"Very well, then so it be." Her spontaneous answer made clear that she was definitly interested. While leaving the room, Kasalle could feel the look of Prometheus, who silently had remained within the corner in order to guard her. The Novatrooper had not much to do, but this neither meant that he had overslept the conversation. "I trust so far an Imperial Knight to escort me safely through the town area, therefore I will only need you at the shuttle, Prometheus", she then said, adressing the Novatrooper Commander actually by the squad name, not by the actual number he was assigned with, "I know that this is already the third time, where we suspected an attempt to end my life, but no need to be overcareful. Inform Colonel Asmus and the rest of your squad that we will take the next shuttle in around an hour in order to inspect the military training - however, I won't stop the Colonel from overseeing his own operation." "Understood, madame", the trooper merely responded before he vanished within the city area, operating even in civil nearly as swiftly as a silent ghost, who just follows a protocol. Seeing that it wouldn't provide any further complications, she then turned back towards Lucien. "In the end they're just doing their job, therefore I had to say it", she then noted, "I would have considered to possible assemble some Carbonite war droids instead as a bodyguard in order to keep my own men safe from accidents like the one at Mygeeto recently, but droids have their limits unlike skilled human beings. So I trust my Novatroopers... yet I wish I wouldn't have to keep them around me due to my position."

"Such are the times we live in, unfortunately. I can guarantee that you'll be safe for the rest of today. After all, you've got a big, bad Imperial Knight protecting you..."
While the last part of this would seem extremely self-centered, Lucien had a feeling Jenia would understand the obvious sarcasm but would feel safer at his reassurance nonetheless. Holding the door open for the admiral, the two of them stepped out of the small customs office together, the evening now in full swing. The previously yellowish shades of the sun had given way to a beautiful gold color that illuminated the stone edifices of the city, almost like a scene out of a dream. The two of them set off at a medium pace down the alley that the customs office opened onto. While at some points, this road would be extremely busy, at this point in time, the road was thankfully devoid of any large glut of traffic, making the journey that much easier. The unique architecture of the planet was said to be certain to impress, and it did not disappoint today. However, Lucien found it difficult to focus on anything else but Jenia herself. She was pretty, sure, but there was something else to it. An illusiveness of some kind. Perhaps it was because her life was so orderly, and his anything but. After all, it was said opposites attract. Putting that aside, for now, the two of them began making their way down the boulevard. After a few moments of awkwardly staring at each other, silently admiring the details of the other's face in the better light, Lucien decided he would try and break the awkwardness that had seemingly engulfed their entire conversation.
"You mentioned earlier you are from Prakith; how is it there?"

Jenia made a brief pause, as she pondered how to best describe it. The landscape and even the architecture differed quite a lot from what they saw within the heart of Pesktda. "Prakith was darker than this place, probably the complete opposite", she then stated polite, while they walked alongside the busy streets, "Wheras Garqi is a tropical paradise with bustling towns, my homeplanet is an imperial fortress world for a reason. Most of it's landscape is covered in volcanic stone, making life on the planet hardly possible. My family owns a mining buiseness on the planet, owning a mansion at the capital city's outskirts. We had a rough time to keep it short, as due to its status as a military world, there were always problems and conflicts, which tore my family, sort of, apart. When the Fel Empire fell, my parents sent me to Kuat in order to become an imperial officer - wheras afterwards I assumed command command as a captain, when the Imperial Remnant overtook the planet, forming at the time the Deep Core Remnant. I served in Delvardus' fleets for quite a long time as a minor officer and thus decisions weren't always easy - especially not, when tensions arose between the New Order of the Eye and the Remnant - and not to speak of the time, when Lord Sinistra occupied larger portions of the galaxy, thus testing my loyality."
As they went alongside the alleys, framed by bimiza trees, they eventually entered an area, known as the Tadrin Grand Park - more or less the center of the city, revealing it's green heart. Jenia enjoyed the calm atmosphere of the local area in contrast to the description of her homeworld and the struggle she felt, tied with it, thus looking up towards the Imperial Knight once more. "If there is one reason, why I follow the First Order, it is because I witnessed times, where the Empire wasn't unified under one great leader, Master Needa... or... however you knights like to adress yourselves", she then added bitter, though on a positive side, "Without this unity, my family would still suffer from the attrocities of local dictators and sith lords, who tended to threaten the upper class whenever they liked. That is why my loyality lies with the one man, who could lead us into a gouvernment, which must be similiar to the Empire, which the Fel Emperors had established. Persons like Pellaeon and the Fels reformed the Empire in a way, that we still have a purpose, even after Endor - and Delvardus continiues their legacy in a good way."
She paused once more looking nearly apologizing, as they went along a cafe area nearby the park. "I apologize myself, if this talk was more about private matters than my homeplanet, but... I guess you can reason why I stretched it to this extent", she solely brought out, unsure if Lucien would appreciate it well. Apart from her closest advisors, she rarely spoke with anyone about herself and her family's history.

