Faina nods, resting her chin atop the back of her hand as she listens to Mavera explain that she has encountered a few difficulties when trying to arrange for transport offworld, her being a Witch of Dathomir and accompanied by a Rancor naturally giving ship captains and their crews pause, and of how, as a part of her Clan's arrangement is that Mavera be of use to the Royal Family, she feels duty bound to remain on Coruscant in case she is needed. Not one to let complications stand in her way once she has made up her mind about something, Faina does not say anything immediately, merely nodding to express that she has understood what Mavera has said.
A slightly mischievous smile curls the left corner of Faina's lips upwards as she ponders how she might use what Mavera has told her to see that she and Dawntree have a reason to get away from Coruscant that does not go against what she has been set to do. Remus, seeing the look in his mother's eyes and correctly guessing what it means, grins and, after a subtle nod to show he has an idea about how he can help things along, says as though the idea is just now occurring to him, "You know, Mother, it has been some time since we've visited the Bralor Clan on Agamar to train with them. . ."
Yvaine, still gently petting Dawntree and cooing to her, smiles as she too gets an idea what her Mummy has in mind, giggles and says, "Why, yes, Mummy, it has been. We wouldn't want our friends in the Bralor Clan to think we've forgotten them, would we?"
Faina, nodding to her children and trying not to look too amused, asks Mavera, "Have you ever heard of Agamar? It's held jointly by the First Order and the Mandalorians. Lovely world, lots of forests. Yvaine and Remus have trained with the warriors of Clan Bralor, and we've just realized it has been a while since they've been back to Agamar. Smiling with an arched eyebrow as though an idea has just occurred to her, Faina says, You know, normally we take a few Imperial Knights along to satisfy my husband's wishes that we're well protected, but I wonder if you and Dawntree might like to come along with us instead, as our protectors?"
Yvaine nods excitedly, "Oh, yes, please say you will! Dawntree would like it there, I just know she would, and you could get to ride her in the forests, and she could hunt! The Mandos are ever so brave, and I bet they wouldn't be afraid of you and Dawntree like most of the silly people here on Coruscant are."
Remus, hands clasped behind his back, muses aloud, "We could take the Wayfarer. Plenty of space for Dawntree in the portside section. She would have a bit of room to move around during the journey. I could work on my piloting skills. Nodding, he tells Mavera, And, you see, Miss Nako, you and Dawntree would certainly be honoring you commitment by looking after our safety were you to accompany us as our protectors."
Yvaine, lacing her hands together, gives Mavera her best cute, sad Porg face as she pleads, "Please, plllleeeeeaaaaaassseeee say yes!"

Mavera was no fool. She saw the looks, the subtle nods and expressions. There had been similar exchanges between herself and her sisters on Dathomir when mischief was afoot. And soon the idea was out there and being passed between the family like a well oiled machine. Mavera saw the children's faces and her heart could have melted to see how much the three cared about her and Dawntree. Simply thinking to herself "I would die for any one of them." Then she herself smiled to the children and moved over and knelt down between them. I would love to come with you and be your protector. It would be a great honor for Dawntree and I. She stands again and turns to Faina and bows her head in gratitude. Thank you, Empress. For me and Dawntree. We will not forget your kindness.

