*The Trade Outpost was little more than a small, enclosed settlement. Some notable structures within the confines of the outpost included a humble tavern and spaceport.*

A Banshee clothed in the usual Banshee garb, witch made her look like a green mummy (velvet cloth strips of green colour) walked into the Mandalorian camp.
When the first sentry stopped her, she revealed her face, she was Fa, the nightsister.
-Fa- "I have news for your commander, from the Nightsisters. Show me to him."
On her way in, she took a good look at the setup and defences.

The Trade Outpost was a collection of prefabricated buildings that gave the place a very temporary feel, as if the place would disappear into the wild Dathomiri jungle were one to leave it from ones sight for too long. Never originally intended as a permanent location it had slowly become so over the years and, though the population wasn't fixed, people came and left with enough regularity for the place to remain a fixture on the planet.
The Mandalorians had come and had asserted their presence on what was once an undisciplined and rather haphazard town. Now armoured for patrolled what passed for streets, maintaining some kind of lore and order. The guttural snarls of their native language permeated the air and there was a sense of imposing presence everywhere.
He came striding out of a large structure near the center of the outpost like a bear ambling out of its cave and cast an appraising look at the slight female. He smiled. This close to the center of the town she was surely within the bubble of the Yslamiri and would be without her vile sorcery, something he found very satisfying indeed.
He folded his massive arms and spoke, not bothering with offering her his hospitality.
"You have something for me, little witch?"

And now the games really begin.
-Fa- "I do. I have consulted with the coven. We have one agent on corellia. It is through her we are able to determine that the jedi know about your impending attack, they just dont know where.
I have also come to ask you what world you wish to be monitored. I have a team waiting for coordinates and a green light."
The sister didnt care mutch for the change in discipline and order. The Trade Outpost was always as it was, and will always be as it was. A tiny bonsai tree, that needed to be cut now and then. It had grown now, true, but the sisters will reshape it as soon as the mandalorians have gone. Now, she was a good dog, and made her masters happy.
Only problem was, Nightsisters had no real "Masters".

With a noncommittal grunt the big Mando turned and headed over to a bench situated to the left of the prefab hut he had emerged from. Taking his ease on the stone seat he fumbled in his belt pouch, producing a large wet stone. With casual and deliberate ease he slid his beskad saber from its sheath at his right hip, the slightly curved blade glinting in the diffuse sunlight as he turned it over to lay the length along his armoured thigh. The steely hiss as he ran the wet stone along its keen edge was enough to set the teeth on edge, a hauntingly savage sound that gave the impression that the blade itself was in pain from the ministrations.
His eyes flicked up to the woman, his bearded face set in a bland expression of disinterest, giving the impression that whatever news she brought to him was of little import. This was again a studied impression. A way to promote her to make herself useful to the cause. He was under no illusions as to the validity of her grudging compliance and would seek to milk what he could of this reluctant teet.
"What can you tell me of the defenses in the Corellian system? What changes have they made in preparation to our supposed attack?"
He ignored her second question for now, carefully weighing the options. It would bode ill to send an untested and suspect force to any major objective. The witches loyalty was suspect at best and it would be folly to trust them with something vital to their campaign. No. He would leave that for now and see what his line of questioning produced.

He didnt ask the right question. She smiled inside.
"Two questions you ask, two answers you will have. I will confer with the coven. And on the other topic?"

His eyes narrowed and he frowned heavily at her words. It was irksome all this back and forth between them, her not possessing the power to make decisions. It was a stupid way to do things and something that he would tolerate no longer.
"Go back and tell your coven that they should send someone who has the authority to negotiate such things. I don't have time to mollycoddle you in these games. Until you can speak for your people we have nothing more to discuss. Perhaps a lesson in what it means to keep us waiting is in order yes?"

Her visage became dark. Her eyes turned colder and she kinda became taller. Not by centimeters but how she seemed, chest out, body tense. Her voice was venom.
-Fa- "I am NOT going to give you fool-hearty, harsh ramblings, but facts. If you want answers you can trust, you will let us do our part, if you just want answers, I can oblige that too, but our arrangement wont be fruitful to neither of us.
What will it be Ironclad? Real answers, or wind with breath in it?"

