The Training Facilities, within the Fel Tower, are unrivaled within the Imperial District. Beyond training rooms for individuals, there locations that are set up for group training, and even rooms for with high tech, all at the disposal of the rank and file of the Imperial Knights. These high tech rooms have been augmented with holographic technology to simulate live fire actions and are good for enduring training. The facility is run by a specialized corps of officers, technicians, and personnel that ensure the needs of those who utilize the facility are fulfilled and safety is assured.

Xeonon knelt in one of the training rooms, his eyes closed and head bent in concentration. Sweat trickled down his body and his bare chest heaved as if he had been straining his body hard for hours. Before him taking up much of the room was a depression was an exact replica of the First Battle of Coruscant, with spires and buildings towering high above a simulated battlefield with small automated soliders representing both the Republic Clone Troopers and the CIS battle droids. Originally designed as toys for children a enterprising Imperial some decades earlier had seen the use it could present for training soldiers in tactics. The Imperial Knights had taken it a step further and found a way to control individual soldiers using the force. Over the years dozens of battles were programmed into the scenario including the Battle of Jabiim, the Battle of Dantooine, and several space battles as well.
Across the battlefield from Xeonon sat five younger Imperial Knights each kneeling similarly to him using the force to control their own forces. The objective was rather simple. Capture all the enemies strong points or exhaust the opponents reserves. Each of the simulated soldiers on the the field could operate on their own to some degree. They could hold their position, patrol, attack, and defend but the real challenge for the Imperial Knights came when they controlled the individual soldiers themselves. When you started out a person struggled to control a single solider but as time went on you learned to control more and more. The five Imperial Knights arrayed against Xeonon each directed three to five clone troopers. Xeonon controlled twenty three individual battle droids.
For the past three hours the two groups had battled pushing their mental connection to the force to the breaking point and as such the game as well. Currently the reserves of both sides were almost exhausted and there was still no clear winner. Xeonon had invested the majority of his forces into an attack on 500 Republica and his opponents had responded in kind by defending the the area fiercely. With their attention distracted Xeonon activated his trap card and sent the remains of his automated reserves to the remaining command points. As his center continued to deplete and die one by one the outlying areas fell to the battle droids. By the time the 5 had taken noticed and responded it was too late and their remaining forces were soon encircled in the Republica and defeated.
Opening his eyes Xeonon only saw the disappointed faces of his fellow Imperial Knights for a moment before he fell forwards his hands catching him as he strained to stay conscious. This was the longest he or any Knight had controlled so many automatons and it was a testament to his mastery over the force. By the time he slowed his breathing down and stood the five others had left and the automatic lights had shut off, as he stood they turned back on.
Walking into a steam shower he stood there letting the water that accumulated on his and fall of him. When enough time had passed Xeonon made his way to his spartan room and layed down falling asleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow.

What was a dream?
When Xeonon Solomon's head hit the pillow and his body settled into sleep, where did his mind go? Was a dream just the imaginations playground, a place where all thoughts from throughout the day manifested themselves as something creative to entertain or trouble the psyche? Or was a dream something grander, especially for those gifted with a connection to the aether, whose strange mystical ways seemed to allow the impossible to become real? Ewok shamans had long since espoused that a dream was the mind separating from the body and traveling to a far off dimension, allowing the most powerful wielders of ancient ewok magic to move beyond their physical selves to far away lands. Whatever the truth of the matter, one thing was clear.
This wasn't a dream. This was a nightmare.
When Xeonon opened his eyes he would find himself on a vast plain of shattered rock, cold and windswept, blowing clouds of thick stony grit that irritated the skin and occasionally rained down like hail. There was light, though it was fleeting, the last few rays peeking over the edge of the horizon as an eclipsing star slowly drifted out of sight and night descended. This place was desolate, but far from deserted. Among the rocky crags that jutted from the broken landscape, bodies could be seen, numbering in the dozens and beyond. The lifeless corpse of everyone the veteran Imperial Knight had been forced to kill, and those he hadn't be forced to at all, littered the area as far as the eye could see. Bodies burnt beyond recognition, bodies missing limbs in various states of decomposition, and bodies he might not recognize but remained unforgotten by the more dormant parts of the mind. Botflies circled rotting cadavers in thick pestilent miasmas, landing to spew their eggs which in turn burst as writhing maggots that feasted ceaselessly upon the fallen, before in turn erupting in putrid little bursts to ascend on insectile wings to join the swarms.
All the while an object in Xeonon's possession grew skin blistering hot, as some foul entity reached across time and space, focusing on a long forgotten emblem. A symbol corrupted by the malevolent fey.

