Dral looked down upon the planet as they exited hyperspace and did not feel its presence in the force. He did however feel the confusion of his sons and daughters as they looked upon the planet that was clearly there but could not feel it. Then he felt them grow afraid as they grew closer to the planet because they could feel the silence more deeply as their senses in that direction were cut off. They realized that soon they would be on the planet's surface and that they would not be able to sense anything and they were afraid. Dral reached out to them and radiated peace out to them. He could feel them slowly and reluctantly letting their fear slip away. When it was gone, he projected the sense of a warrior, without the additional senses of the force. Then he projected confidence through this image.
The message was clear. Verd ori'sha beskar'gam. A warrior is more than his armor and weapons. The force was nothing but another tool in their belt. Akin to the night vision filter in their helmets. It was useful, but not to be relied upon as a crutch. A warrior must be able to listen for danger in the dark, be able to tell if there is a cliff in front of him by the way the sound fails to echo back across the chasm. A force user, especially a mandalorian, must be able to function without the force. Otherwise he is useless and may as well join the jetii. And if you were a jetii, you could not be Mando'ade.
Dral gave the command to stabilize an orbit around the planet above the planetside village, and to observe and report any incoming hyperspace traffic. He then headed to the hangar bay of the flagship already ignoring the force in preparation for not being able to sense it at all as he activated his helmet comlink and sent a message to his standard planetside detail to have them prep their transports for decent. He added a dozen Bes'uliik fighters to the detail request. by the time he got to the hangar, the pilots were all warming up their systems. He boarded his craft. He gave the command for the 16 Bes'uliik fighters to form up outside the hangar bay in preparation for decent and requested a sitrep from the other three freighters. They reported back all green, and he gave the order to disembark and head planetside.

...continued from here. The small freighter had been a source of continual surprises for Wrench, who continued to find modules and programming that were customized factory fittings, or replacements jury-rigged to work with existing systems. Some of the solutions seemed well-thought-out and well-executed, others not so much. It was one such system -- in this case and antiquated inertial damper -- which was causing him distress and anxiety.
He was deep into the process of methodically dismantling and cleaning every blown relay and badly soldered connection when a quiet but insistent beeping alerted the abbreviated crew they were approaching their destination. Carefully placing a circuit board back in place, Wrench wheeled into the cockpit to take his position beside Karana Malora. Tooting his intention to cut in the sublight engines, she nodded at him, and the green planet Myrkr came sharply into focus beneath them. Wrench was busy explaining that the recently re-wired inertial dampers were certainly the cause for such a soft re-entry from hyperspace, and that he almost couldn't wait to try an entrance to Myrkr's atmosphere, for he felt certain that too would be much smoother. Then he realized he really didn't know where they were headed, aside from 'Wade. Wade Connors. Crew' and mentioned as much to Master Karana. What's our course and destination... (counterpart*)?* -- Malora had forbidden Wrench to call her 'Master,' and so, after much coaxing, repetition and cajoling Wrench had settled on the Binary droid term reserved for equals / counterparts, which does not have a proper Galactic Basic translation.

