Mounted with fifty six E4 equipment sockets, it has heavy throwing power for its weight class and surprisingly powerful drives. However, it pays for that power in both reduced defenses and sluggish turning ability. While it lacks any hangers or dedicated shuttles to deploy troops directly to a combat zone, the design does have enough troop accommodations for six companies of infantry with their standard gear. Unfortunately, the lack of hangers means those companies do not include the M03s and M04s usually assigned to those units.

It is designed fill much the same role as the Imperial Star Destroyer as a mix of powerful warship and mobile base. While it lacks the long term sustainment ability of a M10/t, the M80 is able to carry and deploy an entire legion in a single stroke. In addition, it can provide a greater volume of fire and a larger fighter screen than the entire standard legion fleet deployment is able to bring to bear. The general complement of the M80 is two wings of M20s, a squadron of M21s, and a wing of M22s.

While it isn't as large, this heavy bruiser of a ship was designed to stand toe to toe with full sized Star Destroyers. The M70 manages this with an incredible amount of firepower for its size, extensive armor plating, and powerful shields. Unfortunately, these factors combined make the M70 extremely sluggish at the hull, both in terms of overall speed and in maneuverability. The design also boosts surprisingly extensive troop compartments able to carry five battalions of infantry, along with a more modest four squadrons of M20s, a squadron of M21s, and a single flight of M22s.

Its primary role is that of a carrier ship. However, with the exception of the M80, the M60 has the single largest complement of fighter craft in the fleet. Able to carry a full wing of M20s, four squadrons of M23s, and a single squadron of M21s. Due to its extremely limited number of E4 sockets, the M60 is rarely deployed without significant escort ships. The M60 can transport two full battalions of infantry, along with three tank or scout battalions.

Scyk Fighter DroneOfficial Designation: Model 20 Ship Role: Patrol, Interceptor, Swarm tactics Link: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/M3-A_Scyk_fighterCasket Crew: 0 Full Drone Control: Yes Standard Crew: 0 Passengers: 0 Length: 10 meters Armament: 1 E3 socket Fighter Complement: None Shuttle Complement: None Ship Class: Light Fighter Agility (A): 4 Offensive (O): 2 Defensive (D): 2 Speed (S): 4 Special Gear: 2 (Drone, Modular) The Model 20 is a modernization of the traditional Mandalorian craft. Much like the basic TIE fighter of the old Galactic Empire, the M20 had little in the field of comfort or power. Unlike the TIE fighter, however, the Scyk had both shielding and a greater flexibly of armaments. With that design as the basis, the Mandalorian Empire modernized the design. The flexibility of the original weapon system was greatly increased by modifying the design so that it instead boasted a single E3 socket. For defensive and speed abilities, little was changed beyond what was required to update the design. Some of the biggest changes however, would be normally seen as a step backward. The life support, hyperdrive, and entire cockpit assembly was stripped from the design. Normally, this would make for a craft that couldn't be flown, due to lack of a pilot. However, in their place, a basic drone computer was placed, as well as an advanced (if dedicated) communication system. This allows the M20 to be either deployed on automated attack runs, or to be remotely controlled by a pilot kept in the much greater safety of the carrier ship or local base. With the lack of a pilot to consider, the removal of the hyperdrive was an obvious choice. While the lack of a hyperdrive limits the effective range of the M20, however, using the fighter under automatic control is much less effective than having a remote pilot. All considered, these changes bring the cost of the M20 down considerably, even compared to its original model. This allows the M20 to be deployed (or lost) in greater numbers with less financial impact.

TIE Hunter DroneOfficial Designation: Model 21 Ship Role: Space superiority Link: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TIE/HU_Hunter_multi-role_starfighterCasket Crew: 0 Full Drone Control: Yes Standard Crew: 0 Passengers: 0 Length: 9.6 meters Armament: 5 E3 Sockets Fighter Complement: 0 Shuttle Complement: 0 Ship Class: Heavy Fighter Agility (A): 4 Offensive (O): 3 Defensive (D): 2 Speed (S): 4 Special Gear: 2 (Drone, Modular) Based on the Imperial TIE Hunter, the Model 21 is a brutal space superiority platform. The original TIE/HU was designed to match or out perform any other fighter active at the time while costing significantly less. While more advanced starfighter designs would later enter the scene, the Hunter was a complete success. Over a hundred years later, the M21 has been fully upgraded with the ever advancing race of technology. Even so, it no longer holds the distinction of being the most deadly or effective fighter. However, it is still an extremely solid and capable design, while maintaining much of its historical economic value. Unlike the M20, the M21 still retains a fully functional cockpit in addition to the standard remote control and drone systems preferred by the Mandalorian Empire. While the Empire values its starfighter pilots too highly to risk their lives, the design does see a fairly steady stream of sales to the public market. Most of those sold to the public often have the remote controls disabled or removed, though many retain the drone control system as a form of autopilot.