This dream was like an old friend, and ghosts of his past haunted his dreams but this one was more visceral than the other ones. Many of the faces nearest him he was familiar with. The face of his master, before he ran away and joined the Imperial Knights. The first cloner he killed during his first mission as an Imperial Knight. Walking through the bodies he passed through them as they lay there. Untold thousands lay in piles, while he may not know what they looked like almost all of them were Muuns.
Lifting his hand to block some of the grit from hitting his face he could feel one of the rings on his left hand began to grow red hot. He did not pay much mind to it. After all most of the bodies here were a direct result of the ring he had been gifted by the Lord of Famine so many years ago and the effect it had had on him. Some part of his mind knew this was a dream, and so he walked deeper into the mass of bodies stepping into and through the viscera and blood that pooled the uneven footing beneath his feet. Wading deeper and deeper into the bodies he tripped on some unseen thing beneath viscera and he fell his left hand reaching out to break his fall as it pushed its way through the body of Antares Kreig the first Imperial Knight he killed on his path to redemption breaking through his armour as if it were paper mache. In doing so the the ring continued to increase in heat and he ripped his hand out as more maggots and other things came out of the body. Inspecting his hand he could find no damage to it but all the while the finger the ring with his dragite crystal was on continued to get hot to the point it became unbearable.

The sea of bodies shifted, rising and falling like the rolling of waves in an ocean. Yet this was no body of water, but one of blood, thick and bloated like the corpses that it consisted of. Breaking from beneath the rotting meat, a large writhing thing peaked quickly before descending again, emerging now and then to show a length of glossy black scale. As it came before Xeonon, it reared up from the mass grave and rose high, at least as tall as an all-terrain walker. A large serpentine head with a neck that spread out to the side like a hood, stared down at the Imperial Knight with two gleaming red eyes that radiated heat, while the remainder of its body coiled above the blanket of festering cadavers.
"Xeonon Sssolomon." Hissed the oversized Serpent, its forked tongue slithering out between large yellow fangs that dripped with venom.
The astral projection form of the Hungering One slithered across the blighted landscape, gliding over what in the Sith's honest opinion was some of the Imperial Knight's finest work, before once again coming to settle and fix Xeonon with two burning orbs of malice...and amusement.
"You've been a busssy one sssince we lassst ssspoke." Purple clouds of poison smoke puffed from slit nostrils. "And I thought I had large body count. Quite the resssume if you were ssseeking to apply to be a dark lord of the Eye, though lassst I checked we weren't taking applicationz. Siss Siss Siss!"
Whatever hold Dragus had on the ring in Xeonon's possession, he released it, relenting any pain that might be incurred from it. It wasn't the Imperial Knight's suffering he was after, though obviously he supped that like a fine wine. What he truly desired, what he would not be denied, was the mind and the measure of the man.
"Ssstill, mossst impresssive."

He had heard this voice before, somewhere in the distant past but he could not place it. Surely he would have remembered encountering a being as large as an AT-AT, he racked his brain and the bodies around him began to shake and fall as a single word seemed to form before him. Dragus. The Lord of the Eye had never appeared ot him in a dream before, but was this really a dream? In all his years he could not think back to a single time he had felt pain, true pain in a dream like what he had been feeling on his hand and just as he thought that the pain went away.
This is as much your doing as it is mine! the venom was clear in his voice, I have no interest in joining your Order. Your gift has no hold over me anymore, I have risen above such paltry tricks and strive to right every wrong I did while under its influence. Tell me what you want and why you have interrupted my sleep Lord of Famine.