He said nothing. As far as he was concerned it wasn't worth negotiating with this puppet. The piercing screech of the wet stone along the edge of the beskad was all that came from him, drifting upon the humid air to mingle with the myriad sounds of the outpost. The sounds of song drifted from afar, carried hither by the faint breeze. It was a raucous tune, obviously a drinking song, and spoke of how quickly the Mandalorians could become accustomed to new settings. The sounds of their occupation where everywhere, the clash of steel upon steel as two warriors sparred each other near a trickling stream, the guttural growls of their native tongue permeating the air, the heavy footfalls of armoured forms making their way to and fro. His eyes remained fixed upon his work, his mind drifting to events prior to his coming here. He had told Corr it would be a waste of time, that Sabine would turn her back on them, scorning their cause. Perhaps she would have been right to do so, his Lord had said, his own trepidation for Ashrah's plan no secret among his brethren. What use could they have for such mystics as these witches; archaic relics of a time before civilisation had taken hold of the outer rim. That these heathens had survived was a wonder, probably owing to the fact that there was nothing on Dathomir worth wiping them out for. Even now the strategic importance was only valid while the Jedi on Yavin IV still stood. Otherwise there were several places where staging would make more sense.
Corr had argued his corner well and eloquently, probably humouring them more than he needed to. His argument had been sound and valid but they had nevertheless got the impression his reasons were other than previously stated. A goal in mind that he was unwilling to divulge at this time. He scowled as he returned the wet stone tot he base of the weapon. Whatever it was it would have to wait. He was certainly not going to chase after answers, begging for their fare like some mangy dog. If they didn't want to divulge then fuck em. He'd just report their unwillingness to comply and let Corr crush them in a mailed fist.
He smiled to himself and continued to ignore her. Perhaps she'd get the hint...

She raised an eyebrow. She had a good couple moments to think over her position. And his.
When she was done she simply gave him the two answers. Wind with breath in it.
"The Corellian sistem is well defended, they have been attacked before and they have a full readiness. They are at war with the Order of the Eye, thus, they would be more then ready against any aggression. Especially since they are one of the main shipyards in Republic Space.
The reaction to the knowledge of you attacking was meditation."
Two question, two answers. SHe had something else to add, but she waited for his reaction.

Since the Nightsisters had been removed from their throne, Shapers and Witches had worked in concert to expand The Trade Outpost. A number of new buildings had been erected, and the spaceport expanded in size slightly to accommodate more ships. One of the biggest changes, was a large palace like building that had been constructed not far from the spaceport. It was surrounded by a several foot tall wall, with a large gardens taking up most of the grounds. In the center, rising several stories high, was the Castle. A company of Metal Shaper's patrolled the estate known as 'Stonehold'. There was also 4 Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery, 20 MAS-2xB Self-Propelled Turbolaser's, and 12 AV-7 Antivehicle Cannon's stationed at the spaceport, acting as a security force. The Nightsister Fortress still remained the main stronghold of the new Kro Var/Dathomiri government. But 'Stonehold' allowed the Trade Outpost to be used as a funnel for visitors from off world

Trooper patrols continued throughout the Trade Outpost, while more and more traffic came and went from Dathomir thanks to its inclusion in the Galactic Alliance. It allowed for access to new resources that had been much harder to get under previous governments. It also provided a new source of revenue for goods that could now be exported to other worlds

The arrival of promises, made by Darth Luxeria, came forth only a few days after the coups initiated within the Sith Worlds. Materials, soldiers, slaves, and more were brought forth by a convoy of transports, burdened with provisions and cargo. With its actions more public, than before, but still a shadowy presence within the galaxy, the Resurgent Sith Conclave reached out to its Nightsister allies and welcomed them into the fold of their order. Nothing would be imposed, save for the presence of a Conclave garrison aid the Nightsisters and ensure their dominance over Dathomir. The slave trade was to certainly explode as the Sith planned to ensure plenty were made available to their allies.
Dathomir was to become an outpost, an arm, of the Resurgent Sith Conclave. The Heirarch did not design nor desire dominance over them. Rather he desired their willing cooperation in the future to come. After all, Sith were set to dominate within their ranks, but the philosophy stated that all of the Dark Sides followers were welcomed. All must unite to fight the Light of the Jedi Order.

