The assasins then stopped coming closer. They saw the sabers in the air lessen and this was good, the Jedi wanted to save energy for a fight, but still kept up three sabers. This was a feat, one he would have to hold up, and when he doesnt, he will be forced to... they just needed patience and range so they could react should the jedi go on the offensive. They believed that as long as they did not do anything or show their intent in actually hurting them, the jedi would only hold up a defencive stance, wich at this moment sucked his energies. The longer they kept this up, the weaker the jedi was.
The one in the middle stayed hunkered, while the other two started to walk out to the flaks, they were trying to get out of his vision field, so he could only see two at once. Either that, or use the force to see all three, wich in turn would again, drain his powers further.

Atuna's grimaced deepened, however that was possible. His gut instinct was to run, but with the Baron at his side, running was not an option yet; at least, not until he could catch his breath. With his free hand, Atuna grasped the air and curled his fingers tightly around it. A snap, a crack, and then a thundering rumble followed as the massive tree he had rested against a few minutes prior began to fall. It was expertly angled, falling so that it would either squash the center assassin, or force her out of position. Further, the leaves of the tree were still bushy and abundant, with plenty of volume. As the tree fell, the leaves would come down right on top of Atuna and the Baron. Normally, this could be hazardous, but using the Force as a wedge, Atuna separated the tall branches and the leaves away so that, as the tree hit the ground, he stood alone in between them, with enough empty space to turn around and run back out, which he did.
On the other side of the tree, Atuna did not care whether he had succeeded in crushing one of the assassins. Now, he had the time he needed to concentrate. Two sabers away up his sleeves, the third drawn to his left hand, his stance suddenly rigid and aggressive, he pushed the Baron into the leaves of the fallen tree and allowed them to consume him. A quick snap was the only sound they made, easily mistakable for the sound of the branches rustling from the impact of the tree itself, which occurred less than half a second prior. Hoping that was enough of a disguise, and banking on how quickly he had transitioned the Baron, Atuna hoped it would fool the Twileks long enough to stand and fight them properly before they figured it out. And if not, the Baron was still mere feet from him; an easy distance for him to move and intervene within should it come to that.

48 was the one endangered by the falling tree. She had to jump away and thumble. Acted on instinct, and nearly got splattered. Her gear was in the way, she had to throw the umbrella in front of her, and even then, the explosive packed suit case nearly dragged her down so she would have gotten splattered. She was in the mud when her collegues started fireing.
47 on the left of 48 was hauling the suitcase containing the repeating blaster. She figured that fireing into the treecrown with the umbrella-blaster would not give much, so she stood up into a balanced stance, reached the suitcase towards the last position of her targets and pressed the button on its handle. A shreak was heard as the barells inside sped up, and then came the sustained suppressing rapid fire blasterbolt of doom. A continous stream of red igniting branches and leaves, descending upon our heroic jedi and his protectee.
49 took the chance to advance, and moved up to try and cut off the escape from the right flank. She was still holding a good 40 m range from the treecrown, in fear of a close engagement with a lightsaberwielding knight, but she held her umbrella ready.

As the hail of bullets began to pour out from the cannon, Atuna's gaze drifted to the assassin in the defensive posture. Not giving himself the time to perform threat assessment, he leaped, hard, fast and strong, onto her. Modified or no, umbrellas had weaknesses, such as being vulnerable to strong gusts of wind or excessive external pull. Atuna hit the ground some ten feet away from her and, in an attempt to disarm or otherwise remove the umbrella, leaped again, spinning horizontally, using the Force to telekinetically pull the tip of the umbrella down with as much force as he could muster. Unless she was holding the umbrella with two hands, keeping the weapon steady would be impossible due to the supposed imbalance this would create, and even if she was, it would take a feat of strength to maintain the levelness she currently had.
In the same sweeping motion, once Atuna had pulled down the umbrella, he would swing high, aiming for the shoulders with a horizontal slash. Should the assassin have lost her balance and the umbrella successfully been pulled, it was highly unlikely she could dodge this. If this maneuver failed, he would immediately attack again, aiming low with another horizontal slash. Then he would sprint away to avoid a counter attack from the other two assassins, regardless if the first one survived.