"As I said earlier, call me Lucien."
Lucien gave Jenia an understanding look, gently squeezing her hand in a comforting gesture as he did. Such a story was not unfamiliar to him since, in many ways, his life story was very similar. At one point he had been in a similar situation. He had been ripped from his parents at birth by the New Republic during their campaign to wipe the Empire from the galaxy, and he had spent the time after that merely wandering from place to place, not really doing much, before joining the Galactic Alliance's military. At the time, he was certain that he was helping make a positive change in the galaxy, bringing about the order that Jenia spoke of. Now, however, if there was one thing he was certain of, it was that the Alliance did not have the answer.
"Hey, there's no need to apologize. I understand. I was in a similar situation when the Rebellion separated me from my parents through their warmongering. I've only recently rediscovered my father, though I'm afraid it was too late for my mother..."
At this point, the sun had set substantially enough that the clouds had turned a moody color, with the sky still remaining yellow. Thus, the wrought iron lamps lining the park flickered to life, bathing the area in a golden-hued light. As such, the nearby restaurants had begun their dinner service.

"My apologizes", Jenia solely answered, as there wasn't anything else she could say - she hardly knew anything about Needa's family and given that Lucien was the admiral's son, she meant it honest, as she respected the man. Yet again she wasn't really good when it came to these matters, as she knew that words could hardly fix anything. She endured similiar events within her past, though still in a different way. With some of the restaurants opened, she eventually pondered if she should invite Lucien - after all too much walking around the whole day wasn't too comfortable, especially not for herself. "You mind if we take a seat?", she then asked wondering, taking the chance to invite him, "I assume for our talk a table might be more suitable." Waving a strain of her silver hair aside, she wondered whether he was interested within the offer or not.

"Of course. It's getting to be that time of the day."
The two of them walked into a nearby restaurant which was serving dinner patio style, on an open area in front of the place. The square in which they stood was becoming increasingly lively, with a small group of artists performing by a fountain by the area where the restaurant square spilled onto the street. Sitting down in at a small, semi-enclosed area separated from the rest of the noise in the courtyard, Jenia and Lucien could still hear the faint whispers of music drifting up onto the otherwise deserted balcony, enclosed by a small, wrought iron fence. A waiter came to put a basket of immaculately crisp bread on the table and took their orders, before retreating back into the Beaux-Arts building, leaving the two of them alone once again.
"There isn't any need to apologize... it wasn't your fault."
Still softly holding her hand, he added onto the end of the previous statement.
"Still, I appreciate the sentiment."

Jenia nodded, taking his reaction as a good sign. He really seemed to care about her, although she was still catious. Many men, especially her own officers tried more than just one time to flirt with her - most of them pointless as she figured out quickly that their intions weren't necessarily those which one would assume on a romantic kind of level. Thus she was more open, but still reserved. "I was just honest, that's all", she merely replied, while looking up into the sky, where some of the Imperial ships could be still seen within the distance, "I'm not necessarily open for smalltalk, but you can expect me to speak open about any kind of matters. After all I still benefitted from a good education before I went to the academy. To some point it really changes you personality-wise, when you have served already on so many ships, knowing each day that your duty decides the fates of many, who serve amongst you." She then gave him a short look. "I'm glad that I can just spend finally one moment where I don't have to worry... hopefully.", she then admitted.