It pained Dragus' immense black heart that the universe could be so cruel. Here Xeonon had done something wonderful, something utterly splendid, and yet he had been made to feel what...shame? Guilt? And they said his own morals were corrupt, that he was a villain while the rest of galactic society sat around and judged without ever truly knowing the freedom that could be found by surrounding oneself to their own deepest desires. Disappointing.
"Now, now, my mossst precious Sssolomon." The Serpent's head swayed softly from left to right and back again between each syllable hissed from a fang filled maw. "I admit that my token exertz a mild degree of...influence, shall we sssay, but thessse actionz were your own. It merely showed you the path, you chossse to walk it. Siss Siss Siss!"
In fact, if this was the result of corrupting one Imperial Knight, imagine the possibilities if more were shown the way. Over the years the Great Devourer had come to possess many underlings, from fascist Fallanassi to dogmatic inquisitors, even an insane war droid or two, but none of their accomplishments were quite so grand as the sea of death before him. In this being that stared him down with eyes of utter contempt there was true potential. He decided then and there that one day Xeonon would be his, heart and soul. But that wasn't why he was here now.
The Serpent began to shrink, descending from its high peak to become even level with the Imperial Knight, condensing and splitting as the coils of its lower half separated into two black scaled legs that ended in large curved talons. From its side emerged two glossy scaled arms with hands capped with razor sharp claws. Needle like incisors emerged from bleeding gums to fill his mouth with daggers. The neck hood of scale transformed into the hood of a robe, one stitched together from tanned human faces, some still wet and dripping with ichor. Beneath the hood were two crimson saurian eyes that fixated on Xeonon with malevolent intent. Thick ropes of saliva seeped from his maw, parted into his best proximation of a smile, though in truth was more of a feral smirk.
He revealed his true self to the man before him, or rather, what everyone else saw when they looked at Famine in the flesh.
"Once upon a time a pact waz ssstruck between our...organizationz. You mussst have had sssome inkling of what we were then, yet the bargain waz made all the sssame. Whatever moral high ground you now claim, you know in your heart you have alwayz been complicit. It iz why I have come to you now. To sssee if you would be the firssst to break faith. There iz a new deal to be made...though if you are not of mind to hear it, perhapz your Emperor would be more...amenable."

This was the man that he recognized from years ago. Not the giant beast that had stood before him moments earlier. As Xeonon listened to Dragus speak thunder cracked over head and lightning struck the ground around the duo. Just as Dragus shrank down to his own size now Xeonon grew by a few feet.
Listen to me now. He said pointing a finger into the toothy maw of Dragus. You will not see Nicademus so long as I live. Yes these people died by my hand. Their lives will be weighed against mine when I die and I will be found wanting. Returning back to his normal size the anger left his voice. Still I will kill twice as many people as are here now to ensure that Empire will continue. I have made sure that something good has come of all these deaths and I will ensure that good lasts.
The Empire has held up to its end of the bargain as far as I am concerned. We destroy what the Order of the Eye had become, and you as well as several of your compatriots get to survive to operate in the shadows. If you have been neglecting to act as you so desired that is no fault of ours.
By this point he had become keenly aware that this was no dream. The darkness that permeated the air around him stank of the darkside. He licked his lips and weighed his options. He could terminate the connection. It would be easy, like waking from a dream. No doubt that Dragus would be furious but he could at least be prepared the next time. On the other hand. Tell me the bargain you wish to make. I will relay your words but do not deign to step foot on an Imperial world without an invitation. As far as the Empire is concerned you were killed years ago and I would like to keep it that way.

The vision of Famine cocked an inquisitive brow, studying the man before him with keen interest. For all his protestations, Xeonon made an excellent case of the similarities between the two of them. There were the obvious disparities of course, the Hungering One was a fathomless pit of debauchery and wickedness, whereas the Knight Commander seemed to be the noble champion of light. Yet when he spoke of the toll of blood he was willing to exact on behalf of his Empire, it filled the saurian Sith with a sense of curious relatability. For when the Order had called upon him to commit all acts of evil in its service, he had never hesitated, not once. As far as he could tell, the main difference between them was who they chose to call Emperor. The Knight seemed content to serve a man, while the Sith waited for the return of a god. Pointing out these hypocrisies would only serve to antagonize the human further, so he held his tongue, which was quite unlike him.Ssssshhhhhiiiiinnnnnkkkkk! Barely perceptible over the gusts of wind and buzzing of botflies was the sound of metal grinding on stone. Emerging from the rear folds of his robe of human hide was Dragus' long scaly tail, capped with a serrated iron spike flaking with rust. The extra limb slithered up behind the black scaled barabel and swayed rhythmically from side to side behind his head. He turned, offering Xeonon his backside, but not really. Then with one clawed hand he reached out to grasp at the fleeting sun in the distance, gripping it by some unseen force and wrenching it back into its place in the sky. The edges of the star began to blacken, and an iris formed in its center, warping the celestial body of gas and flame into an approximation of a giant eye."The Feast Day of the Eye soon approaches." He looked over his shoulder at the Knight and shrugged. "I don't expect you to understand what that means but suffice it to say it is important to our faith. The Almighty Eye requires a tithe from its chosen, an offering of blood and souls, to see it contented." His crimson eyes narrowed until they appeared as burning coals in his black scaled face. "You will hear things in the coming weeks, tales of atrocities committed along the outskirts of this galaxy. We will of course spare any Imperial worlds said inflicted horrors, but what we require from you is a lack of intervention on behalf of others." Dragus raised a clawed digit and tapped the side of his head. "To turn a deaf ear to the plight of others."