Phelar, a great city of industry and ingenuity upon Eriadu. Whereas the awe-inspiring spires of Eriadu City paled in comparison to that of Coruscant, the dreary scene of Phelar could be easily compared to the Underworld of Coruscant. Here was the center of great industry for Eriadu such as Eriadu's Manufacturing Shipyards which crafted various personal and small transportation; both planetary and galactic roles.
It was here that Malvus called upon his remaining Sith present on the planet; Drogan, Iskra and Noxus. However, among those called were unseen faces as the very power of the Sith Lord hid them from the senses of those all over the planet. Within the shadows awaited five other individuals, wearing angular masks and dark cloaks fashioned in the style of warriors of ancient empires. The Red Sith stood within the meeting area, awaiting for his associates to arrive and, at long last, meet their demise. For Malvus, the purpose of his current staff of Sith Lords had dried up; sensing their deep ambitions and ideal pursuits that would only make them liabilities. Malkor and Levitus would be dealt with on Alzoc III, allowing Malvus to focus upon the remaining trio.
As he awaited the arrival of his doomed colleagues, one of the masked persons approached Malvus from the shadows, speaking lowly. His voice was hushed and reptilian with a hint of hissing echoing from behind his grey mask. The Sith did not even look nor react to the approach of the one hidden from sight.
=???= My Lord, are you sure they will come? You have always told me of their paranoia, especially that of Iskra.
You need not worry. They will come and meet their demise. I have arranged it perfectly; if they sensed any danger, I have plans set up to ensure they cannot even step foot off this planet. For their days as my agents are over; I will not become like the Sith of old who stretched the limit of the Dark Side and muddied with the unworthy and impatient.
=???= What of us, Lord Malvus? Are we worthy to replace them? We are mere Adepts compared to their power.
Malvus's eyes would slowly glance at the masked figure crouched behind him.
That has yet to be decided, Adept. I know all of your abilities and capabilities; you will serve your purpose one way or another. But at least, you have shown patience, a trait I value greatly. Their power is perverted and bloated; a mere boast of their incompetence. Now, return to your position.
The masked Trandoshan bows to Malvus before slowly disappearing once more into the darkness. Five new Adepts, neither Sith nor Dark Jedi, but practitioners of the Dark Side. It was a page from Palpatine's book that the Sith had retrieved from. These undisciplined agents would serve as his fists, hands and eyes. Enforcers of his will from the shadows and agents of death upon the unworthy and dispensable. In due time, their undisciplined nature would be nurtured and refined, making them as powerful as an average Sith. Their indoctrination, however, was only just beginning...