Lucien gave her a reassuring look, nodding his head slightly. It was likely that Jenia never had a particularly good experience with romance in the past, as a high ranking officer surrounded by men who likely had less than noble intentions when approaching her. Thus, he could understand the admiral's caution, as she was unlikely to leap into a relationship headlong. A positive trait to have in Lucien's eyes.
"You know, you are truly committed to something larger than yourself. That's more than I can say of most people in the galaxy. You deserve some time to rest."
Following this comment, Lucien looked deeply into Jenia's eyes, and she looked back at him with a slight sparkle playing along her iris. Within his eyes, Jenia would be able to read a look of understanding, since both of them had shared a similarly adventurous life up to this point. Hell, he had spent the week before this one being hunted by the First Order and the Galactic Alliance alike. In many ways, this outing was proving to be a badly needed escape from reality for both of them. So there they sat, with Jenia's hands firmly clasped by Lucien's in a comforting gesture. The waiter returned silently with a bottle of wine and two glasses, but neither of them dared move yet, for fear of spoiling the moment.

Jenia barely knew where to put Lucien. He seemed to be honest and upright, which was in the end a good thing. Not to mention that he was so far listening to most of her points - or at least gave her the feeling that he did. Thus she didn't mind the touch. It was at least one time, where she could be free of her duty for a moment. And Jenia appreciated that, even if it would take time for her to get used to it. Eventually she looked once more towards the young Needa, her eyes looking straight into his.
"Maybe I do", she then sighed, sounding however fond about it, "What about you, Lucien? I assume you neither have it easy as one of the Imperial Knights." It was a rhetoric question, but maybe one he would answer. He knew now a lot about her, but she barely knew anything about him other than his past being as difficult as hers and that he was the son of the man under whom she served at the battle of Mon Calamari.

Perhaps Lucien should have anticipated such a response, from someone such as Jenia. She had likely in the past been faced with superiors who, for the most part, discarded her arguments, and gave no heed to who she was as a person, only as to how much she could serve to bolster the power of their fleet. Or what she would look like gracing their bedsheets.
"Well, you know how it is. A little attacking the rebels here, some defending the Empire there... it's an adventurous life and not one for the faint of heart or mind."
Lucien still wore the previous expression for the most part, but there was some subtle confidence playing across his face. Nothing to signal overconfidence, but rather steadiness. Understanding but his capabilities and his limitations. It was at this point that the waiter returned and, seeing as the wine had not been poured yet, opened the bottle and filled the two glasses with the chilled, dark liquid, as well as setting their dinner onto the table.

With the dinner going so far smoothless, Jenia tended to enjoy the meal in a seemingly emotionless state, as it tasted so far good but wasn't anything special - yet compared to the rations they had on board of the Star Destroyers it tasted marvelous, thus allowing her at least to appreciate the kind invitation of Lucien. After having drunken some wine, she sighed, looking up to Needa once more. "I wish I could see it your way as well... Lucien", she then said, trying to get used at seeing this as a mostly personal conversation, "Thus making me even wonder why you would choose to meet such a dull person like myself. Space is hardly an adventure for me, it became mainly routine, interrupted by the battles against our enemies. So I hope you're not disappointed to have found one of the more boring fleet admirals as your date." The last part was more jokingly meant, but given Kasalle's dry tone it could be easily mistaken for something, which was seriously said. In the end though she was nontheless glad to enjoy those few spare moments she had with him.