While still faster than most capital grade ships, the M22 has a miserably low top speed compared to most fighters. Even a few smaller frigates and corvettes are able to outrun it. This is more than countered by the sheer amount of firepower it brings to the field. With a stunning seven E3 equipment sockets it presents a serious threat to anything that falls into its range.

Stasis Control Pod Commonly referred to as 'the casket' or some variant of that term, the Imperium Stasis Control Pod is one of the most advanced pieces of tech commonly in use by the Mandalorian Empire. The actual SCP itself is basically a stripped down and reinforced single occupancy escape pod. Unlike most escape pods, this design lays flat and is entered from the top, a feature which likely inspired its nickname. While the pod is still loaded with emergency survival supplies, as well as a locket for the personal gear of the intended user, very little space remains open in the pod. Instead, the vast majority of the space is taken up by the various systems and equipment that make the pod so valuable. The core of this collection of technology is a rakata stasis pod. Unlike standard stasis systems, the rakata variant allows the subject to continue perceiving the passage of time and have other mental processes. Other than that effect, the stasis field acts like a sensory deprivation system. In the ancient Infinite Empire, traitors and other criminals were locked in such units as punishment. Before the field is activated however, the operator must attach a number of special data cables into their own cybernetics. A gel is then pumped into the now closed pod to protect the operator in the case of a field failure.
This of course brings up the major difference that makes the stasis control pod more than just an expensive torture device. The training and equipment of the operators. Other attempts in the past have been made for the cybernetic or mental control of starships. However, one common hurdle was the inability for the pilots to process the required amount of information. The Mandalorian Empire managed to find a combination of processes that allow a certain rare number of individuals to bypass that hurdle. The first is that a prospective operator must spend several years adjusting to a suite of sensory enhancing cybernetic implants, as well as learning to use and control various other implants allowing remote communications and control of more simple networked systems. While the second set of implants are nearly universal among citizens of the Imperium and well understood, the sensory enhancements prove more difficult. Many potential operators are unable to adjust to the heightened threshold of their senses and need to have the implants disabled and removed. Even those that succeed can often experience side effects from the implants. Normally, these side effects usually include sensitivity to powerful sounds or lights, but can more rarely also be triggered by smell or touch. Once the potential operator has adjusted to their new sensory levels, they must attempt to actually connect with and control a ship. Known as binding or bonding, this process is extremely taxing. This is most often done in simulators at first to start the potential operators off with a more limited and easy to handle control set. Without the sensory deprivation effects of the stasis field (or some other similar tech) even those that have fully adjusted to their implants would not be able to control the ship. Even with every possible advantaged bent to their favor, less than half of those that reach this stage of training manage to successfully bind with a starship of any size outside of a simulator.
Between medical complications, failure to adjust to the implants, and failure to adapt to bonding with a starship only approximately 1 in 10,000 potential operators are able to complete the qualification testing. While every Mandalorian Empire ship is equipped with a SCP system, The rarity of qualified pilots and the fact that larger ships often require multiple pods for full operations means that only about ten percent of those pods are actually in use at any given time. The remainder of the ships being handled by most traditional crew.

