Xeonon was there. In a sense he was everywhere, having come back from the grave he was able to be everywhere and no where at the same time. Here he was though, he had been the one to set this whole thing up. A test so to speak. His power was growing every day, and if he could get away with altering the universe while having the Whills okay it... well all the power to them. Or him. He was the only living soul in the compound originally.
His mouth twisted into a smile as he could feel the others arrive, Jedi, pirates, hell he was even hoping to bring a few Whills into this if he was lucky. He stood up from where he was sitting, and paced the room and looked at the walls. He had learned one thing from his comings and goings. If people respected you, you had power. If people worshiped you, you had power. So he concocted a religion to suit his needs, or rather used one his writer knew of. The word of Yub Nub. The walls of the cafeteria where he was were plastered with them. His face on them, the words "Those who reach enlightenment shall rejoice with the Wok forever."
Now to wait.

Arkan took a glancing return hit, ducked another reflected shot and then ran full speed towards the entrance. He fired off a few shots in Cal's direction as he did but they were not very accurate. he quickly made it through the open front door and scanned the room. Nothing much of interest so he ducked round the corner to give orders.
Split into three teams of two. One team keeping each Jedi pinned, the other team watch for other forcies and back up the first two teams if necessary. I will find the turret controls and turn this fight in our favour!
One of the Black Guard switched his fire from J'lisko to Cal and the two that were guarding the rear joined up with each other and moved into a better position to back up the other two teams. The pirates continued with their constant fire to pin the two enemies in place.

On Arkan's retreat, Cal redoubled his efforts. The space between himself and his new attackers was sufficient that he could move, rising and moving between the arrival of each blaster bolt, keeping his attackers busy while also closing the distance. It took nearly thirty seconds, but he managed to fight his way toward the Black guard, occasionally redirecting a blaster bolt harmlessly into the jungle, occasionally batting a shot back toward the offending attacker. When the range dropped to less than twenty paces, he drew his DL-22 from the cross-draw holster and added blaster bolts of his own into the melee, still deflecting their attacks with his saber, his blank, white eyes giving away none of his anger.
Cal had moved to within twenty yards of the Jedi, until they nearly fought side-by-side against these foes. Let's see how well the Mercs dealt with that.

*All of a sudden, J'lisko felt the incoming fire reduce in intensity. Was one of them reloading?*
*No! One had split off to make up for the leader's disappearance into the base. But that was fine, J'lisko had a plan. As soon as he had built up enough power with the Force, he was going to use Force Speed to get away, run under the base, take cover behind the support pillars. They would not be able to shoot at him once he was there!*
*Now his attention was split between deflecting blaster shots and drawing up power in the Force. Time seemed to stretch on for eternity.*
*And then he dimly became aware of the fact that the other Jedi fought his way step-by-step towards J'lisko's back, fighting to help defend him. How cruel, Corunner realized, for him to continue with the plan to save himself. He must fight for this Jedi's sake, too.*
*So he changes his plan.*
"They will probably need to reload soon. Once that happens..."
*Instead of using Force Speed to run away, he would use Force Speed to stop the enemies.*

Caius ran his boots kicking up dust and rubble, his chest burned, he couldn't go on much further, with one last effort of exertion he leaped and dived sliding across the unforgiving ground and slid behind the cover offered by the remains of permacrete wall.
Six months the turf war had raged, having existed previously as a war of words, held at a stalemate by the Farmers and the Grace gang. You see originally it was agreed that the Farmer's grew drugs to supply the gang, in return the gang protected the farmers. Yet it all turned sour, some said the Farmers got clever and started giving the gang a plant very much similar in make up to the drug, some say the gang got greedy and demanded more, and the Farmers wouldn't budge on the terms, either way the spark was ignited and so the farmers armed themselves and now Dagobah was controlled in sectors, some held by the gang, some by the farmers, losses on both sides, but Caius he was caught in the middle merely trying to make ends meet.
The Government in their hindsight had called upon the Jedi and sent out a distress beacon to call for aid, constructing a fortress and creating what was supposedly neutral ground, but in reality was just a nice juicy prize to claim and hold on to; well who wouldn't want a nice defended fortress with canons that could punch holes through duracrete like paper.
He made to look over the permacrete wall but quickly ducked his head as a blaster bolt pinged over head, he was only trying to survive and who would have thought stealing a bit of maize would draw so much aggression. His eyes flicked to the side, some distance away yet loomed the Fortress covered by the dust and smoke from fire, warfare and decaying buildings, if he could make it toward the fortress he might, just might find a place to scurry inside and hold up until the farmers got distracted.[ /color]