The Vindicta and its escort TIE/sf's descended down toward the Trade Outpost. The once mostly enclosed settlement had been expanded and upgraded over the years since the Galactic Empire had first established it. Zahn had read the intel reports regarding the most recent history of Dahtomir and the expansion works that had turned this place into the intended gateway to Dathomir for Outsiders. He was also aware of the First Order's previous mission to Dahtomir which had seen the Imperial Knights work in concert with a dissident group to overthrown the then ruling government. A coalition of Witches and Shapers had allied with the Galactic Alliance and acted as a launching point for strikes deep within the First Order.
With this in mind, Zahn and Aethyr would need to tread carefully. The Nightsisters had been decimated by the Shapers, and their recent reign had only been secured by the Sith, thus a coalition of Witch Clans had quickly regained control of Dathomir. Many of them, Zahn assumed, would remember the First Order's brief interference. While it had been in their favour once, the First Order had stood by when the Nightsisters had enslaved the Witches.
Aethyr, though, seemed unafraid of these challenges as the Vindicta landed at the Spaceport surrounded by the TIE fighters. She had a plan, one which Zahn trusted her in the execution of. If all went well, the First Order would come away from this as allies with the Witches.
Zahn and Aethyr descended the loading ramp clad in their armour and accompanied by Praetor Squad. A delegation of Witches greeted them and lead the way through the Outpost to Stonehold, where several Clan Mothers were seated at a table already. As soon as they walked through the doors, Aethyr took charge of the discussions. As expected, there was some resentment toward the First Order, from those whom had formerly been loyalists to the Shaper/Witch coalition and from the Dissidents the First Order had aided. Aethyr, however, smoothed over some of that resentment and forged a new alliance with the Witches of Dahtomir.
The First Order would take control of the Trading Outpost, garrisoning it with Stormtroopers. It would once again return to its original purpose of a place of trade between the new Empire and the Witches. The First Order would also position Naval assets in orbit to assist with protecting Dathomir. While some resentment lingered still, the First Order had committed to a more active role in Dathomir's defence and acting as a trading partner
As soon as the negotiations had been settled, transport ships from the Hastati streamed down to the surface of Dathomir to take control of and garrison the Trade Outpost. Banners of the First Order were quickly raised across the settlement. Stonehold would act as a headquarters to co-ordinate the initial change over operations until a Moff was assigned to the new holding, at which point it would be handed over as a residence once more

As the First Order had agreed, supplies and troops flowed into the Trade Outpost. Aethyr had remained upon Dathomir and co-ordinated the First Order forces and their build up. New Barracks and a Military Command were planned out and initial construction was begun. Per their agreement, the First Order kept out of the internal politics of the Witches, with the agreement that they would come to the aide of the Witch Coalition should they come together against a single enemy or any invader. In return, traders from across First Order space were more plentiful. The import taxes that had once made doing business with Dathomir prohibitive no longer existed.
It would take time to build up trust between the two groups, to eventually allow them to expand their presence upon Dathomir beyond the Trade Outpost. The first step would be sending teams to the old Praxeum and the Star Temples. Places that would provide valuable artefacts for trading and items which the Imperial Knights and Knights of Ren might find interesting. And for those enterprising individuals, the Jedi and scattered groups of Sith and Darksiders existed beyond the borders of the First Order and might like to acquire items from either location. Suitable compensation and deals could be made to ensure everyone profited. They just needed to reach that stage first

As the weeks turned into months and those months turned into years, the Trade Outpost continued to prosper and upgrade and grow. What had once been a rag tag collection of buildings, which had seen some upgrades and additions under the Coalitions brief tenure, had grown into a town and then a small thriving city. Settling and Immigration to Dathomir was heavily controlled by the First Order. Not only due to the limited space available, but also because of the matriarchal nature of Dathomir society. The complex political situation required finesse and ensuring radicals didn't come striding in and throwing the balance off.
Governor Carmiya Alcyon had been installed not long after the First Order's arrival and proved quite efficient and capable of maintaining the necessary treaties and alliances. Troublemakers and dissidents were dealt with an iron fist by the Governor

Thanks to the efforts of Governor Carmiya Alcyon, teams were allowed to venture out across Dathomir to the old Praxeum and a handful of other older sites. The Star Temples were kept off limits to the First Order, given the dangers technology from within presented to the galaxy at large. One curious mind fumbling a control or item could lead to catastrophic consequences even for Dathomir. It was a position Governor Alcyon agreed with, which was why Stromtrooper Squads accompanied every adventure beyond the walls of the Trade Outpost, to ensure they kept clear of the Temples. Already artefacts were being returned from the Praxeum and getting sold across the markets

Missionaries of the Obsidian Order
As the Obsidian Order, and by extension The Magisterium, continued to expand its reach across the Empire, a Mission was dispatched to Dathomir. A small group arrived to the Witch home world and setup an initial outreach site within the Trade Outpost which had grown over the years. The work here would take time, but Silas had foreseen a vision which involved the Witches of Dathomir, and he much preferred to be prepared for any outcome. The plan would necessitate establishing the Obsidian Order in the Outpost and building a network that would eventually expand out to the Witch clans. How that jump would be made and how successful it would be? Well, such things still remained a mystery to Silas. But the best path forward was to set a plan in motion and adapt along the way