Drogan, Iskra and Noxus would eventually arrive. Noxus arrived alone as usual while Drogan and Iskra arrived together at the meeting spot deemed by Malvus. The Sith awaited them calmly and patiently. Once the three had gathered, Malvus began his meeting. He queued a holo-recording, a fabrication made by his own handiwork, displaying Malkor and Levitus being cut down by Sith renegades on the planet of Alzoc III. His eyes looked at the three present.
Malkor and Levitus have failed us. They became bold upon landing and ran off to pursue their own goals, disregarding the commands of Solaris and Vurkar. Their punishment was death at the hands of these adepts! And they call themselves Sith Lords!
=Noxus= My Lord Malvus, Malkor and Levitus are simpletons. Why not send one of us with additional reinforcements to mop up this mess caused by those two?
=Drogan= Indeed, My Lord. Those two had no experience in ground troop tactics. Surely this must be the fault of Solaris or your son.
Iskra glances at Drogan with a sharp look. Even Noxus's mask stirred slightly, turning slightly at Drogan for his bold words. Malvus remained unprovoked. His eyes trained upon Drogan. Slowly the Sith Lord's stance shifts, giving his subordinate an inquisitive look.
Last I remembered, Drogan, you failed to weed out some criminal elements in Phelar. Elements that Malkor and Levitus easily discovered and dealt with. If you wish to speak of incompetence, I believe you are in the same group as they are.
=Iskra My Lord, you have every right to persecute Drogan, yet allow me to speak this. He has been a true servant, diligent and loyal-....
SILENCE!
Malvus's words bellowed through the empty room, causing Iskra to back off immediately. There was an anger boiling within the Dark Lord as he stared at what remained of his incompetent lot of Sith associates. He extends his hand, causing Drogan to grasp his throat and begin to choke. Iskra and Noxus back away as the Sith is lifted into the air. A dark tone came forth from Malvus's mouth.
Don't you dare patronize each other and think I am a fool. Do not call yourselves loyal, diligent or true servants while you plot your own advancements without a single piece of merit to your name. You are as petty as rats, as foolish as children, as incompetent as a Jidaii!
Malvus's glove gripped tightly, causing a loud snap to be heard as Drogan's body went limp. The Sith's corpse was thrown to the side. As the thud was heard, several more were heard as the entry ways were closed suddenly and locked. From behind Malvus, within the darkness that was present, five orange lightsabers came to life. Noxus and Iskra drew their own, realizing betrayal was at hand. Malvus rose up straighter, looking at the two that remained.
Just as I sentenced Malkor and Levitus to death, so shall I present the same verdict to you two. You have served your purpose, your worth...and now, you are nothing but liabilities to my plans. From now on, only the worthy shall serve me. The unworthy will rot in the ground beneath their feet.
Without a single gesture, the five lightsabers moved out of the darkness, revealing the five hidden figures that had been set up by Malvus. Their grey masks hid their faces and dark cloaks covered their bodies. To Noxus and Iskra, they were a faceless death that descended upon them. Remaining where he stood, the Sith Lord watched as the slaughter of Noxus and Iskra began; Sith who were deemed better to be dead than alive.

From orbit Captain Remus commanded Zuka's newest flagship, a massive and powerful Bulwark III Class Battle Cruiser. Remus, from the bridge obtained clearance from Eriaduan Security to land at a space port capable of accommodating the battle cruiser. Once landed Remus and other various officers would begin overseeing the loading of 5,000 stormtroopers being garrisoned nearby. These soldiers, were a donation from Darth Malvus to his cousin Zuka. The soldiers would now serve as Zuka's Phantoms, once under his command the soldiers would begin their elite training. Zuka no longer desired to have and maintain a large army, but rather hold a smaller, powerful elite force to carry out his operations for the One Sith and his cousin Malvus. Their lives would be forever changed once onboard the docked vessel.

Ifrit walked up to the ruined structure of the old Night Jedi Order. His field of vision expanding out to take in the building as he drew closer. It was an odd location for a meeting with Malvus, given the buildings history. But his friend had insisted they meet here for a chat. Something that they had not done in quite some time. If he recalled correctly, the pair had not been in the same place since the raid on Felucia, or the liberation of Pzob. Both of which had occurred before the formation of the new Dark Jedi Order.
He pushed the doors open and kept on walking into the main foyer of the building. He focused his vision within the building then, taking in the architecture. Since their departure, little care had been given to the Temple, and it showed. His attention was soon drawn to the presence of Malvus. The man appearing as a dark presence within the Force Malvus... I would not have thought you one to allow this place to remain standing once you took power...