Lucien couldn’t help but to chuckle a bit at Jenia’s dry sarcasm. It certainly wasn’t what he was used to, fighting for the Rebels, but it seemed to be the standard fare among the Empire, among those who had a sense of humor at all. Still, though, it was evident that Kasalle was not used to these sorts of interactions. Indeed, he wouldn’t have been surprised if it was the first time she had taken to truly relax in months. Evidently, she needed to spend some more time away from the cold, echoey, monotonous corridors of Star Destroyers and spend some more time on herself.
“Ms. Kasalle, if you are one of the most boring fleet admirals of all, then the Imperial Navy must be one very lively show. I can’t even imagine what those you consider ‘interesting’ would be like.”
Even though these words were very clearly a joke, there was a seed of truth that shined through, as evidenced by the twinkle in Lucien’s eye. She may have considered herself to be “boring”, but the reality was, in Lucien’s mind, that she had simply allowed herself to see herself as boring, and that the seeds of liveliness were buried deep down in her. Indeed, her very coming with him to dinner this evening proved that fact.
“Sure, the job has its dull bits, but when all’s said and done, you’ve got some good men, hell, several planets worth of men, that you fight to keep safe. Where others simply place words, you take action. And in my book, that makes you more glamorous than any other person in the galaxy.”

Well, the young Needa was sure provocative, wasn't he? Yet to some portion it amused Jenia, even though she wouldn't admit it, as her eyes looked into his for a brief moment. "I doubt that men like Thrawn and Pellaeon would have considered themselves glamourous, so it's not like you have to make me unnecessary compliments", she replied solely in a friendly tone, "But you are right, when it comes to my men and the Empire for which they fight. I don't need medals or promotions for what I do, I simply do it in order to protect those, who would suffer otherwise under a different leadership. Only the First Order can guarentee this safety in my eyes as no matter how often the Empire has fallen, it always returned from the ashes like a phoenix, stronger and more unified than before." A brief pause followed. "And on a short note, I'd like to hear what would be your imagination of me being 'glamourous', if you insist on me being this kind of person.", she then teased, while they still dinned at the table, "Other than my uniform I wouldn't even know what to wear anymore, if I'm honest."

Evidently, she was somewhat amused by his teasing, even if she tried to hide it. Her continuation of the subject proved that point. With a slight twinkle in his eye, he decided to continue this little jest.
"Why, Miss Kasalle, I don't have to imagine anything, you look lovely right now. In fact, I am quite positive that you would look glamorous regardless of what you were wearing."
With a wink, he appended a statement onto the end of his comment.
"Except maybe for a helmet. No point in it if you are hiding your face."

Some people tend to forget that." She paused for a brief moment as he really seemed to try hard. But well, at least Lucien was honest and open about it. "We wouldn't have that talk if I would be a male admiral, right?", she then responded after a while, having so far finished her meal, "You know that I am a tactician for a reason, not necessarily because I look pretty and earn compliments for it or because I was born within one of the upper class families. Therefore I'm not sure if you are aware that I recieve compliments like these quite often - you're solely in luck that you maneuvered me into a situation where I can't ignore it. So to say an interdictor field." She actually took one of the paper serviettes, knitted in a triangular shape and layed it on the table, just as if she wanted to show the imagery of a star destroyer. "But would you be prepared for me dismantleing it if I find a good way to do so?" Her eyes darted his for a moment, keeping to her formal appearence. There was a glimmer of her actually enjoying the situation as some sort of tactical battle, yet it was only seen for a brief moment.

Lucien feigned being hurt by putting his hand on his heart, and the crossing of a seemingly sour expression; however, it did not take an ISB Officer to see the smile playing on the edge of his lips, and the twinkle in his eye.“Miss Kasalle, you should know by now, I’d never forget where your eyes are.” Her final comment raised his eyebrow, as he considered her statement. She was clearly skilful at this sort of thing, and he was playing a dangerous game. There were certainly easier pursuits, but for some reason or the other he had chosen Jenia. It might have been the force’s doing; the entity always had a habit of never making things quite so simple as one might have liked. “I’ve heard wonders of your tactical successes, and I respect them, even though I may not fully understand them. Never really had a mind for large-scale tactics...” However, he was quite fond of duels of wordplay, and this last statement filtered into this very well.“And I’d encourage it, I’d hate to see a good argument go to waste...”

