As the Felstorm came back up into orbit, the crew were already busy working to triangulate and program in its next hyperspace route to Zakuul. Forming the first Gem had certainly knocked him down, but Valefor was hopeful the next few would get easier with time. But there was also every chance that would not be the case. For now, however, the travel time to Zakuul would present a good chance to rest and recover. The Star Pyramid moved to the edge of the planet's gravity well before disappearing in a blur of motion

Continued from here... The lesson concluded with Sirona first demonstrating to Elarinya and then guiding her in the creation of a minor salve of healing. It was a slimy substance that could be smeared over minor wounds and cause them to knit back together, although it would as if being cauterized during the process. Sirona found Elarinya's work adequate for a beginner, silently chalking up any slip ups to the inherent awkwardness that was now laying thick over the lab. But as the lesson came close to an end, the shipwide alert chimed out, informing the crew and passengers of their imminent arrival at Dromund Kaas. Now, time to find out what your Father thought we would find so interesting here...

She could have spent countless hours listen to Sirona explain and guide her through a process before attempting to recreate it over and over again. There certainly were some unintended mistakes as a result of the awkwardness which had distracted Ela at key points during the explanation. But there were a couple she made intentionally if only to marvel at her friend's calm and extremely well put together explanations. However, all good things had to come to an end. Ela was finishing putting the stopped in a vial as the chime rung out alerting them to their arrival at Dromund Kaas.
She was back here again.
Ela leaned forward against the workstation, gathering her strength as she let her head hang forward for a moment. The fun and happiness she'd felt moments ago seemed to drain from her as part of her couldn't help but wonder why her Father had sent them here. Was this stop along the way meant to be a trip down memory lane to remind her of the defeat she'd suffered here at his hands? It would seem a bold move to count on Sirona having brought Ela along after the fight they'd had, but maybe...Yes let's... Go on ahead, I'll meet you on the bridge, I just have to grab something quickly...Before Sirona could object, Ela pushed herself from the work station and carried the vial with her out of the lab. Her lightsabers bounced upon her hips as she navigated the hallways back to the hangar bay where her starfighter and the crate within which Ymir was sleeping awaited her. It was the storage crate to which she headed for, her hand working the controls on a panel which seemed ordinary but which, when activated the right way, opened a secret sealed compartment. A panel in the base of the contained popped out and Ela fished out Headsman, the dagger that had been gifted to her by Lord Dragus. She belted it around her waist, keeping the dagger upon the small of her back. But as she was closing the first compartment, a second compartment popped open.
To the Sith Warriors knowledge, there was only one sealed compartment within this container - at least that she had ever used - so she had no idea what would rest within this second one. She slid the drawer out and almost instantly recognized the dagger that she had picked up upon Roon. The Handle handle looked a lot more refreshed, there was now a glowing gem within the hilt, and the blade was sheathed in a scabbard, but she knew what it was. She reached in and withdrew the weapon, at which point she noted the card that sat beneath it and the necklace that was wrapped around the handle. A quick inspection of both told her the necklace was the gift Sirona had taken from Room whilst the card was scribbled with "Congratulations - V". He'd certainly taken his time getting these items back to them, but she supposed better late than never.
She attached the dagger to her belt alongside a small pouch into which she slipped the vial of healing salve and the necklace. She pushed the compartment closed and headed up to the Bridge to find SironaHey, you're never going to...She caught sight of the view outside the viewport and came to a stop. Even though she was somewhat aware of what to expect, nothing prepared her for the sight of the two halves of the Conclave Star Cathedral that seemed to float in the void. Debris littered orbit from the chunks of the station that had exploded and were missing alongside the wrecks of ships that she had lost in the fight. It was a dark reminder of what had happened here and the defeat she suffered. Nothing seemed to be out there, even the sensor scans seemed to only pick up debris. But something suddenly lanced through them in the Force from the surface of the planet, drawing Ela from her brief melancholy and looking straight at SironaDid you feel that?

Sirona had gone straight to the bridge of the XoXaan to coordinate the approach and watch the scanners. By the time Ela joined her on the bridge, she was looking out the view port at the wreckage floating in space. Her fingers flexed in and out of fists as she looked upon the tattered remains of Sith vessels that had fought one another, in what now especially seemed a pointless waist, given how they both were ranking members of Valefor's Sith Eternal. The rage seeping from Sirona was palpable in room. Darksider on Darksider violence was something she detested. It was what set her apart from nearly all of her peers. But here she had been sent to look upon the aftermath, practically right after the coup. Was Valefor testing her? The thought just made her angrier. She hardly noticed when Elarinya was speaking. But something did cut through the storm cloud of her growing anger and bitterness, like the light in the eye of a storm. And it was accompanied by Elarinya's question. She had not expected to feel this sensation or presense ever again. It was like two familiar voices had called to her at once. Beckoning her home. Her two earliest masters... one a Jedi she killed, the other a Sith spirit she had allowed to possess her and then thought she had destroyed. But she could feel them, reaching up from below... Yes... Sirona finally replies in a whisper of someone lost in memory. I feel them. My first teachers. One Jedi, one Sith. Where my life began anew... She shook her head, trying to clear it, but it was like trying to get sludge off of a dianoga; it wasn't going to happen. Leaning over the back of the pilots chair, she reached over him and punched in coordinates that she thought had been long forgotten, not even needing to check her oldest journals, the memory simply returned. Take us here. Land as close as you can, and everyone is to stay aboard. Activate all the EG droids, they and the Nightsisters will protect you while I... finish things. The crew nodded and set about making her orders reality. But all Sirona could do now is stare past the wreckage hanging in orbit, and back down at the dark, swampy planet she had once visited.

=Sometime after Sirona and Ela’s adventure=
The Tûaradi erupted from hyperspace at blistering speeds, its pace slowing slightly as it adjusted to real space. Unlike his trip to Sarrassia, Karnac had a solid idea of where he'd begin his search. A few temples existed on the surface, one not being far from Kaas City. Time had allowed nature to take over again, and several caverns were shaped within its walls. There was also the Dark Force Temple, though it was far less likely to hold anything, at least anything natural. If the Vexxtal crystal he sought existed there, it'd likely be due to its collection at one point and left behind. There were more than a few caverns around the area as well that he could explore if the first two options failed.
As he grew closer to the world, the Zabrak couldn't help but sit back in his chair and look upon the planet. It was far from his first excursion here. The very first time was when he was with the Blackguard Imperium. They had come to claim the Sith worlds, Dromund Kaas especially. A man claiming to be Darth Millennial once held the planet and clashed with the Sith. The truth to the man's identity didn't matter much to Karnac. All he knew was that this "prophet" was not the one who first utilized that name.
But that time certainly wouldn't be the last he'd stand upon its surface. It wasn't but a short time before the Resurgent Sith Conclave rose within the Blackguard, breaking away and taking hold of the Sith worlds, utilizing their placement to their advantage. Following his first master, Lady Vesperia, he joined with them. This brought many missions and bits of training over the many worlds of the area, including here. Its terrain and many forms of life brought forth a savagery that was rarely found elsewhere. No doubt he'd have to face such challenges again before his departure.
As he began breaching the planet's atmosphere, he noticed one thing that stood out. The presence of others. Or rather, the lingering echo of people familiar to him. It had been seven years, and while the two essences he felt were a bit different and stronger, he was confident they belonged to Sirona and Elarinya. He had learned of Sirona's place in the Sith Eternal and her promotion and figured she wasn't without her usual companion. Perhaps someday, they would cross paths once more. But it wouldn't be this day. He only needed to focus on locating the crystal he desired.