Faina smiles when Mavera agrees to come along with them to Agamar, Remus pumps his fist in the air triumphantly, and Yvaine claps happily, exclaiming, "Perfect! before gently hugging Dawntree's snout as she tells the Rancor, Did you hear, Dawntree! You're going to come with us to Agamar! You'll get to hunt and Mavera can ride you and there will be forests for you to run through!"
Faina, after watching her children's reactions, turns to Mavera, "You and Dawntree have no need to thank us, Mavera. We should, in fact, be thanking you as you'll be looking over us. And, she adds, resting a hand on Mavera's shoulder and crinkling her nose, please just call me Faina. I get enough formality elsewhere, and feel no need for it among friends. Now then, she rests her hand beneath her chin, It shouldn't take us long to prepare. Why don't we meet on the palace landing platform at 18:00? Just look for the Wayfarer-class transport. Arching an eyebrow with an amused grin, she adds, It shouldn't be difficult to spot, just look for the Stormtroopers stationed around it, explaining, My husband can, at times, go overboard with the protection details he assigns to us, but we'll be leaving them all behind, don't worry." Other than the Imperial Knights Voshkie and Nechama, who took it upon themselves to be Faina's personal guard and accompany her everywhere whether she wants them to or not, Faina has no plans to bring along any unnecessary personnel; between her, Voshkie and Nechama, Mavera and Dawntree, she cannot imagine any threat that would pose much danger, and the Mandalorians of Clan Bralor have been trusted allies for a long time, and would certainly not allow any harm to come to them all.

Mavera felt all doubt leave her as Faina touched her and lifted her chin up. The Empress was kind and she could tell looking into her eyes, that she was wise too. The Witch nodded firmly. We will hurry to get packed and meet you there! Comeon Dawntree! Time to get up, we're going on a trip! At the sound of her friends call, Dawntree rose up careful not to tread on the little ones. She and Mavera hurried back to their residence to begin packing!

Many gathered, across various districts of the Imperial Center, and through the Empire, as a public address came before the citizenry. The most anticipated of announcements that was due to arrive in light of the First Emperor's passing. Today had been a rather important day as the Crown Prince accepted the oaths of the Imperial government, military, industry, and more as well as that of the services of the 501st Legion, the Imperial Knights and the Knights of Ren. Once these acceptances were made, an address was made by the Imperial Palace's staff to be spoken to the crowds that awaited the news.
At the second hour of the afternoon, the image of an Imperial spokesperson was seen. Dressed in formally, for this event, the middle-aged female spoke.
=Spokesperson= For this past week, we have mourned the passing of our glorious Emperor, Nicademus Delvardus IV. In him, there was a genius, a model ruler, a capable statesmen, a proven commander, and a loving father. His death has shaken the nation who has not seen such an able leader for many generations. By his hand, the Imperialist cause resurged across the galaxy and became the pinnacle of order and stability for countless star systems and species.
The transmission was broadcasted across the Empire and to its allies. Even other HNN nodes were granted the privilege to showcase this news to the greater part of the galaxy. Stormtroopers, in barracks and training facilities, stopped to listen in. Citizens adjusted their holotransmitter to see what would come. Many ears and eyes were witnessing a most monumental moment.
=Spokesperson= Though we have lost an Emperor, we have not lost his legacy. His nation will endure, thanks to the loyalty and contributions of those, both high and low, that daily perform their duty for the greater good of the Empire. That is why I am most proud and excited to tell you a news that all wish to hear.
The image of the spokesperson fades and reveals Octavian Delvardus, dressed like his father, in an officer's uniform.
=Spokesperson= The Empire has lost its Emperor, but so shall the legacy endure. And that legacy shall see a new Emperor rise to grasp the reins and lead forward as his predecessor did before. Today, the Crown Prince Octavian Delvardus has been elevated to succeed his most honored and glorious father in the endeavor and mission of leading the Empire towards further glories and greater heights! Long live the Empire! Long live the Emperor!
The crowd within the Imperial Capital District exploded with cheers and applause, roaring loudly the approval of a Delvardus succeeding to the throne of Nicademus.

