"I can't afford it," Adelle said with a shrug. Sarah felt comfortable in a cocktail dress and heels? More power to her then. Adelle had worn fancy clothes: the nature of her previous duties at CorSec demanded it. But that had always been with a cover. It had always been an act. Adelle brushed her bangs out of her face, squinting against the Honoghri evening sun. "So, where to?"

Sarah ushered Adelle into the speeder. She could have brought up that tonight was on her once again, but it was better to enjoy the night than argue over it. With a nod, the driver of the luxury speeder piloted the craft up into the air and started off through the streets of Nystao There's a place I always enjoy going to. It doesn't look like much, but the food is to die for. The speeder took a couple turns, going along one of the main boulevards before taking a turn down several streets. Finally setting down in front of a fairly modest looking restaurant. Emblazoned across the balcony of the store, was the name The Red Rose. Unlike most places that had holo signs, this was written in good old fashion wood. Sarah disembarked the speeder first, motioning for Adelle to follow. The couple windows in the front of the shop, set on either side of a pair of large wooden doors, showed the place was currently empty. Wait staff could be seen moving around inside Here we are... Sarah offered her arm out then, before leading the way inside. A pair of waiters pulled the doors open then, before the maître d' showed them to their table situated right in front of the stage. The staff pulled the two chairs out, waiting for Sarah and Adelle to be seated I called in a couple favours and got the place booked for us tonight...

During the drive over, Adelle kept bouncing her leg while she made small talk with Sarah. The speeder and the dress put her on edge. She'd been expecting Sarah to slum it—and maybe she really was—and hit up a nightclub or a dive bar somewhere. Cheap drinks, cheap food, loud music. Moving vaguely rhythmically but mostly sexually to the chest-pounding beat of some popular dance song. The Nystao downtown blurred past the tinted windows, bright holo-signs already lighting up the sides of businesses. They pulled up in front of an older building. No rope, no bouncer, no lines or the reverberations of a hard beat. No holo-sign blazed outside the doors. The building looked worn but well-kept and its architecture looked much older than the other fronts around them. Adelle followed Sarah out of the vehicle, hardly noticing her beckoning. The restaurant held her full attention. A wooden sign—she hadn't seen one outside the backwater planets—instead proclaimed the venue's name: The Red Rose. Poetic, if a little pretentious. A glance through the windows showed the place as deserted even though the full wait staff milled about inside. On a night like tonight, in a city as growing and populated as this, it should have been full. What the hells was this?
Sarah seemed pleased with herself as she announced that they were at their destination. Adelle still felt a little slack-jawed.
"I've . . ." She struggled to find the right words. "I don't think I've ever been to a place like this."
The redhead offered her arm and, unsure of what else to do, Adelle took it lightly in her hand. Ushers opened the doors for them, silent and spotless in their uniforms. As the maitre d' approached them with a professional smile on her face, Adelle expected to be asked for their reservations. But there was nothing more than a "Right this way." Not even a fuss about Adelle's bare feet, her dirty soles sinking into the plush carpeting. Their table sat front and center in front of a stage, and waiters were there to pull out their chairs for them. Adelle thanked the waiter on her chair quietly then put her head in her hands, trying to collect her thoughts.
"I called in a couple favours and got the place booked for us tonight," Sarah said off-handedly.
"A couple?" Adelle stared at the other woman incredulously. "This— I don't even— How! Who are you? And why the hells are you slumming it with me?"

