The open air landing pad was constructed on the roof of the Mining Facility. The huge expanse and flat surface allowed for Bulk frieghtors and other large transports to land easily without space constraints and pick up their cargoes. Anti-grav emplacements around the roof and tractor beams helped distribute weight and guide in heavily loaded transports.

From the direction of the biggest city on the planet it leisurely made its way towards the Solomon Mines. On board the ship was 30 men, a platoon of of the fearsome Churchee's Riflemen. Of course to the men at the mines this was a dignitary from a planet not affiliated with the Republic or Empire. As such their meeting was off the books. Landing at the pad the ship was approached by Finde Lor, the manager of all local mines in the Deep Core. Once the final checks where done a burly looking human looked back at the 29 men under his command and simply nodded. They all knew their job, as the ramp slowly descended all of them ran off with their modified Kylan-15 Blasters.
Fanning out the mercenaries ignored Finde and moved further into the mining compound. This place despite being a simple mining organization, actually surrounded multiple military strong points and as such had Stormtroopers in tow. Walking off the embankment the lieutenant smiled at Finde his rifle held over his shoulder Thanks for allowing us to your base, if you cooperate then things will go well. If not well... Pointing his rifle over at a corner a small Rodian stood to run and with a single shot to the back he fell down. But dont even worry about that, we are just here to get our job done and that is it. If you would accompany me to your command and control center that would be nice. As if to further wished to prove his point the man pointed his rifle at him.

Xeonon did not consider himself a petty man. Sure he had lots of faults but in the span since he "attack" on the Supreme Commander things had gone from bad to worse. It was true the First Order had prospered. For a time even he had prospered after his agreement with Hevn. Then like always the gravy train ran out. Some idiot in the First Order had decided to take this Mines, his Mines and nationalize them. Originally they had sold exclusivly to the Empire or whatever name it was under at the time. This though. This made it so it he didn't see any of the reward. His station in the Anoat Asteroid field was now empty except for the droids that mined the field.
Even though the money stopped coming in, it didn't mean it wasn't there. Xeonon had amassed a great wealth over the years which is how he got places. It also helped when those places were on the planet he had called home for over forty years. As the shuttle proceeded through the skies over the planet Xeonon was able to answer every query and security question thrown at him. You would think someone would have revoked his access codes after he became a wanted criminal yet they still worked. If he ever got the chance to speak to Delvaradus again he would give him a peace of his mind.
Eventually the ship touched down at the Landing Pads of the Mine. The disgraced former Grandmaster stepped out of the ship, his traditional red armour gleaming proudly in the mid-morning sun he awaited someone of something to approach him. The company may be under new management, but the old management was back; and it is pissed.

Due to the Deep Cores relative autonomy from the rest of the First Order, especially now under the Knights Of Ren’s governorship, there were still lapses in the systems. That and some of the staff still respected and revered Xeonon as their real boss. Two matters that Harnan Ren and members of the First Legion were here to correct. Hence why it was that Xeonon was cleared to land at the Mines landing pad. Not that it did not go entirely unnoticed by Harnan that a guest had arrived.
The Stormtroopers were still trying to work on upgrading the systems and databases, so Xeonon’s arrival still remained foggy. But the fact that someone had managed to pass the usual security checks piqued Harnan’s interest. So he had made his way from the control room all the way to the landing pad. Clad in his new black armor, with his shield and lightsaber spear slung across his back. As he walked out on to the landing pad, a squad of Harnan’s most elite Riot Control Troopers accompanied him. Their own shields drawn with their rifles raised.
His gaze settled upon the ship as its occupant disembarked. Clad in the traditional red armor of the Imperial Knights. Great, he thought, Nicademus has sent once of his lap dogs to find me. What new business did the man want, that could not be handled with a simple call. Or was this some attempt by Delvardus to ensure he had some eyes and ears on the Deep Core. Harnan came to a stop a few feet from Xeonon, crossing his arms across his chest as he did so You’re a long way from home Imperial Knight... This is Ren territory now. I suggest you get back on your ship and return to Muunilinst... He had no time to entertain Nicademus’ attempt to saddle him with an Imperial Knight. Surely the man would not be so foolish as to forgot the two groups thorough disdain for one another