When Dragus turned his back on him Xeonon considered striking out at the creature before him. He did not know if it would have any effect on on the Sith. Of all the things he studied connections between two force users was not one of them. He had never been close enough to someone to form a Force bond with them, and the simple fact that there was one between him and Dragus now sickened him. At the soonest opportunity he would need to remove the ring from his possession and see if that was the sole reason for this perverse form of communication or if it was already too late for that.
And should the Empire not ignore what happens beyond its borders? I can pass your words along but I can make no promises that they are heeded.
Certainly he could turn a blind eye for a while, but he knew there were several important members of the Empire that would or could not turn a blind eye. They would use it as an excuse to spread the Empires banner further into the galaxy.
Why now Dragus? Have you solved whatever issues plagued the Eye and ready to re-enter the galaxy?

The hot rancid stank of rotting meat rolled out of Dragus' open maw like a decaying cloud of putrescence, thick to the point of viscosity, all an introduction to his incisor filled smile.
Indeed, what business was it of there's? Finally, someone who could see reason. For a brief moment he had thought he might actually have had to argue the merits of leaving the weak to fend for themselves, but this appeared to not be the case. Clearly Famine's impression of light side wielders was clouded by Jedi rhetoric and propaganda, espousing the right to life and equal protection for all, a poison presentation to please the populous. These Imperial Knights were of a sterner disposition. This one before him weighed the pros and cons of option with a sound mind.
Yet when another spoke of the Eye and its potential ailments, hot fury filled the festering lord of Famine. He turned on Xeonon and approached to within an inches breadth, staring barely contained daggers of rage at the Knight's shear audacity.
To explain the Eye to a non-believer or uninitiated was like describing the sun to someone who had spent their life living underground. It was unfathomable. It lacked for true description. You had to see it to truly understand it, and once you knew it you could not unknow it, and the blackness that would spread to your heart could not be undone. Forever tainted. The chosen.
Dragus clenched his left fist with an audible 'crack', snorting up phlegm before continuing to address the human before him. The human that was now the sole focus of his attention, now, and ongoing...
"All you need know..." His forked tongue flickered over his salivating incisors. "...is that the Eye hungers, and that is my purpose. Once it is sated..." As if that were ever possible. "...we need not speak again."

Xeonon did not flinch away at the Barabels anger. Like all Sith their emotions were always close to the surface and could boil over at the slightest offense. He could smell the stench of death that roiled out of his mouth, but it only lasted a moment before he blocked it from his mind. Resisting the urge to strike out at Dragus he raised his hand and forced some distance between the two.
Let me make one thing perfectly clear Lord Dragus he spoke his tone mocking, You came to me asking for this favour. I could say no and let the dice drop as they would, I could tell the Emperor of your plans and finally route your order root and stem. You want something from me, you need to give me something in return. If not well.
Stepping back Xeonon raised both his arms he did a 360 before turning his gaze back upon Dragus. What is one more body amoungst all these? So I will ask again, why have you chosen to leave the shadows now?

