In the mean time, it seemed prudent to get this thread going and get everyone on the same page OOC. I've already been in planning talks with Ka'ra Ordo , Galaar Vhett , and Telarial Bralor . But this is to officially reach out to everyone else. It is time to rebuild the Mandalorians on JvS. To shore up our ranks and promote some RP amongst our people and with outsiders. The plan is not to restart the Mandalorian Empire. It is to get us back to our roots. Return the power to the Clan Leaders, with Mand'alor merely providing some direction. The plan is to keep the Mandalorians as a whole neutral from the First Order/Alliance conflict. But, that is not to say that each Clan cannot choose to support one side or another in the fight. So long as you are paid/rewarded for your service, than by all means, fight for one side or the other. As a further extension of this. Each Clan Member can also choose to hire them self out to either side. Similar to the Supercommando Codex created by Jester Mereel. We'll be looking to expand RP on currently held Mandalorian worlds (Mandalore, Ordo, Concord Dawn), as well as looking at regaining control of previously held Mandalorian territories. Beyond that, happy to field some ideas from the rest of you guys on what else we should be aiming towards in the short-term/long-run. I won't make any claims to having all of the ideas. So let me know what you think.

It is most pleasing to see another good attempt at rebuilding the Mandalorian clans under a Manda'lor. I have a good feeling that this attempt will, at least, last and endure. A return to our roots is always a good way to start things up instead of trying to keep a defunct nation alive. Something I experienced when I had Nicademus as Galactic Emperor; felt it wasn't worth trying to keep a dying Empire alive and tossed it aside to create something from the ground up. Really helps bring people to the group if they see something new.

The II was an outgrowth of Clan D'Ordinii (For the moment including only themselves & a few allied clans) in reply to the ongoing lack of a Mand'alor. If you can cut it, the II will back you to the hilt. If not, you are just another pretender. True Mando style.

Admy has been filling me in on the Ordinii news, and I see we have active Fetts and Ordos and Bralors, but what else do I need to know?

We have Carid, Kebiin is his name. Also looks like a Skirata has reappeared, A'den.

Yeah, there isn't a whole lot. Admy has probably been the most "active" of the clans as far as continuous RP goes. Bralor has been close behind, and they recently struck a deal for Agamar with the First Order.
The only other real news is just me showing up to claim the Helm and get the Mando's going again.

Officially, as of right now, the following has been done:
- The Mandalorian Empire usergroup has been disbanded
- The Mandalorian OOC usergroup has been renamed to the Mandalorian Assembly
- Membership to the usergroup is open
We are currently still discussing the possibility of removing the various Mando Clan usergroups (Ordo, Ordinii and Vhett) in order to consolidate the Mandos into one usergroup.

Part of it depends on whether I need any of the factions bonuses for anything, and I won't know the answer to that until I finish planning Plu's return to the known galaxy. So I'd rather wait and make sure we really don't need it. |

Faction bonuses aren't really a thing anymore. Also even if they were, the group doesn't have enough people for even the smallest bonus any more.

A faction headquarters forum is a faction bonus. I wasn't necessarily speaking of fleets.
I will change my default group when Damocles wins Plu's IC allegiance.

We will definitely need to set up a meeting or something of the sort at some point to get that fixed  But yeah. Honestly, pretty sure I've seen a couple factions with 'multiple' HQs. If any Clan has a HQ, just work them all in under the MA umbrella, and then you guys can add/remove threads in them as you need. That way we aren't just keeping groups just to have all the Clan HQs. Just as a thought. |