As Xeonon stood there eyeing the welcoming party he was almost suprised to see one of the Knights of Ren there. Sure Stormstroopers were common enough, more so in the Deep Core where their cloning took place but these ones seemed on edge already.
Ren territory eh? I was under the impression that this planet was under the jurisdiction of the First Order and not the new toys of its leader.
Although no longer being affiliated with his order Xeonon had heard rumours which more often then not turned out to be true. Most people spoke of no love lost between the Knights of Ren and the Emperors bodyguards the Imperial Knights. Everything about them was different, from their moral code right up to their jobs. Delvaradus was no fool it was why Xeonon had supported him all these years but this seemed like a mistake. Who in their right mind would give these guys control of the Deep Core.
Trust me they wouldn't want to see me there right now. Not until I finish my job.
What was his job you ask? Hell if I know but at this time it was better to play it safe. Despite the force greeting him Xeonon suspected for the time they did not know who he was or they would already be shooting.
Perhaps we should start over. Despite my dress I am not with the Knights, I am here on personal business. Perhaps you can take me to the gentlemen who's bright idea it was to nationalize my company without discussing it with me.
Here is where it got tricky as technically several years ago Xeonon "gave up" ownership to someone else. A proxy. A false name, as away of still being in control while no longer managing the day to day operations.
Before you do that alert them that Floyd Thursby is here.

Harnan's gaze fixed upon the Imperial Knight, his hand forming into a fist as the man seemed to imply that the Knights of Ren were toys of Nicademus. A statement that he resented, all things considered. If anything. The Imperial Knights were Nicademus' toys. After all, their new Grandmaster jumped when Nicademus commanded. And heeled when the man commanded her not to worry about Illaria's influence over him Toys... that's rich coming from an Imperial Toy Soldier... Even as Xeonon spoke, crews were continuing their work in the command center. Connecting into the Mines operating system to start the database upgrade. With one soldier running the recent logs against the First Order database. Causing a red flag to almost immediately be thrown up by the codes used by the craft that had just landed. The Stormtrooper checked the file, noting the name Xeonon Solomon. The man for whom the Mines had gotten their name. Alongside the file that was attached. Which included a lengthy criminal investigation into the former Imperial Knights actions on Muunilinst which had resulted on an attempt on Nicademus' life.
Harnan studied the man with interest. Listening as the newcomer spoke of having to finish some job here before he would be welcomed back to Muunilinst. His tone changing as he demanded to see who ever it was that had nationalised Solomon Mines without consulting him. Harnan's mood had already been soured by the man's disrespect for the Knights of Ren. He had little patience left for some entitled CEO who wanted to get uppity about the property of a wanted criminal being seized for use by the Knights of Ren.
Harnan raised his clenched fist, opening his hand before clenching it. The yellow corruption surrounding the edges of his eyes glowing bright yellow as he reached out with the force to grip the man's throat. The darkness starting to take a hold of him as he focused solely upon the man beneath his helmet Apologies, Mr Thursby. I wasn't aware that I needed your permission to do what is needed for the good of the Deep Core... And while we're on the topic... An alert popped up upon his display then. Causing Harnan to release his grip upon 'Floyd' as the alert opened a file on Xeonon. Bringing up a head shot of the man, along with a short wanted notice and his known alias'. The smirk returning as he returned his gaze to Xeonon. Deciding it was best to not let on that he knew the truth already. An alert had already been sent to the Resurgent, requesting further reinforcements. In the form of several more AALs and TIE fighters. All of which were a good several minutes out Why is it that you are dressed as an Imperial Knight? Especially if you are not with them?

They were all toys. Even those who thought they were not were indeed toys. Only a select few people truly ran things and they didnt often like to advertise that fact. As much as Delvaradus thought he was in charge no doubt there was someone even above him pulling the strings.
Of course Xeonon did not think any of this. He was too busy gasping for air. Despite putting on a show reaching for his collar to lighten it he knew it would be pointless. Had he not been masquerading as some pissant CEO he would have fought back against the crushing might. Instead he stared Harnen right in the eyes watching the darkside take over his mind. It was a shame he had allowed it to cloud his mind, it was clear this man was a prodigy with the force but he had let dogma stunt him. After nearly a minute the pressure on his throat relented and he sucked in a breath almost too eagerly.
Defective toys that lash out at the merest provocation at that.
Rubbing his throat a little as he thought how best to answer this.
That same war criminal you spoke of left a lot of stuff behind. I felt it was prudent to have some extra protection just in case you decided to do something rash. I take it you are responsible for making me lose my company then? Perhaps you can order your men to lower their weapons and we can refrain from anymore tricks and talk like men?