Malvus was not alone, however. There were several cloaked and masked individuals that stood a respectable distance away from the two that were meeting. Necessary security and to ensure no one ventured here by accident. Then again, the Sith Lord knew that people never really dared to come to these old ruins. It was best nonetheless to have security given what was to be discussed between Ifrit and Malvus. The Sith looks around at the rundown complex that they stood within.
I never felt bothered to remove it... I had considered this place a prime candidate for a Sith academy, but the bowels of the Tarkin Estate have proven their worth. Cygnus was most generous in ensuring the facility was readily prepared for a true and proper successor rather than his wasteful nephew.
The Sith looks at Ifrit, seeing that the man had changed. Ifrit had accomplished much during his time with the Blackguard, reforming an allied organization within the ranks that proved to be quite successful. Dark Jedi had always been welcomed into the Blackguard and now Ifrit created a place for them to thrive.
I had considered tearing it down, but perhaps it can be used by another. Perhaps your organization, Ifrit.

Ifrit wasn't surprised when Malvus talked of turning the old Night Jedi Order Temple into a Sith Academy. Though, the knowledge that Cygnus had prepared the catacombs of the Tarkin Estate for such purposes instead was news. The family had come far since the days of Grand Moff Tarkin. And then Malvus proposed giving the old Temple to the Dark Jedi Order, instead of continuing to let it rot. it was a tempting notion, and having some more outposts for the Order would be beneficial in welcoming no members and launching missions It is a generous offer... The building seems to have strong enough bones that we might salvage it without totally demolishing it... It will be a welcome addition to the growing Order... So this is why you requested we meet here...

Malvus looks at Ifrit when the agreement was made.
I will have Eriadu supply necessary materials and laborers to help rebuild the facility to make it beneficial to the Dark Jedi. Anything immediate that they need, they can come straight to me for. Consider it a gesture of good faith between the two organizations that will build... something greater together.
Those final words hinted at another unknown subject, one that was the more primary reason for the meeting with Ifrit. With the rise of the Dark Jedi within the overall ranks of the Blackguard Reborn, their shared presence of Sith, Dark Jedi, and Dark Side Adepts was presenting a unique union of various Dark Side practitioners and masters. This unofficial union was the foundation that Lord Savage had been looking for to help with the building of the next stage of their evolution.
I have been permitted by Lord Savage to speak with you on secret matters... matters that concern the future of the two entities that now form the Blackguard Reborn. The Sith'ari has always had grand ambitions and plans, but there are those even grander than what we have achieved now.
Malvus had been privy to the early conversations and discussions among the senior leadership. After all, he was Jen'ari and second in command to the Sith'ari. If Ifrit and his group could back this plan, then Viox would have no issues with what was to come next.
The Sith'ari is moving towards the next stage of power. An effort, brought together by his organization and yours, to create a Dark Imperium. A Dark Empire not seen since the days of the reborn Palpatine and his vicious retribution upon the galaxy. He wishes to see you and the Dark Jedi included as integral parts of this future nation. He desires your support in seeing this come to fruition.

Once he had some time to figure out the temple's current layout, he would be able to begin preparations for a redesign. What the Night Jedi had once built, the Dark Jedi would improve upon and great something far greater. But such matters were pushed to the side as Malvus turned the topic of conversation to the apparent next phase of planning that Viox had been working toward. He crossed his arms as he considered his friends words. He had always suspected Viox would eventually make a play for a new Sith run Empire. A course of action which would pull them further into contention with the First Order and paint a larger target for the Jedi.
It was something of an inevitability that such discussions would eventually be had, and a decision needed to be made as to where the Order would stand. Despite the fact their numbers were as few as they were, a line in the sand had to be drawn. But the route with which he approached that line would make a lot of difference as to whether they would continue on or be crushed and reabsorbed into the greater order A new Sith Emperor... Ready to lord his power over all of creation... A new age of darkness... He paused a moment, as if he were weighing up the decision before him I respect you a great deal Malvus... And I certainly wish to see our enemies crushed. These two things are why I say this: We will neither support nor oppose the Dark Imperium. If Viox is capable of claiming the title of Emperor, he will have to do so by his own power... We will serve and carry out our duties as we always have... Whether the Blackguard remains as it is, or reforms as a new Sith Empire... That is for your kind to decide... So long as the end goal remains the same, the methods do not matter...