From her place within the square, Xoia watched the proceedings of the ascension of Octavian to Emperor. The highest ranking officers had been called to swear their oaths, though she wasn't in such a position. Which was fine. She cared not for the stuffy gatherings and being in the square, though crowded, afforded her more room and ability to move about. She had no reason to make the same oaths as the others for she had np reason not to serve as she had. Serve the Emperor, serve the Empire. What else did she need to say? Besides, she had more on her mind besides Nicademus's passing.
As she moved through the outer edges of the crowd, he mind went back to the briefing the day before. All commanders of every vessel that were alive and remained in the patrol fleet were gathered at High Command to discuss the attack from the rouge Coalition force. It was a surprise that had caught them all off guard and no one was held accountable for what was lost. An upper hand had been gained and being a solid force, no true intel existed. Discussions had also been made regarding the ships that had been lost. With the addition of Diarchy and Chiss designs, new ships had already been finish to switch out some older, less capable vessels. And now, with a new threat, no matter how minuscule, it was time to bring them out. Though no action would be taken for some time, plans were already being discussed on how to find and deal with this force once the transition of Emperors had settled.
But that wasn't all that was on her mind. She had kept it to herself, but she reflected on the sensation she had gotten from the lead enemy pilot. She wasn't sure for a bit, but now, she was. There was only one thing left to do to ensure her suspicions. Taking a deep breath, she departed from the square, grabbing a transport back to the shipyards where he ship underwent repairs.

The rightful Emperor and his Allies had arrived to Coruscant in force. Massive warships clashed in orbit, discharging energy bolts capable of rendering the surface of worlds to glass. But the battle had remained locked in orbit thus far, with the Pax Imperialis and the many allies of the traitorous Baltasar providing a valiant naval defence. However, the one thing that had not counted on, nor could they have prepared for, was the Veers-class Legion Support Cruisers blitzing through their line. The trio of Star Destroyers had seen an opening and pushed through the defensive line and were now hurtling through the atmosphere. But although the main defence line had been orbit, who ever had seen to Coruscants defensive perimeter had also set several Victory-class Star Destroyers in low orbit over the city planet.
One such Victory-class was parked between the Zahn and the Emperor's Square below as the trio of Cruisers split off toward separate landing sites. Being the primary attacking force, The Grand Marshal had chosen the Imperial district as his landing site, in hopes of getting to Baltasar first and taking the man's head.
The Victory-class started trying to open fire, but the Captain of the Zahn merely ordered the Cruiser full ahead. Whoever was commanding the enemy vessel must have realised too late that this was not a game of chicken and that the Imperialist Forces were not going to divert. The guns stopped as power was diverted to the engines too late with the tip of the Veers-class piercing down through the mid-ship of the Victory just as the music blaring over the bridge's speakers reached its fever pitchYou've been... THUNDERSTRUCK! Although the Grand Marshal did not much care for Captain Young's decision to blare music over the speakers, the man's record more than spoke for itself. The fireball from the Victory-class momentarily engulfed the front end of the Zahn as it performed a quick manoeuvre, swinging the ass end of the ship down to level out the massive beast. Repulsor lifts went to full power to counter the momentum as the ground came up fast. Landing gear shot out as the Square was suddenly rushing up to meet them.
There was a series of loud crashes as the Legion Support Cruiser crushed several buildings at the Square's edge and the landing gear impact hard upon the durasteel surface. Debris from the Victory-class rained down around the square as the landing ramp thumped down, with stormtroopers pouring out under command of Major General Andriax Needa. Elsewhere, the other pair of Veers-class Cruisers would be making similar such, not not quite equally epic landings. Lieutenant General MacCoinneach would be leading one force and Brigadier General Uther would be leading the third front.
But where Zahn himself was concerned, the Grand Marshal was going to lead a smaller fourth front. The Praetor Guard and the first gen Hoplites loaded into a Nemesis-class Gunship which shot out of the vehicle bay and kept low over the city, zipping between buildings. The traitor would have anti-air defences set up and ready to fire, but Baltasar was not crazed enough to order shots fired so close to buildings. The cityscape would also make it more difficult for the weapon systems to get a lock.
Zahn gripped his force pike a little tighter. This rebellion would be over soon, then it would just be a matter of taking down the wayward Princess and their treasonous Knights of Ren