The pirates kept to teir proper fire discipline, they fired then moved position slightly. Unlike droids, who wouldn't move when firing, this made them more difficult targets to hit. Despite this the two firing at Cal did receive glancing hits but after the armour did it's job the hits resulted in some bad bruising. Both the Jedi were moving closer together and so the other two Black Guard had moved up into a position to observe the fire fight.
One of this third team began preparing a thermal detonator to use. With both enemies now standing as they were, a thermal detonator thrown between them could kill both of them. The Pirate knew better than to hope for this but it would break up the engagement that was currently going nowhere. He set the detonator to explode upon impact or a sudden change of direction. This, he knew by experience, would take away the Force users advantage from deflecting the detonator with the Force. If they attempted that the Jedi would get an explosion, in their face! This took a few seconds to set but would be worth it. With that programmed the Echani threw the device through the air towards the ground between the Jedi. Not before time, one of the Black Guard took a more serious hit through the shoulder and needed to be replaced by the other back up member.
Meanwhile Arkan was on the move through the base, looking for the control room.

As ever in a firefight, there was no time to plan, merely to react. The Jedi often planned a response. Such an action determined the following and so on. Not so here and now.
Cover me!
Cal hoped whoever he stood alongside was capable enough to do just that, as the detonator sailed through the air toward them, the Miralukan focused his Force Sight on the projectile, foresaking his deflection of incoming blaster bolts, and squeezed off three shots from the DL-22, just as the orb passed over the heads of the Black guard actively engaged in firing.
In doing so, he took a bolt to the shoulder, which forced his third shot far wide. The first also missed. But his second shot was true, and cored the detonator neatly, resulting in a nasty explosion which threw all concerned to the ground. Some in several pieces.
Fortunately, Cal and the Jedi were farther from the blast than Arkan's men.

The again maybe waiting for people to come to him was the wrong thing to do. Straightening the crown on his head and slicking back his curly brown hair he walked to the door. On the way there he removed a piece of flesh that had once belonged to a Rodian. The thug had wanted something to do with his wife. That was one thing he never interfered with. Peoples love life. Rather than accepting his answer the man had continued and well one thing led to another and he exploded all over. Some of him still clung to his clothes. Just on his clothes only however. Snapping his fingers he left behind a chest, with a very heavy lock on it. Archaic in the universe of lightsabers and laser guns but it looked cool. Much like a Russian doll there were small chests in each. The keys were scattered around the compound. 7 must be found and brought here. Sure you could shoot it open but you wont. Each chest and lock is guarded by shields (both ray and particle). The first chest itself was the size of an average man, with the smallest one being 40 cm tall by 120 cm long.
So he walked out into the hallways of their grey very drab, compared to his red silk cape, orange shirt and blue jeans. He looked like the complete opposite of someone to fear. A mummer really. Which was what he wanted when he was still new to this form. Maybe he would change it up after this to something more dignified. Perhaps someone would leave behind something to give him inspiration. Whistling as he walked he could feel someone going towards the comm center. Call it the force, his omniscience or just luck but he went there.

"...Uh!..." *The man asked him for cover and J'lisko wasn't even sure how he could go about deflecting four sets of blasters as opposed to two. But he endeavored to do so, when all of a sudden the blast of a thermal detonator that J'lisko hadn't even noticed coming threw him to the ground.*
*All thoughts of 'Force Speed' and 'counteroffensive' swept from his mind. Here in the muddy mire of Dagobah, he wondered if he would just simply die.*
*But he can't! Cal is counting on him!*
*He stands back up, defense at the ready.*

J'lisko may have been quick to get back on his feet, but Cal wasn't so fast. The world spun and stars danced in front of him as pieces of Dagobah and Pirates rained down from above. His blaster lay close beside him, the warmth from its barrel sending a plume of smoke rising up into the gloom. His saber was still clutched in his right hand, and new blossoms of pain shot through his body, presumably from some shrapnel, though Cal hadn't looked to see. His head swam, and it took several moments for the world to come back into focus. Finally, he rolled over onto his stomach to see what new and present danger awaited...

