--9 Hours Later--
*Adonias awoke with a jolt. He was confused to find himself trapped in a...what was this? A prison cell of some sort?*
"Hey! Darth Snide! Let me outta here!"
*The young man was feeling very naked without his armor. He looked down to see that his attire consisted of a simple black tunic and matching leggings. The hell/ The young man's face burned red. Did Darth Strife dress him while he'd been unconscious?! Or had he been wearing this attire since he awoke from the bacta tank?! He didn't like feeling confined and he began to pace his cell like a trapped Nexu, his anger and frustration mounting.*

Darth Strife:
The man's eyelids fluttered as loud shouting woke him from exhausted slumber. Ugh, this was why he had never had children. Young ones were always being loud and obnoxious when they shouldn't be. He sat up in bed, stretching his neck from side to side as he did so. Time to get to work. He walked to the door of his cabin and palmed it open. Slowly he emerged, looking at Adonias pacing all the while. "Ah, we're awake! And how are we feeling today, little one?" The sith smiled widely as he went over to where he kept the rations. Withdrawing some ration packs, he walked closer to the cell before him. "Are you ready to be good today and listen?" He opened one of the ration packs and stood eating while looking at Adonias mockingly.

*Adonias growled, hands balling into fists, his defiant spirit rising to the forefront.*
"What is it with you? Do I LOOK little?!"
*Adonias pretended he wasn't hungry, nor interested in the food, despite the fact he kept eyeing the Sith master as he ate.*
"I guess I will cooperate. There is something I desperately need to know first..."

Darth Strife:
The sith studied Adonias as he replied, "I measure size in knowledge, not in age. You know little, therefore you are a little one. You are but a child in the ways of the force." Darth Strife finished eating and casually disposed of the trash, pocketing the other rations in his robe pocket. He stretched out to the force and relished in it's power. "Someday you will be grown, but it won't be for quite some time. You may ask your first question, my unruly apprentice."

*Adonias couldn't stop a wide, defiant grin as he asked his question, arms crossed over his chest rather haughtily, uncaring of the consequences. His fiery spirit would not be denied.*
"So, is Asshole your Maiden name...or just a given?"

Darth Strife:
The sith didn't bother to reply. For those who refused to soak up knowledge from words, there was always pain. With a flick of his his hands, he unleashed a wave of force lightning on his difficult padawan. The electricity passed between the tightly woven bars of the front wall of the cage, sending sparks flying. Pain had always seemed to motivate his last apprentice. He was sure that his new one would respond the same way. Life forms always did respond to pain. He held the force lightning wave on Adonias for a full minute before ending the attack.
"So again I ask, are you ready to listen? I could do this all day, and have before. I suggest you cooperate before I'm forced to cook you." His lips twitched at the idea.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
*Adonias couldn't stop the traitorous scream from tearing its way out of his throat. He screamed until his throat went raw. It felt like the raw electricity jolting through him, set every single pain and nerve ending on fire. Just when it seemed like the torment would never end, it finally did. Soon he was left, panting and gasping, body still convulsing, even after the lightning attack had ended. He moaned as he blinked hot tears from his clouded vision. Despite the fact, the Sith master had just seriously dampened his defiant spark, the young man couldn't speak his mind. Instead, he felt a hatred for the man burning inside him.*
"Nnughh.....I...*Cough*..."
*Adonias wanted to curl in on himself, like an infant in a fetal position but would be damned, if he gave this Sith any more satisfaction than he already had.*
"I...really....hate you...master asshole..." *Adonias wheezed with difficulty*

Darth Strife:
The sith smiled gleefully. "That's the point. Use your hate. That is what will give you power. All the anger, fear, frustration, and hate that you feel can be used to strengthen yourself. Now stop being lazy and learn." Darth Strife began to pace back and forth before the cage, droning on and on about the history of the sith starting at the very beginning. Not all torture was physical. In his mind, he thought fondly of the future he had seen. Soon, his new apprentice would face Crystal. He would claim the victor as his partner and go on to carve truth into the universe.