Sarah watched Adelle with curiosity. It was quite apparent her companion was rather unused to such treatment. Perhaps she had grossly miscalculated what to spend the night doing. But at the same time, going to a nightclub would have been far too normal. Adelle was not normal. She was special, different to everyone else she had met. To waste an opportunity like this would have been foolish. Though, she couldn't help but wonder if the extra attention was equally foolish. She met Adelle's gaze then, as the woman questioned her I guess that really depends who you ask, as to who exactly I am... To many, I'm just a Nurse at the RDMC. A brilliant one at that. To the Honoghr Conclave, I am considered a Master Healer that dabbles in certain arts. To some, well, you can guess based on our discussion earlier today. But to others still... well they may tell you a very different story about who I am... Sarah looked to the stage then, her attention shifting to it's emptiness. Ordinary people took to it to live a lie. To be someone else that had perhaps once been alive. But where performers were limited to a small expanse of floor. Sarah performed her act throughout the galaxy. Her very life was a lie performed on a daily basis But to the owner of this restaurant. I'm the person that helped save the life of her and her son. Even on a world as safe and secure as this, accidents happen. I was on my way home one night, when one such accident happened. I was able to stabilise and heal their wounds enough until the ambulances could arrive. If I had not been there, then they would died. Which, I expected no recompense for. After all, it is my job on a daily basis to save people's lives... Sarah turned back to Adelle then, her attention upon her companion for the night She has insisted for years that she owes me for what I did. Her naming this place after me was a kind enough gesture. But some people are incessant about repaying me more. So, I told her that this would settle it. A quiet night for just the two of us. As to why I'm apparently slumming it with you. Well... I wouldn't say I'm slumming it. I'm spending an evening with someone that I'm interested in. True, our wardrobes are a little different. But I am by no means some super star. Just... in the right place at the right time I suppose...

Adelle leaned on the table as Sarah told her story, feeling her eyebrows inch higher the more the nurse said. Still, there had to be some truth to the tale. She was, after all, sitting in a very nice restaurant in downtown Nystao, devoid of all customers except for Sarah and herself. True or false, she couldn't say it really mattered in the long run. She was here for one purpose.
"Quite an impressive story," Adelle said, leaning back in her chair. She smirked. "Now if only I could get so lucky."

A mischievous look crossed her face then, as Sarah smirked at Adelle. All hope was not yet lost for the night Oh... the night is still young... There is still plenty of time. A handful of servers came out then and placed down a selection of soups, salads, and breadsticks for them to start their meal off with. Performers came out onto the stage to begin the show, which appeared to be a cabaret musical act. A small card was also placed on the table next to Sarah and Adelle, listing what would be served for the following courses. The maitre d' then handed them both a copy of the drinks list, with Sarah glancing over the top of it at Adelle Any preference drink wise?

Adelle smirked. "Strong and Corellian. I'm a simple girl, Sarah. This menu is way beyond my usual tastes."

Strong and Corellian she said. Well, then there was only one drink for such an occasion then Whyren's Reserve it is then...
Excellent choice Ma'am... The maitre d' took the drink list then and disappeared into the back, returning a few moments later with the bottle and a pair of glasses. After pouring their initial glasses, he disappeared. Leaving the couple alone To a night of good food and plenty of fun... Sarah tipped her glass to Adelle then, before having a drink of it. The first taste was always the strongest, and it was good. Undoubtedly one of the rarer batch's she guessed. Sarah then placed the glass back upon the table. She was fairly confident that drinking was going to be a bad idea in the long run. It was hard enough controlling herself when she was sober. Doing so when drunk was almost impossible So... How long are you on Honoghr for? Now that you are up and about a little, I imagine you'll be allowed to leave soon?

"Chakta sai kai," Adelle said, reciting an Old Corellian toast. She took a sip of the liquid fire, feeling its bite at the back of her throat. She felt it burn at her brain and settle in her stomach as she rested the glass on the table. "Only had a follow-up yesterday. I'm here for however long I want to be."
She took another sip of whiskey, feeling bolder. "Which might be some time. But I'm sure you have work and family so I won't monopolize it. Or at least, all of it."

Well, that sounded promising. At the very least, it meant her recovery was coming along just fine. It also meant that so long as she could entice Adelle to stay, she would stick around. Which was a whole other prospect in and of itself. But putting too much thought into that would be getting a little ahead of herself. First she needed to make it through tonight. She took her own sip of whiskey then Time can be stretched for as long as we need it... And for you, I would very much enjoy such a prospect... The servers brought out several starter dishes then, quickly setting them on the table. Sarah placed her glass upon the table again

Adelle smiled slyly. "I bet you would."