Myrkr. Why Myrkr, she wondered. The native home of the ysalamiri and the vornskr, the planet was all thick forest, squatty mountains and flat plains, relatively low on the traffic and population meter, altogether pretty unexciting. Maybe that was the draw, though. If you’re Galen’s runaway science experiment, well, trying to hide somewhere all busy and super populated probably wasn’t a good place to start. Most of Myrkr’s ‘visitors’ were hunters and trappers looking to relieve the planet of some of its prized native animals. Maybe Wade had found a ride with one of them and had decided to stay. With all the ysalamiri around, Galen and his Jekk would have a tough time getting at him. “Hmm?” Wrench’s chatter broke through her thoughts. Malora blew out a sigh, stretching in the copilots chair, smiling at the slightly uncertain pause near the end of his question where ‘Master’ would have been. He was still getting used to not using it. “Well…let’s see here.” She yawned a little, pouring over the planetary charts. “Let’s touch down somewhere outside Hyllyard. I don’t wanna attract attention if this thing goes sideways, but I need to be able to get to the city without it taking hours.” Mal sucked on her bottom lip. “This looks good,” she said, pointing out the coordinates. “Right on the edge of the forest. We’re covered from Hyllyard but everything is still accessible.” The smuggler stood, adjusting her borrowed socks. They were Fel’s, way too big for her, kept sinking down her ankles, but they were warm. “Take us down, Little Man. Let’s see how smooth atmo can be. I’m gonna go gear up. Right after I send the Three Stooges a holo.” Malora opened an encrypted line to her two crewmates. “Liya, Jace, it’s me. Listen, I found Wade. He’s on Myrkr; we just arrived, actually. I've got Wrench with me, he’s got a bad case of droid amnesia but we’re working through it. I dumped Oz and Mack off on Nar Shaddaa, didn't want too many variables. I, uh…I’m not sure what I’m walking into here. Wade’s files were vague on details, but there was mention of failed brainwashing and some kind of..transformation? I have no idea what that means but it doesn't sound good. Here’s hoping there’s enough Wade to rescue. I’ll do what I have to. I know there’s a Hutt in the area. Grimo. Did some business with him in the past, although he wasn't on Myrkr. Seems like a good place to start asking questions. I’ll be out of touch for a while on-planet, but Wrench will be here. Any updates on your end? Haven’t heard from you or Jace much. Hopefully that means it’s goin’ good. Miss you guys. Anyway, I’m off. Rescuing Wade, man…so weird. He was always the one saving OUR asses. Guess it’s time to repay the favors. Hey…don’t worry about me, ‘kay? I’ll be fine, I got this shit in the bag. I’ll check back when I've got him. Mal out.”Ten minutes later, she was back in the cabin looking every inch the sassy outlaw she was, DL-44 at her hip, a few tricks up her sleeves, and an outfit that would make a monk think twice.

The Lambda-class shuttle, the Maleficent exited hyperspace above Myrkr. It was broadcasting Galactic Empire IFF codes.

A single Keldabe battleship exits hyperspace in the Myrkr system, and moves inexorably in toward the mottled blue and green world. The ship broadcasts a Mandalorian IFF, but no further communication, and quickly establishes an orbit above Hyllyard City. Almost immediately, a swarm of dropships and shuttlecraft begin disgorging from its hangar bays, all dropping into Myrkr's atmosphere towards Hyllyard.
After years of absence, Clan Australis had returned to their old home. Though the base was long gone, and probably most of the infrastructure as well, they had brought enough to establish a strong presence on-world. Over five hundred warriors, along with thousands of civilian administrators and technical personnel, with all the equipment and logistical support needed had come in aboard the battleship. This first wave would establish a defensible, self-sufficient presence onworld, and could then be reinforced and expanded with further arrivals.
Riding down aboard the first shuttle with a dozen handpicked warriors, some of the finest ori'rami'kade in Clan Australis, was the commander of the operation, Colonel Darzeka Australis. Standing among his elites, in full beskar'gam, the Colonel felt more alive than he had in years, as the shuttle took him and his men down to Hyllyard.

A YT-2400 Light Freighter, the Geheim Masjien, exits hyperspace to appear in realspace on an approach vector to Myrkr distant enough from the planet that, by slowing its speed for a time, it has ample opportunity to gauge the presence, or lack thereof, of any planetary defense force or other traffic coming or going.
Using his observations to choose a final approach course that seems likely to allow his ship to make it to the planet's surface without drawing attention to its presence, Fumnanya, the pilot and captain of the freighter, adjust his heading and increases speed and, keeping an eye on his sensors, begins making for the Great Northern Forest.

The ships break their long-held formation spreading out along a single line of longitude and begin to scan the planet's surface mapping the topography and making notes of the various resources. Each ship, when it had completed a sector, sent a copy of their findings down to the planet on a broad Mandalorian Frequency. Any Mandalorians on the surface of the planet would receive the map.

A Kandosii-type Dreadnaught, known as the Auxitius Command, dropped from hyperspace, followed by a trio of Keldabe-class Battleships and eight Crusader-class Corvettes. Admiral Auxitius stood upon the bridge, fingering the saberhilt strapped to his waist. He detested taking orders from the slave races. But the galaxy had changed much since the time of the Rakata. The slaves had risen to power in the absence of his people, and now he had to serve them and treat them as equals. Or at the very least, pretend to do so.
For the time being, he would do as he was bid. He was a sworn Mandalorian in the service of Mand'alor the Architect. And as such, that service had brought him here, to Myrkr. From what he saw within the records, Clan Marev had held Myrkr. But no one had heard from them, and so new settlers were being brought here to reestablish the colony. After failing to raise anyone on the usual channels, shuttles made for the surface of Myrkr, shuttling both Warriors and Settlers alike

With a flicker of motion the Prathivi, more formally known as CS-3238, appeared in the skies above Myrkr. They had chosen here to stop in their random travels mainly because as of the last update it was a friendly mando world. That meant it would probably be a good place to resupply & do some trading before moving on to the next system. Of course, they wouldn't deploy their solar collectors until after they confirmed that the world was still friendly. Often the galaxy could change very quickly.
-Prathivi Comms (in Mando'a) This is the Imperium Colony ship Prathivi call to any mandalorians in system.