Malvus looks at Ifrit for a moment before a rare smirk appears on the face of the Sith Lord.
I believe you misunderstood me, Ifrit. This is not a Sith Empire. This is an empire that will be dedicated to the Dark Side of the Force itself. It will be an empire ruled by the Sith'ari as we know, but it will be necessary that Dark Jedi, Sith, and Dark Side Adepts work together for a common goal and under a common banner. It will be an Imperium that will be meant for all of those who follow the tenets of the Dark Side, no matter what they may be.
The Jen'ari looks away from Ifrit, gazing upward at the neglected ruins that surrounded them. Malvus was aware of Ifrit's stance towards the Sith in general. In fact, the Red Sith was perhaps the only one that the Spellbinder tolerated and willingly spoke with. He recalled a time when the Dark Jedi and the Sith were separate entities. It was indeed a rare occasion that the Dark Jedi were reformed, but still remained attached to the Blackguard. Lord Savage did not have any qualms nor arguments against its formation. After all, if anyone knew the Sith'ari best, it was Malvus.
Lord Savage does not desire a Sith Empire for the Sith. He desires an even greater vision... a Dark Imperium, led by a Dark Emperor, dedicated to the Dark Side. An all-encompassing faction that is composed of all practice the ways of the Dark Side. No matter who they are, Dark Jedi, Sith, or even a Dark Side Adept, Lord Savage desires to see all work together. The Rule of Unity... the philosophy of the Blackguard. Divided, we will fall like our predecessor. Together, we will outshine them and their archaic mindsets.
Malvus turns to Ifrit, looking directly at the Dark Jedi.
There is no Dark Imperium without the support of the Dark Jedi, Ifrit. That message was made clear and plain to me by Lord Savage. The Dark Imperium will represent the union between the three groups that exist within our ranks. He does not desire though to see the Dark Jedi be integrated, for he understands your desire for your well-earned degree of autonomy. In fact, he respects you for what you have achieved where so many others have failed. He simply desires your support. Together, the Dark Imperium will be a force beyond anything mustered. And with its banners raised high, a Black Crusade will fall upon this galaxy... and it will be changed. But not by Sith hands alone, but by all who are within the Imperium.
The Sith keeps his gaze firmly upon Ifrit, ensuring the message was made clear to Ifrit.
Lord Savage is not the same Sith as those who used Dark Jedi before... they are not pawns, they are not cannon fodder. This Imperium will make all equal, will unify all together, and ensure that we do not fade into the darkness as we have done so many times before. With Lord Savage at the helm, and people like us supporting him, my words I speak are an absolute, not a mere promise.

Ifrit respected his friends skill with words and speeches. But no matter the words used or the terminology changes made. The facts remained the same. It went beyond a simple matter of whether one called it a Sith Empire or a Dark Empire. It was a matter of principle and their code. Which, perhaps, required some further explanation upon his part. He crossed his arms as he let out a soft sigh I believe it is you that have misunderstood me, Malvus. So long as the Blackguard or Dark Imperium still has the same end goal, then we will be there working alongside it and supporting it. We do not seek division... We will always work to make ourselves stronger and prove our worth to those around us. Neither the Force, nor words, dictate our fates. Our actions are what make us who we are... So long as Viox's actions reinforce this message of a united Dark Side faction, then we will stand with him... It would definitely take more than Sith hands to ensure that once the Crusade was over, that a galaxy still existed to be ruled or live within. After all, history had proven that Sith teachings did not inspire victory though many means beyond planetary destruction and absolute chaos Do not mistake my intent... My Order was born from the Blackguard, to provide a place within its ranks for those of similar ideology to operate as they wish and see fit. You seek my word to be given in support of Viox. Yet, Have I not already pledged my service and the Dark Jedi Orders to him already through the actions I have taken? It may be the Sith way to provide verbal confirmation of a promise. But I do not place my trust in words... For they can easily be twisted to what ever meaning one chooses them to take. So, I say again... If he is capable of claiming the title, then let him do so. So long as his actions do not run counter to what he has proclaimed, then we will be there as we are now... You know me better than most... I pledged my word to a Sith once before. I will not do so again... No matter who it is... While he had intended to be a bit more diplomatic about this matter, such an attempt had clearly failed. Instead, blunt and outright honesty had won through. Hopefully, Malvus would better understanding his reasoning and answer