Darth Sirona had come to Dathomir a few days ago under the guise of a trader. This was only to fool the token First Order minions watching over the world. Now that she was landed within the trade post she could get to work. Dathomir, home to the famed Force Witch clans. Of all the Dark side cults and organizations she had read about it was the Nightsisters that had fascinated her the most. An organization devoted to the Dark side that held strong bonds with one another. Where the good of the whole was still put above the needs of the individual sisters. Something, in Darth Sirona's opinion, all other darksiders should learn. After all, most Sith empires came crumbling down due to infighting. Not to mention all the secrets that were lost due to an apprentice murdering their master before all was shared or taught. But the sisters were loyal to their clan, not their own ambition. It was not just the hopes of learning from the Nightsisters and recording their history that brought Sirona here, but she was meeting someone. A contact that had been pointed to her in the past few months. This man was perhaps less of an agent and more of a merchant. A trader who traveled far and wide and could acquire items far easier and with fewer questions. He was due here any day now with Sirona's order. When last they had spoken via holo, he seemed to have hinted at being successful. If all went as planned, this would be the start of the Darth's next steps on her journey. For now though she busied herself and her aids in organizing her many hand written journals and datapad entries. She would need them all and in an organized manor for the task that awaited her.~3 days later~ "Finally" Sirona thought as the communication array on board the XoXaan pinged. A meeting was arranged, she grimaced as he set it for the tavern. So public, he clearly didn't trust her. Smart. As annoying as it would be to tie up that loose end at a later date, it at least gave Sirona the impression that this man was good at what he did. She did not attempt to push the subject, as she needed these materials and didn't need the merchant getting spooked and running off with what would be hers. All the same she had a work around. As she prepared to head to the tavern, Sirona tasked the researchers to continue their work while she would send an EG unit to infiltrate the merchant's ship and sabotage it. She would go alone to the meeting, get what she was owed, and return to start her great work. Many non-natives to the planet thought Sirona a Witch herself, with her pale skin, style of dress, and general mystique. This had served her well, as it meant fewer questions as many simply stayed out of her way. But the tavern was a crowded place, and she would certainly draw a fair bit of attention from both residents and travelers. But this was where she would meet her contact. A worm of a man, he was human. Spoke like someone from the Outer Rim who thought adopting a Core World accent would make them sound more reputable. Sirona saw him for what he was, greedy. He used words that did not fit his mouth, flattery that was as hollow as the Void. Sirona politely sat through the charade, ever more content with her decision to rid the galaxy of this waste of potential. Perhaps in another life he could have been something else, something useful. But decades of selfishness and credits had robbed him of that chance. Finally the moment came and she, passed to him a case loaded with credits and he exchanged it for a case of his own. Sirona opened it to check the contents and for the first time through the encounter, her smile was genuine. Snapping the lid shut, Sirona excused herself, whispering something about him enjoying those credits while he could before departing. That evening there was an explosion in one of the hanger bays, seemed like a botched repair job had crossed some wires and overloaded a ship's reactor. "A shame," people said, "he seemed like an upstanding business man."Sirona made final preparations. Her journals had been cataloged and properly sorted and ordered and loaded within a crate. The bag she usually carried journals in had been repurposed to this time carry materials for a small encampment. It still contained her travel sized archeology tools, but she didn't plan on using those this trip. Enlisting the help of two of her EG units, she made to head off into the wilderness, in search of a proper location to begin construction. A new Holocron was about to be forged.

Sirona and her droids returned to the XoXaan. Her crew had grown and now would start to feel cramped. There were still enough beds, since 6 of the crew were technically droids, but they would still be taking up space in the common areas, labs, and cockpit. In the end Sirona elected to have half of them deactivated and stored in the cargo hold folded compactly and hoped that they were not missed in a crisis. The Lore Hunter was unloaded to make room for the impending Uvak and starfighter Elarinya would be bringing. Once space was made, Sirona signaled the Sith woman to come and meet them at the Trading Outpost. The Imps hadn't quite sunk their roots in here yet, but it was only a matter of time and Sirona wished to be away well before that. While waiting on Elarinya's arrival she would check in with her other new additions. Athell and Elonna were soaking in the bacta tanks normally used for keeping samples fresh in, but they served just as well for medical purposes. Besides, it was the perfect excuse to gather biological data on Dathomirin natives. Though they did not need to know that at the moment. Maywyn and Tesh had settled in to the quarters set aside for them and the other Nightsisters, once recovered. Both expressed excitement and apprehension at the prospect of going off world, but agreed it was the best option. Once the sound of the approaching fighter could be heard, Sirona went to the hangar to greet the newest passenger, honestly more interested in examining her pet than anything else. Sirona had instructed the droids that were still active to gather a large amount of straw and lay a bed for the creature in the spot next to where Elarnya's fighter would land.