*Adonias listened but his face appeared most bored and unappreciative. When Darth Strife finally finished, for once, the defiant young man was completely silent.*

Darth Strife:
"I think you are beginning to understand how things will go, aren't you?" The sith looked at the Mando who was silent before him. He fished into his pocket and pulled out a packet of rations. Then he threw the rations through a tiny slit in the door area designed for trays to slide through. The cell was larger than it had to be. It was roughly ten steps from one side to the other, there was a solid metal bunk securely fastened in one corner and of course the most basic spot for waste to be eliminated in. The front area of the cell was tightly woven bars that almost appeared vine like in nature. One could see through the tiny spaces between each bar but not even a finger was small enough to pass between them. The middle of the front wall of the cell was a solid door with a small opening towards the bottom for items to pass through. And of course, off to the side of the cell was the biometric scanner and control panel for the cell itself. It was solid. The sith knew even he would have had difficulty escaping from such a cell. He had complete confidence that the boy was trapped and at his mercy. "I will leave you to ponder on my words." He ignored any response the boy might give him and then made his way back to his cabin and closed the door behind himself. Sitting cross legged on his bunk, he communed with the force.

*Adonias rolled his eyes once the sith left him alone at last. He took the Ration bar and stashed it behind the latrine. He felt he was ready...he had a plan. In the dim light of his cell, he grinned sardonically as he whispered to himself.*
“I’m coming for you, Crystal.”

Darth Strife:
He sat, ensconced in shadows, screams from the past his only companion. At times, Darth Strife was tired. He wasn't physically tired, no, he was tired of trying to show others the truth. The exhaustion sat in his bones and threatened to cause him to lower himself to other's base actions. It prodded at him to give up, to stop teaching and just destroy those who wouldn't listen. At times, he was so very tempted to listen to those prompts. But he had a higher purpose. Teaching the idiots, though it rankled him that it was so hard for them to accept the truth; the force was stronger when a force user surrendered fully to their dark impulses. He had worked tirelessly in the dark for decades. Even when he was holed up in his bunker on Dathomir, he still called to the force sensitive through dreams, using the force to bend them to the dark side, the true side. And now, he would do the same. He sent out whispers of thought using the force to guide him. His captive companion needed to see why his impulses were true and should be trusted. It was nearly midnight now and he hoped the resulting dreams his force tendrils causes would help Adonias to truly understand. "Go, my servants, shed truth. Dig deep and reveal pain." He whispered the words quietly into the dim air of his cabin.

*The young Mando was not prepared for the dark force dreams that pervaded his mind that night as he slept. He was left tossing and turning, his first initial instinct, to fight it. Yet the longer he slept, the more tired and fatigued he became. His mental faculties, still recovering from the aftermath of his former head injury, demanded he rest. Even if it meant, just giving in. Adonias's disturbed dreams, quickly began to change....*
--Dream--
The young Mando stood before Darth master Strife, his normally blue-grey eyes burning a sith yellow. He looked around in confusion.
"Master, where am I? How are you here? This is not a normal dream....is it?"

Darth Strife:
--Dream--
"We are together in the dream world, connected by the force. This world is made to show you the truth and will open your eyes." The scene darkened around the figures of Darth Strife and Adonias. Shadows seemed to press in from all sides. "Why do you resist the dark side? Why do you fight against what you know is right?" Darth Strife's voice was but a whisper in the still air of the dream. "Think back to the worst time in your life, examine it with mature clear eyes. What do you see, my apprentice?"

*Adonias frowned*
"If I've been resisting...it's because I'm afraid of change. Though to be honest with you...I know nothing of the force, but only that which you have taught me thus far."
*Adonias felt a part of himself cringe at the usage of the term 'master'. It felt both natural and unnatural at the same time. He couldn't stop himself from opening up to the Sith master, sharing his darkest memories. The memory of the raiders attacking his family's farm when he was seven years old--the anguish and pain, feelings of helplessness as he watched pirates slaughter his parents. He was powerless to stop them from kidnapping him, stealing him away to a life filled with cruelty and abuse. His fear soon gave way to anger, rage, and hate--leading up to the event where he'd killed the pirates with the force. All he had done, was wished them dead and watched with dark satisfaction as their weapons were lifted into the air by an invisible force and pointed at them. He grinned, for the first time feeling powerful, even though he was unsure of how he was doing all of this, as the raiders begged and pleaded for their lives...WHIMPERING. He laughed as they got what they deserved!*
"I see insignificant beings who like myself, were nothing more than children...unable to accept atonement for their transgressions. They got what they deserved!! I swore from that day forward, that I would NEVER be weak again!"