A rare smirk appeared on the Sith Lord's face. Perhaps he was the only Sith that Ifrit truly tolerated to the point of having these discussions. Perhaps that's the reason why Lord Savage wanted his Jen'ari to deal with this matter. Malvus was better with words when it came to Ifrit and the growing Dark Jedi Order. It would be a waste if they both took their separate ways as their predecessors had before. Divided, they would fall. United, they would survive.
That is some good wording; actions speak louder than words. A common phrase that I have noticed among all species within this galaxy we call our home. A common phrase that existed through time itself it seems... yet, as the galaxy changes, the meaning of those words stay the same.
Malvus adjusts one of his gloves slightly, looking away to view a neglected statue of some former Night Jedi.
The last time I spoke with Lord Savage, I could sense that he understood you. He desires nothing more than us to operate as one when the time calls. Likewise, he will neither interfere nor block the designs and path of your organization. Mutual respect between you and him. He has no desire to put a leash on you and your followers to rein you in further. I do not believe he doubts anything, but change can cause people to... react differently. If we are to be united, Lord Savage wanted to ensure that you and the Dark Jedi were involved. Otherwise, that just contradicts the intentions of the Imperium.
The Jen'ari turns to Ifrit after a moment longer, looking at the humanoid.
Felucia was just the beginning. Its only a matter of time before happens. At least, this time, we are not like our predecessors who were narrow-minded and archaic in their methods. The galaxy will not fear just Sith or Dark Jedi, but both... a dark covenant that will truly reshape this galaxy.

Malvus' reaction was enough for Ifrit to tell that his friend had understood his response. Where others might have tried to strike him down as a traitor, Malvus was more level-headed. He was more tactical in his thinking. Which was likely what had won out and spared Ifrit a fight. He cross his arms then, as Malvus spoke on. He could only trust that his friends words were indeed the feelings that Viox had expressed. Which, so far, seemed to be the case. Either Viox had use for the Order, or he truly believed in a united Dark Imperium. Whatever the case, things seemed like they would go on peacefully Only those that are not prepared over react to change... But that is usually because some fool did not prepare them enough... He gave a slight nod as Malvus made mention of past alliances between Sith and Dark Jedi Of course... And while I am sure it does not need mentioning... I intend to ensure the Dark Jedi do not end up as slaves or cannon fodder for Sith ever again. So long as we remain equals, then we shall fight alongside one another... He extended out his right hand then, offering it for Malvus to shake Agreed?

Malvus listens to the words of Ifrit, understanding where he was coming from. His Dark Jedi would be valuable allies and members of the future Imperium. From what Malvus understood, Lord Savage did not desire to follow the same path as before but rather valued the strong presence of Dark Jedi in his ranks. The Sith Lord had once sought a similar goal, but the Force did not destine him to do so. Instead, that burden was upon the shoulders of his superior, the Sith'ari.
His gloved hand reaches forward, grasping Ifrit's extended hand.
I will convey these words personally to the Sith'ari. And I will ensure, as Jen'ari, that they are carried out and understood by all. For we are neither the Sith of old nor the Dark Jedi before. We are a new generation, a rightful and better successor. Together, we are strong. Divided, we will fall.
Those last few words were known all too well to Malvus. For he had seen many Sith Empires rise and fall because the Sith felt they could do so on their own. Just as the Dark Jedi revivals before. The Sith needed the Dark Jedi and the Dark Jedi needed the Sith... this was plainly evident. And Malvus would not seen it undone.