Lucrehulk-class ShipOfficial Designation: Model 10 Ship Role: Mobile City Link: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Lucrehulk-class_LH-3210_cargo_freighter/Legendsstarwars.fandom.com/wiki/Core_ship/LegendsCasket Crew: 0-3 Full Casket Control: No Standard Crew: 30-300 Passengers: 500,000 Length: 3,170 meters Armament: limited to point defense Fighter Complement: 150 M20 Drones (All variants), 75 Fighters (M10/c, M10/t) Shuttle Complement: 15 gunships (M10/c, M10/t) Ship Class: Support Agility (A): 1 Offensive (O): 5 Defensive (D): 0 Speed (S): 1 Special Gear: 5 (Hangar Space, Troop Space, Factory production, Food production, Cargo Space) While the Lucrehulk design is practically ancient by modern standards, the ship has a long history with the Mandalorian Empire. The M21 design was originally acquired in massive numbers by Z'har. Originally, the majority were used only in their original role as cargo ships (M10), however over the decades many had been converted to other specialized use. The most common variants produced by that program were designed as mobile farms (M10/a), factories (M10/i), & hospital ships (M10/m). With mobile military bases (M10/t), research sites (M10/r), starfighter carriers being produced in smaller numbers. using the knowledge gained from periodic updates & improvements to those designs, a final variant was produced. With the latest program of standardization & updates, the vast majority of the already converted M10s have been reconverted into the versatile City Rings. Even with this mass conversion, the original pure cargo design still makes up over half of all Imperium run ships of the class. Though even those have been modified to more easily handle the standard Imperium Utility Pods. For defensive purposes, most M10 varients have drone racks for a full wing of M20s, while the M10/c and M10/t variants also have a half wing of other fighters (usually M21s) and a squadron of Gunships (usually M22s). The City Ring was designed to be a self supporting city in space, with a standard population of roughly half a million people. Of the original's six cargo bays, two have been converted for industrial use, while two more function as agricultural and park space. The two remaining bays have been retained in their original role of hanger & cargo space. While the core section of the designs can still separate, they are not designed for long term independent function. One specialty design produced in only limited numbers is the M10/t. Each of these ships is the permanently designated base of operations for a single Imperial Legion. In addition to the hanger space for the legion's fleet of landing craft & vehicles, the ship also has extensive repair bays, parts storage, & fuel bunkers. This allows the legion to support itself even in distant deployments, as well as make repairs or replacements as equipment is damaged or lost. For the more biological elements of the legion, the ship has extensive medical facilities that rival many advanced hospitals in civilized space. The base also has extensive training areas based on traditional kaminoan practices. When not being used for training exercises, these areas can be used to open recreation areas, or be reconfigured as needed for additional or variant training. Given the permanent nature of the legion's station, the ship also has more extensive recreation areas than are typically found on military bases. This is due in part to the lack of a supporting civilian infrastructure outside the bounds of the base, but also as a way of maintaining crew & trooper morale regardless of where the ship is stationed. Like many other Imperium designs, the M10 has been heavily reworked with technologies recovered from the Infinite Empire. Unlike most designs however, that influence has extended to the aesthetic design of the craft as well. The main visual difference between the clone war design & the M10 is the addition of three radial fins extending both up & down from the core sphere of the design. The exterior has also been replaced with the standard ultrachrome hull plating. Finally, when the M10 plans to remain stationary in one location for any reasonable length of time, the M10 has extensive banks of solar collection arrays that can be used to supplement its power supply or even to refuel completely. While a single Casket pilot can control the basic functions of the ship, additional casket pilots are required to operate secondary systems like the point defenses, the hydroponics bay, or the factory bay. Finally, There is a variant of the M10 that is produced by the Mandalorian Empire, but is no longer in government service. The M10/q lacks the primary ring structure of all other variants. Unlike the normal core sections, which have a limited endurance when separated, the M10/q has been modified for completely independent function. Unfortunately, these special modifications make the design unable to attach to ring sections of other ships. Given the much lower cost compared to other variants of the M10, however, it remains a highly popular design for those private individuals or groups wealthy enough to afford it. In many cases, the M10/q is able to function as an independent flying city. Though it lacks much of the ability for self-sufficiency of the M10/c.

