A small fleet of Aldar ships jump out of hyperspace, following behind Everett's fleet. The defense fleet represented House Starlight, in the interest of assisting via resource, personnel and firepower as needed. Several bulk cruisers began to arrive, bringing along more supplies.

Orion Squadron, at least part of it, exited hyperspace over the industrial world of Lianna. Lianna was a crown jewel within the Tion Cluster, one of the few worlds of the former glory days of the various Tionese nations that did not fall into obscurity or become a haven for pirates and criminals. Its shipyards were a great prize to gain and that was why the Jedi Lords sought to claim it. The Orion-class Battleship and four Foxfire-class Archonian Gunships, as its escorts, went into orbit over the planet. From the hangar bays of the battleship, scores of troop transports and starfighters zoomed out and headed for the surface.

Heavily damaged, a frigate of the Pelta-Class was entering Lianna's orbit, it's speed indicating that it was by now only relying upon it's back-up hyperdrive systems. Due to it's status the interferences weren't clear, yet the captain of the ship claims that he served in the fleet of Jedi Master Tycon and that they were ambushed by a larger armada, consisting mostly of Mon Calamari and Quarren ships. According to their claims their ship was an escort ship of the Venator-class Star Destroyer Trialis, who was able to flee from the battlefield under Tycon's orders, however the Trialis was intercepted by other foreign ships of Quarren architecture. A message towards the Jedi Council could be saved onto the Pelta-class frigate, yet the crew had to watch in horror the Trialis' explosion only few moments, before they jumped themselves into hyperspace.
The captain of the frigate is willing to deliver the message towards the Council, yet begs for shelter and the permission to land the ship, given that most of their systems begin to fail already.

First Dark Crusade: Assault on Lianna As the Zatarus left hyperspace, the Prophet could already see from afar how the battle was proceeding. With most of the defending vessels being smaller Venator-class vessels, it didn't take long for the Recusant Dominion Dreadnaught Dominion and it's following ships to break through the defender's lines. By now one of the orbiting space stations was trying to defend itself from the incoming ships, bombing runs from the smaller star fighters proceeding just as planned.
With his mind drifting back into battle meditation C'Thyl closed his eyes, his Sentinels standing emotionless flanked around him. Yes, by now it wouldn't take long. The Dominion was on it's way forward. The seeds for the downfall of other civilizations had been planted. Now he had entered the domains of their ancestral enemies.
Though there wasn't much difference in the eyes of the Dark Sorcerer between the Sith and the Jedi, they would still prove to be the best thorn to crack, now that his allies were crumbleing. According to reports the Sith under Malvus were growing weaker, as infighting and doubts upon the leadership was growing. The Blackguard had befallen by now a similiar situation. One from which they are more likely to recover perhaps. Time would tell. For now only the Dominion remained. And there was no intention to stagnate on already claimed territory. All that was built now, had solely one purpose: To unleash Chaos upon the galaxy.
Focusing the fleet's fire power synchronised upon an bypassing Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Prophet felt the despair of the enemy's crew. They hardly knew what hit them, as they desperately fired shots upon the MC cruisers and the well-intact shield generators of the much larger dreadnaught. Before they could leave the battlefield, the whole ship collapsed, it's hull slowly breaking apart, as the Sorcerers re-alligned targets, once the life force had fled from the destroyed Venator-class. Even when the enemy space station tried to surrender, stoping fire upon the enemy fleet directly, C'Thyl gave solely mentally the order towards his Lieutenants to continiue on the onslaught. Lianna would serve as the second example, that the Dominion would state upon the Jedi. The first warning out of many, that they were all doomed.

Leaving another blasted fleet behind, the Zatarus finished off the last smouldering hull of a light Star Destroyer, showing the Jedi emblem, in the shadow of two massive Recusant-class Dreadnaughts. So far satisfied with the example, the Prophet stepped out of his chair from atop the Providence's tower, C'Thyl recieved a message from Elre Zhir, the Zatarus' commander and considered among many as his main navy admiral. ::We have destroyed any surviving vessels and are ready to launch a full assault on the surface, my Prophet. Shall we proceed to break their hopes and turn this world into the staging ground of our enemy's despair?:: In the Nautolan's voice there was zealous desire, a cold flame that wished to extinquish the very life of this star system and to devour it, just like most of his creations tended to do. There was no sin within that desire, as this hunger was, what kept the Dominion alive. Yet the Grand Plan did not forsee this. "Lianna is nothing, but a waking call to our enemies", he stated cold, while he watched as several ships of the Dominion unloaded salves of turbo laser shots upon the oceans of the world out of pure spite, "I wish to see the fleet assembled at once. We will take the Crusade to one of their Holy Worlds. Rhen Var shall become the centerpoint of our infestation. For the Dark will rise and swallow within it's tide all that is touched by the Light." The image of the Nautolan lowered her head in gleeful respect. ::As you command, my Prophet. Initiating battle meditation at once.::
Closing his eyes, the Prophet felt as minds were taken once more, each crewman touched by the tendrils of the mind and once more bound to the collective will of the Sorcerers. With mental chains mercilessly forcing their subordinates to carry out their orders, the Sorcerer's fleet quickly got itself into a synchronized formation, smaller Mon Calamari ships following behind the larger Recusant Dominion Dreadnaughts and the powerful destroyers of the Interitus-Class. And in the center of the fleet an omnious cloud of shadow cloaked a large mechanical leviathan, barely visible among the darkness of the stars to the regular eye and on the lurk like a vengeful predator.
As one force the Dominion exited Lianna's orbit, leaving only the debris of their fallen enemies behind, their crests melted down by brutal force. It would be another of many warnings that would follow in the future...

*a lone fondor haulcraft breaks from hyperspace, emerging from parts unknown on the far side of the planet below from the hyperlane nearby. the rough-shod and scruffy-looking craft keeps its distance from anything orbiting around in the sector, making a slow and casual transit around the planet at a wide berth yet not blindly so. to the trained eye the ship was clearly surveying everything going on and forming plans and backup plans, as anyone who survives a long time in this (or any) galaxy routinely does. eventually making it through the sector largely unnoticed and unremarkable, the craft begins to approach the hyperlane to make its way elsewhere*
so are our coordinates set, little friend?
*an astromech chirps away, sounding slightly irreverent and indignant to even be questioned*
okay okay....just sit tight. i think i want to make a detour first....
*as the pilot takes the controls and fires up the hyperdrive, the astromech sounded frustrated to have worked out a flight plan for nothing. the pilot smirks as the haulcraft lengthens into hyperspace and disappears*