Darth Strife:
"You do not need to have a large collection of knowledge. You only need to reach out and touch the force. Surrender to your feelings and reach out. The force is there, and once you have established your connection with it you will never need worry about being weak again." Darth Strife smiled slightly as he witnessed Adonias' progression. The boy was so close to joining him. So very close. "I was once young and my master instructed me on the force daily. He told me to envision the force as a mighty river, when I had need of it I could either dip a toe in or else dive in completely but either way, I would need to enter the river. And so you must enter the river as well, envision it in your mind and move towards it. I promise, power will be waiting for you." Darth Strife let anger fill him up completely. He was not an unjust man and the tale of Adonias' childhood filled him with wrath. Cruelty with a purpose was acceptable. Cruelty for the sake of nothing was pathetic.

*Adonias did as he was instructed. He imagined the force as a great river, a river of power. Tentatively, he reached out and touched it. A soothing yet burning darkness filled his entire being, infusing him with the dark side of the force. The young Mando couldn’t stop a maniacal laugh as he was filled to overflowing! His aura began to glow a crimson shade of red, power swirling around his body.*
“I can feel it!!!”

Darth Strife:
"Good, good. Now clear your mind of all but your anger. feel the force running through you and use it as you will." As Darth Strife walked his apprentice through how to utilize the force as a weapon, he smiled. Dream walking exhausted him but also rejuvenated his soul. "Now, what will you do with your new found powers, what weak individual deserves extinction?" Darth Strife tried to move a vision of Crystal into the boy's mind. Hoping that the Mando would turn his rage onto the clearly pictured vision sent his way. That was his goal, his two apprentices must fight. The strongest would emerge forged by fire and help him with his life's work.

*Adonias closed his eyes and concentrated, unable to get the image of Crystal out of his mind. He snarled, hands clenching into fists. His hatred and rage became palpable as he started ranting, unaware that he was projecting his rage at her through the cosmos---even permeating her dreams wherever she was hiding.*
"DAMN YOU, Crystal!! For leaving me behind! You are a coward to flee a fight! For USING me. You will pay for your treachery...and your WEAKNESS!!"
*The young man raged. With a loud scream, his force repulse was so powerful, it knocked him off his jail cell bunk. He jolted awake and was stunned to see the aftermath... The palm and retinal scanners to let him out of his cell were destroyed, it looked like a mini-bomb had gone off in his prison. The toilet was in shattered ruins, water spraying up from the pipe. His bunk was broken clean in half and the thing was made of pure durasteel. What was left of his ration packet was shredded to ribbons, only crumbs remained, scattered around the room like grains of sand. The floor was fractured like a powerful earthquake had ripped right through it. The jail door was even dented, nearly hanging off a corner hinge! Adonias stared wide-eyed at the destruction around him.*
"Uhh....Master Strife?" *Adonias could only gape as he realized that he, not his master, had been the one to cause such mayhem.*

Darth Strife:
The sith slowly sat up, coming back from the force dream quickly though his body felt stiff. They must have been in that world for hours. The loud explosion and the focalized anger had knocked him from the dream. He stood and exited the cabin, surveying the damage. He was impressed despite himself. This boy was strong, given enough time he may become stronger than himself. But that was how the way of the sith should work. One master, one apprentice and then the strong would survive and the cycle would begin again. "Very impressive, apprentice." Darth Strife clapped slowly, almost mockingly as he stepped closer. "Save your destructive tendencies for the traitor though. You are ready to face her. She left you behind, knew how cruel I could be and never even tried to help you. I'd say that cowardice deserves some pain. And I can see now that you are strong enough. Are you ready to face her?" Darth Strife stared steadfastly at Adonias, awaiting for his reply.