The Auxitius Command picked up the Prathivi as it appeared out of hyperspace. As he was the most senior officer, Auxitius opened a comm line back to the Pravithi, as a pair of the Corvettes made some slow passes, scanning the ship and confirming it as who it said it was "Prathivi, this is Admiral Auxitius, acting... governor of Myrkr. What may I do for you?"

The contract with the other Imperium vessels was unexpected but not that unusual. They various colonies & other ships didn't generally bother to inform people where they were headed. True, it was easy enough to check, but few bothered.
-Prathivi Greetings Praetor. We were wandering through the area & decided to stop in the area for labor & trading opportunities. You wouldn't happen to have anything floating around would you?
The Prathivi was mostly people with fairly high amounts of skill & experience in various forms of construction. For the moment the colony was between Imperium sponsored jobs, & to make some extra credits they were wandering around selling their skills to various locals. Imperium jobs always paid better though, so hopefully the Praetor would have something off the books for them.

Labor and trading. Both in demand opportunities on Myrkr right now, considering Clan Ordo was re-establishing the old Colony here. He forwarded them some files relating to the new colony, with a list of possible job opportunities for them "Mand'alor sent several colonists from Ordo here to re-establish the colony here. Anyone on this list should have some work for you lot ground side..."

They were happy with confirmation of the friendly nature of the system &, even better, an abundance of contracts to collect on. A few hours were spent launching the solar collector satellites that would be used to recharge the Prathivi. Since they were being launched while still in orbit, the smaller shuttles could be used for the task as they didn't have to fight gravity. This increased the launch time dramatically. Once the satellites were in place, the colony descended toward the main hub of activity on the planet below.

Auxitius moved to the command console as a message came through from Damocles. Ordering him to return to Mandalore, now that the Myrkr settlement was well under way. The Rakata smiled beneath his helmet. Glad to be taking his leave of Myrkr. He noted he was to leave a force defending Myrkr and Obroa-skai. A task easily accomplished by detaching a Keldabe-class Battleship and trio of Crusader-class Corvettes. The first of which pulled away from the fleet and stationed themselves above Hyllyard City, alongside the currently in construction pair of Golan-III Space Defence NovaGuns. Once clear of Myrkr's gravity well, the fleet jumped to hyperspace as work continued upon the orbital defences

The borrowed Nexus-class freighter emerged from hyperspace and made its approach toward Myrkr. Gavin watched as the forest world grew larger by the second. Part of him wondered why the Sith and other Dark-Siders opted for more desolate worlds over the lush ones. It really didn't matter, but it was a curious thought nonetheless.
He then glanced back towards is students who were all going about different methods of preparing for their task. Be it meditating, sleeping, or even practicing some unarmed combat, they worked to make sure they were ready as the ID10 seeker droid hovered about watching them. He had carried with him a recording device for the Hunt so that he could pass along to the Sith'ari to review, but it seemed unnecessary now with the droids. And he knew Viox was watching the Hunt intently. There would be no question to the Zabrak knowing what was happening and how the students were doing.
The question now was what did they plan to do?

Through the duration of the trip, Krokaa had been thinking over the information they had gathered and what awaited them on their first world. It was when they arrived that the Zabrak made his way over Geralt and looked at the planet.
"So what do you think? Should we worry about the other hunters? Should we face them first or the Vornskr?"

Nidana had spent much of the journey sitting with Geralt, either discussing potential strategy, or whatever took their fancy. But once they dropped out of hyperspace, the Echani felt her heart flutter. Myrkr was so beautiful, from orbit anyway. With a last squeeze of Geralt's hand she moved away as Krokaa approached to talk strategy, no doubt. She found a space that was suitable and sat down, trying to calm herself and focus on what had to be done next.