It happened so fast one might miss it if they hadn't been paying attention, but the corners of the Hungering One's mouth rose ever so slightly, while the swaying of his tail increased in pace. ! Threat? Fury? No, he was amused. Once there had been a cadre of titans throughout the galaxy, beings of incredible capacity that even Famine was weary of confronting them. Iniquitious, Serrin Roma, Sith'ari Grizz...to name a few. He was far less concerned of finding his match among this Empire's so called war host, or of the man with the title himself, whose measure he had determined in his own way on the same day he first met Xeonon. But it would prove problematic for his plans if he had to contend with their forces while pursuing his agenda. He would have to offer something, and it appeared that the Knight's hunger for information was at least as insatiable as Dragus' appetite for flesh."Necesssity intrudes on our isssolation, Sssolomon." He hissed. "It waz not by choice that we have returned. I waz quite content to let thiz galaxy and itz inhabitantz rot away in obssscurity without the guidance of our Order, but the Eye...it iz not so easssily contented. That iz part of the reasssson why we left, to oversssee the construction of..." SAY NOTHING OF THE BLACK ALTARS! Mid speech the Great Devourer paused, turning his head as though addressed by someone or something that wasn't quite there. Dragus blinked away eyes of blood and returned his focus to the Knight in front of him."Our return iz necesssary and like you I pray it iz short lived. That iz why it iz so esssential that we are not interrupted in our work. If that iz not enough for you and it iz confrontation you ssseek, you have the meanz in your possession to find me, you have sssince the firssst day we met. But there will be a price." He returned Xeonon's mocking gesture, casting his own hands to the side to indicate the cadaver filled valley they found themselves in, minus the spin. "Great enough to make the ruination you have thuz wrought ssseem paltry by comparissson. Weigh your corpssse tally with what will inevitably follow and asssk yourssself, iz it worth it? For them? FOR THEM!? They don't dessserve your protection any more than their pleading deserves to grace your ear."

Of all the things that could have surprised Xeonon during this conversation it was the pause that Dragus had. Had he revealed too much, or was something else at play here? The wheels turned in his mind as he tried to guess at what they were building. Ships? Armies? A nation? A new Eye of Palpatine. The possibilities were endless, including the option that he was being lied to.
Very well Lord Dragus, I will pass your words on as well as your request not to be interrupted. How the Emperor will act upon this knowledge will be up to him.
In truth he hoped that the Emperor would respond with force. Yes there would be blood, and yes millions would die. The bodies would not just full the valley but the hills and the mountains as well. Yet the only way for evil men to truly win was for good men to do nothing. To stand aside and let the Eye take what they wanted now would only open the door for them to do so again and again and again until the toll was greater than any war.
Will you be expecting an answer or will you know it when the time comes?

Events were now set in motion; for good or ill, he had followed the explicit directions of the Will. Unlike his brother Havok, Dragus lacked the Seer's ability to peer beyond the folds of the aether into the realm of time itself. There was no Darksight to allow him to know how this would all play out. In fact, the Force shared nothing with him that he hadn't had to rip from its clutches by his own metaphysical might. Perhaps that what happened when you were born without a soul of your own. You were forgotten.
With at least a spoken consensus reached between the two beings occupying this incorporeal space, the winds died down to nothing and the distant landscape began to distort, fizzling away as the borders of the dream or whatever this was started to collapse in on itself. Yet the buzzing of botflies grew louder, almost deafening in pitch, while the pestilent gnats thickened to the point of devouring all.
"We require no ssspoken word of acceptance or refusssal." As he spoke, remnants of the festering miasma condensed into an insectile mass around them and shredded themselves on his exposed teeth, dripping viscous globs of green from a needle filled maw. Famine's body began to dissolve into the putrescent cloud, almost as if the Hungering One was being consumed himself. "I only need what I've alwayz needed from you, Sssolomon. Your complicity. Siss Siss Siss!"
And like that the saurian Sith became one with the swarm and then became nothing at all. One final time the item in Xeonon's possession glowed white hot, a burning reminder of the connection the two now shared.
And the nightmare ended.