To be honest, she didn't remember much of the dinner. She didn't remember any of the misgivings she'd had beforehand. She didn't remember how many bottles of Whyren's Reserve she'd had to go through to actually get drunk. She didn't remember eating or tasting food or drink. She didn't remember what other subtle and not-so-subtle innuendos she and Sarah volleyed. By the time she and Sarah left the restaurant and slid back into the luxury speeder, Adelle's mind could only see red hair and flashing eyes, the scent of citrus and liquor heavy in her lungs. She didn't remember who first moved but she knew the taste of Sarah's lips, the smooth metal of her piercing, the warmth of her jaw.
Adelle couldn't remember much from dinner but to be honest, she didn't care.

Sarah had held on for as long as she could, her control slipping with each passing hour and glass of Whyren's Reserve. But when at last she did concede her control, it was intoxicating. She had felt relief before when at last she gave in. But this was something else entirely. Time seemed to blur together as they left the restaurant. The driver taking them back to Sarah's apartment. Her hands exploring Adelle's body as they took the elevator up to Sarah's apartment. Clothes quickly started disappearing and being tossed across the room. The last thing Sarah really remembered, was laying down upon the bed and inhaling the sweet whiskey scent that Adelle gave off.
Sarah slowly opened her eyes as the sun rose over the horizon, the light spilling forth into the room. Clothes and sheets were strewn about the room. Though, a sheet had remained on the bed, covering her still naked form. She turned on her side, facing the still dozing Adelle. Smiling to herself a moment, before leaning over and kissing her brow Good morning...

Heat. It was in every move of Sarah's body, every touch of her skin, every breath on her lips. Adelle felt it in the rhythm of their bodies and in the raw desire radiating in the Force. And it was heat that lulled her to sleep, entangled in Sarah's arms.
I own you.
Adelle woke with a start as something brushed her face. The stranger wasn't him but it was his voice she heard. His touch she felt. She'd been here before, with him. Unwilling. Unable to escape. Nausea settled like a rock in Adelle's stomach as she quickly turned from Sarah and slipped from the bed to sit on the cold floor. It helped. She shoved a fist into her mouth to stop the heaving, the sobbing, and the screaming from coming out. It helped a little.

Adelle moved with almost lightning speed, as she slipped from the bed to sit on the floor. And then it started. She broke down, barely muffling her screams and sobs with her fist. Sarah slid off the bed behind her, wrapping her arms around Adelle to comfort her, as she extended her presence in the force around them both Shhhh, it's OK, I'm here... You're safe... No one is going to hurt you...

Arkan and his escorts had made their way through the streets and were approaching the side of a government building, the Foreign Ministry. A small group of plain clothes Echani and the cloaked figure of Arkan had not attracted much attention up to this point. This was not to avoid law enforcement, they knew he was here, it was to avoid the public gaze. That was despite the 'lively' nature of their arrival.
As the groups approached a single door in the side of the building, it opened and a pair of plain clothes security officers stepped out. They quickly eyed up the group and then began scanning the street for any snoopers or other threats. A third person then emerges from the door, a brown heaird, official looking man dressed in a business suit.
"Please follow me."
Arkran's escorts scanned around the street before they followed the official inside. Arkan followed, letter 2 of his escorts proceed him with the others behind him. The groups were ushered into a turbolift and taken to the top floor of the building. They were not frisked for weapons but they were sure they had been scanned. They too were sure the security detail that was escorting them, though not visibly armed, were armed. After disembarking from the turbolift and making their way to the end of a long corridor, the pirates found themselves in a conference room.
Arkan sat while his escorts stood, two near the window, one near the door and the others close behind their Captain. The man who had escorted them took a seat opposite and was the left-most of three officials who were sat with various datapads sat in front of them. Once Arkan was seated, the centre most man began to speak.
"I am Foreign Minister Lacer and I would normally welcome you to Honoghr but you have dampened any welcome I offer. You have not given us much choice in this matter Mr. Bloodrage, you ha.."
"You can welcome me by addressing me as 'My Lord', is that clear?"
The Foreign Minister was clearly annoyed and angered by this, more than he already was by the whole meeting. "I understand, my lord."
I will make this very simple for you! You can either accept my control over the government in secret, which this meeting was set up for, or I will blockade the planet, cripple your armed forces and assert my control directly. That is after I execute all government officials. Is that clear?
The tension in the room escalated and it was balanced in the edge of a vibroblade. Would the government officials use the security in the room to try and make a move against the Pirate Lord or would they accept that the pirates held a foot on their neck?