The CitadelOfficial Designation: Model 90 Role: Mobile Capital Link: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Cloud_City/LegendsCasket Crew: 0-50 Full Casket Control: No Standard Crew: 100,000 Passengers: Millions Length: 16.2 kilometers in diameter Armament: 4,500 E4 sockets, 500 E3 sockets Fighter Complement: 1,500 M20 scyks, 150 Fighters Shuttle Complement: 150 gunboats Ship Class: Star Battleship Class CitadelBased in large part of the designs of Bespin's Cloud City, the Citadel is a monument both to the Mandalorian Empire's power and flexibility. While Lehon has been core territory of the Clan Or'dinii since its rediscovery, it has not been the clan's only territory, and at many points it has also not been the capital. In the past capital cities have been built (or expanded on) on half a dozen different worlds. Each one eventually turning into a lost effort as the tides of war shifted and control of the region shifted to another faction or fell into anarchy. With that history, great effort was spent in designing a capital that could move as it was needed, to where it was needed. While the primary design was taken from Cloud City, several modifications to the design were made before it was built. As with all other Imperium models, weapon systems had been replaced with standard equipment sockets. Additional weapon systems were also added for greater coverage, though the design was not envisioned as a warship and would be poorly suited for such a role. Power systems were likewise altered to fit with the standard ME doctrine. The long spine of the original design was also removed, as that was part of Cloud City's mining role, which the citadel would not need. These and many other minor changes were made to the design. It would also, as normal for Imperium ships, have its hull plating be made of ultrachrome. Internally, it is a fully functional city and command center for the entire Mandalorian Empire. Unlike Cloud City, the Citadel has a round 400 levels, including a Level 0 at the very top which has a large number of full sized structures. Starting from the bottom, Levels 375 to 400 are the engines and engineering sections of the city. This area is generally off limits to personal that are not ship crew or other ranking officials. Levels 300 to 375 make up the industrial zone of the city. While it doesn't have blaster gas mining equipment, the citadel does boast an impressive industrial capability. In general this area is divided up and operated by individual private companies, not directly by the government. levels 150 to 300 are the primary residential areas, including recreational and shopping areas. Levels 125 to 150 are tourist and entertainment zones. Levels 75 to 125 are high quality residential areas. Included in this area is the Royal Palace district, which hosts a secure wing for the private quarters of every royal family member. Admittedly, most of the royal family spends their time in other locations, only using their private quarters when visiting the capital. Levels 0 to 75 are government offices, administrative units, official meeting rooms, command rooms, and other government functions. Given that the exact nature of the external environment is uncertain, the Citadel makes use of wide airy arcades on all levels, often including extensive greenery, water features, and art. Additionally, the various rooms tend to be rather spacious even compared to traditional planet based construction. The Citadel does not have any primary docking areas, instead various sized hangers can be accessed from nearly any level. Most hangers are located between Level 75 and 300, though extensive military and government hangers can be found higher up, while most industrial hangers are placed lower.