Harnan scoffed as Xeonon further sought to taunt him. The Imperial Knights comments, however, falling upon deaf ears. After all, Harnan had yet to renege completely upon the vows he had taken. Xeonon, on the other hand, had lead an attempt on Nicademus’ life. Betraying the man whom he had sworn a vow to protect and serve. For what, a life on the run and some cash grab.
Harnan was amused by the idea that the man thought the armour of an Imperial Knight would protect him. A fact which he had proved quite false by merely using the Force. But then, it was more likely that he would not have expected to meet a Knight of Ren. Meaning the armour would have been quite effective defending him against someone using a blaster. Harnan made no move to command the Stormtroopers to lower their weapons We are talking like men. You came dressed for a fight, so do not expect otherwise... Harnan strode forward, closing the distance between himself and Xeonon by a couple more feet. While still remaining just beyond saber reach But yes, yes I am. So what do you want to discuss? Are you hoping to champion your cause to me, in hopes that I might give control of the mines to you once more?

As Harnan strode forward Xeonon glanced back at the Riot Troopers hoping they would have lowered their weapons. Sometimes a guy needs to take matters into his own hands. Raising his own hand Xeonon turned it into a fist as he reached out to the weapons in their hands and forcefully yank them out of said hands
You aren't the only one with parlour tricks.
At the end of the statement the weapons turn their muzzles towards Harnan for a few seconds before clattering to the ground.
Champion my cause? I think between the two of us it is abundantly clear what I want. I want to be in charge of the Mines again. I want you to leave this compound, and I want you to do this with a smile on your face. Please?

As the guns were yanked from their hands, the Riot Control Troopers drew their Riot Batons. A somewhat familiar crackling of energy heard as the prongs swung around into position and ignited. Harnan didn't even flinch as the guns were pointed at him. His armour more than capable of protecting him from the blaster fire. After all, that was the whole point of wearing armour. To protect oneself from things like blaster fire. If it was incapable of doing that, it was merely an encumbrance. Something Harnan had little time for.
Harnan's gaze shifted off into the distance. The reinforcements were still a couple minutes away. He just had to keep Xeonon from escaping in that time, so he might capture the man. His gaze returning to the shamed Imperial Knight as the man continued his ruse. Demanding the mines be returned to him and that Harnan leave with a smile on his face. The Knight of Ren shook his head, as he reached his hand behind his back. Grabbing a hold of the lightsaber hilt that was clipped to the back of his belt You've come a long way for nothing then... I'm not in the habit of giving things over to traitors! Harnan pulled the lightsaber from its place and thumbed the activator switch, the red blade snapping to life as he brought it up into a guard position. The Riot Control Troopers fanning out into a half circle to further surround Xeonon Be a good disgraced Imperial Knight, and lay down your weapons... Alternatively, I'll just present your severed head to Nicademus... Your choice!

Xeonons face twisted into a wry grin. Maybe this guy was not as dumb as he had first suspected. It didn't take a genius to figure his identity but it was surprising how often people would over look it. Reaching into the small of his back Xeonon removed his own lightsaber that snapped into life its own silver blade coming out of the hilt in a slight curve.
Oh good you will take me back to the Supreme Leader and here I was hoping this whole thing was going to be a waste of both our times.
Clearly Xeonon wasnt about to go in quietly, that would make things to easy and a whole lot less fun. As it stood now he was at a disadvantage when it came to man power.
I am sure he will be happy to hear all about the poor security you have on your worlds, letting a wanted criminal land in the heart of the Deep Core. What if I had been someone else?
Reaching out with the Force once more Xeonon drew it into himself as he spoke preparing his attack. Raising his lightsaber in his right hand to shoulder height Xeonon slashed across his body to distract the Knight of Ren. However just as the blade began its descent Xeonon opened the palm of left hand and a light brighter than any star shone forth.
Force Blinding would easily take care of the entourage watching the fight, the Stormtroopers may be a mild annoyance but even small annoyances become big problems. Only time would tell though if Harnen would be caught off guard by the attack.

Harnan had to admit that he would have been disappointed if Xeonon had just laid down his arms and surrendered. He smiled as the former Imperial Knight drew forth a curved hilt lightsaber and ignited it It could still be a waste of my time... It all depends on how good of a fight you put up... The Riot Control Troopers held their positions. Strengthening their stance as they readied themselves for any blow Xeonon might try and strike. Harnan, meanwhile, reached behind his back and grabbed a hold of his shield. Sliding it around from its position upon his back to his forearm. Xeonon clearly preparing to attack as he spoke Or perhaps this was all just a trap... designed to lure you in... Harnan raised his shield as Xeonon struck at him. Blocking both the lightsaber and the blinding light. The Riot Control Troopers were not so lucky. All of them were taken by surprise by the attack. While their helmets did manage to protect their vision for the most part, all of them still stumbled back a couple feet.
Harnan swung his shield outward and up, in an effort to push Xeonon's lightsaber out of the way as he slashed vertically across the Imperial Knights waist