The Black Guard shielded their face against the pre-mature blast of the detonator. It took a short while for one of the back-up team to drag the injured team-member away from the front line but the replacement had taken his place quickly. However a further member of the team had been hit by shrapnel from the detonator explosion. The leg wound was hindering him but not taking him fully out of the fight, he was actually the first to open fire again on the Jedi after the explosion. He was quickly followed by the other three, who shook of their daze. The back-up member was giving first aid to the other injured member of the team.
Arkan was making his way through the main building trying to find some sort of control room when he began to see the evidence of some sort of fight. At least that's what he first thought but then he began to think it was some sort of slaughter. There were no blaster marks. Arkan kept his own blaster held ready as he proceeded down the corridors.

*J'lisko immediately takes note that the other man is not so quick to get up. As the debris from the explosion clears, Corunner takes note that he'd been shielded mostly by the body of the other man. But, it seems their enemies had shielding of their own, and were preparing to get back into the thick of things.*
*Not confident that he could ward off blaster fire directed at both of them, J'lisko's thoughts return to the idea of taking cover beneath the base. The whole thing was on a system of stilt-like protrusions that were keeping it from sinking into the ground. Getting behind one of those would be ideal...*
*.....but could he get there while dragging the larger man? And while defending them both? He wasn't so sure.*
*But you can bet your bottom credit that he was going to give it his best shot.* "Come on, let's get you away from here!"
*He wrapped his left arm under the man's shoulder and began to pull, getting his weight into it. His left hand held the still-lit lightsaber up, ready to deflect more fire. It wasn't but a few steps in the direction that Corunner wanted to go before he had to stop moving Cal and focus entirely on deflecting blaster bolts. To present a smaller target, and to maintain a good defense for his wounded friend, he knelt down in the mud.*
*But the explosion had rocked J'lisko's head more than accounted for initially. As he put his right hand to the saber, a blaster bolt skimmed across that forearm, and a yelp of pain escaped him.*

Xeonon was not far behind, or rather in front. Having knowledge of the base he did not need to stop and look to get his bearings. He made a beeline for the room hoping to intercept Arkan before he got there. At the rate they were moving at though, they would meet in the corridor outside the room. His whistling though would alert the pirate to his presence, it wasn't like he was trying to be stealthy.

The Black Guard took the opportunity to gather together. The injured members were pulled back from the front line and first aid was administered. This left only two firing at the enemy Jedi, driving him back towards the pillars beneath the base.
Meanwhile Arkan rounded the next corner, blaster pointed ready. The double doors in the centre of this next corridor looked promisingly like some sort of control room. However the Captain was being very cautious as the air grew very cold, just like when he met.......

As I stare at he pair of ewoks guarding the entrance I see a freighter fly over and drop troops on the other side of the building. Troops can't be good, especially because I have a very bad feeling that those folks aren't very nice. As I move through the jungle perimeter I being to hear the sounds of lightsabers. That is definitely not good. I grumble as I draw on the force to increase my speed ever so slightly, maintaining as much of my stealth as I can, managing to arive on the other side of the building just in time to watch the explosion and see.... younglings... who in whatever twisted organ they substitute for a mind would send younglings to a totally unknown distress signal unsupervised. It was certainly no training exorcise. The soldiers were playing for keeps.
At the edge of the clearing where I am hidden is a wonderful fallen log that is somehow just perfect for my purposes. Concentrating for a moment I reach out with the force and launch the log at the group nearest the jedi. A fraction of a second later I make a force assisted leap into the clearing activating both blades of my saber staff, swirling the pole around letting my blue robes swirl with it, making a more theatrical show than truly necessary. Between the odd appearance and giant fallen tree I figure I have probably gained some attention. Get behind me I nearly yell at the younger jedi.