Socii Systems The Socii Systems is a collective name given to those governments, groups or factions that are held under the sway of the Imperium, though are not comprised of Citizens. The general term given to those people that belong to these groups is Helot.
Government In terms of internal affairs, Socii Systems are rarely interfered with. Though they theoretically report to the Imperator, or most usually to an appointed staff. The general policy for purely internal matters is one of laissez-faire. This means that as long as the local government does not violate the Core Laws of the Imperium (which notably only apply to Citizens of the Imperium, not Helot populations) they are generally free to act as they see fit. This includes setting internal legal systems, defining their own system of government, economic policies and most other issues.
In matters that delve outside the the boundary of the system, though, The Socii Governor panel is required to get involved. This covers literally any issue that isn't fully internal to the Socii System in question. This covers, but is not limited to: -Trade deals with foreign powers, other Socii Systems, or the Mandalorian Empire itself. -Any military action. -Any police action against individuals that are not a member of the Socii System in question.
Tribute and Levy As part of the Mandalorian Empire they are required to pay an tribute of 5 percent of their gross domestic product, as well as a levy of half a percent of their total population. A large portion of the funds & force raised in this way is used to help secure the territory of the Mandalorian Empire, as well to stabilize & secure nearby regions that would otherwise lack the ability to secure their own interests. While it is preferred that the levy will be entirely a volunteer force, the Mandalorian Empire is pragmatic enough to know that isn't always possible. In general, while volunteers are always accepted, the process for gathering the required manpower for the levy is left to the local government.
In the past, Socii Systems were required to field their own military force in addition to paying the tribute. However, that system was decided to be too problematic based on the numerous issues of getting multiple different forces to coordinate. As well as issues caused by a general lack of standardization in any respect. Under the current system, all military recruits are held to a uniform standard as well as sharing a standard set of equipment.
Joining The preferred method for becoming a Socii System is by appeal to the Imperium. This is usually handled by whatever internal law making structure is in place in the system before being formalized with the local Sector Governor. As far as the general populace is concerned, Citizen and Helot alike, this is the only way that a system joins. In many cases, the system in question was unstable or otherwise reliant on the support of the Mandalorian Empire.
However, in the case of a system that is surrounded by Imperium controlled territory, maintains a valuable enough resource, has strategic value, or otherwise holds some value there are other means that the Imperium might use. One popular way of making sure its border of Socii systems continues to expand is in employing (at safe remove) gunrunners that at by all appearances on unfriendly terms with the Imperium. Either freelance operatives or technically former members of the Imperium. These gunrunners provide intel, weapons and other supplies to local sections of the population with a high likelihood of causing local instability. If this alone is not enough, the Imperium will offer aid (in whatever form is most likely to be accepted) while increasing the supply level of the local trouble makers. This pattern continues until either the local government invites the Imperium in to sort out the mess, or the local government collapses into a state of anarchy. In either case, once in command of the system the locals used as destabilizing elements are removed, either by force or by granting their desires. This is helped by the extensive information the Imperium has usually built up by this point.
Benefit The primary benefits for the Imperium are simple and direct. The first is that each world produces a certain amount of revenue for the Imperium in the form of tribute and local sales of Imperium made goods. With any foreign imports being fairly highly taxed, it serves as a strong incentive to buy the cheaper and often more reliable Imperium goods. The second benefit is the large pool of potential converts and recruits this provides. The last is that it provides a safe areas and buffer zones for the mobile population of the Imperium to rely on.
The benefits for the Socii Systems is less defined, but no less real. First, open trade access to the collective market of the other Socii Systems is often far larger than the system had enjoyed under independence. This often leads to an economic boom. The Mandalorian Empire also provides improvements in technology, healthcare, and construction. This in, along with the increased stability and protection also tends to result in a much higher standard of living and an echoing population boom. Finally, on the Helot level, anyone, at any time, is free to attempt to join the Imperium as a Citizen. All they must do is pass a skills and abilities test and convert to the mandalorian ideology. Instead of testing refined knowledge (which would favor only the already endowed members of the Socii System in question), it instead tests a person's raw cognitive and physical abilities. As long as certain minimum standards are met, training to complete the process of becoming a full citizen can begin immediately. While it is normal for the training to happen at special sites within the Socii System, the additional training can be at a secondary site. This makes it a valuable, if radical way of changing your life circumstances or as a rather extreme form of sanctuary.
Notable Socii Systems and Areas New Corporate Sector Authority: With a population of nearly five trillion, the NCSA is one of the single largest Socii Systems of the Mandalorian Empire. Formed from the loyalist Helots from the Northern Territories during the withdraw from that region of the galaxy, the New Corporate Sector Authority functions in most ways identical to the previous organization of that name. This includes the general pro-human stances, organization structure, and exploitive nature of the original CSA.
Infinite Empire: Following the mass revival of the Rakata species, many of them felt it was time to reform their historical government. As of the current date, their Socii System boasts a population of nearly half a billion Rakata. Despite the grandiose name they revived from the dust of history, they are so far limited to control of a single world. Despite that, they are making great progress in reclaiming their heritage. They are also one of the primary producers of exotic technologies within the Mandalorian Empire, and therefor have an economic clout well beyond what their limited population would suggest.
Northern Territories: While this area was previously one of the main centers of Socii population, that has changed in the last decade. With the wide spread removal of Imperium loyalists from the region in response to growing instability and unrest, the region descended into outright revolution. With the removal of the calming influence of their pro-mandalorian neighbors, as well huge amounts of local resources and wealth, the remaining helots were quick to abandon the trappings of Imperium subjects. A few suborn worlds continue to send tribute and requests to rejoin the Imperium, but they are few and far between. The only short term benefit is with the mass removal of their military might, which the Imperium more or less controlled while present, the worlds lack the resources to turn to piracy or aggression against those nearby. At least for now.
Rakata Archipelago: This area consists of nearly a thousand habitable worlds in the unknown regions, mostly clustered around Lehon but spreading wide across much of the unknown regions. While it had been the heart of the Rakatan Empire, the vast majority of its worlds have become uninhabited over the following millennia. A few worlds had small populations of Rakata, Selkath, Humans, Wookiees and a few other notable species.
Southern Territories: Centered around the old capitals of Kamino and Geonosis, these Socii Systems stubbornly remain, despite the lack of regionally allies and the travel time involved in reaching Lehon. This very remoteness, however, makes it very attractive to a certain strain of Free Colony. Many such gather in the region and use one or more Socii Systems as a base of operations from which to conduct their travels. The Imperium as a whole supports this, as it helps to stabilize the region and increase the influence of the Mandalorian Empire in the region.