As Xeonons lightsaber met resistance against the shield he nearly felt surprised. The last time he had encountered a lightsaber resistant shield was his own, left in some tomb on a world far from here. Based on how easily his opponent wielded it it was not Beskar. Xeonon figured it was either Songsteel or Ultrachrome as he would have been able to cut through Cortosis with relative ease.
Thankfully Ren was not the only one with a metal that could resist lightsabers. As Harnan swung to bisect Xeonon he let the blow land, the phrik filaments in the armour stopping the blade. Following the blade in before the heat could cut through his armour he touched the red blade against his wrist the Cortosis interacting with the lightsaber hopefully turning it off for several seconds to several minutes depending on the quality of the blade.
Of course it is, if you don't already have someone coming here to put me in irons I would be insulted.
Raising his left hand to grab the hilt of his blade he swung downward double handed hoping to catch the man off guard. now that he lacked his own blade.

Harnan felt the blade come to a stop against the armour of the Imperial Knight, he was not nearly as surprised as Xeonon had been. He knew of the Imperial Knights famed armour. Unlike the Jedi, the Imperial Knights favored the use of lightsaber resistant armour. As his lightsaber shorted out on the cortosis arm guard, he smiled. Unlike some, his lightsaber was made of stronger stuff than others. Causing a timer to appear on his HUD with a several second countdown for when his saber would be ready again.
He kept his shield between himself and Xeonon, absorbing the impact of the double handed saber strike. He twisted his right hand to unleash a short burst of Force energy towards Xeonon, aiming to push the Imperial Knight a couple feet backwards. If successful, it would grant him the time necessary to reactivate his blade.
The gunships appeared upon the horizon then, their pilots pushing all the speed out of the engines that they could muster. Their weapon lock systems coming online as they sped toward the landing platform of the mines

Solomon Mines was probably one of the few places within the resurgent Empire where there was no need for slave labor. It was the product of two famously known figures of Aargau's past, Gabriel and Xeonon Solomon. Both were renowned Imperial Knights and had fought for a number of battles, all for the sake of the future Imperial cause. Despite the former's disappearance and the latter's 'execution,' the mines were still utilized and operated by Imperial citizens of Aargau. The wealth of minerals helped fuel the local war machine of the Deep Core, but its contribution was still felt as its refined minerals were used to product warships and support vessels of Foerost. Imperial pride was very high on Aargau due to the legacy left behind by the standing Emperor of the First Order.

Solomon Mines, now under the direction of the Kasalle Mining Company, hardly seemed bothered by the change in leadership. Although Xeonon was still alive, and no longer a traitor, he did not seem keen to retake up the business itself. This was a sad fact, but the Emperor ensured they were put under capable leadership, and that was Salvatore Kasalle, his father, Baron Cassio, and his executives. Certainly, given the economic prosperity and stability of the Empire, the mines thrived as they did before! Precious metals, a major export of the planet, were mined within the mountains in the northern hemisphere where the Solomon Mining facilities were located. This was where there was less city than the remarkable capital of New Escrow and its sister cities that made up much of the terrain of Aargau. Certainly, it still proved profitable to mine these peaks.

Racker Doss was a lead accountant and strategist of the Rendili Drive Yards. This was one of his first trips out of his home system. He had to open his big mouth. He was going over books, and started to realize that Kuat was able to build NIssi Interceptors for an eighth less than Rendili. This should have been impossible, the fighter was designed at Rendili they should have the best rates. The young accountant investigated and realized the quality was the same, and was left with one conclusion. Kuat was getting a better rate on materials. He brought this up to the supervisors thinking they would send someone to negotiate a new contract with the mines. He never thought they would send him. He had practiced his proposition over and over, but still hadn't been able to get through without stuttering. This was a mistake, he thought, he missed his bed.

The stuttering accountant got through his speech. He was waiting for them to dismiss him and send him away. He was shocked when his terms were agreed to. After the deal was done, the mining executive pulled him aside. He was loyal to the First Order as anyone. He told Doss to have confidence in what he had done. The numbers reported spoke for themselves. The young accountant just had to trust in his abilities.

Racker had never seen a mine in operation before, it was a far cry from his little cubicle in his office. It was hard for him to understand what it made him feel. One one hand, it was exciting, Getting to learn and see new things. On the other hand, it felt like every horror holo he had seen as a child. He was terrified that come creature was coming out from around the corner.

Racker walked around nervously, he was learning a lot about the mining process. The flames of the smelters danced light around. This both amazed and terrified him. His tour guides seemed very at ease, that made him feel a little more comfortable. Also no one was armed, again this made him comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time.