As the nightmare collapsed in on itself the the valley around Xeonon began to rumble as bodies worked themselves loose from the masses they were resting and began to pile around him. The blood and viscera being sucked into a single point on his left hand as the bodies did the same. With each passing the second the trickle sped up turning into a stream and then a torrent as more and more of the dream scape fell inwards. Soon the sky and the edges of the world followed suit and Xeonon could see the worlds end as it sped towards him. In mere moments all that was left was him and even he began to be pulled into the ring staring with his feet. His body bent in unnatural ways, and yet the only source of the pain was on the finger itself until he was pulled directly into the Dragite crystal.
Waking with a start Xeonon reached out towards his left hand where the pain still resided. He was not sure if the pain was real, or if it was just a hold over from the dream itself. When he looked at where the ring rested the skin certainly looked darkened and charred but when he stroked it with his right hand the blackness rubbed off. Removing the ring from his hand he looked at the other two. He knew they had also been made by Dragus for other Lords of the Eye but only the one harmed him in the dream. Taking them off as well he placed them all on a necklace around his neck, he would need to come up with something better later but for now this would have to do.
Getting dressed Xeonon left the room in search of Brock Ferrum . Although Xeonon had been a member of the order longer it was Brock who currently held the position of Stewart to the Imperial Knights. A position he did not envy having been the Grand Master himself for a few years before Fiana took over the position, he understood the stresses of looking after the order.

It did not take him long to track down Brock. He found him standing on one of the balconies overlooking the people aspiring to be an Imperial Knight. Below them was a mix of people from across the Empire, because no one ever flunked out of Imperial Knight training there were people of all ages down there. Kids, teens, and adults they all went through their morning routines the younger ones directed by Imperial Knights and the older ones who may have been at this for a while did so on their own.
Moving in beside Brock Xeonon looked down on everyone for a few moments before speaking. Anyone down there showing promise?

Brock had been lost in his own thoughts, enjoying a brief moment of contemplation, when he sensed the approach of the older knight. Today he wore his informal white and gold armor and leaned casually against the railing of the balcony, silently offering the other man a piece of nerf jerky as they spend a moment silently watching the group before Xeonon finally breaks the silence with his question. There are a few. Brock pointed at a pair of younger teenagers receiving special attention from an older Knight. Though one was male and the other female the familial resemblance was unmistakable. The twins are still progressing quickly, I doubt it will be long now before they are made full squires. A shiver passes through his spine as he senses the barest hint of what Xeonon had just experienced and he straightens up to his full height, suddenly wary the echoes of the force reeking of darkness. Though I suspect that's not why you've sought me out. What can I do for you Xeonon?

Is it that obvious?
He had always prided himself in being hard to read. The fact that it had been for simple for Brock to do so spoke volumes about how disturbed he was by the whole situation. He did not think his body or face betrayed anything so he looked inward at his aura in the force and sure enough it was messed up from the encounter. Normally it was calm and collected an ocean of white and tranquility. Now however there was darkness around the edges and spilling out, coming into conflict with his normal self. He would have to fix that over the next couple of days.
I was visited last night by a unwanted guest. Someone I assumed had died a long time ago.
Taking the rings out from beneath the shirt he wore he showed them to Brock
I need to know about Force Bonds and connections between beings or objects. I figured you would know the best person to go and talk to about this sort of thing, and hopefully they are on the planet because time is a bit of an issue with this.

Brock straightened up to his full height, no longer leaning on the railing, as he turned his full attention to the older knight studying him more closely with his brown eyes. He did not like the sound of any of this. Xeonon was not a man shaken lightly and seeing him so was a red flag of it's own, however mention of people who were supposed to be dead and connections through the force were another matter all together. The dark remnants he had sensed from the encounter should have been enough to cause an investigation all on it's own. In truth he should require more out of the man before answering his question, however Xeonon Solomon was a former grandmaster of the order itself and trusted by Nicademus more than any other in the order and that sort of position came with privileges among the knights and so Brock instead simply responded to the question at hand, pulling all emotion out of his voice as he did, analyzing the situation as it unfolded. Unfortunately that is not a specialty of the Knights as I am sure you are aware. I've seen some knights who make a low level connection after working together for long periods of time, though it is rare an not to the extent you seem to be implying. Even those knights who have experienced such bonds aren't quite sure how it works. His thoughts drifted for just a moment to his own bond with Faina before the shift into memories from his youth. There might be some records of it in our archives but the only people who might know the information you are looking for off hand would be Jedi. I know there was at least one on Corellia when I was an apprentice there who specifically dealt with imbuing objects with the force. He is the headmaster there now so I do not know how you'd get access to him, however it might be your best option if you're pressed for time. He doubted it was the answer Xeonon had come hoped for, and it certainly wasn't an on planet solution, however Corellia was only a short journey away and so long as he could make his way there without drawing attention to himself it was probably the quickest solution available since Brock was beginning to suspect the former grandmaster didn't have the time to spend weeks searching through obscure databases to find the information.