Model Equipment Classifications (MEC)
With the expanse of the Rakata Archipelago with helots from numerous Socii systems, the Imperium has encountered a problem that had not previously been encountered. This problem was discovered due to the vast number of shipments being routed through new areas, as well as the general confusion of a mass migration forced by regional security concerns. While most forms of equipment had been given standard model numbers, the standards themselves had not been coordinated. Under normal circumstances any minor errors caused by this would be discovered and corrected quickly. Under the strain of the situation, however, the issue caused considerable trouble. It was decided that the previously separate classification systems should be combined into a unified whole.
Base System Each distinct design for vehicles, spacecraft, or space stations is given a unique number designation, to be preceded by the term Model. This is to be abbreviated as M#.
The first digit of the model numbers indicates the general class of the craft: Planetary (0), Support ship (1), Fighter/Bomber/Gunship (2), Corvette (3), Frigate (4), Cruiser (5), Star Frigate (6), Light Star Destroyer (7), Star Destroyer (8), Super Star Destroyer/Space Station (9).
Each digit after the first designates a sequential design, starting with 0. So the M50 would be the first Cruiser design. While the M138 would be the 39th corvette design.
Common Variants or other modifications to Models will be designated by ending with a suffix letter. Most suffix tags are expressed as lowercase letters preceded by a backslash and are specific to the model in question (for example M10/i for a Model 10 Industrial variant). However, a very few common tags are expressed as a capital letter preceded by a period (Such as the M01.U for an unarmored Model 01). Those tags are universal in meaning (& can be combined with other model specific tags such as M02/w.X for an experimental Model 02 walker). These common tags are as follows: Unarmored (.U), Experimental (.X).

Armor While powersuit technology has been around nearly a long as spaceflight, it has waxed and waned in popularity. Most commonly seen in military and heavy industry, it often balances on a fine edge of being worth the extra edge and being too expensive to issue in numbers sufficient enough to make a real difference. If anyone was going to take the idea to the extreme however, it should come as no surprise that a mandalorian faction was the first to issue it standard to every member of their society.
Training Armor Of course, a person doesn't simply hop into a powersuit and take off. It requires a close, nearly custom fit and extensive practice before using it becomes as natural as walking. For those that grow up in the Imperium, this training is included along with the core program of study. The Imperium maintains a large number of training suits for use by those either still growing, or not yet accustomed to the powered armor. While not as strong, durable, or energy efficient as the fitted models, these suits have the benefit of being able to be continually adjusted to match a growing body.
Exo The main core of the Imperium system is called the Exo, this is a capable frame that serves as the center from which the rest of the powersuit is expanded on. There are three main types of Exos (Light, Medium, and Heavy) which range in both total weight and level of strength enhancement. While the base exo could be worn independently of other attachments, it would provide little in the way of actual protection. However, the Imperium has a wide range of armors (from armor weave to heavy battle plates) in nearly every design and appearance possible. This allows for wide customization of both the level of protection and the visual style of each exo. In addition to that basic flexibility, an extremely wide range of secondary equipment can also be built into the exos to greatly increasing their function in a wide range of fields. Should the wearer later decide to modify their exo, the internal mount points make it extremely easy to do so. This does require removing the suit first. In practice, only citizens are allowed access to exos.
Legion Armor The standard legion armor is mostly based on the old Katarn-class commando armor, but includes a number of upgrades and modifications based on later models of stormtrooper armor. Instead of the more exotic construction of the original model, the Legion Armor makes use of more standard plastoid for the primary armor component. In addition to the protection that allows the standard stormtrooper armor to withstand the most extreme environments, the thicker plates of the legion armor allows a greater level of protection from blasters and other directed energy weapons. While a direct hit is still likely to inflict damage or possibly even incapacitate the wearer, the armor provides enough protection to allow the wearer to survive long enough to allow recovery by medical personnel. With this increase of protection against energy weapons, the classic energy shields of the katarn armor have been replaced with modern versions of the mandalorian power shield. This provides a level of protection against mostly kinetic threats, such as concussion, sonic, or slug based weaponry. The legion armor also excludes the backpack system of the original katarn armor, instead individuals are expected to rearm, recharge, and reload from the platoon support craft.
While the standard plastoid is white, legion armor is usually repainted before each deployment based on the requirements of the deployment. Camouflage patterns based on local terrain is most common, but other designs can also be used. In addition to those field paint schemes, each unit (such as legions) also has a parade field pattern they use for between deployments or on peaceful deployments. For the majority of units, the parade pattern is a base white, along with ranks, formation, and unit insignia.
While this armor is standard issue for troopers of the Mandalorian Empire, Citizens with exos rated at medium or high may wear their own armor instead. Though any such armor is required to otherwise follow uniform standards.