In the end however she didn't say anything regarding his words, as she wasn't sure what to make out of it. She got along with him, yet his view of the galaxy was different than hers, she figured. Maybe this was one of the main reasons why some considered her as cold. Not that she complained about it, within the navy it was even good to be known as someone untouchable. Yet, at this moment she realized for the first time in a long time that she couldn't even enjoy a simple dinner with a stranger. One she whatsoever even allowed to invite her for one. Had she already become so stiff due to her job?
"I hope then that my talk about tactics doesn't bore you then", she then asked politely, "It seems like we do not necessarily share the same interests, so... my apologizes if things get complicated too quickly with me." Which tends to happen a lot!

“I have to learn about Imperial Tactics from somewhere, and I’d rather it be from you then from some instructor who has a stick so far up how back, he probably couldn’t relax in a chair even if he wanted to.”
He contemplated for a moment, before deciding to append something to his previous remark about tactical discourse.
“Besides, an instructor would likely not know the first thing about practical battlefield tactics, what with how concerned he’d be about following some manual or another. No... I’m partial to hearing it from you.”
There was of course, the unspoken “because you’re quite beautiful”, but there was no need for that. Both he and she understood that very well. But he wasn’t lying when he said he’d prefer hearing it from Jenia. No doubt, the way the Empire operated tactically was likely very different from the Rebellion, and there was probably some sort of handbook or manual several volumes long about the topic. He was used to hearing strategies told by the person who executed them, and he much preferred that. Added a more... insightful element into the commander’s thought process.
By this point, both of them had finished their meals and were now just staying out for the fun of it. Not that Lucien minded; it had, admittedly, been a long time since he had had any meaningful female company.

To some point she was surprised, as his answer seemed to be honest... maybe she had underestimated him? She actually wanted to know now - and given that he supposedly was an Imperial Knight it couldn't hurt if she would go this route.
"If you want to learn new tactics, I'm not sure if I am the best person for coordinating a ground battle as I leave this area of military expertise apart from a few logistical aspects to Colonel Asmus and my military officers", she then said after a while, "But if it comes to space combat and tactical expertise there, I can teach you the basics with pleasure, Mister Needa. What would you think if we leave the evening be evening and will fly tomorrow by a shuttle to the Banshee, my personal flagship? From what we were talking about earlier I'm not all too sure if you're too keen on watching Stormtroopers and Imperial walkers on their march upon the ground, so overseeing things from the lower orbit of the planet aboard a star destroyer might rather be of your interest? There's plenty to show and on board I have more than enough simulations stored for training." Of course she left open the question of where she would spend the rest of the night, given that it was late admittedly, but she wanted to hear his answer first. There was something demanding in her cold stare, that showed the young Needa, that Jenia wanted this question to be answered.

To some point she was surprised, as his answer seemed to be honest... maybe she had underestimated him? She actually wanted to know now - and given that he supposedly was an Imperial Knight it couldn't hurt if she would go this route.

There was something demanding in her cold stare, that showed the young Needa, that Jenia wanted this question to be answered. Lucien nodded his head. This arrangement worked out well for him; he'd get some firsthand exposure to First Order operating policy, and simultaneously be able to spend some time with Jenia. Both of which are things he planned to do anyway."I'd be glad to. As I said previously, I have to learn this stuff anyway if I'm going to be an effective part of the First Order." He noticed the seemingly demanding look he was being given by Jenia, and could sense there was certainly more behind this then she was letting on. Perhaps his senses were being muddled, perhaps not. But he could certainly feel the change in her demeanor from the rest of the night. Whereas for the rest of the dinner she had seemed relaxed and opening up to him, now she wanted something. Behind the cold stare lay some sort of smoldering ember, and he was somewhat curious as to what this entailed.