Ah yes, he knew this one. The pirate who wanted a Yslamari and some tickets to a ball. He looked much the same as he had before; tired, dirty and blood dripping from his body. Wounds from times past. As he spoke the air seemed to crackle and waver as if Xeonons words could shape the very molecules of the air. Which he probably could. He liked this one though. He came in guns blazing, a personal favourite of the wraith.
Im so glad you remember me pirate.
Rounding the corner he smiled showing dirty teeth to him.
How have you been buddy?

*The right arm that got hit by a blaster bolt is badly burned; the skin from wrist to elbow has split, revealing fleshy tissues beneath all the way to the tendons. J'lisko cannot use it any longer; though, as the number of actively attacking enemies drops to two, he wonders if just one hand on the weapon would be sufficient after all.*
*Well, it'll have to be, won't it?*
*But then something completely unexpected happens.*
*A log comes flying from nowhere (well okay from the tree line) and lands between them and their Black Guard enemies. With it comes a Jedi Master, saberstaff lit, bellowing orders.*
*His heart is uplifted. They are saved!*
*With this Jedi Master here, J'lisko relaxes for a moment and moves the still-prone Cal behind him, as instructed. Yet, as he considers the situation, J'lisko then prepares to get up with his lightsaber still in hand.*

*For what reason should a Sith investigate an unknown distress beacon? It seemed uncharacteristic, especially when it likely held no appeal for the Sith. However, its point-of-origin was Dagobah, which held a particular point-of-interest for Sobrius, and the planet's close proximity to Clak'dor meant it would have hardly been a bother for him.
Sobrius went alone; perhaps foolish, perhaps arrogant. Subortus remained at Clak'dor, Sobrius trusting him to look after things, at least as far as he could trust anyone. Truthfully, Sobrius was not alone, bringing with him a small contingent of elite troopers. Sobrius would make the approach to the compound on his own, with the troopers on-hand to provide backup in an emergency situation.
However, upon approach in his Nune-class shuttle, he noticed the conflict at the outpost, the source of the beacon: Turrets firing upon other craft, flashes of light that even from this high up were unmistakably belonging to lightsabers. Jedi? A conflict? A widespread beacon indeed... Then clearly this was some sort of trap, and yet Sobrius felt compelled to investigate further...* Find a clearing a short distance away. *The pilot complied, keeping his questions to himself, though Sobrius picked up on them easy; soon he would learn not to doubt Sobrius's intentions, but at least he was wise enough to keep silent. As a clearing was found and a precarious landing carried out, Sobrius went to the aft of the ship to explain the situation to the troopers in the bay.* Guard the ship, and wait for my call should I require you. There appear to be Jedi and other third parties here as well. *They nodded their understanding and descended the ramp along with the Sith. They took up positions around the ship as Sobrius continued through the swamp, seeming to vanish into the mist. To the naked eye, that would be exactly what happened, as Sobrius called upon the latent darkness within the planet to his aid, to cloak him, to make his presence like mere wind. He allowed himself an invisible smile; the darkness here was not as strong as upon Clak'dor, but its subtle presence pleased him, a feeling he likened to his own existence. With this assurance, he made his way to the compound...*

*poof*
Because i meant to be here, and because I had signed up... despite the fact that the day was almost over, i appeared somewhere safe within the complex. perferably far away from combat. Preferably in a pub. when i took stock of where i was i found out who was around and then after sending a message to Master frantz that i was in the facility's pub i force pulled a green bottle of Liquor, a glass to the table i was at and began working with various parts with a set goal in mind to create a new saber emitter.

The Black Guard quickly pull back a few feet to allow the rotten log to hit the tree in front of them and smash into harmless bark. With the arrival of this other Jedi the pirates ceased firing. With no blaster bolts to deflect there was nothing they could fire back at them. The two pirates were still monitoring the Jedi, preparing to open fire if they made any aggressive moves.Ah yes, he knew this one. The pirate who wanted a Yslamari and some tickets to a ball. Arkan raised his blaster and fired straight through Xeonon's forehead. Partly because of habit and partly to check it was actually him.
"Buddy? That's a bit of a strong word don't you think? So, is there anything dangerous through those doors or is all this blood you?"