Gladiator-class SDOfficial Designation: Model 50 Ship Role: Destroyer, Carrier Link: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Gladiator-class_Star_Destroyer/LegendsCasket Crew: 0-6 Full Casket Control: No Standard Crew: 60-600 Passengers: 2,000 Length: 600 Armament: 42 E4 Sockets, 10 E3 Sockets Fighter Complement: 30 M20 Drones, 15 starfighters Shuttle Complement: 15 Gunboats Ship Class: Cruiser Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 3 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 2 (Hanger, Modular) Based on the Imperial Gladiator designs, the M50 is the smallest ship considered a true capital ship by the Mandalorian Empire. All smaller vessels are generally classed as escorts. With the exception of some Imperium Cargo Pod variants, it is also the smallest to have a true hanger, instead of just launching racks for M20 drones. The M50 generally carries two squadrons for M20s, one squadron of M21s, and one squadron of M22s. With forty two E4 mounts and another ten E3 mounts, the M50 has a respectable range of firepower. With the addition of the fighters and gunships it carries, it forms the solid core for a task force. It can also serve well either in solo missions, at the head of a few escort ships, or flying as support for larger formations. Finally, the M50 can transport two full battalions of infantry, along with one addition tank or scout battalion. For all these reasons, M50s are one of the most common ships to be seen in Imperium deployments.

Nebula-class SDOfficial Designation: Model 71 Ship Role: Destroyer, Carrier, Command Ship Link: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Nebula-class_Star_DestroyerCasket Crew: 0-35 Full Casket Control: No Standard Crew: 350-3500 Passengers: 8,000 Length: 1,040 meters Armament: 400 E4 sockets, 40 E3 sockets Fighter Complement: 15 fighters, 150 M20 Drones Shuttle Complement: 15 gunships Ship Class: Light Star Destroyer Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 4 Offensive (O): 4 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 3 (Hanger, Modular, Troops) Due to the original design of the Nebula Star Destroyer being far newer than most other designs used by the Mandalorian Empire, the M71 required much less modification from the original design to bring it up to modern imperial standards. The M71 is the workhorse command ship of the fleet. The combination of copious hanger bay space, extensive weapon mounts, and a truly impressive barracks for troops means that the M71 is able to fill nearly any role. This combination of flexibility and power is the reason it is one of the most common capital ships in the fleet, with only the M50 & the M80 designs being more numerous. It generally carries a complement of a wing of M20s, a squadron of M21s, and a squadron of M22s. The troop compartments are able to support eight infantry battalions, one tank battalion, and one scout battalion.

Victory Star DestroyerOfficial Designation: Model 61 Ship Role: Destroyer, Patrol, Blockade Link: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Victory_II-class_Star_Destroyer/LegendsCasket Crew: 0-30 Full Casket Control: No Standard Crew: 300-3000 Passengers: 5,000 Length: 900 meters Armament: 500 E4 Sockets Fighter Complement: 15 fighters, 30 M20 Drones Shuttle Complement: 5 gunships Ship Class: Star Frigates Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 3 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 3 (Hanger, Modular, Troops) Based on the Victory Star Destroyer designs, the M61 is one of the largest capital ships in the Imperial fleet able to freely operate in an atmosphere. While advancements in technology do allow larger modern ships to enter & operate in an atmosphere, it is generally only under heavily restricted circumstances due to the power requirements and strain it places on the ship. In terms of role, the M61 is a direct combatant. With its five hundred E4 sockets it can lay down punishing torrents of fire. Like all other imperial capital ships, the M61 also has space for fighter craft and troops. However, those fighters amount to little more than a token screening element of two squadrons of M20s, a squadron of M21s, and a single flight of M22s. In terms of troops, the M61 is able to carry and deploy five battalions of infantry, though the limited hanger space means it is not well suited to carrying tank or scout battalions.
