Salutations one and all, I come before you today with my friend/nemesis The Corruption to present an idea to interested members of the First Order, the Galactic Alliance, The Blackguard, or the Jedi Order. Now, I imagine the title is somewhat of a hint as to what the idea is. But to make things official and clarify it for anyone wondering, the idea is as follows: The FO/Sith and GA/Jedi have people among their ranks that have heard of The Corruption. In an effort to add a new resource to their own faction, each side sends a team to <Froz/Haruun Kal/Somewhere>. The basic idea would be that Wayland-Utani the FO/Sith team is there to weaponise The Corruption. While the GA/Jedi team is aiming to study The Corruption for scientific purposes. The rough idea is that each side would hit a certain point, and realize their goals were foolish. In the end, they briefly work together before dying. Either in some heroic explosion or to The Corruption. What happens in between is up in the air. But the idea is, who ever goes in, isn’t coming out at the end. Just a nice small, self contained SL of sorts. So what do we need? Just looking for a third interested party that wants to get involved. We aren’t fussed whether it’s a FO, GA, Jedi, or Sith writer. I have people I can NPC either side from. |

Hi everyone, Just a bit of an update. It’s looking like we are all set to get running on this. With Admy and Viox/Cain interested in the FO side, Galdaart if you are happy to commit someone to join in on the GA side (maybe they got hired for something) we will have nice even sides against the Corruption. The Corruption is all happy and ready to go against the four of us if everyone is happy to commit. Why everyone is there and how they get there is still up for discussion. Some possibilities are that both teams will be there with the explicit intent to study the Corruption. Due to the Jedi Archives having knowledge of The Corruptions existence, both sides have legitimate sources of its existence. The FO because of the Ossus raid. The GA because the Jedi are allied with them. Another was that both teams are passing through the system and either shoot each other down. Or they separately receive readings from the surface as they pass through the system and head down to investigate. Other ideas are fully welcome. Once we get that sorted out. We can start showing up  |

I think I'll commit Krayton. So, Nova, Is it just you and me for the GA?
I'll play the smuggler angle, so maybe the GA faction is catching a ride with me? ...though by trade, Krayton is a geologist, so he's not entirely out of his depth with science, either.

That is the plan. Couple writers on either side. Keep it nice and small and easy to keep moving ahead.
I’ll have some NPC GA team members with me, probably a couple other doctors/scientists and a small security team. Could definitely be that we hired Krayton. Keep the whole operation off the books.
Nice to have a fellow scientist along for the ride. Might need some rocks studied.
