appropriate screen was being displayed, he sent a message to his A.I. With the theft of his previous A.I, Rampant Savage, Xander had created a new one to replace him. Warden Savage was essentially Rampant. He was built off of the same template, but given a more imperial persona. Xander than began contacting Warden.
//:Command Prompt:... //:Activate The Warden... --Warden successfully activated. //:Initiate Retrieval Protocol... --Retrieval Protocol initiated. --Estimated time of arrival: 23 hours, 19 minutes. //:End Prompt.
With his A.I and his ship on it's way, he had more than enough time to collect the few things he needed before he finally was able to leave this dammed backwater planet. Xander then when about sorting through his possessions. He had a number of hours to kill before his ship arrived. And he needed to be ready.
Meanwhile...
Unknown Regions. Imperious-Class Star Destroyer: Elizabeth's Fury.
The Fury was drifting through space. No signs of life present. Due to the protocol enforced when the ship jumped away from Rhommamool, all of the crew were placed in cryo-sleep. The only active member on the ship was the A.I, Warden Savage. Though he too was powered down. Just enough of his subroutines were left active to keep an eye on the ship's status and course. Upon receiving the activation command, the A.I's systems began to fully power up. Within the span of a few minutes, the A.I was fully operational once more. The A.I's avatar, that of an Imperial Grand Moff, sprang to life on the pedestal on the bridge. Looking around, Warden then began powering up the ship's systems one by one, monitoring them as they came online. Lights flickered on, consoles and terminals light up, running through their initial startup screens. And then the engines came to life. The main drives flickered to life, pulsing a brilliant blue-white. As the ship returned to life, Warden began plotting a course to Rhommamool, to retrieve his master. After a solid three minutes, the A.I had the course plotted and was spinning up the hyperdrive. A few minutes later, the ship altered it's current vector, then disappeared into the swirling confines of hyperspace.

Imperious-Class Star Destroyer: Elizabeth's Fury. Hyperspace Transition.
As the ship traveled through the swirling confines of hyperspace, Warden had begun waking the crew from cryo-sleep. Protocol had dictated that at the very least, the command crew of the ship needed to be on duty by the time the ship reached its destination. The aging Grand Admiral, Carter Jericho strode on to the bridge. Dressed in his freshly pressed uniform, Jericho spoke to the A.I. His voice still somewhat hoarse due to the prolonged exposure to cryo.
"Warden, make sure the engineering crews and the gunnery crews are woken as well. No point in having just the command crew up and moving about if we can defend or repair this ship. And show me our remaining ETA."
There was a few moments pause as the Admiral reached his command chair and Warden displayed the countdown timer on the main display.
Estimated Time of Arrival: 18 hours, 17 minutes.
Once the ship got to Rhommamool, Xander would be back on board, which would then give the crew more direction. Right now, their only concern was to reach Rhommamool and retrieve Xander. Until then, nothing else mattered.

As the lift rose to the its destination, Venom nodded his head in agreement. Rebuilding and finding a place to call home was important, however, there was the little matter of escaping the planet first. With Xander returned, the danger posed to them had increased considerably. Even if he wanted them to get off the planet alive, it didn't mean they had to be in one piece.
"Once we get to the surface, we'll need to either find a way back to Serenity and patch her up enough to get off the planet, or we'll need to find another ride out of here. If Xander plans on leaving the planet, that means he has a plan to leave. If he is as devious and deceptive as I recall, we probably don't want to find out what he has planned."
Venom glanced up at Valafar, noticing the dings and scratches in his armor. If Valafar looked rough, he could only imagine what he looked like. He was missing his hat and his cloak. Places on his shirt were torn or streaked with crimson dust. His pants were torn at the knee and his meager armor pieces were scratched and dented. But he still had his blaster and a lightsaber. And he had Valafar. Even if the massive Zabrak wasn't showing it, Venom knew that he was struggling with the recent encounter with Xander. A lot had been revealed to him that he hadn't known. And knowing that he was only trained as a tool for Xander to utilize whenever he wished probably wasn't an easy thing to cope with. But for now, they were still alive, they had each other and weapons. They could hold out as long as they stayed out of Xander's way and kept a low profile. Hard to do on an abandon desert planet, but they had to try as best they could.

Nate, Wash and Zoe had arrived at Novax Field. If the Imperial City of Exodus was a ruin, then the Field was worse. Craters littered the once vast spanning tarmacs. Carbon scorching and duracrete littered the ground. Partially demolished buildings and completely wrecked fighters were scattered about. Whatever had taken place here during the Fall hadn't been pretty. Though pretty wasn't really necessary for them right now. Usable was. They needed usable parts to get Serenity operational again. And hopefully they could find the parts they needed quickly. Nathan didn't like being on this planet any longer than he had to be. It was starting to make his head feel fuzzy. And there was a constant uncomfortable feeling in the air. He couldn't describe it, but it was there. Clutching his carbine, Nathan spoke to Zoe and Wash.
"We'll cover more ground if we split up. I'll head to the command towers and see if there is any records of the parts we need. Wash, take the north hangars. Zoe, take the east hangars. We'll meet up here in two hours. If we haven't found the parts then, we'll go out again."
Wash and Zoe nodded, cast a glance at each other, then departed in separate directions. Nate watched them go, then spun on his heel and jogged across the tarmac towards the ruined command towers, dodging craters and wrecked fighters as he did so. Hopefully they would find what they needed soon. He wanted to leave this place before anything else could befall him or his crew...

As the turbolift continued to rise, all Valafar could think of was his revenge against Xander for what he made him do to his clan. Valafar could feel his hatred for Xander grow to new heights, that combined with his bloodlust would make him what others had called him "Unstoppable Juggernaut" and Valafar promised the essence of his father in the holocron that he would be the one to end Xander and no one else, for those that get in his way will be show no mercy and they too will be killed to serve his revenge against the man who took everything form him.

Venom could feel the hatred seething within his clan brother. He knew that Valafar's hatred for Xander had grew immensely over the past few hours. But they weren't out of danger yet. He needed to keep a lid on his aggression for now. If he did that, then perhaps they could escape. If Valafar decided to act upon his anger and hate towards Xander, there was no chance of escape. Venom hadn't dueled with a lightsaber in years. Nor had he faced off against anyone remotely powerful with the Force. Valafar was of considerable strength and Xander was at least twice as strong as Valafar, if not stronger. No, fighting was not an option. If they had even a sliver of hope to bring about Clan Starkiller's return, they needed to become much smarter at how they handled things. Being a typical Sith wouldn't get them very far. They needed to take a page out of the Tyrian Triumvirate's book and learn how to work together to further their power. Kalen, Praxus and Savage had managed to consolidated and keep their power for several years successfully by changing the way they did things. If three complete strangers could work together and create a power based as powerful as they had done, then surely he and Valafar could. He just hoped they lived long enough to give it a try...
